She was now in her comfort zone with the melee attacks, however, it had been a while since she felt a rush so violent. Her adrenaline overpowered her thinking. As Ribbon closed in on her, she crossed her wrists together above her head to block her attack, her mind desperately scrambling around to muster up a counterattack. She couldn't do it. It was like turning a page of a book and finding that the ones following that one were all ripped out. She remained on the defensive, staggering away from her now opponent. Ribbon seemed to be retaliating quicker as the fight went on and it left, but it only diminished the amount of time that Penny had to react to attacks. She wouldn't be able to block everything that came her way at this point.

As the blade came at him, he simply took a step to the side, leaving him standing at the side of his opponent. Without thinking, he grabbed his wrist and cupped his hand around his elbow, gaining temporary control over Ignis' arm. He pivoted on one foot, turning and throwing his opponent away from him. He wasted no time. He drew his arm back at his side and ejected his chains, the spear at the end of the metal tendril barreling towards his opponent.

Aurora instantly scowled. "Do you think I'm stupid or deaf?" her tone was not as matter of fact as it was once before. The woman was actually offended by what was said. She was not able to swiftly take her rifle out from behind her, but she held it with enough malice that she doubted the other woman would calm down.

"I know what they're going to do to us if we try and damage their property. Do you not read newspapers or blogs? Money is what they care about."

Aurora flicked what she believed to be the safety off and then pulled the trigger. It easily buried itself in the wall behind Margret. "Neither of us are front line men, they have to know that by now, but we're going to be fighting for a while before one of us gets exhausted. They've seen enough to see that we're valuable. I do something with scent and you can use a bo staff. You're prettier, so they'll be willing to patch you up more than me. I shot you and this is over with only a flesh wound instead of broken bones or worse."

Now, she was back to the nonchalant tone. Aurora didn't feel safe letting any of her real emotions be seen by anyone in this arena. She wasn't going to be a pet for them to hold a carrot in front of for her to follow. There had to be a way to get out of this some day... Had to be.
