Fantasy The Harpy Village

Now she was very confused. If he wanted space, why did he keep nearing her? Very slowly she took one step back, eyeing him warily.

(Can you please describe the traps?)

He just waited for her to take the last step so she could fall into his trap that he had created.

(It is like a net trap, when she steps on it will lift her up off the ground and make the net tied up.)

He didn't say another word, so she took the last step, and suddenly shrieked when was suddenly lifted off the ground and enclosed in a net. "You tricked me!" She exclaimed, glaring down at him while she tried to break out. Black and ebony colored feathers fluttered down to the forest floor, while the young harpy was thrashing around. She had fallen backwards when the net came around her, and now she was obviously struggling to get upright. Her wings and feet got stuck and tangled in the net and she screamed in outrage and pure annoyance.

He just grabbed the net and cut her down but the net was still enclosed he just put the harpy in his car And he started driving to his house.

Ava was infuriated and tried kicking out and fighting her way out, but that only got her more entangled. Her eyes widened with fear and she shrieked when put in the car, and though she miserably failed, tried to get back out the door.

He closed it before she did and once he arrived he opened the door and brought her into his house. He locked and shut everything so she couldn't get out because he knew she didn't have hands to open stuff. He then cut the net open so she can walk around the house.

It only took her a few moments to kick her way out of the net and stand up with a glare in his direction. Then she spun on her heel and sprinted into the house out of his sight before he could even speak.

She pushed herself under the bed and got as far back as she could, trying to calm her loudly beating heart and breathing. She had been struggling the entire way, and was quite breathless now.

Ava curled up tightly, her black feathers wrapped around herself so it was harder to see her in the shadows.

"I don't know. Take me home," Ava whimpered, not moving from her hiding place.

"What!? No it's not!" Ava argued from under the bed. She was nothing terrified now. Her family and friends would realize she was gone. Then what? Would they ever find her?

"Do you really want me to get mad? If you do then stay under there and you won't lie, what I'll do next." He said to her. This harpy was his new pet but yet she didn't want to be.

Ava didn't budge and replied stubbornly, "It isn't my problem if you get mad." She hugged herself tighter, staring out at his feet from between some of her feathers.

He just got mad as she talked back to him he just moved the bed and grabbed her by the leg and dragged her out. "Alright I will only say this once and once only! You will be a good little harpy or I will cut your precious wings off while your awake got it!"

She tried to cling to the bed but failed, her eyes were wide and holding nothing but horror. If he did cut off her wings, she wouldn't be able to keep balance or do much of anything... It was a person loosing their arms, or a cat loosing their tail.

Still petrified with fear, she nodded shortly, and looked down. She didn't say a word because she was scared her voice would fail her.

He picked her up and brought her to a bird cage that could fit a harpy and he out her in it and locked it. "Now if you wanna be a good bird you will act like one." He said to her.

Her bones were that of a bird, so she was much lighter, probably only weighing around 50-80 pounds in all. When picked up however, she wanted to thrash and struggle, but didn't want her wings cut off, so she held still, and looked down silently.

She stood up in the cage and opened her mouth to snap at him, but slowly said instead in a softer, more annoyed yet timid tone, "I am not just a bird." Very slowly and without a sound, she took a small step into the back of the cage, just in case he had a knife on him and would slice her wings off in a mere second.

"If your not just a bird what are you, you may be a harpy but harpies are birds. You also can qualify yourself as human either..." He said to her as he brought her some bird food and water.

"I am not just a bird though, and I can't open those things anyway." She said, pointing with a wing at the door and windows. The harpies in her village didn't have such things.

When the bowls were put in the cage she gave him a blank look. "What is that?" She meant the birdfood

"Food you will eat from now on. And even if you can't open doors a pet goes in it's cage when it's owner tells it to." He just walked over to the harpy and he touch her legs. "Hmph it's a shame no one will ever see you again."

"This whole entire thing is basically a cage." She countered, folding her wings over her chest with a frown. By 'thing' she meant the house.

She eyed the food, and chose not to eat it. She was not just a bird. She didn't even see actual birds eat that stuff!

When touched, she took a tiny step back, trying to get out of reach or send the message she wasn't just a doll or idiotic pet that could be pushed over like a doormat.

"You will eat it or you know what will happen." He said to her as he watched his new pet. He didn't know what she would like anyway...

She glared and then said, "if you cut me even the slightest you might as well kill me, because I won't listen or do anything but sit around and complain." She was confident in this, and held her head high.

"You sure about that?" He grabbed the harpy and took her out of the cage he then grabbed some chains and he chained her to the ground. He punched her in the gut a few times, "your just a pet and you will do what I say understand!"

She screamed when dragged out and only screamed louder when punched. Now she was mad. She refused to be broken. She knew he would only be a bigger jerk if he thought being mean made her obey. She glared up at him. If he returned the look she would say "oh sorry, was I supposed to respond to that?" She was fully prepared to get hit again.
