Thanks! It's mostly just memorizing the tags and figuring out the placement--I've never been on a forum that used BBCode borders, divisions, tabs, etc, so it's really cool to have all these options instead of just the basic bold, italics, etc.

It's definitely a cool part of the site! I wasn't used to it, either, this is actually the first RP that I'm really utilizing it in ^^'' I kinda love it and spent wayy too much time playing around with it (although, it makes posting from mobile a pain, good thing I use my computer for most of my posts!)

I totally forgot that the private workshop existed. I should probably practice my coding, too.

I use that thing for so much! So useful! Haha, it's great for testing things out or trying to organize your thoughts.

I'm going to be heading out soon, I have to work early tomorrow and I had gotten really sick earlier this evening so i'm even more drained from that. Plus my mind has become mush trying to work on my book. I feel like i couldn't do a justifiable post with my character in here.

thanks, I hope to feel better soon can't get into the drs for what i have until 4/26 so it's just an off and on ordeal in the meantime. Today was one of those off days with my stomach... Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

By the way, I added some additional info to Van's character sheet, under the tab of the same name. It doesn't all necessarily apply to him, but I figure the specific lore and sources I drew his powers/lichdom from might be handy to know.

Ah, just a little tidbit here, that's not exactly true in this world ^^'' Magic is kinda more clearly defined amongst the race information in the overview -- basically, dragons are elemental based, and others can have elemental affinities, but other than that, magic is not necessarily elemental at all. And, since all the races are kind of scattered throughout the world, there's not really any difference between 'western' and 'eastern' magic, mostly just differences between the magic of the races. I like the initiative and everything, but it just kinda goes against what has already been established for the world in this case :\ Sorry! D:


But in any case, don't worry about updating your character sheet, if it's really needed I'll make a mention of it, otherwise I think it will be fine to just have some things revealed in the rp.

Maybe this could be what his culture believes, as opposed to being how the magic actually works? And with this belief those who display an affinity for certain elements are taught in accordance with what his people believe these elements are supposed to represent? I imagine how magic works is studied as extensively as any scientific pursuit, right? And with a diverse world having different cultures and all, some may not study it as extensively or embrace the knowledge presented by another culture versus their own and all.
