The dragon froze as he heard a voice coming from behind him. He lowered his head and turned his long neck around to see a boy right behind him. When he asked if he could talk, the dragon only spoke through a fanged mouth,"Y-yeah...this is what they did to me. I'm a freak, I-I mean...look at me!" After that, the dragon turned back around and continued walking, his head remaining low and his overall impression seemed depressing.

Miziki Kurone

After a while the surgery was over and an unconcious Miziki was carted out on a metal table. Rather than tossed into the cell like a sack of trash like the rest of them, she was actually placed onto one of the beds. What would immediately be noticeable was her tail and ears that closely resembled a foxes'. After a few minutes Miziki groaned and rolled over. Another few minutes she slowly blinked her eyed open and looked around. She..could see? Sort of. She waved her hands in front of her face, and was actually able to see them. Cassandra had told the truth! Not only that, she could hear insanely well. She looked around and noticed Kito wasn't in the room, which worried her. "Kito?" She mumbled, turning to shakily stand out of the cot. Maybe her sight was just limited in range and Kito was there?


When she stood up she felt something soft brush up against the back of her legs. She moved to pull it and winced as she did, "What..?" She questioned to herself pulling her tail up and poking it. It..definetely was a tail, and it was attached to her. She questioned why, but decided to ignore it after a bit. A tail was a small side effect for being able to see. Kito not in sight she overheard Kai telling everyone to go get lunch, she figured Kito had already left out for it. Thus she moved to walk out of her cell and down the hall. Sure enough she found Kito a bit down the hall talking to someone else. Bypassing the guy he was talking to she ran up to him, "Kito! Kito I can see now!" She shouted excitedly. "I was right! You look awesome!" She added.

"I...I don't think you're a freak..." Timothy said softly to the dragon. He then thought that if that had been done to the dragon, what would happen to him? His thoughts were interrupted when Miziki ran up. "H...hi...." Timothy said shyly to her. @Isune @Mitchs98

Kito continued to walk until he suddenly saw Miziki hop in front of him. She looked different now, new ears and a tail to match. As she began to tell Kito how awesome he looked his head raised up a bit with a short grin beginning to form on his mouth. He then heard the new boy say that he didn't look like a freak which made Kito's head raise up even more. He was obviously flattered as he said,"Alright, alright that's enough you two. Come on, let's get something to eat, I'm starving." before he started walking again.

"Ok..." Timothy said to Kito, walking towards the courtyard. His stomach growled, and he realized how hungry he actually was. It made him wonder how long he had been unconsious. He blushed slightly when his stomach growled again. @Isune

Miziki smiled at Timothy, "Hi. Sorry I uh..kinda ignored you I guess. I'm Miziki." She replied. Honestly she was extremely excited. She might not exactly see like a normal person, she might have a tail now, but that's alright. It was better than nothing, which is what she'd had previously and honestly she could live with a tail in exchange. She was extremely worried Cassandra had tricked her for some reason, but she hadn't. She nodded and followed alongside Kito, "Okay. Food sounds good." She replied. After walking a little bit she tripped over her own tail and faceplanted onto the floor tiles. She groaned slightly and pushed herself up rubbing her cheek, "Dumb tail..." She mumbled before sighing.

Kito continued to walk until he watched Miziki faceplant directly onto her face. He chuckled slightly as he stopped and said,"Ha ha, at least I can't trip over my tail like that. Plus, I've got wings now!" And immediately after saying this, Kito let his powerful wings extend and flap a few times before tucking back at his sides. Maybe there was more to this experiment than Kito thought. Sure he may be a dragon now, but who knows what else he could possibly do in this form.

Miziki pouted slightly, "Well. I don't mind tripping. I'm just happy I can see." She replied. Though she had to admit, she was a bit jealous of Kito's wings and such..oh well. She'd learn not to trip over her tail eventually, plus..if he was gunna sit there and boast about his new form mayybe she could get him to cart her around. When Timothy asked if she was okay she nodded. "Yep. I'm fine. Thanks for asking." She replied. She then turned to Kito, a small grin on her face. "Think I can maybe...ride on your back until I get used to my tail?" She asked pleadingly.

Kito was about to get moving again when he suddenly heard Miziki ask if she could ride on his back. The dragon only sighed as he lowered his head and long neck down, waiting for her to hop on. It was times like this were Kito's kindness got the better of him. One minute he was a proud dragon, but now he was giving out horsey rides. She better not do anything stupid back there.

Mizikis' grin widened as Kito moved to let her get on, which of course she happily did. Climbing on she loosely wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned up against it. "Thanks Kito!" She told him excitedly. At-least now she wouldn't have to worry about tripping herself, plus it was comfy ontop of Kito. When Timothy spoke she inclined her head towards him, "What's your name anyways?" She asked him.

"Timothy..." He said shakily to Miziki. He nervously fiddled with his fingers. He still wondered what would happen to him here. And what would that man...Kai...do to him? @Mitchs98

Kito smiled as Miziki mounted up on him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He walked for a while until she began to talk to the boy who introduced himself as Timothy. The dragon stopped and only said,"Name's Kito." He looked the boy up and down for a moment before seeing his fingers nervously fiddling with one another. Kito looked Timothy with a slightly intimidating look as he joked,"Don't worry, I'm not gonna eat ya. A bit too small for my tastes anyways."

Kito smiled as Miziki mounted up on him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He walked for a while until she began to talk to the boy who introduced himself as Timothy. Miziki smiled reassuringly at Timothy, "Nice to meet you Timothy." She replied. "And yeah..Kito might like a bit scary to some people but he's very nice." She added in tandem with what Kito said. Honestly she was glad to find her cellmate was kind to her and they got along, plus she had a dragon she could occassionally ride around on as a friend to boot. What little kid wouldn't want something like that? Maybe she'd lie sometimes even if she did get used to her tail to ride around on him, he was comfy plus it was fun. "I wonder what food they'll have for us...I hope they have fish. They'll probably have some kinda prison food though." She commented.

Levi flinched when he hears the Cassandra's voice from the speaker. He felt really hungry when he thought about food. The cell's door clanks as it opens. The guards were already there to meet him before the cell's door fully opens. They don't seem as hostile as earlier. Levi steps out of his cell and follows the two guards leading him. Along the way to the courtyard, a guy in the lab coat stands. As they walk closer and closer, Levi recognized him. Kai, the guy earlier. Levi fixes his gaze on the man as they pass him. They turn into a corner, and Levi focuses forward. The guards stop before the courtyard entrance and stand sideways to let Levi pass both of them. Levi then proceeds to the courtyard and noticed that there were already a few people around, or should I say, monster. He tries to go back but the guards won't let him. Hungry? So, were going to be fed to that dragon and hybrid? Levi saw a young boy, maybe he was brainwashed by the two to believe them that they are friendly. If something is friendly it would have been their stomachs. Hey! He calls out to the kid, trying to keep his composure.

Timothy turned around to look at Levi. He walked over to him. "D...Did you need something?" He asked Levi shyly. Timothy continued to fiddle with his fingers. @CodeCJD

 

[Scattered Ambitions]

Persephone slid out of her cage as the doors opened, then motioned for Natsume to follow her. "I-it's lunch time, I'm going to go eat something. As she walked down the hall, she reached back to scratch and itchy spot on her back. It was then that she felt the two, giant feathered wings sprouting from twin bloody holes in her back. She whimpered, not because of the wings, but because of the pain she felt when she scratched the healing wound. When she brought her hand back with blood on it, that was when she screamed. Her knees buckled beneath her and she crumpled to the ground, crying. At this point she undergone much head trauma, and while this affected her hair and personality, it also made her much more emotional. It only took her a minute to calm down, and by then she thought the idea of having wings was pretty cool. She moved them around, and bounced down the rest of the hall, attempting to fly but only managing to float for a moment before she came back down. Desite this, she was still pretty happy. I mean, she had giant wings now. What's not to be happy about? In a moment she came into the courtyard where the food was being served. She stepped into line behind a large dragon, and fox girl riding on his tail, and a boy around her age and size with green hair.

Levi stooped down to the kid. Hey kid, d'you know that those are real? He said, almost whispering. Levi then set his gaze towards the two monsters that stand a few meters away from them. Levi grabs the boy's arm and tugged a little as he make a step away from the dragon that looks really intimidating.

[Necromantic]

Sage flinched back when the man pounder on his cell, but his fear only showed for a moment. He immediately pressed himself back up to to the bars, and was about to go back to yelling when somebody mentioned food over the intercom, and a boy was thrown into his cell. Ugh, he had been kidnapped AND would have to share his cell with someone? What a pain.


He didn't greet the boy before he left the cell, mostly because the boy promptly walked out... or maybe he still would have waited to introduce himself had it not been time for lunch, and just kept yelling at the passing guards. He couldn't be entirely sure which path he would have taken, because both had been cut off from him.


Instead of continuing to yell at people, Sage left the cell, as well. He could see the boy who had been thrown in with him, and could hear him well enough to hear him say his name, Timothy, Sage thought he heard, and bits and pieces of his conversation. He stepped into line behind a young girl with wings that looked like they had just been stabbed into her skin, which they probably had been. Fuck, that looked painful.

"Y...Yeah...I know..." Timothy said quietly to Levi. He stumbled a bit when Levi pulled him away. He bit his lip and looked down at his feet. He still wondered what would happen to him here, considering he hadn't been experimented on yet. @CodeCJD

Natsume looked up from Persephone as the cell doors opened, letting the two out to get food. She reached down and helped the white haired girl up before following behind her out into the courtyard. She had to walk a few extra feet behind her she to the fact that she had wings. But how was that possible? And what would they do to her? Give her Bigfoot feet or a tail? It seemed that Persephone had found out about it too, the small girl suddenly falling to the ground sobbing. Natsume rushed forward and wrapped her arms around the girl, pulling her head back into her chest. "Are you ok honey?"

Kito looked around the massive courtyard to see multiple carts strung out with food. It was basically an all you can eat buffet. Kito, completely forgetting that Miziki was riding on him, basically charged to the one that had a sign of a giant juicy steak slapped across it. At this point, Kito's mouth was watering. There was so much to choose from. And right now that he was in his dragon form, he could basically eat it all. He was going to reach for a plate when he suddenly realized, he didn't have hands to grip with. He had four legs that were meant to either keep prey in place or tear them apart.

She stepped into line behind a large dragon, and fox girl riding on his tail, and a boy around her age and size with green hair. She stepped forward after the dragon, and grabbed some food. When she looked at the meat, she felt sick, so she only took some fruit and a peice of bread. She then sat down at one of the tables, and practiced moving her wings around.

Miziki Kurone

Miziki was genuinely surprised to see a bunch of normal food lined up for them to eat. Not only that, all of it smelled really good. She frowned slightly as she heard Levi speaking about those things, obviously referring to her and Kito. She couldn't believe him, really. They were just talking in the van and now he was treating them like hostile creatures. She decided to ignore him, it wasn't worth getting mad over. He'd just prove him wrong. She giggled as Kito went to get a plate with his claws and failed. "Don't worry, I'll help." She told him. Hopping down off of him she grabbed him a plate and put a steak on it. After she pretty much sniffes out a stand that had fish on it and got herself a plate full of assorted fish; mostly salmon. She then returned to Kito's side. "C'mon, let's find somewhere to eat." She said, leaving it up to him to find where.
