Nohren Hart
After having spent a good amount of time examining the Akuman delegates and their entourage, Nohrne has had his fill. He had to ensure that his own escorts were performing their duties as instructed, and if they were then they should have stationed themselves on the third floor of the embassy beside his quarters. Both him and his guards, still tailing him close behind, stepped up the stairs of the embassy, rising to the floor designated for Jareedi representatives. His guards seemed to have just finished bringing his belongings to his room and Nohren was very pleased with them.
"I want two guardsmen outside the door to my chambers for the duration of this trip. I will not risk allowing thieves or miscreants disturb even a single thing within. Shift rotation shall be as normal, just make sure no unauthorized individuals pass in and out of where I'm going to rest my head at night. Captain Zadaem," the prince calls to a decorated guard amongst the bunch. The large man takes a step forward and stands at attention before Nohren. The prince offers a genuine smile. This man has stood beside him through many an expedition and has saved his life more times than he can remember. Zadaem taught him how to survive beyond the walls of a city and even taught him how to take a life when necessary. The Captain was to thank for making him strong. "Captain, from now on, you will be my personal escort. You will be at my side at all times. Everyone else shall tend to their duties and mingle amongst staff. Take a well deserved break after our travels, but remain vigilant. I don't trust a single person here to not make a scene eventually."
Nohren decides to return to the main halls of the embassy, descending the stairs once again, but this time with Captain Zadaem in tow. He takes another look back at the aging old man. Though his hair had turned white during their time together, the man still had strength in his body, and Nohren knows that he still has it in him to take on any number of strong warriors still. Nohren had faith that, alone, Captain Zadaem would have his back and prevent anything terrible from happening.
The prince and the captain enter the main halls and look about. Zadaem runs a hand along his beard, watching as people from Maho and Jareedi scramble about and try to continue to make things presentable for the arriving nobles. The captain chuckles. "Things already seem immaculate enough as it is, but they're still polishing every last surface," he says, watching as someone had rushed on by while simultaneously trying to pay his respects to the young prince whom raises a hand of pardon in response. "They are all busy and need as few distractions or obstacles as possible. It doesn't help that all of their important guests are arriving all at once. Bound to have caused a bit of panic. I just can't wait for the party to truly get started. Everything has been so fun already."
