@Kiroshiven A katana is characteristically a long weapon, for a sword. They're a bit over 3 feet long, typically. They are traditionally supposed to be wielded with two hands, which is why anime characters confuse me so sometimes. Though, if you wanted, a Nodachi might just suit him better, as it is much longer, and would provide a great deal of reach, allowing him to maintain his distance. As someone who doesn't have much defensive capacity, that would be useful.

I just went with the information you provided. Afterall, you had mentioned they had guards there should they try to escape or go berserk. I just went with that based on what happened. I'd have assumed most people would have thought they'd turned and that there'd be some assumptions to fix up. I can gladly change it if you'd like.

Hey, this is probably gonna irritate the tits out of you since you already typed your post, but the last thing that Rook said was italics. I probably didn't distinguish that everything in italics was in his mind very clearly, since there were quotations, but the only time you'll see me using italics in anything phrase given verbally is when I use emphasis on a very small group of words in a sentence or when I'm translating from foreign languages.
