Flora froze for a second when he had warned her once again as he gently tugged her hand back to almost repeat the action he had just done. "I-Itzal-" Biting her lip, she avoided his gaze. He played her like a fiddle and drove her absolutely crazy. But yet here she was, allowing him to treat her in such ways and not even trying to stop him. This was the price she had to pay for something she was enjoying even if she hadn't admitted it yet. "I... I plead the fifth..." Thankfully the waitress came by with their drinks and their food and let them both know that they could call out to her if they need her before skedaddling. As much as the Doe didn't want to pull from his hand, they had to in order to start eating and then get on the road. So slowly but surely she began to pull her hand from his warm one. Luckily he had no qualms and let her go as she then began to eat her delicious breakfast.

The Fanus was quiet majority of the time, enjoying the sweetness of the fruit, the fluffiness of the waffle. Life was great even if it was for just a small time. They made some small talk and spoke about their plan afterwards before heading out. Once their breakfast came to an end, the pair went into a nearby shop where they gathered just simple things that'll help them get along in their journey over to the east and back home. A Map, two blankets, snacks, some water, batteries for a flashlight, rope and tarp. Just enough to fit all into one bag and make it easy for transportation. Looking at the open map in front of her, Flora pulled the cap off a marker and Xed off where they were "So we're here, we'd have to go in this direction to avoid Beacon and the city. It will add more time but we really have no choice in the matter."

Folding the Map back up, she put the cap on the marker and looked at Itzal "This'll start our first Adventure together. A real adventure."

Itzal released a suffocated chuckle as he let Flora's hand slip out of his own. "Uh huh," He murmured cheekily as their breakfast was set down. Giving a brief nod to the waitress, Itzal didn't waste much time to devour his food. It was like his first time in the cafeteria at Beacon. Albeit then he was shocked by the food quality and options. Here, he was just famished. He supposed he had gotten at least a little bit spoiled. He couldn't recall when he was on the run before that he ever stopped anywhere and just enjoyed some food. His eyes glanced up to Flora as he ate. It seemed the food had the same effect on her, which caused a small smile to surface on his face. Though he didn't spend too much time looking at her less she tried to hide behind the pancake she was eating.

Itzal moved somewhat lethargically as they picked up supplies. He perused some items, picking up a lighter, some gauze, alcohol—they had aura, but shit happened. They also needed to restock on dust, which was in strained supply given the recent events.

Moseying up next to her as she unfolded the map, Itzal tilted his head as she began marking off a route. He gave a small nod followed by a shrug. "Well, not like we can do anything about it unless we wanna get eaten," He mused nonchalantly as he stepped back, grabbing the pack with the supplies and slinging it over his shoulder. "Yup. It's the real deal now, Flor. No pancakes every day..." He teased her a bit, though sounded more disappointed than either of them. "Just Grimm and relentless teasing."

Flora puffed up her cheeks "Listen, I know I like pancakes and stuff but I know when I cant have any!" With a pout she began to walk "I'm just gonna be sad we cant have anymore for a while... I hope my money is enough to at least get us far enough. Otherwise we're gonna have to hunt more than just Grimm." And she didn't feel like being guilty of eating innocent wildlife... Maybe fish? Fish wasn't as depressing...Right? Looking over her shoulder, the Doe continued to speak "You're gonna put me in the grave with all that teasing you know! And I got nothing to get back at you with!" Not like she could become immediately tipsy and begin flirting with him to make him crumble like she did before. Not that she wanted to become tipsy or drunk...It made her unable to fulfill her promise of taking care of him!

The doe continued to march forward, making the distance between them slowly grow larger. "We should probably figure out how to train in between our travel too. Cant let our skills get dull. Gotta sharpen them. Become stronger just so we don't get our butts kicked. Cant be grimm food thank you very much!" With a little bit of a skip to her step, her golden eyes looked everywhere but at Itzal in fear that he'd make her all nervous again. To her, she felt as if there was more going on than they pretended to be. That they'd walk this line and neither would cross it unless there was certain criteria met. She wondered if one day they'd ever cross lines. But it was something she shouldn't hold onto. Not when they had to survive and protect one another.

Itzal smirked almost proudly as Flora pouted to his teasing, though it dissipated for a moment as she mentioned her concerns about funds. It was much more sustainable if she only had to worry about herself, but he tried to shove such thoughts out of his head. He had money too. He could avoid feeling guilty if he just spent his own in tandem. He rolled his shoulder to get more comfortable with the pack of supplies slung over it before looking at her smugly. "Aww, I'm sure you'll learn, Flor. Or you could put some of that money towards the alcohol budget," He teased her further as he followed along, speeding up to keep up with her pace.

"We can just train when we stop moving each day," Itzal suggested with a slightly disinterested shrug. He was never all that interested in training. Back at Beacon, he was the type to 'train' by watching others. Of course, there was a reason why he was never the strongest person there. "We've handled Grimm before... We just can't deal with an army," He added simply.

Seeing as she seemed to get a bit faster, he frowned a bit and hastened his own pace as well to catch up to her. "Buuut... if we have to, then we should at least not waste the dust we still have. The Atlesians aren't going to make that golden goose cheap..." He commented with a slight groan before tilting his head to look down at Flora as he reached her. "Course if we do have to hunt... we'll have to forgo training depending on how long it takes... You gonna be okay with that?"
