Diana Young / Abigail Black Coat
Diana had a worried on her face, looking at Elliot with scared eyes before he said yes, her smile instantly returning back to her as she pulled herself closer to him, planting a light kiss on his cheek. Abigail smiled lightly at the both of them before she let out a short laugh, "Don't worry Elliot, Diana cares for you enough that if I let you get hurt she'd stab me, or try to at least," She said in a cheeky tone before she went back to working on the arm, a look of worry before turning into annoyance before anger all appearing at once as she looked over a specific part.

Diana smiled lightly back at Abigail before she looked back at Elliot, leaning into him as she let out a sigh, a smile still on her face, "Hey Elliot? What's your favorite game you have?" She said looking up at Elliot, an intrigued look painted on her face as Abigail made an annoyed groan, "Diana, when was the last time you actually cleaned your arm?" She said giving the arm one more look over before placing it down, "The arm is working, so you have nothing to worry about, but it's dirty. Clean it sooner or later or I will take it back to my room and you won't see it for a week," She said a smirk painted on her face, Diana turning her head back to Abigail with a scared look in her eyes, "Y-Yeah ok..." She said gulping loudly at the thought of losing her arm for a week.
Elliot blinked a few times after he was kissed on the cheek before smiling a little, glad him agreeing had cheered her up. His mind couldn't help thinking what exactly he had agreed to get himself into though...It would probably be fine...probably.

His thoughts were cut with Abigail speaking to him...was she trying to reassured him? If she was it wasn't exactly convincing mostly because he was sure Abigail still disliked him a great deal and probably wouldn't hesitate to beat the crap out of him if she felt like it, even with the possibility of Diana coming after her. He gave a weary smile in Abigail's direction before Diana had asked about his games.

Turning his attention to the girl he had around currently, he tilted his head a little. Waiting until the joining around about Diana's atm was over before answering "That's a tough question, I like so many of them" he admitted with a slight laugh, though her question did move his mind off the whole, getting beaten up thing pretty well. "I do like this one?" He asked freeing one arm just to lift a game box of the table. It seemed to be some kind of JRPG title about robots and stuff. He paused for a moment before sighing and leaving it down again "That makes me sound like such a dork..." He groaned with another small laugh as he rubbed his face with his free hand.

Diana turned back to Elliot before she hugged him again with her one arm, "Well if your a dork then I like you still," A smile still on her face as Abigail sighed lightly, picking up the arm and moving over to Diana, holding it out for her, "Again, it works, but you will have to clean this some time soon ok?" She said in an annoyed tone as Diana nodded, taking her arm away from Elliot before grabbing her metal one, Abigail smiling lightly at the two of them before moving towards the door, "And my job here is done, don't start having children now~!" She said in a joking manner as she opened the door before leaving.

Diana had a furious blush on her face before looking back at Elliot, giving an awkward smile, "Uhm... Well... We're alone..." She said awkwardly once again, the words of Abigail ringing in her head before she let out a short sigh, leaning back into the couch she leaned her head against Elliot, closing her eyes, placing the arm in her lap as she let out slow breathes, "Maybe we should go out soon... Abigail's bar is a nice place..." She said smiling lightly once again. Opening her eyes she looked up at Elliot, "Help me put this in?" She said holding up the arm, a look of annoyance on her face.

Chiharu

The small girl was having a great time. She got to spend time with her mama and papa, and she wasn't even really all that freaked out by the fact that they were in the infirmary. She still had her memories from when she was in the hospital, so it wasn't her favorite place to be, but if her mama and papa were there, then it was okay. And they were having a really good time, too. The food was really yummy and even though they were talking about a bunch of stuff that she didn't really understand, that was okay. Rini was smart and had brought some games for Chiharu to play with and be entertained by, because there wasn't going to be a whole lot to do while they were here and her attention span was a tad bit sporadic. So while Rini and Misafune were talking about their date, Chiharu had found herself sitting on the edge of the bed with a bunch of plastic animals. She was pretty engrossed in this until she heard Rini talk to her about visiting her brother or sister one day. Chiharu looked up at Rini inquisitively, wondering what she meant. She had been an only child her whole life, and with her change back to being a five-year-old after growing up to be 18 years old, her knowledge about the world was all kind of wonky. "What's a brother and sister?" she asked, looking over at Misafune as if he might know what Rini was talking about. As she was waiting for an answer, a man entered the infirmary, and Chiharu brought her gaze over to see who it was. "Mama, who's that strange man?" she asked, pointing over at Apollyon.

"Got it." he spoke as he broke away, moving to the infirmary. He arrived to hear the faint wisps of conversation of a girl student, a younger girl student and a boy. He prayed that nothing illicit was going on, but the smell of curry drifted to his nose and he opened the door softly, hoping to get a good look at the situation inside. He spotted a male student on the bed, eating dinner with a little girl and a girl with antler like things on her head. They looked happy, but this was important. "Ey, yo! Any one see the nurse health teacher?" he called out as he walked into the room with his hands up to show he was friendly.

Rini blinked when Chiharu had asked what a brother and sister were, she was surprised by the question at first, causing her to just stare at the girl for a moment. Though now that she thought about it, it wasn't all that surprising that she'd not know.

Rini glanced to Misafune first, wondering how she should explain it best before looking back at the child "Hm. Well a brother and sister are people who all share the same parents." She started as she tapped a finger to her chin "My brother and sister have the same Mama and Papa that I do. You don't have any brothers or sisters because no-one has the same Mama and Papa as you" She attempted to explain just before the man had called to them.

Rini froze and stared at the boy that called to them, looking a like she had been caught in trouble or something, despite doing nothing wrong as such. It was only when he waved his arms up in a fashion that communicated no harm that she seemed to relax a little bit. "I don't know..." She answered the young girl "I-I uhm..." She stared with a still somewhat awkward expression, her large round eyes examining the man before continuing "I'm not sure, sorry....I think she might be in her office?" She said sounding a slight bit unsure

--Misafune--

"Well, its like Rini said, brothers and sisters are the other children your parents have, added to the family." he tried to explain. He was an older brother, but his parents left him to the care of his grandfather/master and never spoke to him again. He wanted to feel sad, but he knew he could not, around Chiharu or Rini. The man came into the room and Misafune shrunk a bit into the the bed. He knew this looked bad, but the food was good as was the company. "She said she needed to do somethings in the classroom." he replied as he did not want any further trouble.

--Apollyon--

He stifled a laugh. These kids were scared of him, like he cared enough to bust them on eating together in private. Unless they were planning on something else, all he could see was an innocent meal shared. "Well, Little Girl, I am the school security officer, and also a police officer. My name is Apollyon. I was looking for the nurse, but since shes not here, I wont disturb your meal. I will take a seat over here and wait for her." he said as he was checking his phone as it was ringing. "Sup, heavy, I'm still in the infirmary. Yeah, total cheese, just three kids eating dinner. Two girls, one boy. No. No. One girl is a bit young though. Oh, you got the nurse with you? Coolpocalypse. I will just relax until you arrive. Laterdays and Higher Pays." he spoke into the phone before hanging up. He played up the conversation with Han, as he knew he kept his calls short and sweet, and never missed an opportunity to mess with him. "Sos, looks like nurse is coming back. I don't know her rules, but I will protect you as much as I can." he spoke to the small group on the bed.

--Thetis--

"I see. I just hope your sister can tame him, so its not a rinse repeat of the past." she said as they approached the infirmary door. Her temper had improved, but the smell of curry coming from the room set her on edge. Unless the idiot magicked himself into a pot of curry, there should be no unapproved food in her sterile clinic. She opened the door ready to dispense some justice, when the scene only made her narrowly slit her eyes. First, the security guy was in her chair. She had no feelings for the man, but she could feel his from a mile away. Second, Misafune was eating. Curry. With Rini. A good student, but a little flighty. And there was the little sick girl with toys. Unless something naughty was going on, this was looking just a bit weird to her. Sighing loudly she grabs a fresh cup of coffee to kill the smell of wine on her breath. "Alright puppies, get!" she shooed the girls away, giving them time to clean up. "AND you, out of my chair. it was made for me, not some jackass man to plop in." she told Apollyon. "Come in, Han. Maybe we can talk in here, or will a nurse have to knock a foolish boy out?" she said looking right at Misafune.

Makoto watched as Akane left the room. She sighed out of relief. She had an idea of how to find her, she could just use drones and make them activate the cloaking and jammer setting. She just hoped Akane wouldn't be somewhere that involved being too close to military bases. She got up and went over to the cutting board to make her own food. At least Akane got out all the ingredients for her so she could make it herself. Let's begin...

After a while, Makoto had finished her cooking, filling the air with the scent of the oil from making the shrimp tempura. everything else was just mildly cold sushi. She managed to make 10 shrimp tempuras and a dozen palm-sized sushi. Once she set it on the table, she began to eat it using her hands. She would use chopsticks, but you didn't really need to. Besides, it's not like she was the only one who does it in the world, many others do it. Even some of her friends that came from the Philippines does it. After eating a few sushi and a shrimp tempura, Makoto leaned back into her seat as she looked up at the ceiling. Training starting tomorrow. That's gonna be something she'll have to get used to fast.

When morning came rolling in, Akane had been up pretty much all night, planning her lesson for Makoto. Since it was only the first day of their training together, Akane made sure it wasn't anything out of hand. Something like an appetizer for what's in store for her in the future. Once she finished planning the lesson, Akane changed her form, changing it to one she hadn't used in quite awhile actually. It was the first one she used when she returned. Before she got ready to head out, she made sure to water her plants, one her many hobbies she had picked up on.

Once everything she felt that needed to be done before he departure was completed, Akane headed out. She had no specific destination, and if she did, it'd just make the search for her easier. She did keep her word though, and went to a forested area, hiding out there. She even took time to set up a camp for her and Makoto for when she was found. If she was found. Complete with two tents, a campfire, and some food for the two of them to eat. "Well, time to wait. Hopefully you do well, Makoto." She said, before laying down on the ground, taking in the nature around her. It was truly beautiful out here. Peaceful too. The wind gently blew, Akane soon yawned and closed her eyes, deciding to take a little nap as she waited.

Thomas micro-analyzed the words of Exilium was speaking to a certain degree. And as far as Thomas could tell, they were truthful, which earned a small chuckle. Of course, that chuckle couldn't stop the conquest of his piece of cake. Yes, a green flying man, from space nonetheless, was similar to the mostly powerless humans. The idea was rather novel to Thomas, so much so that it gained a cynical smile from him. Taking a pause halfway through his cake, Thomas wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"You know, not that long ago this world's governments went crazy trying to catch what have been deemed 'Supers.' Or rather, those that possess powers or abilities past a normal human, that includes non-humans as well. Thought I'd offer the courtesy of telling you, Big Green."

Watching the Limax, Thomas grew curious. He could be the first to learn of this alien species, but he shouldn't probe, but instead get into friendly territory. Yeah, that should work. Taking another bite of his cake, Thomas played with a piece of his hair before swallowing.

"Well, biologically speaking, I am human. Though I'm also what I mentioned before: a Super. But instead of just plain powers, I wield magic. This is what I really look like, but not everyone around her is strictly human. This area has a school for supers, human or otherwise, as such it gets a lot of super traffic, that's probably the reason why no one questions you, an alien, being here in broad daylight."

As he conversed with the man about the people here on Earth, and what they were, his water was set down in front of him, and he thanked his server, taking a sip as he listened to the explanations he was being given. Apparently their government was trying to take control of all the supers, but despite all of that, he still wanted to tell Exilium about what he truly was.

"I assume it's fair since I shared with you."

Soon, he was told about superhumans and normal humans, and even more being here on Earth. Though this man here seemed rather plain in a since. He was simply human, but wielded magic abilities. Though anyone could do it, magic was rare back in his home, in fact it was rarely spoken about. He understood the part about not everyone being strictly human, as he's had a few run-ins with a few of the like. And since it led to Exilium not being questioned, he was never really worried about it. In fact, it made him feel welcomed in a way.

"I see. I was never really worried about why no one questioned if I'm being honest. If I'm being honest with you, it made me feel welcomed to your planet. I would be surprised if no one expected me to be some sort of lab accident though. I mean, it's not something I'd look past as not being a possibility."

Exilium said, letting out a slight chuckle before taking another sip of his water. He was enjoying the conversation he was having with this man. He was a rather interesting one, and seemed pretty knowledgeable, which meant Exilium could learn more from this man.

Violetta

Though she was glad that Kai was acting so normal, the guilt for what she knew she had done was slowly eating at her. She knew some kind of argument was going to happen later, one that she couldn't just talk her way out of. She had messed up, and she knew it. Even if she did have her reasons. Even still, Violetta laughed as Kai mentioned he compared their kids' behaviors to his own. If that was the case, then they must have been a handful. Though as a mother, shouldn't she be the one to stay home with them? She smiled up at him as he kissed her cheek back, nodding as he said he was going to check on the kids. "I'll be here when you get back!" she called after him, grabbing an apple of her own. When he had left the room, Violetta changed back into her human form, staring down at the apple with a guilty expression. "I really am the worst, aren't I?" she spoke to herself. Kai had been nothing but amazing throughout all of this. Taking time off of his job, taking care of the kids, even going so far as to go the extra mile for the things she loved. And yet she couldn't even seem to return the favor. Now that she was human, the emotions that she had been feeling were increased twofold, and she had to sit down from it all. Hopefully she could get ahold of herself by the time Kai got back.
PastAbsoluteArchaeocete-size_restricted.gif

Kai was no fool. There had to be a reason why she was going to change back to normal, but she could have told him prior to doing so. Honestly, it wasn't such a big deal that she did so, but the fact that she broke a promise. A promise that he felt was more to their kids than themselves. All of his friends back at work, and home, who had kids never gave up their power, even for a limited time to take time out of work and focus on their children, but here he is, doing that to give his children something that the others couldn't give: parents who are there. Despite his bad boy act, he was a soft one when it came to his blood. That being his family, and now his wife and children.

As he made his way into their room, Kai made sure the two of them were sleeping peacefully. It made him smile a little. With the way things were around them, it was always nice to see his favorite little people live so peacefully and happy. "You two sleep well." He whispered before walking out of the room, leaving the door cracked just in case something was to happen and he needed to get back in their as quick as possible. Now was the time he got an answer to the question he was gonna ask. Now back in the kitchen, Kai took a seat, not really facing Vio. He didn't look at her either, because if he did, he wouldn't be able to ask. "So? What made it so important that you couldn't tell me you were going to do it?" He asked, hoping the answer was a good one. Nothing could change how he felt about the promise. And nothing would change how he felt about Vio, but that didn't mean he couldn't upset with her. She may be a goddess, but she knows very well how things work here. After all, she was there to witness how all things work.

RYFT-MK80

Ryft noticed Zero’s smile. It was something that seemed to be catching his eye as of late. He didn’t understand why it seemed to draw his attention, or why there was a part of him that liked seeing the smile. Either way, he still noticed it. This smile seemed to come from Ryft’s comment about his powers. It was true, he did think they were nice. If he was honest, a lot of things about the world were nice, just because he was so new to it and enjoyed learning things. Apparently compliments like that make people happy. It made sense, and was something that Ryft would keep in mind for later. But for now, they were finally at the infirmary, a place that seemed to be a little too familiar to Ryft. This wasn’t the first time he had been beat up, nor would it probably be the last, so the weapon had resigned himself to getting used to it. He figured Zero on the other hand probably was not, though by his comment it seemed like he was at least familiar with the nurse’s habit of being absent often. It made him wonder how often he was here... or at least how often he was nice enough to take people here. The thought of him taking others here made him a little annoyed, though he knew he had no reason to feel that way. It wasn’t a feeling of any importance anyways. “You say that as though you’ve been here enough times to know.” He finally asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. He kinda wanted to know more about Zero. Maybe Zero could be his first friend? Ryft felt himself get placed down on the bed, unable to stop himself from wincing at the motion. It was a stark reminder how much it sucked getting beaten up. He couldn’t help but stare as Zero checked out his body for any additional injuries, though he didn’t quite understand why that was. He had given him a full diagnostics report of all his injuries, did he not believe him? “Yes, it still does.” He answered earnestly, doing another diagnostic check to see how the healing process was coming along. It seemed fine, the cuts and scrapes were about halfway healed at this point, and the fractured bones were also healing as per his normal, albeit enhanced, healing rate. “Though I believe I should be all healed up in the next few days.” Watching as Zero leaned back in his chair, he spoke again. “It was very kind of you to bring me here. I’m very grateful for your help.”
tumblr_o3j7mwypvJ1tlypw3o6_400.gif
At Ryft's comment, he laughed and rubbed the back of his neck a bit. "I used to get in a lot of fights, so I'd visit here about once or twice a week. It wasn't that I went around picking the fights though, it was more of these group of kids that picked on me and I would get angry and then it lead to a fight in one way or another. I don't do it anymore though, that's behind me." He admitted. Freshman year was rough for Zero, well, when you're in high school and you're a boy who's only 5'0 teasing was inevitable but some people took it too far and it became bullying. Thankfully it was all over now, Zero was now 6'2 so he didn't get teased anymore. He nodded when Ryft told him his guess on when he'd be better, relieved that it was nothing serious and Ryft would be back to whatever it was he did in no time. "I see, that's good. Ah, you're welcome, I'm happy to help people where I can so it's no problem really." Zero smiled, though it was much softer than the previous ones. It was more of a reassuring smile to let Ryft know that helping him out didn't bother him at all.

Kenai let a low laugh when he heard Asako say the movie wasn't at all scary. He had been waiting on that comment from her as soon as the last of the credits rolled, at least she was calm enough when it was over though, remembering how on freaked out she was after the last time they watched a scary movie "Yeah? I mean, my arm thinks different." He joked as he stood up after her, shooting a grin in her direction. Honestly, he had even jumped once or twice whilst watching, not as noticeably as Asako maybe but it did manage to catch him off guard, he wouldn't have had a problem admitting that either. "That was pretty good." He said as they had began to make their way to the exit "I won't be terrified by clowns when I see them, but after watching I can understand why others would be now..." He admitted

Ilaani blinked, reaching into her pocket for her own phone, checking the time herself. "Oh! I didn't even realise that much time has passed..." She said with a small laugh as she put her phone into her pocket "But same, I don't feel like ending this and heading home yet either" she admitted "Did you have anything in mind?" She asked curiously, she didn't mind if there was nothing in particular of course, they could think of something as they went, she was just happy to get to hang out again.
"Pfft, your arm can't even think so that statements invalid" She grinned, she was aware of the grip she had on his arm so she wasn't surprised that he might have lost a bit of feeling in it. "It was, I liked it... even if I might have gotten a little scared I enjoyed it." She stated before looking at him. "I guess it's more of a fear that the clown's going to randomly pull out a chainsaw and be like 'come here little girl'" She held her hands up and moved her fingers in a clawing motion.

---------
Allen looked up a bit in thought. He hadn't exactly had a plan in mind, but he had said that before he could really have something in mind, more to make sure they'd actually have more time to hang out. "We could walk around and if we see something interesting go there?" He offered, a little unsure on if it was actually a good idea or not but he didn't know exactly what there was to do around this area.

Skylar Ainsworth

Just seeing Hyou again was enough to make Skylar get all kinds of embarrassed again. Last night was definitely on the forefront of her mind, so seeing his face again brought back all the feelings from then and made her feel a bit awkward. In the same vein however, seeing him smile at her did make her relax a bit. “Yeah, you’re a pretty good pillow~” She jabbed at him, giggling at how adorable his yawn was. She was also pretty tired from everything, but she would get her bit in before he could do the same to her. Like when he literally swept her off her feet for a kiss, one she melted into almost instantly. She was kind of sad when their lips parted and he sat her down, she was enjoying the sweet residual taste from the orange juice. Once she was sat down, she went to go grab a cup to pour her own glass of juice. “Yup, I’m free all day.” She nodded, before he joked about going at it for another round. “S-stupid Hyou, I think we’ve done enough of that for a while!” She sputtered, her face blooming bright red as she dove into the fridge for the juice to try and cool her head.
Gajeel Smile.png

Hyou smiled a little more as he talked with Skylar. Unfortunately it made his bandaged cheek hurt a bit, but he made sure not to show it sense he didn't want Skylar to worry, or think anything of Perfect. When she said he was a pretty good pillow, he raised a brow, his smile turning into a smirk now. Hyou as pretty much all muscle, and for her to say that only confirmed one thing. "Oh? So you like your men big and strong? All muscle like and stuff?" He asked, with a short laugh. "You know, I would have never guessed." Hyou added, watching as she went to get her own glass of orange juice. Putting his hands behind his head, Hyou walked towards the kitchen counter, leaning against it. "But other than all of that, and the fact that I'm pretty sure you're lying and would love for us to go at it again, I'm happy you're free for the day. School has been taking all your time, but at least its something worth it taking you from me." He told her, as he was always supportive of her.

--Misafune--

"Well, its like Rini said, brothers and sisters are the other children your parents have, added to the family." he tried to explain. Han nodded in agreement to Thetis' statement about Kanon being able to get Achilles to come to his senses. He hoped she could too. As the two of them closed in on the infirmary, he could tell Thetis' mood wasn't in the same place it was when they left, as it had improved, but now she seemed upset about something and he wasn't sure what it was. Soon the smell of curry came to his senses. He wasn't sure how he didn't notice it at first, because in his opinion, it smelled pretty good. Entering the infirmary behind Thetis, he caught a glimpse of the situation. It was.. Rather interesting to him, but to Thetis it was just another nuisance she had to deal with he assumed. It just wasn't her day. Walking all the way inside now, he smiled when she told Misafune to get out of her seat. "Seems like a lively infirmary you have here, Ms. Thetis. And a lot of interesting people gathered around." He said, catching a glimpse of the little sick girl. He could tell she was sick, and he felt the need to help her, but... From the looks of it, there was nothing even his angelic abilities could to do heal her. In a way, it made him sad. But maybe one day she would be fine, and that's all he could hope for in her case. "Hopefully we can talk here."

After being knocked out, carried home, and put in bed by Masahi, Roman lay out cold. It was an interesting time for him. In a way, he was there, but he wasn't. The main benefit from being knocked out was the gift of some well earned sleep, but that was all. He also learned that Masahi didn't like being pitied, but that wasn't Roman's goal back when he asked. If anything, he wanted to see if Masahi was willing to help him end the fued between their families, so he should have worded that differently and just asked instead of trying to ease his way into it. After all, it did result in him being knocked out cold.

Some time went by before Roman came to. He decided not to move though, and just recollect all of his thoughts. Seeing as he and Masahi are equals in strength, that punch actually did something. More than any punched he's felt in the recent days. People weren't as strong as he was, so it was easy for him to let his guard down, but that was an accident he should never make when he's around someone with strength like his. Ever. He heard a bit of the conversation between Mal and Masahi, and some of it made him wanna laugh, but then she said he rarely tells her anything about his past, and well... It made him sort of feel like he was holding back something from her. Roman figured at some point in the future, he'd tell her all about it, along with Masahi and Kaori's role in his past too. She deserved to know. More than anyone.

Soon after, Kaori came barging in after coming face-to-face with Masahi. If he was being honest, she was just using him as an excuse to not face the man. He was the father of her children, but he ran. Roman knew there was reasons though. He knew Masahi, and even when they were kids, he wouldn't do anything without reason. One of the main reasons he forgave Masahi for his crimes he committed when he was donning the mask. As the two argued or whatever it was, Roman could hear Mal pop in from time to time, and Kaori wanting answers from Masahi. It was strange to hear Masahi remain so calm in the situation, but at the same time, it made sense. After all they've been through, Masahi being the same boy from when they were younger wouldn't make any sense.

Eventually, Masahi had given Kaori her answers, and it was all placed on him by his brother-in-arms at the end. Did he pity Kaori? Sort of. In a way, he could understand how she felt. Sighing, as he was now called out on being awake, he sat up, looking at the three of them. Mal. Kaori. Masahi. The three people he found himself closest to. "Well, you were pretty close actually. Though you were right in some places. Kaori, when I told you about my feelings for you when we were younger, I wasn't lying. I did feel the same way you did about me back then, but you died, or well I thought you did. So I moved on, but when you came back after all those years, and you ended up getting hurt in front of me a second time, and I couldn't help, I felt that I had failed to protect you for a second time. Fortunately, Masahi was able to save you... And I took it as a third chance to make up for my failure." He explained, before getting out of bed and standing beside Masahi and Mal. Looking over to Mal, he smiled a little, "But I should have told you that I moved on earlier on. So I guess I did pity you in some way. This life I have here, I can't abandon. So any ideas of us actually being together, I want you to dismiss... Because it can't be." He told Kaori, his smile slowly fading. "You understand, right?"

Mal was a bit confused at Masahi directing his words towards Roman, but as he sat up she realized that Masahi must have been able to tell he had woken up, which lead to the question of how long had he been awake? She listened to Roman as he explained himself to Kaori who looked like she was having the worst day of her life, which probably wasn't wrong. She looked between the three of them, wondering just how much history the trio had together. Obviously, a lot, if it lead to what was currently taking place in her and Romans bedroom. She couldn't help but smile and the feeling of relief that came over her when Roman confirmed that he had moved on, feeling a bit guilty for even worrying about it and allowing herself to doubt whether or not she was making Roman happy.

She watched as Kaori began leaving, as well as Masahi following her and seemingly taking her with him wherever, which meant it was now just Roman and herself in the room. She remained quiet for a moment before looking at him. "So, how long did you plan on pretending to be asleep?" Her eyebrow raised, the corner of her mouth curving upward a bit. "I mean, I can expect Misaki or even Alejandro to fake being asleep, but my own husband?" It was clear she was trying to lighten up the mood a bit after what had just happened. She knew that it must have been harder on Roman than herself.

Celaena

At this point, Ayen was off on his own, leaving Celaena to figure out what to do on her own. It didn't escape her that his attention was focused more on the injured man, and she couldn't blame him for that. If the situation called for her to be where Ayen was, she might do the same thing. But that left her figuring out what exactly she should do in the meantime. She looked around at the vastness of his house, feeling suddenly very disconnected from Ayen once more. How many stories did this house hold that she was not a part of or did not know of? "I, uh... just kind of wandered there, I suppose. I had met someone who showed me around a bit, but we soon parted ways. Not long after that is when we met again." She answered, glancing back at Ayen as he attended to Kenji before turning her attention back to the house. As she slowly wandered around and took a look of the place, a sort of sadness washed over her. She was back, and she had found her Ayen again, but everything felt so foreign still. Or was it that she was the foreigner here? It almost felt like she wasn't supposed to really be in this situation, that it was some kind of cruel joke or fluke that she was standing here. She had missed so much of Ayen's life before now. Did she still have a place in it, after all of it?

That sentiment and worry rang through Celaena's head every day since she woke up. She clearly remembered what it felt like to die. She firmly believed that back then, she was going to die. So was it really okay for her to be okay, right here in Ayen's house? Did she really have a right to be alive right now. Thoughts began swirling in her mind, and the fae closed her eyes trying to still them. All this did was begin to make her dizzy. The dizziness compounded with the weakened state of her body and soon Celaena found herself losing her strength to stand and her balance, and she swayed backwards. Thankfully she was able to snap herself out of it enough to catch herself on a nearby wall, grabbing on to it for dear life as she held herself in an awkward leaning and half fallen over position. Using the limited strength her body had left, she was able to push herself up enough so that her back was against the wall, so she could slide down into a sitting position, albeit an exhausted one. Being in a house made from nature allowed her to finally relax and actually let herself be exhausted, which both felt nice and horrible at the same time. Now that she was in a position where her body couldn't betray her anymore, her emotions came back in full swing, and Celaena tiredly pulled her knees to her chest and cried into them, hoping that Ayen wouldn't hear her. He didn't need to be worrying about her right at this moment, not with an injured stranger in much more need of attention.
Ayen

Heat. Warmth was starting to pulse around the unconscious Kenji's body. Ayen had no inkling as to why, but given that he couldn't get a read on anything about the stranger he was tending to, Ayen figured it was better not to question it for now. At least, that's what a logical person would do. After all, there's no telling the source or exact use of their powers. Yet... Yet he was ever curious, especially about the unknown and unknowable. Perhaps that curiosity led him to seek out certain meta-level beings before simply to peer into other possibilities. But that was neither here nor there at the moment. If he was the source of the heat, it could simply be heat powers, but fire, magma, plasma, and several other power types could be the source as well. And though his house was supernaturally reinforced, it was still wooden, so he had to gamble on keeping the sleeping man there. "It's not easy being nice, I hope you realize that you mysterious space heater." Ayen was more mumbling to himself, but even so, he chose to joke about.

Feeling like there was little he could do at this point Ayen walked out of the room and figured he should get supper started. At least that was the plan when Ayen walked out of the room. However, he heard Celaena, and it struck him all at once that he hadn't paid enough mind to her. Indeed, the emotion that surfaced felt like nothing short to getting a sword run through his gut and twisted. Ayen realized he had changed and changed and changed even more through his life. It wouldn't be a far stretch to say he's gone full circle a several times in several ways. Even so, to leave her like that? Ayen felt ashamed of himself. And while one couldn't undo the past, the future was controlled by those who act. And Ayen was one of the ones that often took the first action, many times before, and now. Knowing his own house Ayen could move deftly through it, and without missing a beat he bent down, looped one arm under Celaena's legs, and the other supported her back. He then lifted her up princess style and changed course to his bedroom. "You thought I wouldn't notice? If you, my own heart, ached and was burdened with sorrow?" Ayen whispered, using questions instead of statements to shroud his own incompetence this time, letting the words flow straight to Celaena's ear with how close his mouth was.

After dinner, Makoto put the utensils in the sink and washed them. She then left them out to dry on a napkin on the counter, since she wasn't sure where to put them. She then headed up to her room and flopped onto the bed and slept. The small wolf, already sleeping on the bed.

When morning came, it took Makoto a while to get up. It was 7:45 when she woke up and 8:00 when she began to get ready. She did her usual routine; brush her teeth, shower, all that stuff. For her outfit, she wore black camouflage pants, a black cropped tank top, her boots and a black flat top cap. She tied her hair into a tail, which went through the hole of the cap where you could adjust how tight it was. Once she looked ready, she grabbed some fingerless gloves and headed out.

It was 8:45, and Makoto positioned herself on a mountain nearby a forested area. She took the hint that the place they were going wasn't near any major cities, so she figured it would be either in the mountains or the forests. She got to the highest peak of the mountain and began setting up a drone launcher that was about to launch fifty small drones into the air and scan the mountains and forests in an attempt to locate Akane. Once they were launched, the drones were 10 meters out before they began to cloak and activated their jammers so the human military would not catch an unidentified object in its airspace and not assume Japan was under attack by a foreign nation. The drones continued their recon mission until they located Akane. At 10:00, the drones finally located Akane and sent the directions to Makoto and began heading back to the launcher, however one of them, landed on a tree and sat there silently, acting as a tracker to further assist Makoto locate Akane. After Makoto finished packing up, she began heading towards the location jumping from tree to tree quickly to get there as fast as she could. She just hoped there was no time limit. Eventually, she would reach her destination.

Roman sighed as he watched the two of them leave. He knew what Masahi was going to do, he could tell from the moment he took the first few steps towards the door, and he agreed with his actions all the way. As for himself, he would need to apologize to Kaori at a different time, because right now he had something he had to do. No other time seemed fitting enough. His entire relationship with Mal has been a good one, she never even expected him of lying, in which he hasn't been doing, but he hasn't been telling her everything. Moreso about himself. His roots and where he came from. She deserved to know about his life, and how much of it Masahi and Kaori were apart of it.

Turning around, Roman walked towards their closet, taking off his vest and hanging it up inside. Soon he heard Mal speak, asking him how long was he awake. He didn't respond and then she said something else. About how she could expect the kids to play sleep and not himself. He was happy she didn't know he was awake. Because he got to learn that she was left in the dark about his life, yet he knows so much about her. "I was awake long enough to hear you tell Masahi that I don't tell you much... And I agree with that statement. That being said, I want you to listen to everything I'm about to tell you. Because you deserve to know more than anyone about the life that I lived leading up to these days." He told her, looking down towards the ground. "A harsh reality that me and my friends had to live through. "

It was a lot to suddenly unload upon Kaori, no, a lot was the understatement of the year. That being said, Masahi also had to consider several things. Kaori wasn't going to want to stay with Roman at this point, but he couldn't just let her go. She was starting to walk away, confused, sad, angry, lonely, frustrated. It would be almost nostalgic if not for what memories it unearthed within him. At this point there was no taking back what was said, no denying any of it. Forward was the only way now, and with how Kaori was, she seemed bound to do something regetable if left on her own. As much as he hated it, Masahi was going to have an in the moment decision. What came after it would be his problem, and his only. Well, for now anyways, Masahi cleared his throat and annonced himself.

"I think I've been here long enough, I only came to drop Roman off anyways." Pausing for a moment Masahi looked at Roman and gave a flat grin. "Well, we'll be in touch... I'll take our leave then."

Having said that, Masahi walked towards the door, or rather, towards Kaori. He'd make it fast, without explaination, and without a way to reverse what he will do. He was tangable this time as he neared Kaori, stopping just behind her, almost as if he was waiting for her to move. Was what he had planned really the right move? He couldn't know for sure, no, he would know later when it will be once again too late to turn back. Letting out a sigh, Masahi placed a hand on Kaori's shoulder. "You won't last a week on your own, you know?" Muttering those words, Masahi placed one hand on Kaori while waving goodbye to Roman and Mal behind him with the other. In the same moment Masahi activated Kamui before Kaori had a chance to get away or compain. For only Masahi and Kaori the scene changed, briefly to a stoney viod, then to a high class apartment that Masahi had used for meetings of the political nature in the past. From the large windows it could be seen that they were near the top floor of a building deep in the city.

"If you don't like this, become strong enough to spite me. But until then, I'm not done with you, nor our children. So don't think for a moment your ending up on your own now." Masahi almost ranted, however he took a moment to take a breath and put some distaince between him and Kaori. With a quick glance he say the door out was still locked so she couldn't just bolt. "That being said, Roman knows where this is, and we need to catch up on at least a few things."

Kaori Hana

Even though she had steeled her mind to leave out of their lives, Kaori had no idea what she was actually going to do once she had left. All she knew was that she needed to leave. Since she had been staying at Roman’s houses for the last while and had helped out with the doctors appointments and whatnot, she didn’t have to spend any money on that before now. So maybe she’d get a small apartment or house away from all of this, all of them. Raise the kids on her own until they were old enough to go make their own decisions in life. Maybe get a job as a doctor in a small town clinic or something. These were details she’d have to figure out once she was gone out of here. There was a part of Kaori that wanted to look back one last time at Roman, and maybe even Masahi before she left, but decided against it. She didn’t want to have second thoughts, not after this.

What she hadn’t been counting on, however, was that anybody would try and stop her. In her emotional state, she didn’t have the foresight to expect anyone to stop her or do anything about her leaving. In her mind, she was just a burden on their lives, so there was no reason why anyone should stop her anyways. So to say that Masahi moving after her was a surprise was a bit of an understatement. She had heard him announce his own departure, a mix of emotions swelling through her already turmoiled state. It meant he was leaving, and since she knew his ways of getting around, at least since her back was turned she didn't have to see him go this time. Then again, she couldn't just forget everything either, and after everything in her life, gods be damned Kaori wanted closure somehow, even if she'd never admit it to herself. It was probably that she had just decided that she was going to have to accept things for the way they were, that Masahi was gone and that was that. However, as per par for the course of her life, he appeared back in her life anyways and threw a wrench into her carefully laid emotional plan. There might have been a small part of her that maybe wanted him to come after her, though that part was majorly overshadowed by the part that hated his guts and never wished she had met him again after she came back. Though she didn't get a choice in the matter, as she suddenly felt a rest gently on her shoulder.

It was like time had slowed down when she felt Masahi's hand on her shoulder. She barely had time to register that it was his hand there before she heard her voice, and that was when she managed to turn her head around quick enough to see him before he warped them away from Roman's house. In her peripheral she had seen Roman standing next to Mal, though her gaze was fixated on Masahi and the fact that he was suddenly much closer than he was before. The scenery suddenly changed and then they were in some high-level apartment, with barely enough time to take a breath and take it all in. She hadn't even had time to mutter a protest before she was taken somewhere technically against her will. Now that they were somewhere else and alone did he finally increase the space between them. It took her another moment to adjust before she could finally process everything, and the complexity of her feelings was evident by the changing expression on her face. She wasn't sure how to approach this situation that she was apparently going to be stuck in, though there was a thought on her mind that she couldn't help but spill out. "Why would you do that??" She asked, her tone of voice still filled with the tears that were falling down her face. She whipped around, suddenly feeling the need to really orient herself with wherever this place is, her eyes being drawn to the door. Kaori guessed she wouldn't have the luxury of being able to just try and walk away from this one, especially with Masahi claiming he wasn't done with her. "You lost the right to claim things like that the moment you abandoned me back in that cave." She added, running her hands through her hair and wiping her face as she turned her back to him and walked even further away from him. It was all too much to handle. "God I should have just stayed dead!" she cried out exasperatedly, collapsing against a chair with her head in her hands.

Violetta

As she waited for Kai to return back to the kitchen, Violetta could feel the dread building in the pit of her stomach. Kai wasn't the type of person to just let something like this go. He was going to want to know why she did what she did, which meant that she was going to have to explain why she broke her promise. That meant having to think about why she did turn back from being human to being a goddess. Why did she do that? Was it boredom? No, it was actually a lot of fun getting to experience being a human. What was it exactly? Why would she of all people break the most important promise that she had ever made in her entire existence, a promise that existed between herself and the most important person to her in the world? What reason could she possibly have that would justify it? No. That's not the right word. There was nothing that could justify breaking a promise, not one like that. But he still wanted answers, an explanation, so she was going to have to give him one.

Violetta had been staring at the apple trying to come up with an answer up until she heard Kai return to the kitchen. Her eyes followed him as he sat down across from her, but he didn't look at her. She didn't blame him, she probably would do the same thing if she were in his position. Hearing his question, her stomach dropped, and she exhaled as she looked back down to an apple. She still hadn't quite formulated an answer yet even if he was looking for one, so she figured it best to just do things how she normally would - going with the flow without a plan. Just let the words ramble out in hopes they would convey her feelings and thoughts that she was obviously having trouble piecing together.

"It's not like I wanted to go behind your back, even if I did," she started, feeling her mouth go dry. She set the apple back on the table as if she had never picked it up in the first place. "I really did plan to just stay a human for as long as we were able to, honest. It's just that..." she paused, trying to think of the right words. "It was like there was something just kind of nagging me in the back of my head, I guess. Like some kind of thirst that I couldn't really get rid of. Like some kind of dumb destiny calling, ugh, that's not a good way to phrase it." She ran her hands through her hair, trying to recenter her thoughts. "It's like time doesn't want to let me just... be, I guess. I had told you that all of time runs through my head all the time, right? I don't really know how to explain it, but turning into a human, for once in my whole existence my mind was just... quiet. There wasn't anything there except for the thoughts that I was creating. But after a while.. I don't know. Time doesn't like quiet. It doesn't like having nowhere to be all the time." She sighed, realizing that she was just rambling on a bunch of nonsense. Heck, she didn't really even understand it herself. "And so I changed back, and it was like everything was... I don't know, normal? again. A-and you know me, I can't sit still for long, so I got a job at the school. My powers are perfectly suited for being a security guard, and that's what I did." She cleared her throat, glancing back up at him. "I've spent pretty much all of existence used to being one way, so I guess I wasn't as up for change as I thought I was. I know sorry won't change anything, but you have to believe me when I say I am sorry." Violetta brought her gaze back down to the apple, feeling her throat get a bit tight from wanting to cry.

RYFT-MK80

As Zero spoke, Ryft listened with focused attention. He couldn't help but be a little drawn in by this guy, this random stranger that seemed to be popping up in his life more often than not. And hearing his words sent a small pang of sadness through him, which did take him a bit by surprise. What also took him by surprise was hearing what Zero had gone through. Looking at him, he never would have guessed that Zero was also bullied. There was no way someone like him could have been. Someone so tall and objectively attractive would only be popular, right? Ryft couldn't pretend to know what life circumstances he had gone through, and since he could obviously relate, he wouldn't dare doubt the sincerity of Zeros' words. "I'm sorry to hear that you went through that." Ryft played with the ends of his hair as he said that, looking down at the ground instead of at Zero. It was like he was embarrassed or something, but he had no reason to be. Maybe more like awkward? Yeah, that seemed much more likely. He did glance back over at Zero as he said he was glad to help anyone in need. "That's really great to hear. I think we need more people like that." his voice was a bit monotone, but then again everything he did lately was like that. Well, it made sense, considering his situation, as much as it sucked. There was a moment where he considered asking Zero about something, before changing his mind and asking him something else. "Well in the meantime, are you busy? We can go get some food downtown. I want to repay you for your help today somehow."

Skylar Ainsworth

Hyou's bandaged cheek didn't escape her. It had only been a day or so since the events with Perfect, though it all was a blur really. At least it was until she was released, so the most she really could think about it was last night. It hurt her heart to see him in that state, knowing it was that that thing that had done it to him. She paused for a moment as she was pouring her juice, her thoughts about Perfect and everything that had happened weighing heavily on her mind. She still didn't feel 100% back to normal after that, and she couldn't help but wonder if she would always feel this way, like there was some small part of her just... missing. But her thoughts were interrupted as Hyou joked about what her type was. Hearing his words, she couldn't help but return a laugh of her own. "Yup, guilty as charged~" Skylar smiled, holding up her fingers in a victory sign. With her attention now not stuck in her own head, she finally managed to pour the juice into a glass instead of just holding it and an empty cup. Once she had finished that, she set down the cup to put away the juice in the fridge in its spot. She listened as he explained about how he was happy that she was free today, which piqued her curiosity. "What makes you ask if I'm free? Did you have any plans for today?" Skylar asked, returning to her glass of juice and taking a swig while waiting for his reply.

Chiharu

There was so much new stuff happening now in the infirmary that she was having a bit of a hard time keeping up. First she got to see her papa for the first time in a long time. Next she was learning about what brothers and sisters are. Then some strange man came into their room. And now more strange people were entering the room as well. She kind of recognized Thetis a little bit, but the other man she had never seen before. Her small hands grasped the plastic animals tightly as her eyes moved from one stranger to the next, trying to take it all in. She stared at them, wondering what was happening. The first man seemed kind of exciting, he used a lot of fancy words that she had never heard before and didn't make sense, but still found them funny. The lady she thought she recognized was really pretty, and that was about all she could deduce from looking at Thetis. And then the last man seemed interesting for a whole other reason, though Chiharu couldn't place what it was. For as little as she knew about humans, she felt like maybe he wasn't human. Or something. But as with all young kids, its hard to keep their attention for long, and she soon went back to playing with her plastic animals, not before moving herself to try to go sit in Misafune's lap after being shooed away by Thetis. Even with all the new people, they seemed far more interesting at the moment. She didn't really notice Han paying any mind to her, and even if she did, she wouldn't have really known about how he could heal sicknesses. That might have gotten her attention, but to her, playing with her toys came first. Every so often she would cough, though it wasn't enough to deter her play even amidst the crowd that had now formed in the room.

Mal looked at him before averting her gaze and looking out the window. That was one of the things she wanted to know if he heard or not, it seems he had. The half smile slowly disappeared, seeing as Roman was in a more serious mood. She almost wanted to laugh it off and tell him that he didn't have to do this, almost. The truth was she really wanted him to, which is exactly why she stopped herself from brushing it off. She was aware that there were some things that were hard to tell people, she could understand that, but not knowing much about Roman's past while he knew mostly everything about hers hurt a bit. She crossed her arms, bracing herself to hear what she'd been wanting to for a while. She knew it wasn't going to be anything heartwarming. "I'm listening"

Celaena

Celaena was ashamed of herself as she sat there letting the tears flow from her eyes like she was. It was unbecoming of her, and rude to Ayen, and she knew she couldn’t just continue like this forever, but it had been the most eventful day of her life. Getting to experience a whole new world on top of actually being reunited her her Ayen, it was all too much for her to handle. She had to be kind to herself as well, let herself be vulnerable as much as she didn’t want to. She felt like she had been vulnerable for far too long, what with having been sealed in that crystal in a half-dead state for however many years it was. So that’s what led to this moment, weak and crying against a wall in Ayens house. She should have known better to think that he wouldn’t notice, this was Ayen after all. When it came to her, nothing seemed to escape him. So while it did take her a little bit by surprise to feel herself be lifted by him, it also made sense.

Hearing his voice so close to her ear, while it might be unsettling in other moments only served to heighten the emotions she was already feeling. “I-I’m sorry, I dunno what’s gotten into me.” She responded through tears, her refined manner of speaking starting to crumble away. It was times like these that her speech patterns reverted back to that when she was growing up, though Ayen would know this. Now that he had picked her up he was much closer than he was before, so she couldn’t help but curl into him and his warmth. This felt like the first time since they reunited that Ayen wasn’ keeping her at an arms length away. Celaena sniffled as her hand gripped his shirt, the feelings of their long separation really hitting her hard now that they were brought back together again. “Is it really okay for me to be around you again?” She asked, this question being the driving force behind her current state.

Zero smiled when he apologized for what he went through, Ryft really was a nice guy. He watched as he played with his hair, something about the action was... adorable? He was a bit caught off guard by the thought and brushed it off as quickly as it came. He wasn't entirely sure where it came from and he wasn't going to ponder over what it meant at the moment, for now he'd focus on Ryft. "Thanks, but it's nothing to be sorry for. If I hadn't been bullied myself I don't think I'd be the guy I am now. I mean, it sucked when it was happening, and it would've been nice if it hadn't, but it helped me be able to be kinder towards other people in a way." He responded. Zero blinked at his offer, he hadn't expected Ryft to want to repay him. His mouth opened, about to tell Ryft he didn't have to do that, but then he closed it. Why should he refuse the offer? If Ryft wanted to do it then he should let him, and besides, he was a bit hungry so who was he to deny food? He closed his eyes for a second as he debated with himself, his mouth curving up into a smile as he opened his eyes and directed his gaze over at Ryft. "No, I'm free, I'd be more than happy to go grab a bite to eat"

Kai wasn't trying to start anything, as he didn't want to wake the kids by any means, but he just felt that he needed to know. They were partners after all. He would definitely understand. She had her duties as a goddess, just as he had his as an angel, but that was different. There were a ton of other angels who could do his job for him, but Violetta's job was only fit for her. He understood that better than anyone, and if she just told him that her thoughts were becoming so conflicted between normal human ones and all of time, he wouldn't be upset. She told him almost everything else.

Hearing her reasoning, Kai's eyes widened a bit only to return back to normal, just with his brows furrowed. He then turned to face her, looking at her with the same expression. He could tell she was on the verge of tears, but with love comes hardships. He did feel bad for making her feel this way. Standing up from his seat, Kai sighed and put his hands in his pockets, soon speaking in response to all that she had just told him, "Don't cry. I fear the kids may wake up if you do." He said, looking at her. "I'm not mad at you or anything... Well maybe a little disappointed. It's just that with all we have going on right now... The kids, our family.. Us. I just wanted us to be there for them. Through the first few years where they're just learning about the things around them, but you're duty as Goddess of Time is important, and I guess it slipped pass my thoughts." Kai explained, turning around and pushing his chair in. "I won't hold it against you, but from now on, tell me. You have no reason at all to not do so. I have to be on the same page as you after all." He said, looking at her. "I mean, would you rather I just be left out of the loop? Because, that's fine in some other world or timeline, but I can tell you it isn't gonna work all too well in this one. Might as well start keeping secrets while we're at it too."

RYFT MK-80

It didn't escape Ryft's notice that it was getting a little bit easier to care about things. It was nice to have a semi-constant connection to someone, and it seemed to be changing his emotions bit by bit without him really noticing. So for the first time in what felt like forever, Ryft was finding himself feeling a little bit. Everything was so monotone, all the time. It was hard to really connect or care about anything. But now? Ryft was finding himself actually kind of be invested in what Zero was talking about. He found himself feeling glad that even though he had gone through a rough part in his life that Zero was the way that he was right now. It almost surprised him, but it was a ghost of a feeling, almost imperceptibly there, so he didn't think too much on it. Even so, a smile graced his lips, though it really wasn't all that intentional. "Well that's a good thing then. You helped me out, so I can personally say I'm happy that you are the person you are today." His gray eyes looked softly at Zero for a moment before his expression changed into a more confused one. The confusion stemmed from the words that just left his mouth. What was he saying? He didn't talk like that, not really anyways. Again, he didn't have much time to think on it as Zero accepted his invitation for lunch, though his neutral expression stayed. "Great. Where would you like to go? I'm still pretty new here in town so I'm not super familiar with this area yet." he admitted, looking over at Zero with eyes that were both expectant and blank at the same time.
