hehehe, Coincidentially, I feel like moon owl might sympathize with White diamond,
Moon Owl actually has a similar case to white diamond in the webtoon, I think?

Moon Owl is actually revealed later on the chapters to have a blinded right eye along with a scar, caused by the Emperor of the First Kingdom, Empire El pedium (I forgot his name but he also participated in the Jewel Box ^^)
Because of this scar, he also grew to be insecure of it, hiding it from people with a hood and believing that no one can ever truly love a boy with such a scar.. until he met a girl in the library.

He fell in love with this girl and she did too, they'd meet each other at the library exchanging notes inside books, when one day, she accidentally kissed him, curious on what he looks like. Moon owl as a kid, promised her that he'll show her his true appearance if they met at the clock tower by 4:00 at noon (I think that was the time??)
When he arrived however, she wasn't there, thus he waited, but the rain started to pour heavily thus he got sick and fainted, fortunately two people saw him and took him in.
The girl however, was late due to her family issues, (cinderella typa girl), when she arrived, the rain was heavy and he was no longer there. For years they'd been looking for each other and one day.. they unknowingly did as adults when they met in the jewel box for the first time..(again... in the second/third chapter)
