Vince wakes up on a rather large beach, laying flat on the sand. He groans and slowly sits up... What was he doing? Where was he? Vince has a minor headache, so he holds his head in his hand. After sitting there for a few moments, Vince looks around, turning his head. Ah, he remembers now. He was on a ship headed to an island he wanted to check out, but that was it... Did the ship crash? Nonetheless, Vince stands up and starts searching the island for his bag; he definitely knows he brought it with him. It had two of his most important creations in there... Vince picks up his pace and tries not to panic, leaving footprints in the sand. It was rather hot out here, he thought to himself.

Kirita Akuname

Kirita groaned, waking up on a long strip of beach. She sat up, her hair filled with sand, and random regions of her pale body were covered in sand. She was wearing a pair of shorts and a tank top, since it was so hot. Last thing I remember...I was relaxing on the deck, ignoring other people. Kirita thought to herself as she looked around, rubbing her eyes. She stood slowly, overcome with dizziness as she rose. She leaned against a nearby tree, most likely palm. She didn't see anyone else, but that didn't mean no one else was there. Step by step, Kirita began to travel the beach, hoping she wasn't alone.

Hyde heard that a human's cruise ship had wrecked and the debris had washed onto his kingdom's shore. I believe it's smart if I watch them, just not let them see me. However that could be problematic. After all I suck at using magic. The blonde elf crept closer to the humans, one female was walking closer to another male. I wonder if it's like Fredrick told me. As soon as they see each other they get ready to mate. Hyde thought. His face slowly turned sour at the thought of the humans mating. Why would Fredrick tell me such a thing? The blonde wondered. It's not like he can ask now. His older brother, Fredrick is now dead. Hyde just stayed in his place as he watched the humans. After all a little peeping never hurt anybody...Right?

After walking for a bit along the beach, Vince spotted a young girl. Wasn't she on the ship with him? He recognized her by her long hair. "Hey!" Vince shouted so she could hear, still walking towards her. He felt slightly relieved that he wasn't the only one here, but his bag was still really important, too. He needs it...

Vince finally caught up to the girl, so he stopped in front of her and adjusts his glasses. "You were on the ship, yes?" Vince asked, the expression on his face looked quite troubled. It's getting harder and harder to remain calm out on the beach like this.

Kirita Akuname

Kirita looked up as a male approached her, looking vaguely familiar. Once he asked about her being on the ship, she realized that that was why he looked familiar. She nodded, then looked around. "Is there a specific reason your face is twisted?" She asked him blankly, looking up at him. "Perhaps...you're looking for something?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. She looked around again, mainly along the beach. She hadn't been looking at the edge of the shore while she walked, so now she took the time to do so and realized she had passed a bag. She jogged over to it, lifted it, and then looked at the male. "Is this yours?" Kirita caught a glimpse of something yellow in the trees, something that was moving. Hmm. Midnight thought as she moved a little closer to the jungle.

Hyde saw the human female getting close. Shit. Shit. Shit. Fredrick you liar! They're not mating! In fact I might die because of your silly lie! Hyde thought. The boy looked around for a better hiding spot. You know what? I think I'm a little too tired to care. The worst that can happen is me killing those humans. Plus maybe I could study them...And get them to stop polluting the Earth. So with that the blonde stayed there, letting the human find him. Mostly because he forgot he could ask a plant to cover him....

Vince immediately recognizes the bag and takes it from the girl. He gives her a firm nod saying, "Thanks, this will be useful." Simply holding the bag made him feel better about the whole situation. Vince watched the girl walk towards a jungle nearby, but he could see someone else out of the corner of his eye. Another survivor, maybe? From where Vince stood, they looked like a human. Vince walks closer to ask the new mystery person, "You survived the ship wreck too, if that is correct?" Upon closer inspection, though, this person was abnormally tall and dressed strangely... They looked suspicious, so Vince kept his guard up and remained tense. Just to be safe, he slowly starts to reach into his bag for something.

Kirita Akuname

Kirita approached the figure that now seemed to be a person who was dressed rather strangely. She watched as the man she met spoke to the other person, who was also really tall. She inspected the man, then realized he had pointed ears. "He's not human." Kirita stated plainly, then tilted her head to the side. "I don't think he was on the ship."

Hyde smiled and clapped as the human girl guessed right. "My brother lied about you lot. You're not fools or mating... And you can even speak Elf! What delightful creatures you humans are! It would be nice if you could get the rest of your kind to stop polluting the Earth though..." Hyde responded. He smiled kindly. "So is it true that you humans can only live to a hundred years? The pretty young. Oh I know is it true that chocolate is the tastiest thing humans ever created?! AWE Now I want some chocolate. Wait. You're not here to kill my people, correct." Hyde started off excited, then ended it seriously.

(LOL. Your posts are so amusing.)

Kirita Akuname

Kirita looked at the elf and smiled slightly, then responded, "Yes we only live to one hundred years, in my opinion chocolate is pretty good, but not the best, and no we aren't here to hurt you or your people. The boat we were on crashed here. And I don't litter." Kirita added, eyeing the elf, then the man she met firsthand. What was his reaction to this? She turned back towards the shore, wondering if there were any other survivors.

(Same. They're fun to read!)

An elf? And properly speaking their language? Vince was pretty sure the girl he recently met spoke English just now... Vince could understand what the tall creature said, despite how strange the wording was (and the subject for that matter, he goes from mating to chocolate...). Nevertheless, Vince thinks the elf means no harm, so he calms himself and moves his hand away from a certain cube he was about to pull out of his bag.

"Yes, we both don't wish to harm you," Vince nodded, agreeing. Although the polluting part, Vince could blame himself partly for that. He's been getting better at making equipment that suited the environment well, but he does have quite a few that emit some harmful gases.

Hyde claps his hands together, creating a loud noise. "Perfect~! Now that I understand that you don't wish to harm my people, I can speak freely to you. So uh, humans, no no that won't work. You the female human I shall name you... Cinnamon, after a lovely girl my brother meet. I think he said she required a green substance in order to be with people...It's sad really,,,, And you human male I shall name you... Snow Ball after a rather beautiful creature my brother had also met. I believe it was a cat.... So Cinnamon and Snow Ball is there any other humans around?" Hyde asked.

Kirita Akuname

"My name is Kirita. Not Cinnamon. And I've yet to see any other survivors." Kirita replied with a blank expression, although she was internally annoyed. Weren't elves supposed to be intelligent? "Well, we've got to find a place to stay for the night, as well as food and water." Kirita began going into her 'survival mode,' focusing on what was important and whatnot.

"Uh, my name is Vince," Vince replied, looking slightly annoyed. Calling him Snow Ball rubbed Vince the wrong way; it sounded like he was being called a pet. Anyway, he adjusts his glasses once again before scanning the beach one last time. Actually, this would be easier if he did this... Vince reaches into his bag to reveal a grey cube. He places his thumb in a certain groove of it, and the cube turns into a high tech looking visor.

"If there are any more people around here, I can find them with this," Vince smirked before putting the piece of equipment on. It started to give him automatic information that was displayed on the transparent glass that covered his eyes. From the looks of it, he couldn't see anymore people around... Vince fears the worst, but he doesn't show the emotion on his face. After a bit, Vince nods without looking at Kirita, "Yes, lets do that." He stated with confidence, the lights on the visor started to dim.

Hyde smirked internally. Humans were so fun to play with. No wonder brother lived with their kind for a while. "I normally would offer food and shelter to creatures in need however," Hyde's happy smile faded and turned into a cold frown, "last time my father did that my people were nearly killed off. I'd really hate to lose my kingdom to a couple of humans, so I'll continue to study you humans. It's quite interesting to learn that humans grow attached to their young like us elves." Hyde said with a cold smirk. Once they prove not to be a threat I can offer them all the help the need, but for now... "Also Kirita, Vince, I'd hurry huge typhoons come in after the sun sets. I'd find a hollow (*cries* GIN!!! Haha watch Bleach) tree and sleep in it. Also be careful of my knights. They won't hesitate to kill humans after last time..." Hyde trailed off, a distant look in his eyes. "Well I'll see you lot tomorrow after dawn~! Farewell~!" Hyde said, returning to his overly happy self.

Kirita Akuname

Kirita looked at the elf in annoyance, but heeded his words. "He's right about finding a place to stay far from the shore, I'm not sure about his knights..." Kirita trailed off as she looked at Vince's visor then began walked into the jungle, having random branches scratch at her arms and legs.

(I used to read the manga, just never had time to continue ;- ;)

What the elf said made Vince feel uneasy, but Vince noticed Kirita already walking into the jungle. Vince tells the elf a hesitant goodbye before leaving to join up with her. Going headfirst into a place like this, they need to be careful...

"Here, let me lead," Vince practically forced himself in front of the younger girl, pulling out yet another cube. It was sliver in color this time. Once activated, it turned into Vince's favorite invention so far, his electric powered sword! Well, he didn't need to activate that bit, so he only used the sword normally to hack at the plants that got too close. "It's faster this way," Vince spoke up again as they headed deeper into the jungle.

Kirita Akuname

Kirita shot the male an annoyed look, but said nothing, and searched for a source of food or water. "I do not think it matters who is ahead. But have it your way, Vince." Kirita kept going, somewhat grateful for his interesting invention, since she was no longer cutting her legs on the branches. The small scrapes stung, but weren't important. "It would be best to find some place fairly high up." She added, looking for suitable trees.

Vince sighs and agrees yet again. He hated the thought of climbing, but what choice did they have? The girl with him is highly intelligent in this current field; Vince starts to wonder if she's hiding something. His visor gave him a warning light that flashed in the upper right hand corner of his field of view.

"Hm, I knew cutting the plants might have some kind of negative effect," Vince voiced his opinion while his visor was still trying to figure out what's coming. Whatever it was, the creature was leaping through the trees, approaching the two people traveling in the jungle. Vince tenses up, prepared to run if he has to.

After Vince passed by a rather small bush Sir Mittens smirked. He could finally have some fun (I apologize but Vince is his #1 victim now). Vince waits until Vince's left ankle was angled perfectly, and pounces. The small cat ran up his pant leg and climbed all the way to the top of his head. Sir Mittens smirked at his plan. The little shit will hiss and claw him every time he tries to remove him. And if that isn't enough he'll use the younger girl to his advantage. Maybe they'll have some yummy tuna! Sir Mittens thought.

Oh god.

"Where am I. Dude, no, please. Why, why me. why?!. why why why..."

I shook my head left to right on the ground, tasting the faint salt of the sea, and the grit of sand under my hands.

I tried to calm down, I really did. I really really did.

"holy crap, am I going to have to live here for god knows how long? I don't know what to do...what...how am I suppose to get food, shelter?? Is...is there somebody even HERE?? Dammit god! why couldn't you take my sister!?"

My god has failed me, not even mankind's savior can help me now.

No. Now is not the time to panic. I sat upright quickly and observed my surroundings. First, I must find shelter and food. This sounds like a tropical island, maybe there's some fruits? Oh yeah! I could also try to catch fish with my bare hands, I guess? and maybe these leaves can be great shelter, I guess?

But before I went out and collected food...

I sat down, crouched in the corner under a piece of leaf. And let out the biggest crying i've ever done in my life.

"oh my god, oh my god oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, "

I rocked back and forth like a baby, biting my nails furiously.

(Poor Vince will suffer :P )

The cat suddenly jumping at Vince shocked the young man. "Hey, what are you-" Vince was cut off once the cat climbed on his head. No one touches his head. Vince curses loudly, ignoring the warning signals the visor constantly gave him and instead attempts to move the cat off. He drops his sword in the process, raking at the annoying little thing occupying his head.

The creature from earlier saw the display and gave the group a questioning look before leaving. As long as they didn't cut down the plant life anymore, it wouldn't come back.

Nanami walked along the beach letting her hair billow in the breeze with her ears perked, tails swishing behind her she spotted a figure sitting on the ground in the distance she got closer silently till she stood in front of the human looking down at it ears facing towards it, her tails fanned out behind her (like a peacock when he spots his bae! xD ) " are you ok? " she asked slowly

@kimonka

The cat hissed and clawed at Vince's hand. Sir Mittens was only messing with the humans because Hyde asked him not to. Who was Hyde to ask him such a thing? All he wanted too do was have fun. The cat suddenly felt uncomfortable so he tried to knock the visor off. He hissed and swiped and hissed some more. Honestly Sir Mittens started to like this human he was fun to mess with.
