School ended at Thornendale High school, and the teens were heading out. As they exited the classrooms, only few heard the doors to the outside world lock. Suddenly, the PA system began to buzz. ' For those who are within this school...' the voice said. 'We have all now begun a game which only time can tell the result. It contains of 2 components; to kill, or to be killed. The objective is to kill the one who has a timer on them before the time runs out. If you want to call anyone, there's no use; the phone service is blocked. And there is no where you can run, as all exits are locked. Now... Happy playing!' The voice stopped on the PA.

As the school bell rang showing the end of the week and the beginning of the weekend, I ran out of the classroom as fast as I could, to get to that sale that was almost over. I ran to my locker, got my stuff, and started heading towards the front doors that would lead me to the weekend. As I grabbed the handle of the door, I heard a 'click'. I tried to open it, and the door wouldn't budge. That 'click' could only come from a door... THAT door locking. I pulled the handle back and forth, hoping that this was just a joke, or an evil prank played by one of the students... but boy was I wrong. I hen began to bang on the door window as I saw a person pass by. I knocked and knocked on the window, hoping for that pedestrian to notice me, but the pedestrian did not move his head in the slightest in my direction. In desperation, I looked up to the ceiling, hoping to get an idea. Instead of an idea, I noticed something. The lights began to flicker on and off, as though a power outage was occurring. I heard some others screaming in the background, most probably just realised the fact that there was no way out. All of the doors were locked, and jumping from the second story was nearly impossible. I hoped and prayed that there was some sort of exit and hope for us. That's when the PA started to quiver, and a voice emerged from it.
