Luna silently admired the sights as they walked, though she did her best to ignore the Muggles.

"Welcome to Dark Side of the Louvre," Elias said charmingly as he opened the door to a dark Wizarding store underground area.

"Thank you." she replied politely as they stepped out.

"I know you do not wish to buy anything and I understand why," he smiled. "Though I enjoy to walk around with you and just look at various items for fun."

"Alright" she smiled "As long as there are no disgusting blood traitors, I will enjoy myself. " They walked around, and explored various shops, and Luna did not have any urge to purchase anything until they came across an appealing Sweet Store. There were chocolate roses, and Slytherin emblems made entirely from Almond Brittle, and boxes of assorted chocolate - dipped fruits. "Excuse me." she said to the man at the cash register. "Is it alright if I taste one of these chocolate roses? " he seemed about to say no before she added "I would like to be sure I enjoy the taste before purchasing some." He nodded, and she went to the display and opened the case containing the roses. She levitated one from it, then closed it again. She tasted the lovely smoothness of the milk chocolate, which melted in her mouth, leaving a creamy richness. "Elias." Luna said, slightly embarrassed. "These are so lovely. . .I know I said I wouldn't purchase anything, but I hold chocolate to a different standard. Especially-" she said, sighing at the lovely taste "when it tasted unlike the ones I purchase from London. I do hope you'll forgive me?" she asked hopefully.

"If possible," she said modestly "I'd like two boxes. One for Aislynn." she smiled.

"Alright" she smiled "As long as there are no disgusting blood traitors, I will enjoy myself. "

"Do not worry my dear, you won't see any blood traitors here," he assured her as they walked around and explored a various of shops until they came across an appealing Sweet Store. There were chocolate roses, and Slytherin emblems made entirely from Almond Brittle, and boxes of assorted chocolate - dipped fruits.

"Excuse me." Luna said to the man at the cash register. "Is it alright if I taste one of these chocolate roses? I would like to be sure I enjoy the taste before purchasing some."
He nodded, and she went to the display and opened the case containing the roses. She levitated one from it, then closed it again.

"Elias." Luna said, after she had tasted the rose chocolate, slightly embarrassed. "These are so lovely. . .I know I said I wouldn't purchase anything, but I hold chocolate to a different standard. Especially-" she said, sighing at the lovely taste "when it tasted unlike the ones I purchase from London. I do hope you'll forgive me?" she asked hopefully.

Oh good Merlin, she is so cute.. Elias thought amusingly.
"No need to apologize, my dear," he chuckled. "Who can resist chocolate after all? hehehe...I had actually on my mind to surprise you with some."

"If possible," she said modestly "I'd like two boxes. One for Aislynn." she smiled.

"I would buy hundred boxes of chocolate if you so wished," he replied charmingly as he purchased, not only two, but four boxes. "One for Miss Monroe, one for my family, one for you and one for us both to enjoy tonight after the ball," he explained. "Is there anything more you desire, my dear?"

"No." she said appreciatively, "I believe that is all." They browsed several more stores, until it was time for lunch. "I have worked up an appetite." she smiled as they exited a shop selling perfumes, none of which compared to the one he had purchased for her.

Meanwhile

"I would not serve you, much less destroy Miss Monroe and Miss Lestrange." Raven said, as if she was deeply offended. "How dare you suggest such a thing!"

"You will see, I hope, that they only intend to use you for tasks as worthless as Lord Voldemort." the angel spat as if she was stupid.

"Leave me!" she yelled.

"You know where to find me." he said, as if he expected her to come to him crying.

"Never." she said as he left.

“No." Luna said appreciatively. "I believe that is all."

"Allright, perhaps there're other interesting shops," Elias smiled as they continued to browse several more stores, until it was time for lunch. A quick reference to his pocket watch, he noticed that the time was almost four o'clock.

"I have worked up an appetite." Luna smiled as they exited a shop selling perfumes, none of which compared to the one he had purchased for her.

"Then let's apparate back to the hotel. It is a pleasant spring weather thus I want to seize the opportunity to eat in the gardens," he suggested happily.

Back at the hotel they enjoyed a delicious lunch with a greater appetite than they both had in the morning. Basil tomato cream soup, poached salmon with grilled sweet potatoes, buttered oven-grilled vegetables, lemonade and creamy chocolate pudding topped with chopped sweet almonds.

"Are you ready for tonight?" Elias asked, almost biting his lower lip of excitement. He looked into Luna's green eyes and wanted to ask her to wear a red gown since he thought it would make a lovely contrast to her stunning eyes. Though he did not say anything.

Meanwhile

When Aislinn entered the family room and noticed that Vincent was absent, she got very disappointment that she almost forgot to greet her relatives.

"Good evening, my dear," her grandmother greeted her as she looked questioningly at her.

Aislinn only stood and stared at everyone who in return looked amusingly and questioningly at her.

"Ehh...Vincent is not here?" She was feeling very stupid.

"Oh, he has taken a trip to Transylvania," Lady Monroe chuckled. "He like to visit it from time to time, traveling with friends and visit other friends there since he has many friends from his time at the Transylvania Academy."

I believe that he actually went away because I hurt his feelings, it was unexpected... Aislinn thought as she forced herself to sit with her relatives. She was feeling very guilty.

"Are you allright, dear?" her grandmother looked at her like she had been reading her mind.

"Yes, I am fine..." she replied, feeling very flustered.

Natalia looked at Aislinn like she knew what has happened between her son and Aislinn the previous night.

"You miss him, don't you?" Lady Monroe chuckled as she caressed Aislinn's head.

Not really...

"Then let's apparate back to the hotel. It is a pleasant spring weather thus I want to seize the opportunity to eat in the gardens," he suggested happily.

"Perfect." she smiled.

They enjoyed a lovely lunch together, before which Luna, of course, tested for poison.

"Are you ready for tonight?" Elias asked excitedly.

"Of course." she said happily "Getting ready will take only five minutes, of course." she smiled. "Would you be interested in helping me design my gown?" she asked, as if she had read his mind. "It wouldn't be an hour ordeal-" she assured him, imagining a picky Miss Blanc taking hours to decide on the design of a custom-designed dress at a tailor's shop. "Just a few minutes."

"It...it would be an honor," Elias replied nervously as he felt the color rise to his cheeks. " And it is allright, you may take as much time as you need, dear." He smiled.

For every step closer they came to their hotel suite, the more nervous Elias became. I wonder what she meant with helping her in designing her gown. I hope she won't ask me to join her in her bedroom. I only saw her trying out the mirror once before I bought it to her, though that was when she disguised herself as my sister. Would it be the same when she only changes her clothes, like disguising her gowns?

When they entered their suite, he sat down on the couch in the parlor. He smiled charmingly towards her as he expected her to change her clothes alone in her bedroom and then come out to show him each dress while he gave her suggestions.

Luna summoned her mirror, and held it up so that she could see herself. "Let's begin with a plain white gown," she said, as her gown changed from green to white, losing its sleeves and beading. It was now a very simple, long dress. "How about the color?" she asked charmingly.

The gown changed from white to red, and then she decided to do the sleeves. "How about this?" she asked politely, as the simple straps changed to an elegant off-the shoulder style, similar to Belle's from Beauty and the Beast. As she awaited his opinion she added a petticoat to the gown, and some ruffles, giving the bottom the look of a proper ball gown.

Luna summoned her mirror, and held it up so that she could see herself.

"Let's begin with a plain white gown," she said, as her gown changed from green to white, losing its sleeves and beading. It was now a very simple, long dress.

Elias breathed out with relief. It is just a disguise then, the clothes transforms and change without revealing anything..

"How about the color?" she asked charmingly.

"Red, perhaps?" He suggested tentatively. I hope she does not associate the red color with Gryffindor. I just find red gowns very charming on women...

The gown changed from white to red. Oh good Merlin, that color makes her eyes more stunning than ever...

"How about this?" she asked politely, as she changed the simple straps to an elegant off-the shoulder style. She also added a petticoat to the gown, and some ruffles, giving the bottom the look of a proper ball gown.

"Lovely," he breathed as he stood up. Though something is missing, a pair of gloves perhaps, jewelry...I do not like combination of white and red thus I won't suggest pearls....I am going to wear a completely black tuxedo and a black cloak which is red on the inside....

"What about to add a pair of black gloves and perhaps silver jewelry?" He suggested slightly doubtful. Before she replied or added anything more, he excused himself and hurried to his room to change his clothes. He came back after ten minutes, elegantly dressed.

"Black gloves would be lovely. " she smiled, though he had already left the room. She went to the closet, and pulled out a pair of plain white gloves. She then put them on, and used the mirror to disguise them as long black gloves which reached to just above her elbows. She had her hair arranged in a simple, yet elegant bun, with a loose strand of hair to her right. She then took out a plain beaded necklace, and placed it on her neck, then changed it into a silver chain necklace with a lovely serpent pendant embedded with small emeralds. Lastly, she changed a pair of plain clip-on earrings to match her necklace. The mirror worked by disguising one thing as another; it couldn't conjure anything, so Luna had packed several plain dresses, gloves, cheap necklaces and earrings. As soon as she took them off, they would assume their previous forms. She stepped out of her bedroom, to an excited and well-dressed Elias. "Is this alright?" she asked modestly.Well, tell me what you think. Red, you said. Red, the brightest color. . . the one that you can spot from a mile away. Why did you want me to stand out so much? Green isn't as bold. . .neither is purple, or black. . .all colors I normally wear, yet you chose red.

Luna stepped out of her bedroom, to an excited and well-dressed Elias.

"Is this alright?" she asked modestly.

Elias smiled as he compared the red color of her dress with the red of the inside of his cloak.
"Your red dress is a little too bright, I was referencing to a darker kind, like this..." He replied gently as he gestured at his cloak.

"Have I told you yet, how charming you look in red?" He spoke breathlessly as if he had read her mind, when the red of her dress turned slightly darker. "And it makes a lovely contrast to your stunning eyes," he continued charmingly as he came closer. He took her by her hand and led her to the floor length mirror in the parlor, so that she could look at herself.

Elias checked his pocket watch and noticed that they had thirty minutes left to the opening of the ball. "Shall we?"

They apparated to a castle which was located in northern part of Paris. It was a grand white castle with a grand garden labyrinth at the front and a round sparkling magical water fountain in the middle. A lot of French witches and wizards appeared all around the place, walking up to the entrance. Of course, all the French witches were dressed in very pompous gowns, most of them of baroque and rococo style in pastel and light colors, a few were dressed in Victorian style though still in pastel colors. It was a mass of guests dressed in pink, blue, green or purple and gold or silver. Elias and Luna were the only ones dressed in dark colors, which made them to stand out and yet as the most elegant and beautiful guests. Elias paid with his magical quill as they came to the entrance. They entered a grand hallway with magical crystal candelabras and candles hanging in the air, marbled floors and walls with mirrors and bright red roses in white and gold vases alongside the walls. The ballroom was splendid and grand. An orchestra, which was playing welcoming and calm music, was placed in one corner of the room and alongside the walls were tables with refreshments consisting of crystal-like bubble liquors and assorted sweets, chocolates and cupcakes and a countless of different kinds of other sweets and of course assorted fruits. Red bright roses growing on light green vines clung magically to the walls and crystal windows. A greater and grander candelabra hung magically in middle part of the very high ceiling. Everything was of course decorated in gold and white.

There were no chairs as if the host of this ball expected everyone to dance all the time. When the time struck seven o'clock, the welcoming music changed to a different kind and soon everyone was waltzing around.

Elias turned smilingly towards Luna and asked charmingly:

"May I have this dance with you, my dear?"

"Have I told you yet, how charming you look in red?" He said as if in reply to her thoughts, as she changed the dress to a darker red. "And it makes a lovely contrast to your stunning eyes," he continued charmingly as he came closer.

"Why, thank you." she said modestly as he led her to the mirror. She gazed at herself for a moment, then turned to him. "My thanks." she smiled "Had it not been for you, I would not have discovered how lovely this red makes my eyes." Perhaps in your dreams. As if the Dark Mistress would ever be seen wearing red.

"Shall we?"

She took his arm, and they apparated to a lovely castle. Luna silently admired the sights, and was amazed at the inside, as she had never seen such a beautiful ballroom.

"May I have this dance with you, my dear?" Elias spoke charmingly, as he offered her his hand.

"Of course." Luna smiled with the slight nod of her head as she gracefully took his arm. They danced together, as Luna genuinely enjoyed the harmony of the music and their steps. They went on for several songs, until after an hour of dancing they harmoniously wished for a break. They went over to the place where the food and drink was laid out, and Luna saw that there was no lemonade, only wine and champagne. What did I expect? Pumpkin juice as well? She picked up a glass of white wine, and discretely added a drop of her potion, then one to Elias's drink.

High above the ceiling, to where the pillars that held the ceiling reached, were small balconies. On one to the far right, stood Raven, watching Elias and Luna, proud that this was the mistress she would soon serve.
I relish in the pain she is causing him. The inner struggle, the one he chooses to ignore, is what he loves most about her. She is different from any other woman. . .he thinks. And, he will clearly do anything to ensure that he is hers. Be it a vacation, or acting as any love-struck fool would, and risk his life for her, like countless times in the past. Oh, Luna. . . .you are a wicked one.

As they danced together, Elias only had his eyes on Luna and thus he did not notice how they two became the center of everyone's attention. The other guests did not only enjoy dancing but also enjoyed seeing the dark dressed couple dance with such elegance and grace to the harmony of the music. After one hour of dancing they took a break and strode over to the place where the food and drink was laid out. Elias was about to pick two goblets of champagne for them both when he saw that Luna picked white wine instead. He allowed her to discretely add a drop of her potion in his goblet of champagne. He had now got so used to her poison check potion that it had become an everyday thing to him as it was as an ordinary thing as adding sugar in a cup of tea. He levitated a plate with two chocolate cupcakes. The cakes were of chocolate and was filled with chocolate mousse and topped with chocolate frosting. A small milk chocolate ball was placed at the top of each frosting of the cupcakes. Elias smiled a little guilty when he held the plate towards Luna.
I know what a lady needs, chocolate is not only good for the health but it will also make one happy....

They enjoyed the sweet and delicious chocolate cupcakes, after that Luna had dropped her potion in each of them. The chocolate was so rich, and the sweetness was perfect. There were a lot of other kind of sweets and desserts, not everything was of chocolate but so deliciously colorful, though they both were already feeling full after one cupcake each. The other guests on the contrary were eating much more with goals to overindulge and taste almost everything.

When they both were done, Elias pointed with his wand discreetly Luna's feet and then at his, speaking the charm silently.

"Now we won't feel tired as we continue to dance," he explained as he led her back to the midst of the ballroom. "They won't choose a couple for performing any music or song by the end of this night and we have about three hours more to enjoy until then," he said with a charming smile as they swirled around.

He levitated a plate with two lovely chocolate cupcakes, offering Luna one as he smiled. "Thank you." she smiled as she picked on up, then added another drop from her vial to both of theirs. It was such a lovely richness, especially the small ball of chocolate on top, which was solid on the outside and soft on the inside. Such lovely chocolate. I have forgotten just how much I enjoyed it.

When they both were done, Elias pointed with his wand discreetly Luna's feet and then at his, speaking the charm silently. "Now we won't feel tired as we continue to dance," he explained in answer to her questioning glance.

"They won't choose a couple for performing any music or song by the end of this night and we have about three hours more to enjoy until then," he said with a charming smile as they swirled around.

"What makes you think we will be chosen?" she asked, as if the probability was obvious.

"What makes you think we will be chosen?" Luna asked, as if the probability was obvious.

"Well..." Elias laughed uncertainly. "Perhaps because we stand out so much," he guessed as he glanced sideways. "..as all the other guests are dressed in so bright colors....or perhaps they choose the ones who dance the best or the most,.though I think they might choose us.." He looked charmingly at her as he continued: "...because that you look like a charming dark queen..."

They continued to dance in three more hours until they and everyone else naturally left the dance floor, knowing that the time had come. The host of the ball, who was a short and fat man in his middle age, did not pick the best dancing or most dancing couple, but instructed all guests to vote for their favorite couple in the belief of making it justice. He explained the whole progress and that the chosen couple would perform music by their own choice at the orchestra, by singing or playing or the both. One couple, after giving their names to the host, would stand in the middle of the room while the rest who were standing around would raise their hands in order to cast their votes. Elias translated everything to Luna in English since she did not understand French and watched the progress slightly amusingly. He did not cast any vote at all. Perhaps if I do not vote, we might win with at least one more vote than anyone else and I would not throw away this chance...if we are the lucky ones who get chosen, Luna would be so happy to play music, since she chose to attend this ball because of this opportunity after all..

Elias and Luna were the last couple to walk up to the middle of the floor, and Elias immediately introduced them both to the host as:
"Monsieur Elias Shadowwalker and Mademoiselle Eve Blackwood." He adjusted his cloak, literary touching the brooch as he thought….For your own safety, my dear... He almost held his breath as he waited for the last votes to be cast. The guests raised their hands in the air and the host who was standing on a footstool counted the votes whose sum he scribbled down on a parchment. He looked at the votes as he compared them and then he looked up smilingly. With a clear voice he announced the chosen ones and Elias could not believe his ears as he heard the announcement.

"Congratulations, my dear," He said happily to Luna as he led her to the orchestra which was consisting of many more music instruments than they both needed. He smiled as he sat down at the piano while she picked up the violin.

"...because that you look like a charming dark queen.."

I guess that you have finally and completely abandoned your cowardice, Elias. Dark queen. . .how lovely. "Why, thank you." she said modestly as they continued to dance. Three hours later, Elias translated the host's choice of voting for a couple, and they awaited their turn eagerly. I have never been one to vote. Even when I run for Minister for Magic, I will not vote. i despise those people who vote for themselves, even more so the people who vote for the opposing party in hopes that they will gain popularity.

Elias and Luna were the last couple to walk up to the middle of the floor, and Elias immediately introduced them both to the host as:

"Monsieur Elias Shadowwalker and Mademoiselle Eve Blackwood."

For your own safety, my dear...

All for security, Elias. she replied I understand completely.

They waited silently as the votes were counted, Luna secretly waiting to see the disappointed look on Elias's face when they weren't the ones chosen. However, when the results were announced in French, she didn't need to understand the language to tell who had been chosen. He is surprised...probably just as surprised as I. I usually assume I won't win when others are involved, that way my hopes never run high, and if I do happen to win. . .by some miracle, I am pleasantly surprised.

"Congratulations, my dear," He said happily to Luna as he led her to the orchestra, with numerous instruments, though they would only be needing two. He sat down at the piano, and she gracefully picked up her violin.

I am so very happy I could enjoy this trip whilst undisguised. And now, while we once again enjoy the beauty and synchronicity of our musical harmony. Let us begin. she thought as she smiled, and began to play.

The notes flowed, their hearts raced, and the audience gazed on in wonder. Raven smiled, wondering why she was enjoying it so much. It is so lovely. . so beautiful. she thought as she let a few tears slide down her cheeks.

The guests were gazing breathlessly at the dark couple who was playing such touching serene music. Many of them were unaware that they were staring with their mouths open. And they were all standing still, feeling impotent to move as if they were bewitched by the music. Several ladies fainted because of the lovely music and got caught in the arms of their partners who carefully sprinkled water magically at faces of their ladies.

Elias was playing with all his heart, fully devoted to play his best for Luna. His long and small fingers moved with such grace and elegance over the piano keys. As they started to play, he had secretly mumbled a charm which conjured magical music notes which, emerging from both the piano and the violin, moved to the beat of the music.

Elias lost the count of the time and did not stop playing until Luna did, He pressed the last piano keys as she made an elegant and graceful move with the fiddle-bow on the strings of the violin for the last time. They ended their music as beautifully as they had started it.

"Admirable!! Magnifique!! Charmant!! Merveilleux!! Formidable!!" The guests cried as they exploded in applause. Many of them, especially the ladies, were crying floods, as they hugged their partners.

Elias checked his pocket watch and was shocked to see that time was already three o'clock past midnight. He bowed, pretending to thank the applauding audience as he touched his brooch. It is already past midnight and it is only a couple of hours left to sunrise which I would love to watch with you, unless if you wish to play more music... He thought and stood up.

Elias and Luna were both highly praised by the host and gifted a golden music trophy, which had been a secret and surprise to this certain ball and event.

The host asked them both if they would love to perform more music.

"The decision is yours, my lady," Elias said charmingly to Luna after he had translated to her what the host had said.

They ended the final piece together, and smiled as they received their praise. It is already past midnight and it is only a couple of hours left to sunrise which I would love to watch with you, unless if you wish to play more music... He thought and stood up. Luna smiled as she replaced the violin and modestly accepted the audience's praise. She appeared pleasantly surprised when they were gifted a trophy, though in reality she had no need for one.

"The decision is yours, my lady," Elias said charmingly to Luna after he had translated to her what the host had said.

Luna replied, while 'adjusting her dress'. Let us leave here, if you do not mind. It does not matter what the audience wishes. I wish to see the sun rise over the Eiffel Tower once more, before we must depart. We will have plenty of time to catch up sleep later, on the ride home. she finished as her hand left the brooch. Though, out loud she spoke "Whatever you wish.", so as not to appear awkward by answering his question with silence. This has been lovely. she thought to herself, Even if I do not care for Elias himself, I genuinely enjoy dancing and playing music with him in such harmony.

Let us leave here, if you do not mind. It does not matter what the audience wishes. I wish to see the sun rise over the Eiffel Tower once more, before we must depart. We will have plenty of time to catch up sleep later, on the ride home, Luna thought to Elias and then spoke aloud:

"As you wish."

Elias nodded smilingly towards Luna and then excused them both politely at the same time as he thanked the host for this great opportunity. They strode out from the ballroom and Elias nodded politely to every guest who highly praised him and Luna. As soon as they set their feet outside the castle they apparated back to the hotel.

"You may keep the trophy," Elias said smilingly to Luna as he put the trophy in her hands. "You deserve it, my dear. Words cannot describe how thankful and happy I am for this opportunity. I could not have wished for a better moment as I enjoy playing music with you." He caressed her check lovingly and then led her to the balcony where they sat down in the comfortable hammock swing.

He levitated one box of chocolate, which he placed in her lap while he put his arm around her shoulders, and two goblets of sparkling moon water, each goblet placed on coasters which magically hovered in the air close to them.

They shared the box of chocolate together as they sipped the sparkling moon water, and Elias let Luna had most of the chocolate as usual, while they enjoyed and admired the view of the sun rising over the Eiffel tower.

This time he embraced her and kissed her forehead before he slurred that they won't depart until afternoon and fell asleep with her in his arms.

Elias nodded smilingly towards Luna and then excused them both politely from the ball. As they made their way toward the exit, Luna thanked the host as well as she could in English. "Thank you very much for the lovely ball." she smiled. The host waved back politely, though she was sure he had understood nothing. They apparated away, back to the hotel.

"You may keep the trophy," Elias said as he gave Luna the trophy. "You deserve it, my dear. Words cannot describe how thankful and happy I am for this opportunity. I could not have wished for a better moment as I enjoy playing music with you." He caressed her check lovingly.

"Thank you-" she smiled, before putting the trophy on the table. "However, i honestly have no need for a trophy. Perhaps it would be better suited to remain in your possession." she smiled politely as he led her to the balcony.

He levitated wine and chocolate to them, and they enjoyed them while watching the lovely sunset.

The chocolate is still the best I have ever tasted. I wonder if there is a spell to analyze the ingredients in a heavenly food, in order to re-create it. I will research something of the kind when I return home.

They watched the sun rise together in silence, enjoying every moment. He neared her, and this time he only kissed her forehead gently.

Looks like that was how far he was willing to go. I am thankful. she smiled as he mumbled something about departures and the afternoon. He then fell asleep in her arms, and Luna felt slightly foolish. It's my fault, I assume. . .for keeping him up all night. Well, I will admit I feel weary as well, but I couldn't sleep here for the life of he. I am so happy, yet I do not wish to leave. I couldn't sleep now, with my thoughts running like this. I know what to do. She gently levitated him back to his bed, and covered him with the silk sheets. She then went to her bedroom, and took out a reserve energizing potion, which she drank beside a sleeping Nagini. She used her spy mirror to show her the hotel kitchens, where employees were already bustling. She used the mirror to change from her ball gown to a plain white dress with rolled-up sleeves, similar to the ones the female chefs used in the kitchens. She left their suite, taking her spy mirror, Show me the hallway that leads to this hotel's kitchens. she whispered. She eventually found that hallway, then followed it to where the chefs and cooks where buzzing about the kitchen. She used her mirror to find a few basic things, like the fridge and the spices, then tucked it into her pocket.
Everyone too busy to recognize her, and she moved in between them effortlessly. She made a lovely omelet, and a loaf of olive bread, whilst oranges juiced themselves. She smiled as she split everything into two separate portions, then wrapped them. She walked out, then returned to their suite, still unnoticed. She lay Elias's portion on the dining table, then cast her usual spell for it to remain warm. She left a note for him, explaining politely that she had made breakfast, and would be out in the gardens when he awoke.

By the time she was finished Nagini was awake again, having properly slept throughout the night, and she took the serpent and her portion into the gardens by way of smoke. She cast a spell to make the food stay put in mid-air, as if it were on an invisible table, while she sat on a bench near a fountain to enjoy it. Nagini sat coiled near her, enjoying being outside. "I almost forgot." she smiled, as she levitated a piece of raw steak toward Nagini. "Thank you." Nagini said happily before she bit into it. They ate in silence, enjoying the loveliness of the food, and before long then had finished. She sent the plates back to the kitchen, using a tricky spell that would keep them invisible until they were properly washed and dried and returned to their places. They conversed about Luna's experience, and Elias joined them at around twelve- thirty. "Good morning." she smiled, standing to greet him.

Elias woke up at noon and was surprised to find himself in his bed when he had no memories of what had happened in the dawn. He remembered that he had watched the sunrise with Luna. And then?...what happened then?... He massaged his temples gently as he tried to remember but he could only remember that he had hugged and kissed her in the early morning. He rose up quickly to find that he had been sleeping in the same clothes which he had been wearing at the ball. After washing his face with cold water and brushing his teeth he looked for Luna in their suite and found a package with a note at the dining table. He stared at the note and wondered if Luna had really been serious about preparing breakfast on her own. After thirty minutes when he had finished his meal he walked down to the gardens.

"Good morning, dear," He greeted Luna with a smile.

"Good morning." she smiled, standing to greet him.

He opened his mouth and was about to ask if she had been sleeping well but then closed his mouth as he felt very foolishly when he noticed it in her eyes. I can tell that she had not been sleeping this morning...... "Why my dear?" He took hold of her hands and caressed them gently. "It was delicious, thank you, but why did you bother yourself with cooking when you could have taken a good rest?"

"Elias." she laughed briefly as if he wasn't being serious. "I am glad you enjoyed the breakfast. However, " she resumed her serious tone "I am sure you can imagine that the knowledge of today's departure would have kept me awake. Thus," she stood, smiling "I did not even give an attempt at rest. Now-" she checked her watch, "seeing as it was already twelve-thirty, and you mentioned departure at afternoon, should we not be preparing to leave?"

"Oh...you are a little anxious about the departure, aren't you? And yes, it is time to leave soon. You just need to pack your trunk and try not to tidy or clean anything, please." Elias laughed. "The staff of this hotel will take care of that kind of work."

An hour later they were both standing in front of the magical carriage outside the hotel after that Elias had checked out. He levitated their trunks and helped Luna to step inside the carriage.

"You may take as much time you need to rest now..," He smiled when they had left Paris somewhere below them and were up in the clouds. "..because we will arrive sometime in the morning."

Luna nodded, her face expressionless. "I shall be ready in an hour. " she said as she walked off, hiding Nagini in her chef's shirt.

Later

"You may take as much time you need to rest now..," He smiled when they had left Paris somewhere below them and were up in the clouds. "..because we will arrive sometime in the morning."

"Understood." she said as she made her way to her room. She closed the door without another word, and fell asleep fully dressed. She slept with Nagini at her side for several hours, until she awoke at five in the morning the next day, fully awake and aware that Paris was now far away. She got ready, and put on a plain yet elegant black gown. She sat down to read by the light of a lamp until it was light enough to turn it off. Once it was seven she left her room, to find Elias already awake. "Good morning." she smiled.

"The plan is changed. We should strike immediately today and lock them all up. You will still be grouped as four, so you'll have advantages when you approach each of them. Any questions before you all go ahead...no?..well, please take care and best of the luck to with this mission...this time we won't fail..."

The magical carriage landed outside Luna's manor around five o'clock in the morning and Elias was waiting patiently in the small parlor, not wanting to disturb Luna. When the clock struck seven, she finally walked out from her bedroom.

"Good morning." she smiled.

"Good morning, my dear," Elias replied smilingly. "Did you sleep well?" He opened the doors to the carriage, helped her down the steps and levitated her trunk outside. He even took his time to levitate it inside her manor. When he was done and the carriage was once magically put away, he neared her, as close as he dared.

"The time went so fast, it feels like it was yesterday we travelled to Paris. It was indeed a lovely and joyous time, memorable moments which I always will cherish." He smiled as he stroked her cheek gently. "I have to take my leave now, if there's anything you need just send me a message through your brooch and I'll be at your service." He kissed her lips gently before stepping backward as he bid her farewell and apparated away to his home.

Elias surprised his parents with the box of lovely chocolate at the breakfast before leaving for a usual day at work.

"Are you not going to eat something?" His mother called out.

"I am not really hungry, mother, but thank you." Elias replied as he flashed a smile towards his parents before apparating away.

He had just apparated in front of the Ministry of Magic and strode inside, when the guards seized him and brought him to the second floor all of sudden. What the bloody hell is this all about? Elias was too astonished to speak because he had not expected this. Something which he had not noticed earlier was that there had been many more guards than usual at the entrance. The so-called guards who had seized him, were actually no guards but aurors who had been disguised. They pushed him harshly inside a room and blindfolded him.

"Your wand, Shadowwalker."

What the bloody hell, if I only had stayed a little more at Luna or a little more at home...I guess I have no choice now... He thought as he handed over his wand calmly and silently, yet he was feeling very angry deep inside. His hand immediately went to his brooch and he thought his last thoughts to Luna: Don't send me any message with your brooch and not even owls or Patronus..I am sorry, but for your own safety, my dear..

One of the aurors caught a glimpse of Elias' movement and took a grip of his hand-wrist. Elias relaxed his hand. He had no intention to attack but only to warn Luna. They tied his hands behind his back, and he felt how his brooch was snatched away. What next happened was that he was pushed to the right and left as the aurors who had seized him walked away with him. In one moment, he heard a lot of voices and clicking sounds and in the next moment he was thrown inside a cold place. His blindfold was removed, and he noticed that he was not alone, but had company with several other young deatheaters who he recognized.

"Great work everyone" Mr Shacklebolt praised the aurors. "Now remember not to tell Miss Monroe or Miss Blackwood about this. The news will be soon published, with pictures of these young deatheaters at the front page, and announced this afternoon so let it be a surprise for them both. I want to see how they will react and depending on how they do, it will give us a lot of information about them without the need of interrogating them or the need of trying to use veritaserum. And perhaps this will also force the dark mistress out from her hideaway. Trials will be starting tomorrow, and you will, still in same groups, bring one by one here to the ministry."

"Good morning, my dear," Elias replied smilingly. "Did you sleep well?"

"Wonderfully." she replied, wide awake.

He politely put her trunk in her room by magic, then came very close to her.

"The time went so fast, it feels like it was yesterday we traveled to Paris. It was indeed a lovely and joyous time, memorable moments which I always will cherish." He smiled as he stroke her cheek gently. "I have to take my leave now, if there's anything you need just send me a message through your brooch and I'll be at your service."

"Thank you." she smiled as they kissed one last time. With any luck, I won't have to see him for at least another week. It has been enjoyable, but he is getting so comfortable as to kiss me whenever he feels. . .imagine what else he may become comfortable with. The thought is repelling. she thought as he backed away, bidding her farewell. "Farewell." she replied, before he evaporated into smoke.

Meanwhile

Raven sat on a cloud, and watched as Elias's wand was taken. Oh my. Luna will surely need my assistance now. she thought as she stood, and prepared to fly to Luna's manor.

Later

Don't send me any messages with your brooch, and not even owls or patronus...I am sorry, but for your own safety, my dear..

"What?!!" Luna said, startled by the sudden message. She dropped the book she had been reading, then stood to pace.

"That means he isn't in a good place." Nagini said in reply.

"What do I do? Try to. . . " she trailed off as she summoned her spy mirror.

"It looks as if he's in the Ministry's custody." she said, not taking her eyes off the men in uniform who were transporting a blindfolded and bound Elias.

"I am unsure of how to react. I assume that staging a 'rescue' would be. .. " she paced as she thought.

"Exactly what they wish for Luna Lestrange to do." Nagini said.

"And, it seems-" Luna looked at her mirror again as she saw him thrown into a holding place "There are several people, but only one of which I recognize. Elias has done nothing wrong. . .and there are too many people to have been accused of all working together. .. . that means they all have one thing in common. " she stopped pacing for a moment. "Slytherins!" she smiled "And Eve Blackwood is not there. I wonder what will happen if I show up to work now. . . "

"A test?" Nagini said nonchalantly "To see if anyone in their ranks is deceiving them. An incident targeted at Slytherins is important to-"

"Spies who would support Voldemort's daughter." Luna finished. "Well then-" she smiled maliciously "I will go to the Ministry. There is no logical reason for Miss Blackwood to avoid it, considering this event is not in the news. When I am questioned, I will tell the tale of a love-struck lady-" she placed her hand dramatically on her head "That has fallen in love with a Slytherin. I will demand to see Elias. There will be nothing wrong with that, because-" she smiled as she stood to pick up her disguise mirror "Lily Potter fell in love with Severus Snape!" she mocked the deceased fools "To this day," she said as she changed from Luna to Eve "No one, not even Potter himself, is sure whether James is really Potter's father." she laughed.

She took anything suspicious from her bag immediately, and took extra care to place her brooch in a noticeable place.

By the time she used smoke to leave her manor, Raven landed in Luna's garden to find that she had been too late.

"Good morning." she said to the guards, as usual.

On her way to Elias's office, she noticed the extra security.

Act calm, nothing is wrong that you should know of.

"Good morning." she said joyously to Harry as she passed to go to Elias's office.

This is the time. she smiled as she pulled out her basket of muffins. The time for the most dramatic scene I can pull off. This will be fun.

She knocked on Elias's door, to no reply.

Of course. Once more, in case they are watching. I will assume they are.

"Excuse me, Elias?" she said with a confused face as she knocked once more.

"I wonder what he is so busy doing." she said worriedly.

"Excuse me." she said politely to Harry. "I cannot seem to get a hold of a friend. I also noticed extra guards." she said, her words quickening nervously "Is there something wrong? I am quite worried." she finished, taking out a handkerchief to mop her brow. "Please." she said, dramatically begging for his help.
