As evening turned to night, Luna genuinely enjoyed the music. It was the one thing she genuinely loved about Elias; he was the only person who ever managed to play harmoniously with her. Once they were done, Elias wished for a lovely gazebo with a lovely table and chairs. To her surprise, purple roses also grew.

Roses, Elias? I judge by the slight confusion on your face that they came as a subconscious addition. Luna smiled as she sat down opposite him. "Thank you for this memorable time." she said as she gazed at the lovely moon. "You are the only one I have ever played such touching music with." She smiled as more roses appeared, the same colors as the ones from Easter. She decided to do one more thing. Red bleeding heart flowers also appeared, growing in vines from the ceiling of the gazebo.

"Another favorite." Luna smiled, waving her wand so that a flower fell, landing in her hand. She handed it to Elias.

"What plants do you like." she asked.

"Thank you for this memorable time." Luna said as she gazed at the lovely moon. "You are the only one I have ever played such touching music with."

"With all my pleasure," Elias replied smilingly. "And you are the only one I enjoy playing music with..." Where I can play with all my heart and speak my feelings to you through the music... He thought for himself as he noticed that more roses appeared, this time, white and black colored. To his surprise red bleeding-heart flowers also appeared, growing in vines from the ceiling of the gazebo.

"Another favorite." Luna smiled, waving her wand so that a flower fell, landing in her hand. She handed it to Elias and then she asked: "What plants do you like?"

Since it had been a very long day and Elias was feeling a little confused because of exhaustion and lack of sleep, he almost hallucinated that real hearts had appeared and that Luna gave him one, and he replied without thinking a second: "You,....I love you, my dear.." He had heard the word plant and he wanted to say that he loved roses, that red roses were his favorite ones and he thought he had told her that unaware of that he actually had said something quite else hence suddenly red roses appeared along the pillars of the gazebo. With his wand he cut off one red rose, attached it to her hair and smiled romantically.

"You,....I love you, my dear.." He said charmingly as red roses appeared along the pillars of the gazebo. He romantically attached one to her hair, and she smiled charmingly.

I cannot believe he actually.. .. openly said. . .perhaps he is not thinking straight? Perhaps, he had a tiring day, or. . .Nevertheless, I should end this now, so as not to go too far.

Luna stood, still smiling. "Forgive me, Elias." she said politely "I have grown weary. I must retire for the night. Good night." She walked out of the clearing, admiring the plants one last time as she walked, then disappeared as soon as her foot reached the exit. She washed, and dressed for bed, and slept quite well. Aaron was no longer an issue, and Elias had moved past his pitying shame.

Luna awoke in the morning feeling refreshed. By the time she was ready, it was eight thirty. She arrived at work, and left a small gift in Elias's office. Wrapped, and kept warm her usual spell, was a basket of small, assorted home-made breads, and a tomato-basil soup with cream, all in a lovely basket. A note was attached, which read:

Dear Elias,

I must thank you again for last night. It was truly ecstatic, and left me wanting to see you again. If you would like to meet me this evening, please send me your reply, including your chosen time and place. If you do not reply by five pm, I will understand it as a no.

Luna

Elias woke up early the next morning, feeling groggy. He did not remember that much of what had happened last night. He had a vague memory of spending the night with Luna and then coming back home after midnight. He washed his face with ice-cold water to shake himself awake before he opened one of his cupboards and took out his pensieve which he placed at his desk. He pointed the tip of his wand at his temple and extracted the memory from the last night, which he put in the pensieve. He dived in, went past some old memories which he did not wish to see and entered the memory of the last night..

Elias led Luna to a beautiful gazebo which appeared out of nowhere. Purple roses grew around them. They sat down opposite each other.
"Thank you for this memorable time." Luna said. "You are the only one I have ever played such touching music with."
"With all my pleasure," Elias replied smilingly. "And you are the only one I enjoy to play music with..."
More roses appeared, this time white and black colored. Red bleeding heart flowers also appeared, growing in vines from the ceiling of the gazebo.
"Another favorite." Luna smiled, waving her wand so that a flower fell, landing in her hand. She handed it to Elias and then she asked: "What plants do you like?"
"You,....I love you, my dear.." He said charmingly as red roses appeared along the pillars of the gazebo. He romantically attached one to her hair, and she smiled charmingly.

Luna stood, still smiling.
"Forgive me, Elias." she said politely "I have grown weary. I must retire for the night. Good night."
"Good night, my dear, sleep well" Elias replied.

She walked out of the clearing, admiring the plants one last time as she walked, then disappeared as soon as her foot reached the exit. And Elias rose up from his place as well and apparated away.

Merlin's beard.... Elias thought as he was brought back to the reality, blushing of embarrassment. How could I be such a fool....what must she think about me now.....no wonder why she excused herself when I uttered strictly forbidden words...Without her heart, I can never ask her to love me in return..sigh.. He put the single memory back in his head and the certain old memories carefully stored in a vial. He skipped breakfast and went immediately to work, where there a surprise awaited him.

He found a neat and lovely basket with delicious looking bread and a carefully wrapped bowl with soup. A note was attached, which read:

Dear Elias,

I must thank you again for last night. It was truly ecstatic and left me wanting to see you again. If you would like to meet me this evening, please send me your reply, including your chosen time and place. If you do not reply by five pm, I will understand it as a no.

Luna

Elias smiled, feeling relieved. So, she excused her last night, not because of what I happened to say but because she was truly tired and needed to rest.

He touched his brooch and send her his reply with his thoughts. Good morning, my dear. With all my pleasure, the night was indeed splendid and wonderful. Thank you for the lovely gift, I appreciate it. Let's meet at Silvery Serpents for dinner at seven o'clock....

He deactivated his brooch and tasted one of the delicious breads for breakfast.

The day went on as usual. The tomato basil cream soup was so delicious that Elias almost felt sleepy. He resisted his urge to put his head at his desk to take a nap and used his wand to magically splash water at his face to keep himself awake. He continued with work until half past six o'clock. He apparated to the luxurious restaurant and ordered a table at the second floor. It was a candlelight table for two were it had an enchanted balcony view and red roses grew alongside the walls and pillars. On the outside of the restaurant it looked like a plain brick-wall though indoors it was romantically decorated for dinner dates.

Luna smiled as she received his telepathic message. Wonderful. Tonight will be most anticipated. She replied, smiling as she touched her brooch. She de-activated it, then continued on with her day as usual. She arrived home at six, and got ready within a few minutes using her mirror.

She used smoke to appear in the lobby of the restaurant, then asked where Elias was sitting. "Yes-' she said patiently to the man behind the desk. "He may go by the name of Mr. Shadowwalker, or Elias Shadowwalker. "

"Ah, yes." he said, taking the opportunity to look her up and down, "Second floor, near the balcony."

She walked away, and found the place Elias was sitting, awaiting her arrival. She smiled and greeted him as she sat down gracefully. "Good evening, Elias."

Elias rose up from his place to greet Luna when she arrived.

"Good evening, Elias," Luna smiled.

"Good evening, my dear," He replied happily. He took a hold her hand gently, kissed it softly and was suddenly feeling so numb to move or speak for several minutes. Unbelievable, am I dreaming?...Yesterday night I literary confessed my feelings to her and yet she wanted to see me today...

"Eehh.." He gave her the menu nervously as he let go of her hand, blushing of embarrassment, because he had been sitting quiet, holding her hand and looking admiringly at her for almost ten minutes. Why I am feeling like I have butterflies in my stomach and being so nervously speechless, this is not the first time we meet...perhaps I am over excited, and wine might calm down my nerves...?

He placed his order at the same time as Luna and his goblet was soon filled with moon rose wine and the food magically appeared at his plates.

He also surprised her with a delicious dessert which did not appear at the table until they had finished the main dishes. He smiled charmingly, hoping that he had chosen the perfect dessert to share with her.

Luna smiled as she placed her order, which appeared quickly and delicately on her plates. She tested her meal for poison, as usual, then enjoyed the meal in silence, except for her usual comments about the food's taste. When they were done she was surprised by a lovely dessert that appeared. He smiled charmingly, and she thanked him as she picked up her fork. "Thank you. This looks like a lovely dessert." She lifted a chocolate covered strawberry to her mouth, before setting it down. "I'm sorry. I was so surprised by the dessert I-" she pulled out her poison testing vial, placing a drop on each berry, then one on the cake as she continued "Forgot to check." She lifted the berry to her mouth again, and took in its lovely scent. It had been a while since she had indulged in chocolate, and hence was looking forward to this. "It is wonderful." she smiled once she had swallowed.

"Thank you. This looks like a lovely dessert." Luna thanked Elias.

"You are welcome," he smiled happily and picked a fork.

He picked a chocolate covered strawberry at the same time as she did and looked a little surprisingly at her when she suddenly put it down.

"I'm sorry. I was so surprised by the dessert I-" she pulled out her poison testing vial, placing a drop on each berry, then one on the cake as she continued "Forgot to check."

"It is allright, my dear.." He chuckled amusingly.

She lifted the berry to her mouth again and took in its lovely scent.

"It is wonderful." she smiled once she had swallowed.

"You are more wonderful, my dear," he smiled charmingly.

He reached out for her free hand, which was not holding the fork, and intertwined his fingers in hers. Now I hope this is enough, I do not need to speak out my feelings foolishly like I did yesterday night, let the mood of this moment to speak for everything I feel...

They eat two strawberries each, slowly, enjoying the lovely scent and taste of the mixture of chocolate and strawberries. The magical candles flickered slightly and somewhere someone was playing a serene and touching music. I wish I could stop the time, I do not want this romantic evening to end.. He thought when they both tasted the chocolate heart. They ate slowly, enjoying the lovely taste of the soft chocolate heart. It was filled with dark and soft semisweet chocolate filling, covered with white chocolate. Elias ate a smaller half of the chocolate heart, literally letting Luna have a bigger half since he knew that she loved chocolate. When they had finished the dessert, he checked his pocket watch and noticed it was only ten o'clock. The table was now only scattered with rose petals and roses, the magical candles were still burning, and the goblets were once again magically filled with moon rose wine, which he in beforehand had planned so that Luna won't leave him immediately after the dinner.

"Luna, I.....Would you like to spend a weekend with me in Paris, perhaps the next coming weekend?" He finally managed to ask her, which he had been practicing asking her whenever he was alone in front of the mirror in his room at the manor. It did not matter how much he had been practicing with this certain speech, still he was feeling very nervous though the butterflies in his stomach were numb thanks to the wine. Seemingly it was easier to speak to a mirror than to her. He almost held his breath as he waited for her answer.

"You are more wonderful, my dear," he smiled charmingly.

She smiled modestly at his comment. The coward has turned courageous now, has he? Perhaps it is the wine? Luna smiled as rose petals replaced the plates, as she decided it would be rude to leave so soon. It was then that Elias uttered words she had not expected, even in her dreams.

"Luna, I.....Would you like to spend a weekend with me in Paris, perhaps the next coming weekend?" he asked charmingly.

Not a dream. . .a nightmare. I am now positive it is the wine. I told him about my heart, about my past, and the way he said it, so confidently. Of course, I have no other choice but to say. . ."Yes." she said, appearing happy and politely excited. She had only hesitated a moment, so all was well. "I would be honored. I have never been to Paris." she smiled modestly "I would be delighted beyond anything you can imagine. So grateful and excited that I cannot express my feelings with words."
I wonder if bringing Nagini would be a bit much? She could stay in the hotel room. . . Since I have never traveled outside London, I would be hesitant to leave Nagini behind. I shall explain this to him, when the time comes.

"Yes." Luna said happily and excitingly. "I would be honored. I have never been to Paris." she smiled modestly "I would be delighted beyond anything you can imagine. So grateful and excited that I cannot express my feelings with words."

Elias' heart almost stopped for a second, almost. His hand slightly shook as he sipped his wine.
"With all my pleasure my dear, thank you so much for accepting my invite," he said happily, with a slight shivering tone in his voice. This is unbelievable...a dream that have almost come true...almost.... "You will love Paris, it is quite different from London.." Elias smiled charmingly, though there was a vague hint of sadness in his eyes. With another normal woman this would have been a romantic trip...but with Luna, who does not have her heart...sigh...love can be so painfully....

He finished his third goblet of wine and it was filled once again, to drink away the unrequited love.

"With all my pleasure my dear, thank you so much for accepting my invite," he said happily, with a slight shivering tone in his voice. "You will love Paris, it is quite different from London.." Elias smiled charmingly.

"I look forward to it." she smiled. She stayed for another half an hour, then gently stood from her chair. "I must leave you now, for I have grown weary." she smiled, as it was already eleven. "I have enjoyed this evening spent in your company. Farewell." She walked away, smiling. She left by smoke once she was outside the exit, and appeared at her home. She slept well that night, and told Nagini everything in the morning whilst preparing for work.

"Paris?" Nagini said. "It that not rumored to symbolize romance, when a couple take a vacation to-"

"Yes, I am aware." Luna said with a sarcastic tone. "However, I am unsure what to do with you. I believe it would, say, send the wrong message to bring the same serpent that assisted in attempted murder to a 'romantic' vacation. I do not wish to leave you alone, whilst I am so far away. " she said, pausing to stroke Nagini, "Smoke manipulation can only get me so far. The only way I could use it to go from Paris to London in a hurry is if I knew about twenty exact locations of places to appear, thus I would not be traveling far any time. That is too complicated. " she picked up her coat and bag on her way out the bedroom door. "We have ample time to ponder the matter-" she finished "So, we shall reach a verdict by Friday."

She left another surprise for Elias in his office today; freshly baked muffins. There were six kinds; two of each: Vanilla, Walnut, Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate, Mixed Berries, and White chocolate and strawberry. Each one was wrapped with a different colored cupcake paper, and she left a note attached explaining which colors were which flavors.

Several weeks passed by and Aislinn spent more and more time with her relatives. She was never at Luna's place thus she was unaware of what had been happening there during her absence. But she did not worry since she thought that Luna was doing well. As time and days passed by Aislinn learned by her grandmother about the past. She would sit with her grandmother by the fireplace in the family room and her grandmother would tell her all the stories about Aislinn's parents. And of course, Aislinn spent a lot of joyous and enjoyable time with her second cousin, almost forgetting that he was vampire.

One evening when Aislinn was sitting with her grandmother in the family room as usual at the same time as Elias was dining with Luna at the Silvery Serpents, her grandmother told her how and why the authority had taken her away.

"It was the wizarding law, according to it, you, as a human, could only be brought up by humans and not vampires and since you were the only human left among us vampires in the family, they said they would put you in a wizarding human family which would take a good care of you.."

"What family? I grew up in an orphanage!" Aislinn exclaimed.

Her grandmother looked shockingly at her. "Ehh...they...I am sure they said the contrary-"

"They must have lied to you or perhaps there was no family who wanted to take care of me back then....oh please do not cry, you don't remember any face or name of those who took me away from you, do you?.....do not worry, I'll take revenge on everyone who has hurt me and my family.."

The next day

Elias arrived early at work, feeling very weary since last night. After he had parted with Luna last night after the lovely dinner date, he had continued drinking wine until midnight. When he woke up in the morning, he noticed that he had consumed a whole bottle. I cannot continue like this thus I have to talk with her soon and resolve things together..there's two paths to choose from and I know that one of them is nearly impossible..... Elias thought as he entered his office. He found a package at his desk and by the note attached to it, he read it was by Luna. He sighed as he opened it and found twelve colorful wrapped muffins, two of different kind of flavor. He closed the package and put it aside. Why does she spoil me so much with gifts...what is her reasons...

"Are you sure you are not tired?" Aislinn asked as she glanced anxiously at Vincent.

"No, I’m fine.." He smiled charmingly, but the black shadows under his eyes and sleepy look of his face did not slip Aislinn.

It was ten o'clock in the morning and she had decided to visit the orphanage where she once had lived, to look for some clues.

"You may wait outside please," she said as she entered but he followed her inside.

To her surprise she did not recognize the caretaker of the orphanage. First, she stared at the middle-aged woman who asked what business Aislinn had in the orphanage today.

"Excuse me, but where's Mrs. Harold?" Aislinn finally managed to ask. "She used to work here..."

"Mrs. Harold retired since seven years ago..."

The same year when I graduated from Hogwarts...

"...and I am sorry, but she passed away last month.."

A dead clue....what the bloody hell

A couple of hours later

Aislinn sat at her favorite place among the ruins outside Knockturn Alley, debating if she should ask the headmistress who once had visited her at the orphanage thirteen years ago.
Vincent was sitting patiently in front of her, though yawning almost every minute.

"Vincent...go home and rest please.." She told him as she lit a cigarette to his astonishment.

"I want to spend time with you...and I don't like that," he said as he snatched away the cigarette from her hand and threw it far away, so it fell in a puddle and fizzled.

"What the bloody hell-"

"You will taste bad!"

Aislinn stared at him for several minutes before replying him: "I do not smoke that often, actually I only do it once a month or I just don't do it for several months, I just do it when I feel to and I was feeling that I needed it right now, so please leave me and my needs alone...by the way what did you mean - taste bad??"

"Eehh, I actually meant you'll smell bad..." Vincent blushed and for a minute there was a certain look in his eyes, something that Aislinn had noticed so many times before when they used to spend some time together.

"So, you do not like to drink blood from a smoker?" Aislinn asked causally as she wanted to find out the truth.

His smile faltered, this time he got much paler than he usually was. He rose up quietly and left without a word. She did not bother herself with chasing him to ask him to explain for her.
Since he did not explain but changed his words, it is useless to persuade him to tell me the truth...I already know that he is uninterested in my blood, not only because I am related to him but I can tell that there's another reason as well, I have no bad feeling about it but it is something which I cannot put my finger on...the same weird feeling which I had at the gala..

During the next three days, Luna and Nagini tried their best to come up with a solution for what to do with Nagini. In the end, they had four options, but only one could work:

~ Leave Nagini with Elias's family. This would both keep Nagini safe, and ensure she wasn't found. Though, it would pose as a burden for the family.
~ Take Nagini along, keeping her both safe, and close. Though, this would send the wrong message, and lead to several possibly awkward situations.
~ Leave Nagini in Aislynn's care. She would be able to remain safe, and have someone to communicate with. However, it may be viewed as a burden on either Aislynn, her family, or both.
~ Leave Nagini at Luna's manor. This would keep her under the enchantments of the house, allow her to hunt freely, and give her the option of using the labyrinth as a backup form of protection. Luna would be away, but Nagini would be safest.

They resolved to continue with the fourth option, and planned on telling Elias that after work. So, she waited until the day was almost done, and used her mirror to ensure she was still in his office, she sent him a patronus.

Elias. Please meet me at my manor around seven. I wish to discuss the details of our trip, if it is not an inconvenience to you. My regards.

It slithered off, and she left to arrive at her manor. She sat down on a bench, and awaited Elias's reply. She confirmed her final decision with Nagini, and before long she received Elias's reply.

Elias was munching on a vanilla flavored muffin, the one of delicious muffins which Luna had given him some days ago, in the midst of his paperwork when he received a Patronus by Luna. They had not been seeing or talking with each other for three days, which gave Elias time to breath out a bit. Though of course he had been thinking of her the entire time.

Elias. Please meet me at my manor around seven. I wish to discuss the details of our trip, if it is not an inconvenience to you. My regards.

He touched his brooch and thought his reply: As you wish, my lady. As soon he finished his work, instead for apparating home as other usual days, he apparate to Luna's manor. He smiled when he saw her and walked over to the bench at where she was sitting.

"Good evening, my dear" He greeted her with a bow with his head and sat down beside her.

"Good evening, Elias." she smiled politely, as Nagini slid off her lap, and slithered away to make herself scarce. "I anticipate our trip more than I can put into words." she began happily "Though there are a few things I have been attempting to. . . hide, whilst I am away. For instance, Nagini." she paused for a moment "Who will remain here, in the safety of this manor's enchantments. Also, the Resurrection Stone, which I will be leaving. Other than those, there is also the matter of transportation. Which manner do you intend to use to transport us from London, to Paris?" Smoke manipulation can only take us so far, as is the same with apparition and brooms. Portkeys can be arranged, or even a magical carriage. However, I am confident that you never intend to use the horrendous Muggle modes, such as airplanes, for our trip. . correct? Luna waited in silence, allowing her thoughts to continue the conversation, though she did not lay a finger on her brooch.

"I have arranged a magical carriage for the travel and of course booked a hotel in advance," Elias replied smilingly. There are actually secret gates, hidden from the muggles, which is used in the wizarding world to travel abroad. These secret gates, some of which work with floo powder, are guarded by the Ministry of Magic. I do not like floo powder, because I never feel comfortable with it and it can be a little difficult to take things you need with you. Whenever I am on a business trip, I use apparition or the secret gates, though for our trip I have a magical carriage, because it is much more comfortable and safer for trips abroad..." Elias paused. And of course, perfect for a romantic date trip to Paris... He thought for himself. "..so if you need to take anything with you, you may do so....We'll be travelling tomorrow Thursday night..." he continued. "I had actually planned to surprise you with the carriage tomorrow heheheh..." he chuckled as he moved closer to her and put his arm around her waist. "Now I won't reveal the rest of the surprise..." He whispered smilingly.

"I look forward to it." she smiled. They sat there for a minute longer, then Luna rose. "Well, I do hope you have a pleasant evening, and rest well. I have packing to do. Farewell." she called as she walked away. She spent an hour packing, managing to fit everything she needed into one trunk , though she would later admit to having used an undetectable extension charm.

The Following Morning

Luna awoke to the thought of the trip, and got through the day, suffering slowly as the anticipation only grew inside her. Finally, she stood up at six, and left for her manor. She stood at the front doors, and summoned her trunk from the upper floors, as Nagini came to bid her farewell. She sat on the same bench as the evening before, Nagini and her luggage at her side. "Good evening, Elias." she smiled when he arrived ten minutes later.

"I look forward to it." Luna smiled. They sat there for a minute longer, and Elias did not mind the silence, on the contrary he was feeling very happy, anticipating the trip, then Luna rose.

"Well, I do hope you have a pleasant evening, and rest well. I have packing to do. Farewell." she called as she walked away.

"Farewell, my Lady."

The following day

Elias packed his best clothes and everything else which he would need, in his trunk. He levitated it down to the front doors where his mother was already standing to bid him farewell.

"Have a safe trip, Elias"

She watched him as he put his trunk in the magical carriage and scaled it down to fit a little black velvet string bag which he hid within his cloak.

"Farwell mother," he said and apparated away.

I actually do not like the idea of this trip. They are not married, not even engaged and he is going to take her to Paris for three days and for what reason? I do not understand. I just hope he is not planning anything inappropriate...I must trust him, I have raised him after all and she, well, she is a very fine girl.....

"Good evening, my lady," Elias greeted Luna smilingly as he arrived.

"Good evening, Elias." she smiled

He took out the black velvet string bag from within his cloak. He opened the string bag and pulled out a tiny carriage which he placed on the ground. He pointed with the tip of his wand at the carriage and mumbled the enlargement charm. A grand shiny and elegant black carriage rose up from the spot. It was oblong with double doors and dark windows. He turned towards Luna and noticed that Nagini was beside the trunk at her side.

"You may take Nagini with you if you wish," He spoke. "I will be fine with that." He smiled. "When I planned the trip, I did not expect you to leave your serpent behind."

He opened the doors of the carriage and levitated her trunk inside. He offered his arm to her and helped her inside the carriage. It was much grander inside than what it looked on the outside. They stood in a dark velvet decorated room with comfortable couches and magical candles which cast a dim light. On the north and south side of the room, where double doors as well.

"There are two bedrooms each one with its own bathroom.," Elias explained. "The one placed in the south side is yours, I already placed your trunk there, and the one on the opposite side is mine. The trip will take several hours, and we won't arrive until sometime around nine o'clock in the morning. And do not worry about the windows here, as you have noticed, they are dark at the outside though transparent on the inside. The windows are magical, they'll allow anyone inside the carriage to view the surroundings outdoors, but none would be able to look inside."

"Good evening, my lady," Elias greeted Luna smilingly as he arrived.

"Good evening, Elias." she smiled. She watched curiously as Elias enlarged the cleverly stored carriage, then placed their luggage inside. "How clever of you." she smiled politely once he was done.

"You may take Nagini with you if you wish," He spoke. "I will be fine with that." He smiled. "When I planned the trip, I did not expect you to leave your serpent behind."

Oh my. It appears I was worried over nothing, as usual. Perhaps he truly doesn't mind? It would save me the headache. "I would feel better if Nagini came along, seeing as you do not mind." she smiled as she took his arm and helped her inside the carriage. She gazed joyously at the grand interior as Elias explained, appreciating that they had their own rooms, and wondering if there was a small kitchen somewhere, only to be slightly disappointed when he finished without mentioning one. Well, it will only take all night. It is not like we will have time to gain any appetite before we arrive. "Lovely." she replied pleasantly, letting go of his arm to examine a black curtain, as Nagini slithered into Luna's bedroom to explore a bit. "Did you choose the decor, or did it come as an additional surprise to you?" she said with a small laugh at the end. I hope I am not over doing it. . .

"Lovely." Luna replied pleasantly, letting go of Elias' arm to examine a black curtain, as Nagini slithered into her bedroom to explore a bit.

Elias smiled as he closed and locked the main doors of the carriage. As long as I can make her happy..... As soon as the main doors were carefully closed and locked, he set the enchantment and the carriage took an unnoticeable flight. It was feeling like the carriage was standing still but the movement of the surroundings outside the windows told the contrary. With a swish of his wand, refreshments, consisting of fruits of the season, assorted biscuits, and tea appeared on the coffee table.

"Did you choose the decor, or did it come as an additional surprise to you?" Luna said with a small laugh at the end.

"No, I did not choose the interior and it was not a surprise to me either," Elias laughed. "This carriage is actually one of my family's carriages." He smiled. "Please sit down, my lady." He said as he took her hand and led her to one of the couches. He poured her hot steaming tea, gave her the cup and placed a plate with fruits and sweets in front of her. I bet she is must be surprised that I am doing these things all by my own instead for having my house-elf with me during the trip, he thought smilingly as he sat down in front of her.

"No, I did not choose the interior and it was not a surprise to me either," Elias laughed. "This carriage is actually one of my family's carriages."

I was not aware that his family owned carriages for personal use.

"Please sit down, my lady." He said as he took her hand and led her to one of the couches. She sat down gracefully as he served her tea and food.

Not relying on someone else to do the work for you, now? Odds are, he thinks it is something resembling a large accomplishment she thought as she smiled pleasantly. "Thank you." she said after she had taken a sip "This is a lovely fragrance." She looked out the window, though all she saw was the dark night air, and a few clouds. She pointed her wand at a pear, and it split itself into eight equal pieces, then the seeds removed themselves, and vanished into thin air. She smiled as she lifted a bit to her mouth, and signed as its lovely, sweet taste spread through her mouth.

"This fruit is different from what I normally purchase. It has been a while since I have had such sweet fruit. "

They conversed lightly until it was around ten, at which time Luna stood, and excused herself, turning to her bedroom. She entered to find a lovely bed, a proper bathroom, and a nightstand, along with more black curtains. She washed and dressed, then lay down to rest. It took her a full hour to sleep, as the excitement made it difficult, but she finally dozed off. In the morning, she awoke and looked out the window to see that they were still in the sky, and found herself slightly disappointed.Well she referenced the time What did I expect at six in the morning? She got ready, and used her mirror to fix her hair and gown. She chose an long black gown, which was flowing and had long poet sleeves embroidered with green beads. Her black hair was transformed into a lovely elegant style:

She went out into the parlor area, and levitated a chair so that she and Nagini could gaze out of the window until Elias woke.

"Thank you." Luna said after she had taken a sip "This is a lovely fragrance."

"You are welcome my dear," Elias smiled as he poured himself a cup of tea. He followed her eyes as she looked out of the window, to share the same view with her. He smiled as he watched her pointing her wand at a pear to split it into eight equal pieces. The seeds vanished by themselves. She smiled as she lifted a bit to her mouth, and signed as its lovely, sweet taste spread through her mouth.

"This fruit is different from what I normally purchase. It has been a while since I have had such sweet fruit. "

"I am glad that you enjoy it, my dear." I wish I could slice off a fruit with such elegance as she did.. Elias thought as he sipped his tea and ate a biscuit. He avoided to eat any fruit because he did not want to embarrass himself with cutting fruits with such clumsiness and he was worried it would not look fine for a man like him to just bite a pear or an apple, realizing how used he was to have a house-elf to do everything for him.

The conversed lightly until it was around ten, at which time Luna stood, and excused herself, turning to her bedroom.

"Good night, my lady."

Elias picked a red sweet apple from the bowl as soon as Luna closed the doors behind her. He took as small bites as possible, hoping that Luna won't try to watch him stealthily. When he finished, he went to rest as well. He was feeling to nervous and excited that he did not fall asleep until sometime after midnight and did not get up before eight o'clock in the morning. He washed and put on his elegant black suit and cloak.

"Good morning, dear, I hope you did rest well?" He greeted Luna, looking at her breathlessly. Good Merlin, as always so beautiful... "You like to the view of the clouds, don't you?" He chuckled as he came closer and stood behind her, to watch the same view from the same window, though noticed that they had left the clouds and was moving downwards until they landed on the cobbled pavement. "Oh, we have arrived," he said excitingly and summoned their trunks.

Elias unlocked and opened the doors.
"Welcome to Paris, my dear," he said charmingly and helped Luna to get out from the carriage. When he had levitated their trunks outside, he shrank the carriage and placed inside the black velvet string bag. They were standing in front of the luxury hotel, Hotel d'Emeraudes.

Elias offered his arm to Luna and they walked inside the hotel with the trunks levitated behind them.

He took out a booking card from an envelope which he pulled out from within his cloak and gave the booking card to a man at the reception desk.

"Bonjour monsieur, Bonjour Madame," the man behind the desk greeted them both gaily in French. He was of course ignorant of that the young beautiful lady in front of him was actually a mademoiselle and thought the customers were a couple here to spend their honeymoon at the hotel.

"Bonjour," Elias replied and thanked as soon as he received a silvery key to the room which he had booked. He smiled towards Luna as he led the way through the hotel. "They have already transferred our luggage to the room," he explained as they took the magical elevator to the fourth floor.

They went further in the corridor and Elias opened the doors to their deluxe suit. "And now to the next surprise, allow me to show you around, my lady," he spoke charmingly as he put his arm around Luna's waist as they entered a grand elegant parlor.

"There are two bedrooms, one with each bathroom. One for you and one for me, heheh and they both look the same and there's a beautiful view over the city.."

"..and oh I forget the balcony view from the parlor.." He chuckled as they walked around in the deluxe suit. He blushed over his own embarrassment for not being good enough at showing around in a place.

When they were back in the parlor, after the breathtaking view of Paris in the balcony, he turned towards her and asked: "Do you like it?" There's a dining room as well.." he said as they walked into another room. "Though no kitchen." he looked at her, hoping that she was not disappointed. "The hotel has its own restaurant and provides meals for both breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Well, ehhmm..." A delicious French breakfast appeared on the dining table.

He drew out a chair for her before he sat down in front of her.

"Bon appetite, my dear," he smiled charmingly.

"Good morning, dear, I hope you did rest well?" He greeted Luna.

"Quite well, thank you." she said, taking her eyes of the window to properly greet him. "I hope you did as well."

"You like to the view of the clouds, don't you?" He chuckled as he came closer and stood behind her, gazing out of the window with her.

"It passes the time, and I do find it soothing." she smiled. She watched excitedly as they began their descent, and found herself more excited than she had been in a very long time.

"Oh we have arrived," he said excitingly and summoned their trunks.

Luna summoned a coat she had laid on her bed, and Nagini slithered onto her shoulders discreetly, and she obscured her with her coat.

"Welcome to Paris, my dear," he said as he helped Luna out from the carriage.

Luna walked with him inside the hotel, speechlessly enjoying the scenery. She waited patiently as Elias checked them in, ignoring the man's French speech. I do not speak French, only English and Japanese. I wonder what Elias would say if he was aware. The looks this man is giving us, she eyed the concierge politely, gives me the feeling he assumes we are a couple. How comical.

"Bonjour," Elias replied and thanked the man as he received their room key.

"They have already transferred our luggage to the room," he explained as they took the magical elevator to the fourth floor.

"Efficient service is of course expected." she said absentmindedly as she gazed out the glass elevator at the scenery outside.

"And now to the next surprise, allow me to show you around, my lady," he spoke charmingly as he put his arm around Luna's waist as they entered a grand elegant parlor.

His hand at my waist again. I wonder if I will get used to it soon?

As soon as the door opened, she smiled at the thought of how much it would all cost, while still being surprised by the decent decor. She hadn't expected the French to have decent taste, but more posh and over-bearing sorts of preferences.

"There are two bedrooms, one with each bathroom. One for you and one for me, heheh and they both look the same and there's a beautiful view over the city.."

Thank goodness! Separate bedrooms, separate bathrooms, nothing to worry about at all.

Luna took off her coat as she listened to his explanation, and Nagini left, exploring on her own, though of course remaining in their suite.

"..and oh I forget the balcony view from the parlor.." He chuckled as they walked around in the deluxe suit.

Luna went to the parlor window and stared out at their view, before Elias spoke.

"Do you like it?" There's a dining room as well.." he said as they walked into another room. "Though no kitchen."

"These accommodations are so lovely." she smiled "I was worried the French would have the worst taste in the world. Gold silk curtains and paisley pink and blue pillows." she joked. I am sure I could take a break from cooking, since Paris is world-renown for food.

"The hotel has its own restaurant and provides meals for both breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Well, ehhmm..." A delicious French breakfast appeared on the dining table.

She smiled at the elegant breakfast laid out for them, and turned to him before sitting down. "My inexplicable gratitude. I feel more excited than I have in quite a while."

He drew out a chair for her before he sat down in front of her.

Bon apatite, my dear," he smiled charmingly, and Luna smiled with equal charm.

"One moment, if you please-" she said, slightly embarrassed, as she made for her bedroom. She returned a moment later, holding her poison-testing vial. She placed a drop on everything, before levitating it back to her room whilst apologizing. "Apologies for the delay. " she sat down to eat, and took a sip of water before beginning on the exquisite meal. "Do you speak French? " she said, mildly interested where and why he had learned it "I know nothing of French, but I do speak fluent Japanese. No one knows of that. I learned when I studied in Tokyo.. . it is where I learned cooking with magic. The Japanese have the finest schools for that subject, though most classes and spells are taught in Japanese, making it nearly impossible for someone unfamiliar with it to learn. "

"It is allright, my dear. Caution and prudence are of course important, I was already expecting that you would use the potion as usual." Elias replied smilingly and tasted a delicious croissant.

"Do you speak French? " she said. "I know nothing of French, but I do speak fluent Japanese. No one knows of that. I learned when I studied in Tokyo.. . it is where I learned cooking with magic. The Japanese have the finest schools for that subject, though most classes and spells are taught in Japanese, making it nearly impossible for someone unfamiliar with it to learn. "

"Woah, I am so impressed," he exclaimed surprisingly. "Japanese must be a challenging language to learn, mustn't it? I have always been curious about the world and its different languages thus I’ve done some research at every possible language I could find. I found languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Hindustani and Arabic quite amusing because they have different kind of written language, but I did not put any time or energy on learning any of that kind. And I have only been in Europe and Middle East. I had a tutor who taught me French during my summer holidays and I also spent three years, employed as a professor to teach English, at Beauxbatons Academy after my graduation. My parents actually considered first to send me to Beauxbatons when I was eleven years old though they decided that Hogwarts would suit me better. And I was grateful of that because later I found that Beauxbatons is a very snobby school, not quite of my taste, though I liked to learn French in a different kind of way. When the tutor taught me the language, it was mostly about to memorize words, vocabulary, understand the grammar and how to pronounce the words. At Beauxbatons, on the contrary, I got the opportunity to use the French language. So that is how I know French."

"Hmm." Luna said with a slightly interested face, as she swallowed a bite of fruit salad. "I find that interesting. I can both speak, and write Japanese. I learned it all on my own, whilst using a Japanese textbook. It took me a year to learn it through and through." When they finished eating, Luna raised her wand to clear up, before she remembered that they were at a hotel, and there was also no kitchen to send them to. Instead, she turned to Elias, who had also risen, and asked him politely "What would you like to do first? Since I am unfamiliar with this place, perhaps you could show me your favorite places?"
