"Stay away from these sweets? you almost make me laugh," Lily giggled. "I can never resist sweets, especially these delicious chocolates..."

"Lily is such a sweet tooth hehe.." her mother commented and then turned towards her daughter: "but you should be a little careful with sweets, dear, to much is not good for your skin and health.."

"Yes Mama, that is if you mean sugar, though chocolate is actually good for you and it makes you feel happy hehe..." Lily replied her mother modestly and then turned towards Luna: "I love all kind of sweets and desserts, though I am trying to not eat too much of them, though I feel that I can never have enough of chocolate, because it is so soothing. I feel it something magical with chocolate. Chocolate....well..eehh..I think only women understand this magical feeling about chocolate and value it truly, it is like chocolate is made for us ladies....teheheh..."

Elias rolled his eyes. Merlin's beard.....

"You are quite hilarious," her father chuckled.

"...chocolate...it is like a love story," Lily finally finished her silly speech.

Her parents laughed heartily.

"Well..." Lily spoke once more. " A rich dessert, I think I am...."

"...not that ready," her mother interfered kindly. "What about you two?" addressing both her husband and son at the same time.

"I feel need to digest the delicious lunch, my dear."

"I have not an appetite for a dessert at the moment, mother, perhaps an hour later" Elias replied modestly and then turned his attention towards Luna and said smilingly: "..since it is something rich I'd prefer to enjoy it with a clean palate.."

Lily looked a little disappointed at her family first, but then she got an idea and changed her mind.

"I don't like to sit down but prefer to take a walk when I digest my food, mind to show me around in your lovely house, please?" She asked Luna kindly.

Elizabeth looked shockingly at her daughter and then with an excusing look at Luna.
I never ask the owners of the house to show me around in their house when I am a guest at them. It is different if they offer to show me around...Lily is a little to bold and impolite...

"...chocolate...it is like a love story," Lily finally finished her silly speech.

Luna smiled sweetly at Lily's silly explanations. "I agree that even ladies should indulge in chocolate. However, I do so in moderation. "

"I don't like to sit down but prefer to take a walk when I digest my food, mind to show me around in your lovely house, please?" Lily asked Luna kindly.

Elizabeth looked shockingly at her daughter and then with an excusing look at Luna.

Luna was surprised, since she hadn't been expecting it at all. However, she thought it would be a kind idea. "I think that would be such a lovely idea." she said charmingly to Lily, offering Lily her hand. "Would anyone else like to join us, or would you like to remain resting?" she said kindly, with no hints that she minded showing Lily around.

Lily smiled happily as she stood up and took Luna's hand.

"Would anyone else like to join us, or would you like to remain resting?" Luna said kindly.

"I would like to join please," Elizabeth replied as she stood up as well, though her reason was to keep an eye on her daughter. She had actually no interest to look in every room and she did not care that much of being showed around.

"I'd prefer to take some fresh air," Alexander spoke, kindly declining the offer of being showed around in the manor.

"And I'll be joining my father," Elias said, feeling that it was unnecessary to have Luna to show him around since he already knew most of the rooms of her manor and how to navigate indoors.

"Very well" Luna said politely. "Let us continue." she smiled, gesturing to the door. She gave Lily and Elizabeth a tour of the library first. "Be sure to borrow any book you wish. However, you won't find anything besides spell books and history books in here." she smiled. She then led them to the staircase, as they noticed the Gothic, elegant design Luna's style usually took. The main staircase led them to a landing, where another two staircases lead in either direction; left or right. "To the left and right are bedrooms, three to each side. The left are currently unoccupied, and hence quite uninteresting. To the right, however-" she gestured as she began climbing the right staircase "Is mine." She stopped at the door of her room, pausing to decide what to do with Nagini. "A moment, if you please." she said, opening the door and politely closing it behind her. She quietly allowed Nagini to wrap around her arm, and then she disappeared in smoke, quickly transporting them to the center of the maze. She left her there, then appeared back in her bedroom, all within half a minute. She opened the door, and let them in. Everything was neatly folded and placed, looking as if someone had done spring cleaning. She kept it this way every day, liking order as opposed to a mess, though she doubted she was as annoying about it as the deceased Hermione Granger. A brief tour of the kitchen came next, which, by the time they arrived, was sparkling. Instead of a Muggle fridge, she had a large, wooden cupboard, upon which, she explained, had cast a cooling spell to keep the contents cold. The oven need only to be magically lit with fire, and once dished were washed, they were simply replaced in their proper places, leaving plenty of counter space. Luna then decided to show them the labyrinth, and lead them outside so that she could give the tour to the entire family. "I hope I have not bored you." she said politely. "However, I have saved the best for last." she smiled as she approached Elias and Alexander, who were in the middle of a discussion. "We are almost complete with our tour." she smiled. "However, I would like you all to partake in the finale. " She led them through the labyrinth, explaining as they went. "So, any outsiders will get lost attempting to leave, and the center is the most extraordinary part-" They had reached the center, and she gestured to the grass clearing. "Welcome." she said proudly. At first, it was clear that they were a bit confused as to why a grass clearing was so special, but she had intended them to have that reaction. She took one step onto the grass of the clearing, and the flooring immediately changed from grass to sparkling, emerald green marble. Silver pillars replaced the hedges, with more lovely purple, white, and black roses wrapped around them. She turned to see their amazed expressions, and finished her explanation. "It works similar to the infamous Room of Requirement at Hogwarts." she said joyously.

"Very well" Luna said politely. "Let us continue." she smiled, gesturing to the door.

Together they went to the library

"Ohh..." Lily made sure to take in every view of the grand and beautiful library with its rich books. And of course touching everything she could.

"Be sure to borrow any book you wish. However, you won't find anything besides spell books and history books in here." Luna smiled.

"Thank you," Lily laughed. "Though I'll pass today, I had enough of reading and studying at Hogwarts...perhaps when I miss reading one day tehehe..." She caressed every book spine, the shelves, the couches and sofas. She sat down everywhere to feel every seat. She even walked over to the windows, touching the silky and velvet draperies and curtains. And she even touched the windows, careless if she left finger prints on the them or not. She even let the tip of her fingers touch the walls as she walked around in the library.

Elizabeth only nodded kindly and gave the titles of the books a quick look. She was not in mood of reading. She was looking at her daughter annoyingly and feeling very ashamed, wishing that she could stop touch everything. Lily has grown up in a rich and noble family where we have lived and still live in luxury with elegant and beautiful furniture, I do not understand why she is being like someone who comes from the poor and has never seen or touched anything like these things. If she wants to learn cooking with magic, she has to take an extra year at Hogwarts. I won't send her here, no matter how disappointed she would be. She would only be a nuisance to Miss Lestrange..

They continued to the staircase of the gothic and elegant style. The main staircase led them to a landing, where another two staircases lead in either direction; left or right.

Lily looked at every gothic detail with big round eyes and of course touching everything she could of the staircase.

"To the left and right are bedrooms, three to each side. The left are currently unoccupied, and hence quite uninteresting. To the right, however-" Luna gestured as she began climbing the right staircase "Is mine."

She stopped at the door of her room and said: "A moment, if you please." She opened the door and politely closed it behind her. A minute later she opened the door, and let them in. Everything was neatly folded and placed, looking as if someone had done spring cleaning.

Lily walked in and her mother followed awkwardly after her. Elizabeth tried to hold herself the best she could as she impatiently watched how unpolite her daughter was acting. Lily sat down on the bed, caressing the soft and silky bed sheets. When she rose up from the bed, she had created wrinkles everywhere at it. She touched every cupboard and furniture, the curtains, windows. She was very curious and wanted to open every cupboard and peek inside them, but a very severe and angry look by her mother advised her from not opening anything.

A brief tour of the kitchen came next, which, by the time they arrived, was sparkling. Instead of a muggle fridge, Luna had a large, wooden cupboard, upon which, she explained, had cast a cooling spell to keep the contents cold. The oven need only to be magically lit with fire, and once dished were washed, they were simply replaced in their proper places, leaving plenty of counter space.

As usual Lily touched everything in the kitchen. The cupboards, the oven, the table, the chairs. She also took a seat at every chair, much to her mother's annoyance. She was about to open the large wooden cupboards when her mother cleared her throat. She turned around to face her and once again she was met by her mother's severe eyes and face which was white of fury.

Luna then decided to show them the labyrinth, and lead them outside so that she could give the tour to the entire family.

"I hope I have not bored you." she said politely. "However, I have saved the best for last." she smiled.

"Not at all, my dear, I thank you for taking us on this lovely tour though I must apologize if my daughter have been to any nuisance to you," Elizabeth replied politely as they walked over to where her husband and son where standing and having a light conversation.

"We are almost complete with our tour." Luna smiled. "However, I would like you all to partake in the finale. "

"So, you saved an extraordinary surprise for us everyone," Alexander smiled. "How sweet of you, dear, I can absolutely not decline." He chuckled.

Luna led them through the labyrinth, explaining as they went.

"So, any outsiders will get lost attempting to leave, and the center is the most extraordinary part-"

As they walked, Lily looked at every hedge, which they passed by, with big round eyes. She also touched the green leaves, snatching them of their branches as she passed by and sprinkled the leaves so, they created a tail after her at the ground. Others who did not knew her, might had thought that she created a track which she could follow back if she got lost in a labyrinth. She was actually not, on the contrary she was just playing as usual. Elizabeth lost her patience when she heard how Lily was snatching leaves from the branches of the hedges and took a hold of her hand-wrist so she could keep her close to her in the middle of the path.

When they had reached the center Luna gestured to the grass clearing.

"Welcome." she said proudly.

"Thank you..." Elizabeth replied uncertainly and releasing her daughter.

Alexander looked confusingly around wondering why a grass clearing was so special. Elias grew a little awkward as he looked around. Lily squeaked when she saw something quick slithering away, rounding the corner of a hedge. Within a second it was out of her view.

"I saw something...!" she finally managed to speak.
"What did you see?" her mother asked annoyingly.
"I think it was a grand giant snake..."
"I did not see anything, did you two see any snake?" Elizabeth asked both her husband and son at the same time, feeling confused ad annoyed at the same time.

"I did not see any of that kind, my dear," Alexander replied confusingly as he looked around, clearly that he had not seen anything at all.

"Snake? No, I did not see any one at all, mother" Elias replied calmly, speaking the truth since he had not seen anything but knew deep inside that it must have been Nagini which his sister had spotted all of sudden.

"But...I saw it.." Lily protested. "It was so grand...perhaps it is a basilisk hiding in this labyrinth to eat up intruders?" She smiled towards Luna, hoping that she had right about her theory.

"Enough Lily! You are not a child to make up things. Foremost only one basilisk existed at Salazar Slytherin's time and was locked inside somewhere in a secret place at Hogwarts..." Elizabeth said, not caring of hiding the hint of annoyance in her voice anymore.

"..and it was later found out by the infamous Potter who killed it during his second year," Elias filled in, rolling his eyes. "We have both read about that in our history books, Lily. And there's no existing basilisks anymore..."

Lily remained silent, feeling disappointed that they had not seen what she had seen.

Luna took one step onto the grass of the clearing, and the flooring immediately changed from grass to sparkling, emerald green marble. Silver pillars replaced the hedges, with more lovely purple, white, and black roses wrapped around them.

"It works similar to the infamous Room of Requirement at Hogwarts." she said joyously as she turned around to face them.

Lily almost forgot what she had seen earlier and was amazed by the fantastic view she was now facing. She strode to every pillar, touching and almost hugging them. She touched the marbled floor. She touched the roses.

"What a lovely surprise you gave us," Elizabeth said kindly.

"Indeed, thank you so much," Alexander praised Lily and then continued: "That is quite interesting, a Room of Requirement...." he looked at his wife. She immediately understood, like she had been reading his thoughts. Creating one at our place? Lily would get stuck there forever and hence it is out of question..

Elias looked surprisingly around.
Of all the time I have been here before, I never knew anything of this...but this is not everything...I remember a secret door which lead inside the manor from the center of the labyrinth....but when we entered the center, it was only a grass clearing and a memorial stone, which I did not have time to look closer at it now. The glass clearing is gone..and so is the memorial stone.....Oh now I understand...that secret door was created with the room of requirement...

"But...I saw it.." Lily protested. "It was so grand...perhaps it is a basilisk hiding in this labyrinth to eat up intruders?" She smiled towards Luna, hoping that she had right about her theory.

"I'm afraid there are no creatures within this labyrinth." she smiled, like a mother telling a child that dogs couldn't fly.

"What a lovely surprise you gave us," Elizabeth said kindly.

"Indeed, thank you so much," Alexander praised Luna and then continued: "That is quite interesting, a Room of Requirement...." he looked at his wife.

"When I read the in history, about the infamous Room of Requirement, I couldn't help but feel it had gone to waste. It was then that I decided to have one for myself. Please feel free to transform it in any way you wish. " she smiled, gesturing to the air to their left, where lovely polished black-walnut chairs appeared. "The only limit is your imagination." She strode over to where Lily was examining the pillar to the far side of the clearing. "Lily" she said politely "Would you mind coming with me to get dessert and tea?" she smiled harmlessly. "I could use some help, if you don't mind". She strode out of the entrance in which they had come, with an over-excited Lily be her side. "We shall re-join you in a moment, with tea and dessert." she smiled politely to Lily's parents as they left.

Alexander nodded happily at Luna, clearly not minding that Lily would help her with bringing the dessert and tea. Elizabeth was to amazed about the Room of Requirement that she did not notice her daughter walking away.

"Lily?...Lily?..where did she go?" Elizabeth looked confusingly around after a while.

"She went together with Miss Lestrange to prepare dessert and tea, my dear, they will be back soon," Alexander smiled unconcerned.

"What did you say? How did that happen? Lily should not run around here by her own-"

"Do not worry dear, there is nothing here to harm her and besides do you not trust Miss Lestrange? She is our future daughter-in-law after all.."

"Of course I trust her! But Lily is shameless and unpolite..."

Elias remained silent. He looked down at his hands as he was sitting at the chair, letting his hair to fall like drapery around his face to hide his red face. He was half-listening to his mother who was complaining about Lily's insolent behavior. My parents are to hopeful about this...I have not proposed to Luna or asked her for a date..not confessed my feelings and love for her, all I promised her was to serve her as a loyal deatheater and to be by her side whenever she needed me....and they do not know the truth about her....

"...you did not see her, Alex, she could not keep her fingers off anything..."

"Heheh, she is just a curious and sweet girl, I do not think that she is rude. She has never been rude in her life. You know how nice and sweet she can be, besides I think she is just feeling over-excited and over-joyous about seeing Miss Lestrange today. Our daughter is very fond of her, so allow her to enjoy her time to the fullest here, please."

"...but this does not mean it is allright for her to snatch out leaves from the hedges and scatter them around...she is seventeen years old after all...not a four year old-"

"..and you know very well that it's an old habit by her, Eliza. Have you forgotten how she behaves in our own garden when she is home for Easter and Summer breaks?"

"No I have not forgotten, but-"

"No buts and lets drop this discussion, please and thank you"

"As you wish..."

"So what else, of course nicely, shall we discuss, darling?" Alexander asked after a moment of silence.

"You may pick the subject.." Elizabeth replied and then turned towards her son. "You are not sleeping, Elias, are you?"

Interrupted in his thoughts, Elias looked up surprisingly at his mother.

"No, I was just thinking, mother." He smiled.

"Why is the color of your face scattered in red and white colors? Are you ill?"

"No, I am allright, mother, as I said I was just thinking.."

"Or perhaps he had to much wine at lunch, Eliza, now can we discuss something nicely and carefree please?"

"Of course, as you wish..."

As soon as they turned a corner, Luna stopped walking, and held out her hand for Lily to hold. "Here-" she smiled "This will save time". Lily took her hand, and Luna used smoke manipulation to transport them both to the kitchen. "Is it not much better than apparition?" she said, still smiling. She went to the cooling cupboard, and pulled out a lovely chocolate ganache tart, much to Lily's delight. She then summoned two small bars of chocolate; one white, and one milk, and grated them atop the tart before cutting it into eight pieces. She magically grated them atop the tart, then cut it into eight lovely pieces, setting five onto individual plates, which flew onto a silver serving tray, where tea cups and a matching tea pot were waiting. She placed tea leaves in the tea pot, then water which began boiling immediately. The water became peaceful once more, and the tea was made. She added cream, and sugar to the tray, along with delicate forks. The silverware, plates, teacups, pot, and tray all had small, glittering green serpents coiling around the handles, giving them an elegant design. All of her preparations took, or course, only two minutes, in which she moved with equal grace and speed. "Lily, I admire your openness and honesty." she smiled as she turned to Lily "You don't care what people will think, you simply do as you wish. " she began walking toward the front door with the tray levitating effortlessly behind her. "For that reason, I have the desire to spend more time with you. We must convince your mother that you take cooking with magic seriously enough to wish to have me teach you."

"You do wish to learn it, correct?" she said politely, though her voice showed hints of 'or were you not being serious at all?'. They walked back to the center of the labyrinth, talking as they went. They reached it, and with a quick reference to her watch, Luna realized it had only been ten minutes since they had left the center.

Is it not much better than apparition?" Luna said smilingly.

"It was....it was...amazing.." Lily said, feeling taken aback of the different way of apparating away.

She sat down while Luna pulled out a lovely chocolate ganache tart from the cooking cupboard, much to her delight. This time, Lily sat calmly as she watched Luna to work with the preparations, politely and silently without touching anything. She admired, not only the way Luna moved around and worked with such grace and speed, but also the beautiful silverware.

"Lily, I admire your openness and honesty." Luna smiled as she turned to Lily "You don't care what people will think, you simply do as you wish." Luna began walking toward the front door with the tray levitating effortlessly behind her. Lily, who blushed by Luna's praise, followed her out of the kitchen. "For that reason, I have the desire to spend more time with you. We must convince your mother that you take cooking with magic seriously enough to wish to have me teach you. You do wish to learn it, correct?"

"Honestly, I have never wished before to learn cooking at all," Lily replied politely. "I grew up in a noble and rich family where I did not need to do anything but having a house-elf to take care of everything for us. Even if I have been a little curious about the kitchen since I’ve been a child and messed up the whole kitchen in attempt to bake a birthday cake for my brother, pride took later over me when I saw it was only the Hufflepuffs who learned cooking with magic when I started my first year at Hogwarts. Today I first thought you had a house-elf who took care of everything for you. I was so surprised and amazed when I discovered the contrary. You inspire me a lot, so when I said earlier today that I wanted to learn cooking like you, I was serious about it. I would be very happy to spend more time with you. I do not want to take extra years at Hogwarts because I am not that fond of reading study books. I only love to read novels, romantic stories and fictions, where I can get lost in a fantasy world and just daydream about it tehehe. Anyway, I think it would be more fun to learn cooking with magic with you and I’m so grateful that you are willing to teach me. I appreciate your kindness and sweetness. Sadly my mother is very difficult to convince, it is nearly impossible, but if my father gives me permission to spend time with you after my graduation then my mother won't be able to oppose my wish..."

Alexander smiled gaily as he saw his daughter coming back with Luna who was holding a tray.
"See, my dear, it was all about preparations of tea and dessert," he spoke to his wife.

Elizabeth rose up from her chair and strode towards Luna.
"Please excuse me if my daughter was to your nuisance. She can be laborious sometimes," she said as she looked embarrassed at Luna, feeling ashamed over how her daughter had behaved today.

"Not at all." Luna said politely as she levitated everyone a slice of tart, and a steaming tea cup. The tea pot was placed in the center, along with the cream and sugar, before she vanished the tray, and sat down herself. "Actually, Lily is not a bother to me at all. On the contrary; I admire how honest she is. She could care less what people think, she simply does what she wishes. " she paused to take a sip of tea "Furthermore, I have a desire to see more of her. " she took another sip, then placed her tea cup back in its saucer. "I would like to ask for your permission to give her Cooking with Magic lessons. " She waited politely for the reply, as everyone filled in with comments about the heavenly tart.

Elias looked at Luna as he sipped his tea and enjoyed the dessert silently. Why did she say that there's no creature existing in the labyrinth when my sister spotted Nagini? Is she hiding her snake from my family? if so, then why? I do not like the idea that she is hiding simple things from my family. I understand that the story about her heart is a secret and must stay as a secret. But a snake, seriously....it is not even a basilisk after all...besides there's another missing part, which I have been pondering about since the gala.......

"Lily may of course do as she wish," Alexander replied kindly, feeling proud over how Miss Lestrange praised his daughter. "If she wish to take an extra year at Hogwarts to learn cooking with magic or if she would like to come over at your place instead-.."

"..But not until after her graduation!" Elizabeth interfered.

"Of course, not until after her graduation," Alexander agreed smilingly.

So, I have about three months to clear out things with Luna, seems to be plenty of time... Elias thought as he sipped his tea. If she is still persistent and does not answer my questions truthfully, then I either have to come up with good reasons that will keep Lily away from Luna's place or I have to guard my sister....

"So I'll see Luna everyday, after my graduation?" Lily said gaily and giggled of excitement.

"I was thinking twice or thrice a week." Luna said politely to Lily "I will still have work to do." she smiled. Once they finished their dessert, Luna stood to clear the table. She levitated all of the dishes onto the tray once more, and left, politely explaining that she would be right back. Turning a corner, then disappearing into smoke, she left the dishes to wash themselves, then summoned her enormous gift box. I would like to introduce them to Nagini, but I fear they may think I am following my Father's footsteps. . . keeping a lovely, large serpent, also named. . . She shook her head, reminding herself she had chosen to hide Nagini for a good reason, and wouldn't change her mind now. She arrived at the same place she had vanished, then walked back to where they were waiting , proudly levitating the large box behind her. She placed it in the middle of the table, and magically opened it. Out from the box flew streamers and confetti, colored in black, purple, and white once more. They didn't settle to the floor, but soared back up into the air to fall again. She levitated each of them their gift; Lily's, Elizabeth's, and Alexander's. Elias, however, did not receive one. "I apologize, Elias." Luna said genuinely "I had no perception of a gift you would enjoy, thus I decided to not embarrass myself with a pathetic attempt." she forced a smile, which became real once she saw everyone else's happy reactions to their gifts. Lily received two lovely, leather-bound journals, each bearing the Slytherin crest. A note attached explained that anything written in one would appear in the other, hence a bond that would allow free communication. Alexander received an elegant pocket watch, with a shimmering green background, silver Roman numerals, and emeralds embedded into the frame surrounding the face, and a chain, also made of silver. Elizabeth's was a gorgeous painting of herself. Light reflected from her eyes and hair, making her look so beautiful she almost didn't recognize herself. Luna walked over to where Elizabeth was admiring the picture, and said softly. "It is strange how humans forget their own inner beauty. I hope you found this as lovely as I did." The painting was only the size of a standard text book, but for such a small thing, it gave so much light and hope. The colors reacted so well, anyone would find it exquisite. She took a seat, hoping everyone was satisfied.

"I was thinking twice or thrice a week." Luna said politely to Lily "I will still have work to do." she smiled.

"Sure," Lily replied gaily. "I'll be available from the first July and you may plan which days we can meet in beforehand and send me a letter about it please." She grinned happily as her father caressed her head lovingly.

Once they finished their dessert, Luna stood to clear the table. She levitated all of the dishes onto the tray once more, and left, politely explaining that she would be right back. She came back with a large giftbox. She placed it in the middle of the table, and magically opened it. Out from the box flew streamers and confetti, colored in black, purple, and white once more.

"Oohh..." Lily watched the confetti with big round eyes and managed to catch some before they
soared back up into the air to fall again. Luna levitated each of them their gift; Lily's, Elizabeth's, and Alexander's. Elias, however, did not receive one.

"I apologize, Elias." Luna said genuinely "I had no perception of a gift you would enjoy, thus I decided to not embarrass myself with a pathetic attempt." she smiled.

Elias smiled slyly. He pretended to adjust his suit as he took his chance and actually touched his brooch while his family were to occupied with their gifts to notice anything strange.
I do not wish anything material as a gift but your honesty, Luna.....Why are you hiding it? My family does not know what happened between us before the battle and they think I received my scars in a duel in order to protect you. You won't be able to hide your snake anymore...my sister spotted it today and she might discover it sooner or later....and she'll be so disappointed if she found out that she had been right about seeing a snake in the labyrinth the first time...

Elias looked at his sister who happily examined her gifts. She turned towards him and grinned.
"I want to try this out with you, Eli, tehehe.." She was about to give him one of the notebooks when she remembered that she did not have her quill and ink with her. "..when we are back home heheh..." she smiled excusing as she caressed the leathered notebooks and turned on every leaf and smelled them both, before she put them back in her box. She turned towards her father and asked him if she could look at his gift. He smiled at her as he handed over the beautiful pocket watch to her. She admired it for a while, caressing it softly before handing it back to him.
"It is so beautiful, Papa."

Elizabeth stared astonished and amazed at her gift which was a gorgeous painting of herself.

The colors reacted so well, anyone would find it exquisite."

"It is...it is...truly amazing..." Elizabeth spoke breathlessly as she looked up at Luna. She tried to say something more, but the lovely picture of her had made her totally speechless.

They thanked Luna for her generosity and sweetness and told her how much they appreciated her kindness. They were grateful about their gifts and they felt they could not thank her enough.

"So what about the next little slithering surprise, Luna?" Elias spoke slyly as Luna sat down.

"What?" Lily giggled as she looked excitingly at her brother and then at Luna.

Luna adjusted her dress slightly, touching her brooch as well. I understand they have no knowledge of Nagini. However, I instructed her to hide for a reason. It is clear that my father also had a snake, and it was also named Nagini. Anyone would see that he and I share that likeness, which might make them curious as to what other things he and I share. I do not want them thinking I am like him! she finished nervously. She de-activated her brooch, then sat down. "I am overjoyed that you all appreciated your gifts to their fullest extent. I was ever so worried that I had gotten you the wrong things." she said modestly.

"So what about the next little slithering surprise, Luna?" Elias spoke slyly as Luna sat down.

"What?" Lily giggled as she looked excitingly at her brother and then at Luna.

Luna looked uncomfortable for a second. I explained to him my reasons! This fool thinks he can over-step boundaries now? I will teach him a lesson! I will tell them the truth; who Nagini is, and why I have kept her a secret. Surely, they will reject us both, thus Elias will see that no one will accept me at all. We shall see, my bold friend, how much your confidence wavers! Luna smiled after the second, and stood once more, addressing them all in a formal and apologetic tone. "I am afraid I haven't been completely honest with you. " she paused "The creature seen in this clearing earlier was not a figment of Lily's imagination, but in reality; a serpent. " she paused, and called Nagini, who came a second later, shyly at first. "She is my oldest friend, named Nagini." Nagini bowed her head respectfully, but remained far away, remaining cautious. "I told her to remain hidden, because I feared that you would think me alike my Father. " Nagini came slightly closer, now six feet away from Luna's chair. "However, Elias has known, and he persuaded me that you would understand, rather than reject." she paused, looking down, awaiting the chastising and angry comments. The rejection and misunderstanding that usually went to Luna when she showed even the slightest resemblance to her Father.

Luna smiled and stood once more, addressing them all in a formal and apologetic tone.

"I am afraid I haven't been completely honest with you. " she paused "The creature seen in this clearing earlier was not a figment of Lily's imagination, but in reality; a serpent. "

"Ohh....." Lily stood up as well. " I was right after all.." She giggled of excitement. "So, you knew all along..." She looked curiously at her brother and noticed that something was slithering towards them in the corner of her eye. She turned her attention towards the snake, which bowed its head respectfully. "Aaahhh..."

"She is my oldest friend, named Nagini." Luna spoke.

"Nagini..." Lily said. "Such a cute name, it is a female, isn't it?" Lily giggled.

"I told her to remain hidden, because I feared that you would think me alike my Father. " Luna explained. Nagini came slightly closer, now six feet away from Luna's chair. "However, Elias has known, and he persuaded me that you would understand, rather than reject." Luna looked down.

"She is cute..." Lily giggled. "May I pet her?" She did not wait for Luna to reply and boldly approached Nagini. She kneeled down on the grass and caressed the snake on its shiny back. "Aahh..it is a chill and soft feeling.." she giggled.

Elizabeth was very disappointed with her son. She looked sternly at him for several seconds. I have put so much time in bringing up my son to treat women with respect and dignity and yet he acts imprudently and shamelessly towards Miss Lestrange....

She turned towards Luna as she stood up and raised her chin, so the young lady was looking into her eyes.
"My dear, please excuse me for my son's rudely behavior. He has not the right to persuade you into anything..." Elizabeth paused for a moment as she looked apologetically at Luna.

"Elias can be a little to bold sometimes," Alexander chuckled but gave his son a very severe and cold look.

"I understand your reasons in hiding your serpent," Elizabeth continued as she took Luna by her hands, pulled her gently down in her chair as she sat down beside her. "Your father was a special man after all" She chuckled. " And I do not see any concerns with if you keep a pet with the same name. You are actually quite different from him, I could tell that from the first time we met. And you are so much different from your mother, even if you have inherited her beauty. Perhaps you have earned other skills by your father, the late dark lord was a parcelmouth, so I assume you must be one since you have Nagini as well?" Elizabeth smiled kindly.

Elias was feeling very awkward and remained silent. His face was deep red of embarrassment and shame. He had made Luna nervous and put her in a most uncomfortable and impossible situation. And above of that, he had only earned his parent’s wrath.
Perhaps I should not have crossed the line..

She-she didn't hesitate! She took to Nagini right away! I expected screaming! With her maturity level, maybe throwing things? Why is no one losing control. . .

Elizabeth turned towards Luna as she stood up and raised her chin, so the young lady was looking into her eyes.

Motherly comfort? She-

Both of them?

"I understand your reasons in hiding your serpent," Elizabeth continued as she took Luna by her hands, pulled her gently down in her chair as she sat down beside her.

You do? Of all things, i did not expect this reaction. . .

"And I do not see any concerns with if you keep a pet with the same name.

"Yes, I do." she said quietly. "Thank you for your kind words." she said politely, before standing and joining Lily by Nagini.

"Yes" Luna said to Lily, "Nagini is female. She is more than just a simple pet. . .She can feel deep emotions, understand me when I am not feeling my best, and, above all; will never betray me. "

"Hello." Nagini said to Lily.

"She has just said hello." Luna translated.

Elias was feeling very awkward and remained silent. His face was deep red of embarrassment and shame, which Luna noticed.

You should feel shame. Although it turned out better than I expected, I am still upset. I assumed you were a man of boundaries and etiquette.

"Yes" Luna said to Lily, "Nagini is female. She is more than just a simple pet. . .She can feel deep emotions, understand me when I am not feeling my best, and, above all; will never betray me."

"Oh, that is amazing..." Lily smiled. "It is so rare with such great pets because it is not always one will find a pet that will truly understand or stay loyal. Like cats for instance, they can be difficult to befriend."

Nagini looked at Lily.

"She has just said hello." Luna translated.

Lily laughed amusingly.

Elias watched in silence, while everyone else were conversing lightly and gaily. He did not dare to meet Luna's eyes. He glanced at her several times when she was not looking his way. I want to tell her that I am sorry, that I did not mean to hurt her, but I cannot think of a good apology. I am worried that any word I try to say to her might sound hollow and empty. Perhaps she won't forgive me that easily. Would she have kept Nagini hidden if I have not taken this risk today? Or would she have introduced her serpent later? Perhaps she wanted to become good friends with my family before revealing about her pet? Why did I not think about this earlier? I am so stubborn, I acted foolishly before thinking, I had three months of time to resolve things with Luna but instead I fudged our friendship and future because of my wrong step today.

After that one hour had passed in delight and enjoyment, both Elizabeth and Alexander rose up from their chairs.
"Thank you so much, dear, for everything today. It was such an enjoyable and joyous time." Elizabeth smiled as she carefully walked over to Luna, to not step accidentally on Nagini. "Unfortunately, we have to leave for today," She spoke as she took Luna's hands in her both hands tenderly. "Thank you once again for the lovely gifts," She smiled kindly. "Please take good care of yourself.." She kissed Luna on her cheek. "..and a good care of Nagini as well," She chuckled as she looked down at the serpent which peered at her.

"I will miss you so much, Luna.." Lily tried to hide the disappointment about that she had to leave though managed to cheer herself up when she remembered that they would see each other more often after her graduation. "...well, we'll see each other soon in July," she giggled. "Thank you for everything today, it was so joyous.." She hugged Luna and kissed her cheeks.

Alexander bid Luna kindly farewell as he thanked her for the enjoyable day and the gifts. He smiled fatherly and tenderly towards her. "Please let us know in beforehand when you have to time to see Lily during the summer. And also thank you so much for offering yourself in teaching my daughter cooking with magic. It is very kind of you and we truly appreciate it." He smiled.

Elias was feeling very awkward when he was standing there, not knowing how he should bring himself in thanking Luna for the lovely day of leisure when he hardly could meet her gaze. When he his family walked past him, his mother spoke quietly, addressing to him: "I do neither want to see your face nor talk to you until you have apologized to Miss Lestrange..." and with that she rounded the corner of the hedge, apparating away with his father and sister.

He remained, standing on the same spot, very pale now in contrary from one hour ago. He hung his head, looking down at the ground, picking nervously on his cloak. What shall I say....
Drops of cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

"You are most welcome." Luna replied, standing.

"I am happy you enjoyed them." she smiled.

"Please take good care of yourself.." Luna remained awkwardly still as she kissed her on the cheek. "..and a good care of Nagini as well," She added.

"I always do." Luna said confidently.

"I will miss you so much, Luna.." Lily said.

"As will I." she said politely.

"...well, we'll see each other soon in July," she giggled. "Thank you for everything today, it was so joyous.." She hugged Luna and kissed her cheeks as Luna remained oddly still yet again.

"You are most welcome. Thank you as well. It would not have been a lovely day had it not been for your company. "

"The pleasure is all mine. I look forward to seeing Lily more." she smiled. "Farewell, everyone." she said to them as they left.

Luna noticed Elias hadn't left, yet, but had remained oddly pale, frozen on the spot.

You deserve to feel bad. I enjoy seeing you in pain, otherwise I would fix this right this minute. She turned to Nagini, and they both shared the same thought as they smiled at each other. Shall we drag it on for a while? Let him really feel the shame? Luna looked into Elias's eyes, unsmiling, and he tastefully turned away. She walked away without another word, neither giving him time to say anything, nor a chance to chase after her as she disappeared into smoke a few steps later. Nagini stared up at him, and when their eyes met, she imitated Luna and left with only a cold look, disappearing into the hedge. She appeared back in the kitchen of her manor, facing the gift basket. Play with fire and you get burned. However, various factors change how long the burns take to heal. . . She threw out all of the flowers from the basket, stored the wine in her cabinet in case of other guests, and kept the chocolates, planning to eat them soon. She was soon joined by Nagini, and they discussed the event, and how they expected Elias to react to their cold looks, laughing and making light of it, making them both feel happier.

It was like the calm before the storm, but the storm never came. It was much worse. She might as well have asked the serpent to attack me over hundred times as punishment... Elias thought when he was left alone in the labyrinth. He apparated home and avoided his family as much as possible. He kept himself busy with work from morning to night, barely sleeping or eating well, for several days, not seeing anyone in his family. Until the fifth morning, when Elias woke, he had enough. I must speak to her, I will apologize and if she..if she does not forgive me...well I have only myself to blame.. he thought as he looked at his shady look in the mirror. He drank some energy boosting potions and was once filled with full energy, feeling very spirited and healthy but the dark circles under his eyes were still there. It was still too early, only five o'clock in the morning and he was already fully dressed. Perhaps I should try to eat something...it would be imprudent to disturb Luna during her beauty sleep..

Elias went down to the kitchen and quietly signaled the house-elf to prepare a rich breakfast for him and bring it up to his bedroom.

Elias took in the delicious dishes and forced himself to eat, trying to not to think about the same nightmare he had been having every night since the family lunch.

Luna, dressed in a bloodied wedding gown, marrying Aaron Glass whose face was perverted and Elias leading them to the altar. Aislinn who was the bridesmaid, still looking like a human, got dragon wings and a dragon tail and fangs, was laughing at Elias. Nagini was slithering around the altar and sneering towards him. His family was standing beside the altar, taunting him and blaming him for being such a coward. And no one other than Voldemort himself, was about to wed the couples in the midst of a graveyard.

Elias shook his head to bring himself to the reality as he tried to focus on the bowl of delicious natural yoghurt instead for the weird nightmare.

Luna kept busy for what felt like several days, not giving Elias a second thought. On the fifth day, she went to work as usual, and came home to a very disturbing surprise. On her bed side table, lay a red rose and a note in Aaron's distinctive handwriting. A closer look revealed that the rose had once been white, but was painted with blood to make it appear red. She dropped it once she made the realization. She burnt it, then focused her attention on the note instead. A plain white card, with her name written in silver. As soon as she picked it up, she knew she had made a mistake. Luna. She heard Aaron's voice, and felt a dizzying sensation. Before she knew it, she was in the center of her own labyrinth. It took her a few seconds to gain focus, then realized where she was. No one was around, and the only thing in the clearing was a table, with another note. She avoided touching this one, and levitated it to her eye level instead. Dear Luna, She could hear his voice as she read it,
I am beginning to think you have forgotten about me. It has been an eternity since I gazed into those stunning green eyes. Depriving me of that is truly a sin, my love. We shall reconcile with a passionate gesture, and perhaps I will forgive you. . . Luna shook her head. Surely I am not hearing his overbearing voice? She crumbled the note in her hand, and turned to see Aaron standing right behind her.

"Hello, Luna." he smiled in his charming and expectant way.

I was hearing his voice! How could I be so foolish.

"It appears-" he smirked "you have become so entangled in a false pretext that you have forgotten your true purpose."

She took a two steps back, tripped on something, and fell back. Before she could react, he appeared near her, gently catching her.

No! This is all going wrong!

He picked her up, and placed her on something soft, which she realized was a bed.

This is going completely the wrong direction!

"Are you alright?" he said charmingly, leaning over her slightly.

"I-" she said in an angry tone, before he put a silencing finger to her lips.

"You want to apologize, I know." he smiled.

In the corner of her eye, she saw Nagini progressing rapidly behind Aaron, still following a quickly - revised plan.

"I know a way you can make it up to me." he said with a piercing glance into her eyes, leaning over her further, about to touch her face.

Nagini struck his leg, causing him to jump back from her, and he foolishly put pressure on his weakened leg, causing him to fall to the floor. Luna stood quickly, about to disarm him, as Nagini made to strike him again. However, Aaron was faster than both of them, and in a moment he had gotten hold of his wand, frozen Nagini, and disarmed Luna instead. He kept a firm hand on her wand so that she couldn't summon it, as he reached into his pocket with his free hand. He downed a bottle of anti-venom, then healed his injuries.

"You did not expect me to come unprepared, did you?" He said tauntingly as he stood up.

The plan failed. In truth, I was supposed to be standing up, but he gave me no choice. Luna attempted to disappear into smoke, before she remembered she needed a wand to do so. He smiled amusedly at her attempt, before she spat at his feet and ran through the labyrinth, taking numerous turns.

"You don't understand that once a butterfly is caught in a spider's web, thrashing about only gets it further entangled." he said quietly. He stood there for ten minutes patiently waiting, then disappeared in smoke.

Luna reached a forked path, and took a left, looking behind her for the hundredth time, panting heavily as she ran. She collided with Aaron, and fell, though she stood as quickly, choosing the right path instead. He stood before her. . . every time she turned he blocked her, until her back was against the hedge.

With his wand in possession, he can trap me for as long as he wants. If only I could knew wandless magic!

He smiled, and advanced with an outstretched hand. He brushed the hair away from her face, and stroked her face.

"Do you really not care whether I wish to love you or not?" she said angrily.

"As long as I get what I want, no one else truly matters." he said as he kissed her neck.

The day went by slowly. Elias was sitting at his desk in his room, thinking about what he should say to Luna, what kind of words he should use to apologize well. But his mind was scattered and every sentence he made up sounded hollow and meaningless. He was chewing on his quill as he stared at the empty parchment in front of him. His intention was not to write her a letter but compose the words in beforehand before speaking them to her face to face. After an hour he gave up. Perhaps I'll know what to say when I see her.. He thought nervously.

Elias drank a goblet of crystal moon wine to calm down his nerves before apparating in front of Luna's manor. But before he took any further step towards the front doors, he noticed a quick movement in the corner of his eyes. He turned around to see Nagini slithering towards him. He took one step backward, hesitating as he clutched his wand. Nagini stopped a few feet in front of him and looked at him with her yellow eyes. She hissed as she nodded with her head towards the labyrinth. Elias stared at her confusingly. Is that serpent talking to me? He walked towards her, kneeled down and asked: "Luna....Is she...in the labyrinth?" He was feeling very stupid, wondering if Nagini understood humans or not. To his surprise, she nodded. Elias blinked twice in confusion. Unbelievable.... He thought as he stood up. Nagini hissed, turned towards the labyrinth and then turned back to him. This time she nudged his ankle and looked at him and then at the labyrinth. "You want me to go to the labyrinth?.." Elias was still feeling very stupid. Nagini nodded, this time more, intense, seemingly being in hurry about something which Elias could not understand. When he did not move an inch, because he was hesitating, she grasped his ankle and enclosed it with her jaw as she tried to move backwards in the direction to the labyrinth.

"Allright...allright, calm down...what the bloody hell....calm down..." he exclaimed with shock.

As soon as he took a step towards the labyrinth with his free foot, Nagini let go of him and slithered away in the same direction. She turned her head several times to see if Elias was following her, and for every time she turned her attention back to the labyrinth, she slithered faster that Elias had to run to keep in pace with her. As soon as he set his foot in the labyrinth, he evaporated in smoke since he could move faster if he flew at the ground level. When he reached the opening to the center he stopped just behind a hedge as soon as he heard voices.

"Do you really not care whether I wish to love you or not?" Luna said angrily.

"As long as I get what I want, no one else truly matters." A familiar voice spoke.

Elias, still disguised in smoke, entered the center of the labyrinth. His heart almost stopped when he was met by an unexpected view. How dare he put a finger on her.... Elias, still as smoke, rushed forward and as he transformed back to normal, he grabbed Aaron by his collar at the same time and lunched him with all his might and force away. Unfortunately, there's no time to speak... He thought as he turned his back against Luna and faced Aaron who was already standing on his feet. He was fast and powerful. Elias could hardly find an opening to attack without defending himself. A spell suddenly hit his charm bracelet accidentally, causing it to come apart in two pieces and fall to the ground. What the bloody hell....well what can I expect from a charm bracelet made by goblins. It protects the wearer against magic but the bracelet itself can easily be broken or destroyed by magic..... Suddenly a jinx paralyzed his left arm. What the bloody hell....as if he knew about my charm bracelet..but how could that be possible? I rather believe this happened by chance now...well let's see if he can predict this.. Elias thought as he fired sectumsempra soundlessly at Aaron but Elias was hit by another jinx at the same time which left him unconscious.

Out of the corner of her eye, Luna saw Nagini. Her eyes widened, as she was sure she would not have returned without help. Aaron felt her breathing stop for a second as her despair was replaced with hope. All of a sudden Elias appeared, and grabbed Aaron by his collar, throwing him to the ground. He stood with his back to her, defending her. Aaron was already standing, and the two began dueling. Within moments, Elias's charm broke, and Luna wondered why something meant to protect was made so carelessly. Elias fired one last hex before he was knocked out, by which time Luna had taken advantage of the situation, and summoned both her wand, and Aaron's. When she turned to Aaron, he was kneeling on the floor, clutching his chest, while his shirt became bloodier by the second. Luna shared a look with Nagini, and they both nodded. Within moments, Aaron could no longer kneel, and was forced to fall back against the hedge, in a half-sitting position with his head hung. Luna smirked, and knelt beside him, lifting his head so that their eyes met. She met his gaze with a contented, victorious smile as he stared back weakly. "Inevitably, the butterfly evolves to become the spider." she paused. "Or rather . . . the snake." She let his head drop once more, and stood proudly. "Nagini-" she said vengefully as she magically levitated Elias's unconscious body off the ground, "Dinner." She left Nagini alone, and before she left she head Aaron's last breath, used to create a scream that pierced the night, making Luna so content she forgot everything she had held against Elias. This gift you have given me. Luna smiled as she lay Elias on her bed, summoning several healing potions. Is more than anything I could ask of you.

As Aaron lay still, agonizingly awaiting death, he smiled. My Luna. . . You will always be my dark, beautiful lady. . .

Luna sat in the kitchen, drinking a glass of lemonade held in a wine goblet. She smiled as she looked down at Nagini, who lay contentedly in her lap, when Elias came down from upstairs.

Elias opened his eyes slowly and stared at the white ceiling above him for several minutes. He was laying on something soft and comfortable. Was it all a dream? He turned sideways and frowned when he did not recognize the place at first. He sat up with a start and looked around in confusion when finally, he remembered when he had been in this room the last time. If I ended up alive at her place after the duel, then it must mean.... Elias did not finish his thought, he struggled out of the bed and tried his best to smooth out the wrinkles. He almost laughed at himself for not being able to make a bed. When he could not find Luna at the second floor, he went down the stairs and walked straight to the kitchen, making a half guess that he would find her there. He took a deep breath before entering, finding her sitting at the table enjoying a goblet with lemonade. He bowed his head towards her as he spoke:

"I am very sorry about the last time, when I rashly and selfishly put you in an uncomfortable situation in front of my family. If I had thought twice before acting so thoughtlessly and recklessly against you, upsetting and angering you that you did not want to see me anymore then you won't have been left alone and the incident happened today won't have happened. Who knows what could have happened if I had not arrived in time to save you?" Elias shuddered at this thought, his voice full of regrets because how he had hurt her the last time. He had put his hand at where his heart was the entire time when he spoke, completely unaware that he was touching the brooch with the palm of his hand.
It is all my fault, if I had listened to her the last time, we would still have been together, and I would have been able to protect her......

Luna's face remained emotionless as she allowed him to apologize. You deserve to feel shame. However, you do not know how much you have made up for your foolishness. Once he was done, Nagini left her lap and Luna stood, placing her goblet on the table. "You have made up for your mistake more than you may expect." she smiled. "Although, I recommend de-activating your brooch before you allow your thoughts to stray elsewhere." she smiled. She extended her hand to him. "Let us forget all that has transpired tonight, and that day." she said, referencing the day of his mistake. After a few seconds, he took her hand, and they were in the center of the labyrinth once more. A piano, and a violin appeared, and she turned to him, smiling. Her expression told him it was time to play, until both of them forgot. .

"You have made up for your mistake more than you may expect." she smiled. "Although, I recommend de-activating your brooch before you allow your thoughts to stray elsewhere." she smiled.

Elias smiled as he removed his hand from his brooch My thoughts...oh...well that does not matter anyway..hehe..

"Let us forget all that has transpired tonight, and that day." Luna spoke as she extended her hand to him.

When he took her hand, they appeared in the center of the labyrinth once more, where there were no tracks left after the body of Aaron Glass.

A piano, and a violin appeared, and she turned to him, smiling. Her expression told him it was time to play. Elias smiled lovingly before he took his usual place at the piano. Next time we'll try and switch instruments... He thought happily as he started to play and soon Luna joined him with her violin.

They played several countless songs together, one after other, beautiful and serene music, each song with its lovely uniqueness of beauty. They played until they lost count of how many songs they had played and until they lost track of time, they played until they had forgotten everything that happened earlier today and the other day. They played until the sun went down the horizon and a crescent moon rose up and shined so brightly over the center of the labyrinth.

When they were done, Elias summoned his broken charm. It was almost destroyed and useless now. He put it in his pocket at the moment, planning to have it mended tomorrow or another day.
The music instrument disappeared and instead a lovely gazebo with an elegant table and two chairs, appeared on Elias' wish. Purple roses grow along at the gazebo and around them. Oh perhaps I overdid it hehe, I only asked this room of requirement for a gazebo and seats...I hope she does not mind the purple roses....He led Luna inside where they sat down to relax for tonight. He had no wish for going to sleep even if he only had five hours sleep the previous night. I just want to spend this night with her....sleep can wait... He thought as he smiled lovingly.
