Fantasy The Experiment

She had seen most of them eat at least a little bit of the meat, and some of them even bothered to cook it first. Her dark eyes followed as some of them disappeared back into the house again, one girl being carried on the back of the massive tiger. With an internal eye roll the observer questioned just how fragile this past year had made them? Or perhaps they had been held for more than a year? She wasn't sure. Watching them wouldn't give her that answer either, at least, not from this distance. She had already been loosing the battle with herself over not going in the house, her desperation for a hot bath driving her a bit crazy. She stood up, exposing her self to the night, and silently slinked her way from shadow to shadow up to the massive house.

On the porch she peered through the window, to see if anyone was there, immediately behind the door or in the foyer. She could see people still about in the kitchen from here, but the entry seemed devoid of life so she slowly, quietly turned the door knob and slipped in, not even bothering to close the door behind her, for fear that someone would hear it latch. From the front door the stairs were easy to find and she darted up them, only the pads of her small feet hitting the floor, and only briefly. She stopped just shy of the top of the stairs, and listened for others. She knew that the tiger, one of the girls and, was it the cat? Had gone back into the house, but wasn't sure where in the construct they had gone. Very carefully she focused her energy, and tuffts of fur sprouted from her head (much in the way that she had seen the Hawk-Boy do with his wings) and used her much larger ears to listen more carefully.

"Put her on the bed."

The voices came from down the hall, a bed room on the left hand side, so she crept down the hall way on the right, in the opiset direction. Down that hall she managed a linen closet, and raided it for a towel, and a sheet hoping to make some kind of make shift dress out of the latter. Not liking the feel of fabric on her fur, she rid herself of the scrub type gown they had all been given by the scientist as soon as she left her cage. As a fawn, it hadn't mattered, but she had been nude since changing back into her original skin. She had been thankful no one had spotted her yet, as she felt there would be some kind of commotion at her 'condition'. Right now it was making her even more egar for that bath as it had gotten colder as the sun began to set-cold enough when not clothed at least. She continued down that hall way and managed to find a bathroom at the very end of the hall, around a corner and out of direct sight from the stairs. She slipped in and locked the door, not wanting to be interrupted, but expecting to be, and started running the water.

Sam was checking out what was in the cabinets under the counter when he heard the door open. He turned and hid behind the island counter and watched as a girl he hadn't yet seen sleuthed inside. His first instinct was to attack her, but he needed to be more logical. He silently followed her and smelled the air. He thought she smelled like them, but the smell was all over the house now and had faded from most people directly. She ran from the top of the stairs and Sam followed to the top and watched her. Soon enough she entered a room he thought was a bathroom based on his previous exploration of the house. He contemplated his options and decided to tell Lucas.

"Lucas" Sam said entering the room. "There is a new girl here, and I'm not sure if I trust her." He didn't wait for a response and headed down to the closed, and he assumed locked, door. He knocked saying "Hello? Who's in there?"

Sasha woke up in the strange room, wondering if they had moved her. She had a bad headace and her sight was blurry. She stood up and started to explore her new prision. It was bigger then the last one, which made her happy. She even had a window, but she didn't try to break it, exepting that she couldn't. And even if she could, she was on the second floor and would probably break her legs if she jumped down.

Sasha is having a temporary ammnesia, which you can get after passing out. She doesn't remember anything that have happend in this role play. She will remember again when sombody says what have happend or even their name, but untill then she will treat everybody as scientist.

Lucas put down Sasha carefully on the pile of pillows that Ari prepared for him, before going back into his human form. He reached out his hand and petted Ari's hair, he began to feel a warm feeling towards Ari, and he dared to open up. It felt great to have her around him. "Thank you Ari. You're the best!" Lucas praised her before Sam entered the room, telling that a new girl had entered the house. Personally he felt it was great to have more of them here, but it seemed as Sam was a bit more skeptical towards the new girl than he was. Before Lucas had the chance to ask him why or how he knew, he had already disappeared towards the bathroom. The sound of running water, tempted his tiger to go and take a bath, but he wanted a large lake, to run around in. Except his human form was scared of water, as he had a bad accident with water once. Sam gently knocked on the door, waiting for a response and the last thing Lucas wanted to was to barge in, especially since it was the bathroom.

"Sam, shouldn't we wait until... you know... the person in the bathroom is... finished?" Lucas asked, as he felt they were being a bit pushy towards the person inside the bathroom, trustworthy or not, they could at least get the chance to finish up.

Sasha continued to look around in the room. There was a door, but she didn't try if it was locked. It was always locked, they never forgot to lock it. She spotted a camera in the ceiling pointing at her bed. It was as in the last place.

There was a table in the room, but it wasn't the table that was so intresting. It was something on the wall under the table. She crawled under it to look what it was. It was small scratches. She realised what it was, it was that way of counting that prisioners used to count days with. It was alot of scratches. She stood up to search for more signs of the prisioner before her, but "Bang!" she banged her head in the table, making her lie on the floor in pain.

Sam looked at Lucas with a quizzical look. "You honestly expected me to bare into a bathroom with a naked girl in it? I just want basic information. It gives a sense of security, and I can check it with her later and see if she changed anything. Just so were clear, I'm not going in." There was a loud bang from Sasha's room. He looked at Lucas and said "Go. I'll see if I can get a response. If I can't, then I'll wait for her to leave like a normal person. And by that I mean not waiting outside the door."

Lucas nodded to Sam's suggested, and hurried down the stairs to find Sasha, once again passed out on the floor. Quickly examining her, it seemed as she had hit her head against the table, luckily it didn't look too bad. It was slightly bleeding a bit, but it was only a small bruise. He quickly carried her back into Ari's room, and down on the bed. This time he didn't leave, but he did rip a piece of his shirt and tied it around Sasha's head tightly, but not too tight as he grabbed a chair and sat down beside her. Hopefully stopping her before she left the room this time. "You know, I feel like I'm babysitting you Sasha..." Lucas joked to himself, as he stared outside the window, hoping that she would wake up soon.

Ari's cheeks turned a bit pink as he patted her head. She smiled at him before he walked out to retrieve Sasha again after she started wandering around. Ari sighed and looked at her. She sighed and went to sit next to Lucas. She was a bit tired still and was keen to take a nap. She transformed and jumped on to the windowsill, sitting down in the sun.

Sam headed back to his room and turned into a wolf so he could hear better. Unfortunately, he soon fell asleep. He wondered what the point of all this was. To create a new breed of super humans? Their tactics were poor if so. Maybe they just wanted to test human limits. So many questions ran through his head. (I'm not going to be on for several days, so just make sure Sam stays in the forest exploring for a long time. He can also cook if you need him too.)

Alex walked outside. They needed to know where they were, and he could do it. He shifted into a hawk and began to fly, the wind in his wings. They lived in a forest, and it was heavily guarded. Damn it! They couldn't escape, but they could sure as hell try.

(He'll be up there for a while. So I'll leave this alone, and come back, edit, in a couple hours.)

After what seemed like hours, the large clawed foot tub finally filled up, and the dark skinned girl was able to get in. She sank in, comforted by hearing the voices out side the door reason to deal with her later. Though the door was locked, she could not put it past them to be able to break the door in. So she was glad to hear that they weren't interested in barging in on her precious bath.

She would have to thank them later, though she wasn't sure who had spoke. She had heard them call each other by name but would be hard pressed to know which face belonged to 'Sam' or 'Lucas'. Though her fawn ears were excellent, she had been perched too far away to recognise their voices.

That immediate matter taken care of, she allowed herself to melt into the hot water. For the first time in three years she was able to let her guard down and not think. Silent tears of mixed and repressed emotions streamed her face. She longed for her days as a dancer, dazzling her friends and instructors with her flawless step and graceful movements. Days long gone, never to return, no matter how much she burned for them.

She dunked her head under the water, to get her long, soft hair wet, noticing she still had fawn ears. She had forgotten to get rid of them and found the quite comfortable, and twice as useful. Breaching the water she looked around the large bathroom, scanning the shelves for soap. She was lucky. Not only was there soap, but real shampoo and conditioner, too. In feminine and masculine scents. It was almost like a hotel in here.

She carefully washed her newly accepted ears, being especially cautious to not leaving any soap in them, then washed her hair. While it was still wet she pulled it back into a tight braid, to keep it from tangling. She let her self soak all the physical stress of and some of the emotional weariness as well before getting out of the tub.

"Hey... Ari..." Lucas started as he looked over to where the white cat was sitting in the window still. His heart was beating crazy fast, and he needed to collect his thoughts before taking a deep breath to continue his sentence. "I really appreciated your help yesterday, and thank you for being my friend. Despite my animal form... it means a lot to know a beast like me can get someone like you as their friend..." Lucas said as his cheek turned slightly red as he told her this, and he made sure to not face Ari, as he was embarrassed. His tiger ears and tail popped out as Lucas was unaware of this, they usually would whenever he got embarrassed. However, he wanted to thank her as knowing he could get friends, despite them knowing his animal form, was great. Sasha's reaction was still imprinted in his mind, as she had been terrified. It was the normal reaction he would get, but Ari wasn't scared. It gave him some relief knowing that.

Ari transformed back to her human form. She giggled at his tail and ears. "Your welcome." Ari said, her face turning a bit pink. She was getting a bit embarrassed. Her heart was beating faster than before. Her tail curled out from under her and touched his ears. She quickly drew it back to her body, her face now an even darker shade of red. She looked downward, her face on fire.

Alright. They lived in a forest, but there were guards everywhere. Damn! Alex almost thought they were gone, but they weren't. Maybe they could find a way to escape. Alex flew slowly back to the house. Where was Nina? Since he left, she hadn't shown up! He walked in, and looked for food. It was a long day, and he was exploring the house. He decided that the ceilings were high. He would just hang in the rafters for now, but he was really tired. He rested, keeping an ear open for conversation.

(Hey, do we need to sleep in the RP?)

(I mean you don't have to "sleep" per say, if it gets to a point I'll push it to the next day)

Lily transforms back into her human form after eating her steak deciding to find a room in the house to get a bath or shower. It had been a while since she was able to have a relaxing wash that wasn't forced upon her. She pushes her red hair behind her ear shyly, looking at the others, taking note of them as she went through.

Lucas' ears twitched once Ari's soft tail touched his and he quickly turned around, giving Ari a surprised and a flustered look. However he noticed that Ari's face was quite red as well. She had not become sick had she? Quickly placing his hand gently on Ari's forehead, and his other hand on his own forehead, as he tried to measure the temperatures, but they felt as if they were the same. "Have you caught a fever?" Lucas asked, a bit concerned as his face was equally red, if not a bit more, to Ari's.

"N-no. I'm fine." Ari said. Her face probably looked like a tomato at this point. She had her tail in her hands, her face flushed bright red. Her heart was pounding to the point that it sounded like it would jump out of her chest at any moment. She couldn't scoot back, seeing as she was flush against the wall. She just stared at him, stuttering beside all her might not to.

Sasha woke up, horrified when she noticed that two persons sat in her room.

"No! Nonononono...Please! Go away! I don't want more tests! No more needles...please...please." She started to cry but soon she shifted to her snake form. She hissed at them and rised from the bed. She also threateningly opened her mouth showing her fangs, getting ready to inject her deadly poison. They were going to pay for what they did to her.

Lucas looked quickly over to Sasha, who suddenly woke up, and put himself between her and Ari. The least he could do was to make sure Ari didn't get bit, as she was seemingly a snake. Needles? Why would... wait... did she think they did this to her? "Sasha! Calm down! We're not here to hurt you! We're your friends! You hit your head, and hurt yourself. You may suffer from memory loss," Lucas said in a calm voice, and carefully backed a bit away from her as he gently pushed Ari more and more backwards, to avoid to be bit. In case she decided to launch an attack, but his body should endure it the longest, as he had a stronger and bigger body. Plus, if he needed he would show Sasha, the fearful tiger side of him. The only thing Lucas knew, was that he didn't want Ari to get hurt, not even the air around her would be hurt under his watch.

Ari's face burned. Her face was pressed against his back. She tried to speak some words to Sasha but her vocal chords failed her once again. All she could do was stand there behind Lucas and stutter. She flushed again, her face burning. She was so embarrassed right now. She thought a bit about the snake in front of Lucas. She shuttered a bit when she thought about the snake venom.

I-I hit my head? Memory loss? Th-they don't want to hurt me? Sasha shifted back to her human form and instantly recognised Ari and Lucas.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I didn't bite you, didn't I? I'm extremely venomous but they should have some antidote here, they had it at the last place...I'm so sorry, I didn't recognise you and I thought that I were back and you were scientists and...and..." She noticed that she spoke a lot, and even though she spoke very fast she were just wasting time. The venom worked quickly. She pulled herself toghether.

"We have to get some of that antidote, we don't have that much time. It should be in the fridge, come on!" She said as she rushed downstairs and started searching through the refrigerator.

"S- Sasha! You didn't bite either one of us, relax. We're fine," Lucas reassured her, walking down the stairs to the kitchen to join up with her. It was lucky that she remembered though, just a few seconds later and he might have been bit. It's not as if he hadn't been injected with a lot of weird stuff, but poison? He couldn't even imagine the amount of pain he would feel running through his veins. "More importantly are you okay?" Lucas asked, pointing to the blow she took to the head due to her hitting the table. He had ripped a part of his shirt, as the bathroom was occupied at the time, to patch her head up and it seemed as the bleeding had stopped, even though it wasn't anything big, Lucas wanted to make sure Sasha was all right.

Sasha didn't belive him when he said he was okay. The venom had some creepy feature that tricked the victim that it wasn't bit. She scanned Lucas's neck and wrists were she probably had bit him. He said something but it surely wasn't as important as this so she didn't listen and just answered a "Mm-hm..." While countinuing to look for her bitemarks on him. She didn't see any so she started to look for Ari to make sure that she was fine to.

"I-I'm fine." Ari said when Sasha started inspecting her. She was glad that she hadn't noticed Lucas standing protectively in front of her. She was a bit embarrassed by the whole ordeal. Her cheeks were still a bit pink from the whole thing. She smiled at Sasha. "I am just fine." Ari said, revealing her uncut wrists.

Lucas was not the type to put himself in front of anyone else, as Sasha began examining his neck and his wrists for bite marks, he only let out a sigh. It seemed as she was very certain she would have bit him, but if he believed anyone here was a scientist, he probably would have done worse than just bite to say the very least. "Sasha, I asked... are you okay?" Lucas repeated, as he gave Sasha a gentle knock on her poorly bandaged head, with a piece of his shirt. His shirt looked a bit silly now, but it was more important to take care of each other when they were in a group.
