Fantasy The Killer Academy

Nightshade still didn't know what class was she in but everyone is fighting and she really didn't want to get hurt. She looks towards the door, I think I can make a break for it. She gets up and dart toward the door, unlucky for her she trips and fall face first into a boy's lap. Her face grows hot and she wants to move but it seems like her body is a rock. Well god wants me to die today was her only thought.

Erin walked away from the desk, and back towards her place at the front of room. "...quite the fierce woman... damn straight..." she muttered under her breath, before leaning back against the wall.

(Sorry for cursing. Just wanted stay in character :I)

Dorzo smirked, "Am I wrong? Fierce women are nice." He looked toward his brother toward the back of the classroom. "He isn't fierce at all, women's better than him." He couldn't help but comment, although didn't mean it entirely. Lorzo got pretty badass during battles, but his usual altitude's way too peaceful for his style.

That's when his attention shifted toward the twins in the classroom. They haven't participated in all this ruckus at all really. Frowning, as if they're skipping out on some fun, Dorzo called out. "By the way, you two, way too quiet for this class. Name's Dorzo over here, Erin over there, and Meimei right there. Why don't you join in too, twins." He grinned toward Lox and Lax, who are also in the classroom.

Mei gave Erin an apologetic look before turning to the class, finally deciding to start class to end all this ruckus. "My name is Mei Wong, and this teacher here is Erin Lieona. I don't bother with long introductions since most of you are going to die anyway," after the words slipped out of his mouth, he cursed inwardly. He shouldn't have been so direct with that. Those idiotic students must be affecting his mind. "You will not need to take much notes in this class, nor will I force you to use a weapon that you are not comfortable with. Instead, I like to observe your skills with your own weapons, and what I mean by that is have some sparring sessions so I can observe."

He looked down at a student list and picked two random names. "Lorzo and Annette, please come up."

While waiting for students, Ying noticed a girl sitting near the front row staring at her with a lock pick in her hand. It wasn't the first time that someone has studied her like this. Take earlier this morning for example.

As a response, Ying could only smile. Deciding that no more students were coming in, she stood up and bowed curtly to the class. "Nice to meet you all, my name is Ying Yu. Before we start class, does anyone have any questions or issues?"

Jane raised her hand that held the lock pick but kept her grasp around it. She spoke before the teacher called on her and asked excitedly. "What will we learn today? The Academy's past? Perhaps this place was built on a battlefield graveyard?" A wide smile stretched on her face as countless questions popped into her mind.

Lorzo raised an eyebrow from his seat when his name's called, by the teacher Mei, who finally seemed to settle things down. Dorzo had a grin on his face as if he was totally interested into what's going to happen.

Throwing a glance at Annette, who's name is also called, Lorzo stood up from his seat and slowly shifted to the front of the classroom, exchanging looks with the side of their eyes with Dorzo.

Annette let her attention slide back to the teacher as he introduced himself very briefly. Well, Mei's bluntness was so comforting...unfortunately, there was much truth to his words. Annette sank a little in her seat to relax until she heard her name called for sparring. Lorzo, her opponent, apparently was the brother to the obnoxious one called Dorzo. Not that it made much of a difference to her, but she would have been more satisfied to put Dorzo in his place. Of course, Annette hadn't seen either of them fight before, so she didn't know why to expect. In fact, this Lorzo character was probably good at something, or else he wouldn't be here. The girl sighed and grabbed the knives she had with her- only three today. She made her way to the front of the class, not bothering to glance at anyone else, since she didn't know them anyways or care much what they thought of her.

(Sorry, I won't be replying anymore tonight- gotta sleep!)

Masao smiled openly (still looking like an ogre flashing a toothy grin) as he discreetly bent his knees for the teacher, allowing him to grab on to his collar, then further bent forward so they'd be at eye level. Keeping it not obvious was harder than he thought, the man was stronger than his puny build suggested. He still could've resisted if he wanted to, but a manly man does as manliness dictates, and not only was the teacher in his right but directly embarrasing someone for being smaller and punier was not a manly thing to do. Not to mention this one had the guts to go up to him and grab him by the collar, there were many yakuza that hadn't had the balls to try that with him. "HAHAH! Yes, teacher has manly courage, I respect. Apologies, please".

When Mei let go he strolled over to a seat next to Jacob's and plopped down on it. The chair, normal-sized and meant for people far lighter than Masao, was extremely uncomfortable and visibly strained under his massive weight. If anyone in the room had gambling problems they would've started to bet on how long it'd take for the chair to break. It seemed his first class of the day was weapons and that there'd be fighting and then the other teacher was also in charge of fighting classes. If he'd known school would be like this, he never would've dropped out to strengthen his sumo in the first place. This place was great.

Erin watched Annette and Lorzo walk to the front of the class. "Sparring... that's MY job..." she thought, somewhat irritated. "Oh well, at least I'll be able to see who I need to babysit in my class."

Mei took a glance at Annette's three knives and nodded slightly. If the girl could make good use of such simple weapons, she was sure to be a great student.

He then took a glance at Lorzo and remembered the way that he threw a blade at Dorzo. To do so, he must have a good aim and a great amount of wrist strength. Mei almost couldn't hide a smile at the knowledge that he already found a student of great potential.

"Please begin sparring, and make sure you fully utilize your weapons," Mei reminded the two.

At Jane's enthusiasm, Ying couldn't help but laugh softly. "Well, since today is the first day, I am thinking of starting off easy. So yes, today we will be learning about the school's origins."

Once again broken from his daze, although this time by direct contact, Kuran begun to feel irritated. He looked down to inspect whatever had fell onto his lap, nearly missing the blade of the scythe. Confusion replaced irritation as he realized it was a girl, not an object as he had thought, that was in his lap. The girl had pink hair for some reason, and she had fallen face first into his lap. Realizing that the girl wasn't moving, Kuran grew curious.

Why is she not moving? ...Why my lap too....

Wait is she frozen?....

Deciding not to waste energy on talking, Kuran lifted the girl up and set her back on her feet.

"Be careful"

Not waiting for her reply, he turned back to his scythe, looking it over one more time.

Upon hearing the teacher who told them to start sparring, a wide grin formed onto Dorzo's mouth. Lorzo frowned, really not into a great mood to spare first thing in the morning of the first class, but he took a good long look at his opponent before taking two guns out from the side of his belt.

He was not sure what the other's name is yet, but she was the one with the nice blades and the cold aura. From the way she acted, she must had quite some experiences already, and could be really skilled indeed.

Lorzo had long learned the lesson to not underestimate someone. He let out a sigh and reloaded two of his guns before holding them down by his sides, then looked toward Annette, with a look as if asking her if she's ready to start, before opening his mouth.

"Shall we?"

Jane brought both hands, now clenched into fists, up to her chin. "Oh yay!!" She gleefully sat at the edge of her chair, leaning closer for the lesson.

She looked towards the boy with the mechanical arm and whispered to him, "Maybe this school was built on some sort of mystical land that was taken over by humans- Wait no, that is a bit ridiculous. This school could have been rebuilt from the ruins of a kingdom! That must be it!! Oh wait, perhaps this place was first a psychiatric hospital?"

Jane smiled as countless questions flooded into her mind. Either way, she couldn't wait to find out what kind of thrilling past the Academy had.

Annette wasn't all too thrilled either...fighting first thing in the morning wasn't exactly on the top of her list, but whatever. They were here now anyways. Truthfully, the girl wasn't all that experienced since she was only self-taught and her targets were normally caught off guard by her attacks instead of anticipating them. She wasn't the strongest fighter either, but she was strategic. Annette normally did a lot of research before killing so she knew what to expect- what weapons the targets used, their speed, physical weaknesses, etc. She found that her smarts often covered for physical inferiority, but it made her a little uncomfortable to be going into this fight without any prior knowledge. Annette's eyes darted to the guns Lorzo drew, and she frowned a little. She had always heard you were never supposed to bring a knife to a gunfight. Still, Annette had nearly unparalleled determination. She gripped a knife in each hand and made sure the third was secured on her waist before facing Lorzo. "Ladies first," she smirked.

Caleb brightened at the teacher's soft and easy-going attitude. Ying seemed like such a nice person. He grabbed a pen and a notebook from his bag and prepared to study hard, since he wanted to do his best. The male looked over at Jane when she spoke to him and nodded enthusiastically; he was quite curious as well. "Oh, that would be really cool!" he agreed. "So mysterious...I'm so excited," he grinned. "I'm Caleb, by the way," he whispered before turning back to the front.

Nightshade looked at the boy before shakily thanking him. Well that could have been worse but she still doesn't know what class she was in. Oh well at least the teacher was about to teach. She looked around, what about introductions. "Umm teacher shouldn't we introduce ourselves."

"Alright class, make sure you take good notes. I won't put this on a test, but it can always be extra credit," Ying said. "No one is a hundred percent sure of how the school was created, but the most common belief is that the school was established by a retired soldier. Several hundred years ago, a soldier of a small country served in the army for many years, and he was promoted many times. There was an unfortunate event involving the soldier's family and the government, and the soldier was forced to send an execution order. Soon after the execution took place, the soldier secretly left the military. He made a living for himself for several years, but he could never get over the death of his family who died on his own orders. In order to seek revenge to those that forced him to send out the order, he established the Killer Academy, which back then, was just several deadbeats in a shack. The former soldier trained them personally, and he transformed those people into skilled assassins who killed the men in the military and the government. Since then, the school continued growing, and became what it is today."

Lorzo raised an eyebrow at Annette words, he could tell that she's fully readied to start--the knives in her hands and one around her waist said so. The white-haired lad looked around the surroundings first before letting out a sigh, "Since ladies first, you should go first." He lowered his eyes and closed them, when he opened it again, it was accompanied by a smirk. "....Not like I really care though."

He knew fully well that using guns may resulted in a lot of damage toward the classroom, for if the bullets missed its targets it would be damaging the school's properties. Moreover, the students in the classroom might get shot instead of her opponent. Daggers were his earlier weapons, and if he use those it would match the opponent's weapons as well.

However, those were not important. The students should get ready to be injured or killed anytime anyway. Despite his earlier reply to Annette on how ladies should go first, Lorzo raised his gun and pointed it toward her, there was a moment of pause before he suddenly shoots 3 bullets, aiming right at her heart.

Dorzo watched Lorzo go first before a smirk formed onto his face. He knew that usually Lorzo would wait for his opponent to attack first before he started to attack himself--which was the opposite of what Dorzo would do. So watching his younger brother starting the fight first caught Dorzo's interest. The opponent looked pretty confident, so it wouldn't be weird if she dodged Lorzo's gunshots, and Lorzo should know that himself. In his mind, he started to play the fight's outcome, guessing all the opportunities and wondering what his brother should be thinking. It wasn't long before he looked toward the teacher, Mei. "You're pretty interesting Meimei, don't give a damn about the damaged school properties?" he grinned.

Jane marveled at Ying's explanation about the Killer Academy's past. "This magnificent place used to be a shack. That is truly spectacular!" She looked back at Caleb, "I'm Jane. It was nice meeting you, Caleb!"

"Thank you for the lesson, Miss Ying!" She smiled as she stood up from her seat and bowed to the teacher before she darted out of the classroom, "I should read more about this place!"

After years of running away from towns officials that tried to catch her during her acts of thievery, her feet were extremely light letting her have a faster pace than most people. Jane giggled as she ran through the hallway and made her way towards the library.

She grabbed the doorknob and pushed only to have a frown settle on her face when the door did not nudge. The girl tried again, this time pulling and then pushing, making sure she was opening the door the right way, which ever way it was. "It's locked? Oh, well...I guess I can finally use my trusty friends to work then."

Jane looked around before she slightly bent down towards the lock and switched the short hook pick she held in her hand with a half diamond pick. She bit her bottom lip as she held the lock pick closer to the library's keyhole.

Mei shot Dorzo a glare before returning his focus back on the battle. "School property is not my concern as long as I do my job."

Ying didn't even get a chance to open her mouth before Jane dashed out of the classroom with the speed of light. "My, what a fast runner..." she took a look at her watch and decided that it wasn't too early to let the students out, so she smiled at the students, "Well, why don't you all follow Jane's lead and be dismissed?"

That's exactly what I meant. Ladies first...meaning you first...thanks for your compliance. Annette smirked to herself and quickly dodged the bullets. If there was one thing she could do, it was that. Annette wasn't really a gymnast, but she was light on her feet and had quick reflexes. She knew she had to be careful though- she didn't have an unlimited supply of weapons, and Lorzo undoubtedly had more bullets than she had knives. Why they were fighting in a classroom, she didn't really know. Not that she cared enough to question it- this was an academy for killers, after all. The girl's eyes examined her opponent, trying to get a reading on his abilities. When she found a good angle, Annette closed the distance between them and swiped at Lorzo's side, figuring he would not be able to shoot and hit her so quickly at this spot.

Caleb quickly scribbled down notes in his notebook, not wanting to miss anything, even if they weren't going to be tested on it. After the Ying had finished the explanation, he raised his hand. However, it looked like they were already dismissed. Caleb shrugged, figuring there really wasn't much that happened on the first day after all. "Oh, nice to meet you, Jane-" he started to say, but she was already gone. Caleb took his time packing up and then approached Ying after many of the other students had left. "Um, ma'm? You said this was the most common belief...but it that what you believe happened?" he asked.

Nightshade finally figured out the class she was in, but she still didn't anyone. She looked around and finally just turned to the boy whose lap she fell on. "Umm hi I'm Nightshade, who might you be?"

Ying tilted her head to the side at Caleb's question. "Well... I've heard many rumors and legend of how the school came to be, and to be honest, none of them sounds very believable to me. Even the common belief that I just told you. The events of such an assassination would surely be recorded somewhere, but I have scoured through libraries throughout the world, yet I have never found one text in which they mentioned the event. For me, the origins of the school is a mystery..." she looked up and smiled almost ominously at Caleb. "But of course, that's until someone finds out the secrets of this school."

Jane hesitated before deciding to place her pick away and turned away from the library. There was always more time, perhaps she can visit the library again during lunch time.

The girl scratched her head as she tried to figure out where to head. She blinked when an earlier event flowed into her mind, reminding her what happened. "Hm, I wonder what's going on in Weaponry Class? I should go take a look!"

Jane smiled and made her way into the classroom, it was her second class after all. She quietly entered the room through the back and sat down next to a boy with glasses who was sitting by the window.

She leaned towards the lad and lowered her voice, "Hello there! Would you mind briefing me of what is going on so far?"

I pondered the question. Who might I be? What's the shortest way possible to say who I am without being rude?...

But I don't want to waste energy.......

Not even looking up, I replied to her.

"Kuran"

That's short and simple right? It's good enough.

"Well Kuran hey, do you know what class we're in. I've been so confused since I woke up and I really just want to know what's going on."
