Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

"My God has nothing to do with this, so don't use his name in vain, nor speak ill of him." Han said, forgetting to call up Apollyon, he made his cellphone disappear and he found himself in what was almost an argument with this woman. As she went on about how much of a grown man he was, Han only found himself laughing. Grown man? Sure he seemed like a great fighter at a young age, and maybe even a leader of sorts, but someone who can't even bring themselves to get off their behind and go talk out their problems could use a hand from someone they could trust, and Apollyon and Han figured that Thetis would be that person, but it was turning out to be otherwise. "Look, you speak highly of your son, and I can say he has a ton of good feats for someone his age, considering he should be old bones, but he's obviously not able to fix this problem, even if it takes simply a phone call. Another thing, Kanon is MY sister. And the reason I won/t talk to him is because I've already kicked his ass to high Hell, not sure if he'd want to talk to me without assuming I've come to pick another fight with him, unless he's become fond of me. Now I've come and only asked one thing of you, not to be bickered at about it. So, if it means so little to you as of what's going on with your son, and won't help me, someone who actually cares about the relationship at risk here, then I guess this was a waste of my time. If it even crosses your mind once to help me talk to him, and try and get him to go see her sometime soon before it's too late, then meet me at the infirmary." Han said, as he turned back around to face Thetis. Even though things seemed a bit heated at the moment, he still managed a smile, and nodded his head to her, turning back around and making his way to the door. "Don't know what gave me the impressions all mothers were like you..." He mumbled under his breathe, thinking about his own mom as he neared the door.

--Thetis--

Tired of her point not getting through she sighed in defeat. "Look, I can only talk to him, but what he does is all on him." she spoke to his back. "I do care for my son and what ever girl he gets serious about, I just think this is on him, or I will pretty much have to hold his hand through everything." she said as she was calming down. "I can bring him here right now. I can whip him black and blue with water, I can even heal him. I will escort you to the infirmary. It should be empty, some foolhardy magic boy doing things he shouldn't, should be gone now." she said as she rose out of the water, and her gown shifted to a more conservative form, one she could go to the market in. On her, were her marriage jewels her long late husband gave her, which made her feel a little bit more grounded. "Lets go save a boy's love life." she quipped.

Han was about to reach for the door handle when he heard Thetis' voice, causing him to stop. Not sure what made her change her mind exactly, he was thankful for the change of heart. At least what seemed like one in his eyes. If he hadn't gotten ready to leave, then maybe the two of them would have just been bickering to one another about nothing. "I... Thank you." He said, looking at her, his smile from before still remaining. As she finished speaking, he twisted the door handle, and opened the door, motioning for Thetis to exit before he did. "Hopefully this goes well." He thought to himself, not exactly sure how Achilles would react to seeing Han again. He would understand very well if he was pissed off at him, as it would make total sense, and his anger alone would be righteous.

This had to be the most open-ended mission Thomas had ever been on. At least that's what he had thought to himself. Indeed "infiltrating" the high school was easy. After all, he did qualify to be a student seeing as even though he had near master of magic in many forms, his true power was manipulating the very energy that made magic possible. And to that end, he had barely touched the surface of the possibilities. Stage two, which he was currently at, included living a typical life as a student while also gathering info. While that was easy enough, it was almost too easy at times, leading to boredom, and boredom leading to Thomas wasting money.

"Gaaaaaaaah, that stupid sorcerer, couldn't he have sent someone else?"

Even as Thomas grumbled his complaint, he sat at an outdoor table at a cafe he had managed to find that sold sweets. Indeed, he was slouched over a table with his arms stretched forward over it. Even so, it's not like he was down on money or free time. It's just that he never had time before to find a hobby, so he was just being lazy. When a large piece of cake was brought before him, Thomas perked right up, innocent, childish excitement filled his eyes to the brim.

"Many thanks to you!"

As Thomas declared that rather loudly he dug into his piece of cake.

As he traveled around the land, taking in all he could, Exilium finally decided it was time to make some interactions with the local lifeforms. He learned the hard way that animals couldn't speak any languages, especially bears. Coming back to where the human populations resided, Exilium was able to get his hands on some money by helping a few people in need. He figured now would be a good time to get some water, as he was in need of something to keep himself hydrated.

Flying over the city, a small building caught his eye. Seemed to be serving the humans some sort of meal, and with that in mind, Exilium slowed down before descending towards the ground. His feet soon tapped the concrete and he was now looking at the people who were being served. Some of them looked back, and just assumed he was some sort of cosplayer, or one of those 'Supers'. Exilium wasn't even from this planet. Walking up to a table that was placed outside of the cafe, Exilium found himself looking at a someone, and clearing his throat, he spoke, his voice deep and almost monotone.

"Is this seat taken?"

Exilium had asked the young male, who he had saw get extremely happy over the cake that was placed in front of him. With an almost forced smile, Exilium added to his question.

"If so, I could always find another table, nothing wrong with that."

She flipped her hair back, causing her jewelry to twinkle and rattle. She might have to stomp her son, but he is long due for it. "You think my son is quick to anger?" she asked, having thought about what this man has said. "Well you are right, I will not let him hurt you." she promised as she swished her way down the hall, not even attempting to douse her nymphic powers.

Closing the door behind them, Han followed behind Thetis, soon matching her pace and catching up to her. Now walking side-by-side with Thetis, he listened to what she was saying. Maybe Achilles was quick to anger. Hell, if he could recall correctly, their fight was due to anger from the boy... Then again he quickly dismissed what happened that day so it's all a little fuzzy for him. Looking at Thetis, she heard her say that she wouldn't let Achilles bring any harm to him, and with a laugh, Han rubbed his chin, "Actually, he couldn't hurt me if he tried. But thank you, that's actually really nice of you." He told her. "Sorry about earlier, I didn't hear you out, I was only thinking of myself, and not the things you had to say. I was angry, so if you wish to explain to me what you were saying, I'd like to hear you out as we make our way to the infirmary."

--Thetis-- (exposition time!)

"As with most good stories, My story starts on a mountain." she began...

Zeus was tormenting Prometheus. Prometheus had the audacity to give the weak humans a fighting chance to survive in this cold cruel world. While being chained to the mountain, Zeus' eagle came and tore out Prometheus' liver Daily. Now after awhile the poor titan kind of just took it, as he knew the pain would come and go. But out of sheer boredom and wanting liberation, Prometheus had a vision...That I would bear the God Killer child. Now i was just a girl nymph, learning the water, from my mothers side. However, Prometheus knew that no mortal union with me could produce a powerful child like that. He knew of Zeus' cheating ways. I knew he and Poseidon had eyes on me. At the time it was not uncommon for girls as young as 12 to be married off, and I was just getting into my womanly groove and apparently was the object of their lusts. It was both exciting and disgusting to have two major gods want me. I was nothing special, my sisters were much more prettier than I. However Prometheus spoke to Zeus, telling him that if he were to bed me, I would bear a child that would kill him. Poseidon learned of this and also drew back from me. Earning his freedom, Prometheus came to me, and had given me a sage prophecy.

"Your son will grow to do many things, but only if you can see to do the impossible with him." he told me as he went as far away with his brother as he could to escape the shadow of Olympus. Now jump ahead a few hundred years, I am a woman, young enough to still be considered fair, but old enough to have known many a great thing. I had followed the currents and found myself in Myrmidon. There I met the king Peleus, who married me and I bore him a son. After I gave birth to him, I took him on a small journey. Of course, I had guards, but where I could go, they could not. The words of the old Titan were buzzing in my head to do something impossible with my son. Well, I was not going to marry a baby off. Nor could I murder him. So I found myself in the tainted waters of the Styx. Us sea nymphs were told that just for being in those waters we would be weakened until sickly and feeble, until the water dried from our bodies. However a strange thought occurred to me..normally humans would lose their memories if they touched the water, and my son had nothing for the waters to take, so as I became sicker, I decided to dunk him into the waters. I held my boy over the water by his heels and ankles and dipped him in and quickly pulled him up. His coughs and sputters broken my heart, and I abandoned that foolish notion to return to the kingdom.

A few years later, my son was growing handsome and strong. The pain and sickness long gone out of me, as I watched him play with the other nobles children, until they ran into the stone cutters quarry. He had slipped and fallen a great height, and his friends were crying and moaning as they ran to get help. Everyone in the area ran to where he had fallen, expecting to see my dead sons corpse. But all they had seen was my son helping the stone cutter eat his lunch. Not a scratch, nor broken bone. Everyone was aghast. Some even questioned the children's honesty. However, when pressed, my son answered truthfully. He said he did fall down, but it only hurt his pride. I wept at what I had done. The Styx did take something from my son, his vulnerability. A few more years later, I was constantly chasing the wool headed young chits away from his training. It was a daily thing to see girls who should be doing their chores line up like whores to be bought, just to catch the eyes of my son and his dashing good looks. I admit that if i was not his mother or even in my true youth, I would have been quiet interested in pursuing him. But my husband deciding to visit an oracle, who told him my son would die at Troy. A deviant I am not. However, I did not want my son to die in a war that had nothing to do with him or the kingdom. So I sent him to a friendly kingdom as a girl to hide among that kings daughters. The fool headed boy made a son. One I never got to see. But being wise Odysseus found him out, and off to war my son and his close friend and cousin went.

War...War never changes. Back then my son conquered all over Troy. He stomped the Ethiopian King Memnon and the Amazon Penthesilea. He slew Hector for killing his cousin Patroclus, and even dragged poor Hectors body around troy for three days. Zeus was kind of pissed off, and helped kind king Priam regain his son. However, the bloodiest battle of the wars end came when the Greeks stormed Troy proper. It was then my son, whom won the battle was slewn by the bastard that started the war, Paris. How might you ask? Well my hands are invulnerable, but his ankles and heels are not. where I held him the waters did not touch. That is the spot that slew my son. In my hubris I did not think it through enough. I could have dropped him in and coated him evenly, but my powers work much less in the Styx so rescue was iffy. No I held his ankles and that is where he died.

Now this war had a point, and a cause. A cause that would make most hardened warriors put their sword down. A beauty contest...

After Zeus wed me off to my husband to secure his fate, Most of the goddesses had gotten antsy. And itchy. The itch was jealousy. See the goddesses and demigods and other beautiful things were highly vain. To the point that the big 3 decided to grab a mortal to judge their beauty. Well nymphs were excluded for obvious reasons, and the goddesses had snagged Paris to judge them. Now of course each of them were trying to fix the contest, promising Paris his hearts desires. Hera promised him many heirs and a happy marriage. Athena promised him battle prowess. Aphrodite promised him the most beautiful woman in existence. Well you know what he chose. And that woman happened to be the wife of Menelaus brother of Agamemnon king of Greece. Long story short, this pissed the Greeks off, and off to war they went.

"Now you know my story, and why I feel like I do, towards my son." she finished as they neared the Infirmary.

A green man? Well, it's not the worst Thomas has seen after years of being used against magicians and supers as per the requests of the highest bidders. From a quick, reflexive, spell-based search Thomas realized it the green man was nothing he had seen before. Even so, it was close to a school for the supernaturally inclined, so Thomas wasn't too surprised. Plus, the green man seemed to have manners, an always well sight these days. With that in mind, Thomas pulled his cake closer to himself and gestured to the free chairs at the table.

"Be my guest, strange flying green man. And if I could be blunt, perhaps you could tell me what you are?"

It was part of his mission, after all, to gather info, so when a new species popped up in front of him, Thomas ended up probing before taking a slightly oversized bite of cake.

"He did say you were here, didn't he?"

Masahi's remark was all he could get out as he saw Kaori. At first, Masahi looked only at her face, and from it, he saw her emotions painted plain as day to see. However, outside of that, she seemed healthy, so his operation on her with the Zetsu cells was a success. Maybe it was a bad move, but at first, Masahi closed the door behind him before passing through it much like he had done with the front door. Now back in the room with Roman and Mal, he had taken a deep breath and exhaled. He saw something else, something he didn't want to believe. Kaori's stomach was round. But why? No, he knew why he just didn't want to accept it. As a curtsey, Masahi looked back to Mal and stammered out a few words.

"Sorry... but I think there's about to be some arguing..."

Opening the door again, Masahi looked, no, more of scanned Kaori with his eyes while his Tengen was still active. The energy flow he could see told him there were two lives growing within here. The three-tails was still there as well, and his eyes lingered upon where the seal would be, but it could be taken as Masahi simply staring at Kaori's bloated stomach. The implications of him having kids, of Kaori having the Zetsu cells within her while with child, of the fact that she just had to be in the Ishida household of all places, it all made his head swim. Even with nothing in his mouth, Masahi gulped.

"We need to talk. Since you're like that, there are things I have no choice but to tell you now."

As Masahi dictated that, He side-stepped and gestured Kaori into the room, where Roman was laying down as if he was simply asleep, with Mal sitting at his side.

Kaori Hana

If she hadn't just seen it with her own eyes, Kaori might not have believed what she just saw. It was an understatement to say that she never expected to see him again, so to actually come so close face to face with him again took her by complete and utter surprise. There was so many different emotions bubbling to the surface that she wasn't sure which one she wanted to express most at the moment. Would it confusion about why he was here? Anger that he walked away from her in that cave? Anger that she was pregnant with his children? Anger that he spent all this time doing gods knows what, not taking responsibility? The longer she stood there, the more the emotions consolidated on anger, and her face began to twist up into a pissed off expression. Her eyes narrowed up at him as he mentioned how Roman had said she would be here. So he knew about it?? That didn't help the anger growing in the pit of her stomach, causing San to mutter a small woah. Before she had a chance to say anything, he had closed the door and passed through it to the other side.

This only served to make her madder. So his first instinct after seeing her after all this time, after all he did to her, was to run away again? After taking a moment to recover from such an incredulous move, she began to stomp toward the door after him. "Where do you think y-" She started, but the door suddenly opened and cut off her words. Masahi stood in the doorway, the sight of him once again stunning her in place. It felt like some kind of fucked up fever dream actually seeing him standing there after all this time. How long had it actually been since that cave? The kids grew faster than normal children in the womb, but it still felt like a long time since everything had happened. She internally fumed as he said they needed to talk, and since she was "like that" that she needed to be told things. "What could you possibly have to say to me?" She stared up at him, shooting daggers while trying to keep her voice as steady as possible. This wasn't her house after all, so she wanted to try to avoid acting out if she could help it. But all of that flew was in vain the moment when Masahi stepped to the side and she saw Roman lying unconscious on the bed with Mal seated beside him. "What happened here??" she exclaimed, shouldering past Masahi to get closer to Roman to check him out. Whatever her feelings for him, she couldn't help but go into doctor mode at seeing someone who looks like they could use medical attention. She held a hand out in front of her and encased it in a light green energy. It flickered for a moment before she narrowed her eyes and grit her teeth, and then it resumed acting normally. She kneeled as best she could with her stomach and hovered it over his body, moving it to check out what was going on. Thankfully it didn't seem like much, just unconscious, and he'd be fine. But as she checked him out, she yelled out angrily at everyone who was awake in the room. "Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on??"

Ansom shrugged his shoulders. "Well, for drinks, you can never go wrong with the strawberry lemonade. Or even a strawberry daiquiri if you're feeling alcohol." He tapped his chin as he thought, looking over the menu in his head. "I usually get simply the bacon cheeseburger but the chicken tortilla soup is really good." He explained and then nodded, eventually shrugging and leaning back on his chair with his arms crossed. "It's up to you." He spoke just as the waitress came over, holding her pen and notepad to ask for drinks. "Strawberry lemonade, please." He asked for himself and then motioned to his daughter.
Yuki looked up and smiled. "I'll have the Strawberry lemonade too please." She said before nodding. She wanted to try it since Ansom recommended it, and she wondered what kind of food he would get. There wasn't much for her to do since now all they have to do is wait for their drinks. Unless Ansom wants to talk about something, which is probably a good thing to do to pass time.

Jack sighed as he walked through the darkness. All around him stars and planets shown on the black backdrop, seemingly infinite, they shifted around randomly, overlapping as if non of the others existed. Walking amongst the planets calmly jack looked around to occasionally see thick tendril of pure blackness engulf groups of these planets before remerging with the black background. However, even as he walked endlessly through the infinite darkness, a thick and blinding beam of light appeared on the horizon and shown down from an unknown location and onto his face. Instinctively closing his eyes, and shielding his face, jack slowly opened his eyes, the glaring sun shining down through a crack in the curtains beating down on his face as he blearily blinked his eyes and groaned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes before rolling out of his bed. Standing up, jack did some light stretching before lazily waving his hand, causing a dark aura to surround his body. When it disappeared, a white dress shirt fell around his shoulders. Buttoning up the shirt, he lazily walked to the door and pushed it open before blinking a few more times to make sure he wasn't still sleeping. Floating over his coffee table was a girl garbed in blue and white surrounded by screens of light. It was Ai, and from the brief flashes he saw on the screen, it appeared she was still sifting through data for whatever it was he had asked of her. It was likely something he had done on a whim and frankly he didn't even remember anymore. Walking up behind her, he gently flicked the back of her head while walking past her towards the apartments kitchen as he asked over his shoulder. “You need to eat like the mortals? If not, eat anyway. I'm bored and feel like trying my hand at that thing they call cooking this morning.”

Kaori Hana

It had been a while since Roman moved Kaori to his house. Originally he was visiting whenever he could, but as she became more visibly pregnant and less independent, it made more sense to move her to his house where both and Mal could keep an eye on her. It was nice to have another woman around who had been pregnant once to be able to help out and actually know what was going on. But also, living at Romans house made it easy for the two of them to be close. Stolen moments between the two when Mal and the kids weren’t around. Secret dates disguised as shopping trips. Feelings of love that had been buried for the longest time between the two blossoming, even if it wasn’t supposed to happen. But Kaori was happy. Even if her time with Roman was more than likely limited and forbidden, she didn’t care. But lately it was hard to get away with it anymore, with her due date growing closer and closer every day. San had confirmed it was twins, and with her almost childlike stature, it was more of a toll on her body than a normal pregnancy would be for someone. She mainly stayed at home now, usually with Mal on call since Roman also had been busy with work lately. That meant that at the time, Kaori had been relaxing in her room.

Generally the house was pretty quiet. Mal wasn’t the loudest person, and Misaki and Alejandro were off at school. But today there seemed to be quite a bit of racket. There was a lot of movement and talking, moreso than normal. She recognized one of the voices as Mal, but the other one she couldn’t quite place. The voices seemed to drift toward Mal and Romans room before quieting once more, meaning the door was closed. Kaori sat up off the bed at hearing this, wondering if Roman was home. But that didn’t make sense, she didn’t recognize the voice as Romans, so it couldn’t be him. Who else would it be then that Mal would allow in their room? Kaoris eyes widened in worried realization. What if something had happened to Roman? Even if she was very much pregnant, she was a doctor and could still help out if needed.

It took her a bit to get up, but eventually she had made her way to the door, having to take another moment to actually let her body adjust to being up. It didn’t move like it used to, but then again she didn’t use to carry two tiny humans inside her. San was big enough. Exiting the room, she entered the hallway, making her way toward Mal and Romans room. Mal was home at least, she heard that, so she’d be able to tell her what was going. “Hey Mal, what’s goin-“

Her voice was cut off as the door to their room opened, and she looked right at the person exiting the room. It felt as if the world froze as her eyes came across Masahi for the first time in a very long time. Kaori froze in place as well, her eyes staring wide up at him. Her head ran wild with too many emotions all at once; shock, anger, sadness, happiness, confusion.. pretty much every emotion that she associated with the man bloomed to the surface of her mind, leaving her unable to do anything but utter a single word.

“Masahi...”

Mal wasn't quite expecting to see Kaori, so when she noticed her standing outside her and Roman's room she was a bit confused on what it was that she needed. Though, based on her reaction to Masahi, it seemed like the two knew each other. Her brows knit together in confusion when Masahi mentioned arguing. Were they not on good terms? What exactly was their relationship to each other anyway? Based on Masahi saying they needed to talk, it seemed pretty serious. Her thoughts shifted somewhere else though when Kaori abruptly pushed past Masahi to get to Roman. The action pissed her off, not only did she just treat a guest whom had brought her husband back home safely disrespectfully but now she was demanding answers on Roman's condition as if she had the right to know. Bringing up her own hand to move Kaori's hand away from Roman she spared a glance at Masahi before looking at Kaori, her eyes slightly narrowed.

"We've already taken care of Roman, you don't need to worry about him. Now, I don't appreciate the way you're acting towards our guest. Who, might I add, was the one who brought Roman back home safely. Since you've been staying here I'd appreciate if you didn't treat our guests rudely, and lowered your voice."

Her tone was anything but welcoming like it had been with Masahi. If Mal was completely honest, Kaori staying here was something she strongly disliked, and she was only accepting that she was at the house because she was Roman's friend and seemed to need some help with the whole pregnancy thing. It hadn't taken long for her to notice the way Kaori would look at Roman, and as his wife, it was something she hated. She hated the feeling of having another woman who looked at the Roman the way she did in their house. She hated worrying about the idea of Roman leaving her for Kaori. Having Kaori at the house only made her feel extremely insecure and angry, and the longer she stayed, the stronger the feelings got.

Masahi had actually expected this to start off worse than it had, but it could always progress pass what he had thought would be the ceiling of severity. It was obvious off the bat that Mal didn't like Kaori, worse than that, Kaori was seemingly oblivious to the fact. What did it feel like? Out of all the situations he had seen and created, what could he relate it to? A wife expecting a mistress? Yes, that was it. But Roman wouldn't do that, or rather, the Roman he used to know wouldn't. Even as Mal got between Kaori and Roman Masahi still thought. Why hadn't Roman told Masahi that Kaori was pregnant? Was he planning something? He wanted answers, but he knew they wouldn't come free of charge. But right now, Masahi made a move to hopefully contain the situation by closing the door and loudly clearing his throat.

"From what I can understand, it seems all three of us have been left in the dark about something or another, some more so than others. Perhaps it would be best if I started shedding light on my end."

Using a commanding voice, Masahi demanded attention with his words. Even as he had closed the door, his posture had changed to one that projected that he was in no danger. Indeed, he was actively trying to take control of the situation, so much so that even the undertones to his voice were similar to ones that you might hear from a person holding a gun to your head or a knife to your throat. Even so, there was no hostility coming off of him. That being said, the look in his eyes was enough to see that he knew that he was the most powerful in this situation. Taking a step away from the door and towards the bed, Masahi held both his hands out in front of him. Within one appeared a standard wooden chair, then a moment later a smaller chair in the other. Masahi bent over just enough to place the smaller chair near Kaori but farther from the bed that Kaori was to Mal. Placing the standard chair down and sitting in it, Masahi began.

"First off, Kaori, you shouldn't be moving around a lot in that state, but that's beside the point. Now then, where to begin...? I guess I should start off with my real name. Only Roman ever knew it. And that would be Masahi Takamasa, of the same Takamasa clan that are the blood enemies of the Isida's. And of the Takamasa clan, I carry the gene to be and father clan heads of the Takamasa's." Pausing for a moment, Masahi pointed to Kaori's inflated stomach. "The same would apply to the lives growing inside of you, Kaori."

Ayen

After setting Kenji down Ayen made due haste going between closets and the bathroom to acquire things like towels, spare clothes, and a bucket. After that, he returned to the room and used his power to fill the bucket with hot, steamy water. Regrettably, he had lost his train of thought pertaining to what Celaena had. To that end, he made quick conversation with Celaena as he wetted a towel. "So, just how did you end up in the middle of a city? Human's settlements of glass and steel aren't exactly Fae friendly like their suburban or countryside counterparts." Perhaps his tone would give away the fact that he wasn't fully paying attention, and part of Ayen would hope that Celaene would forgive him for that, but he had an injured man in front of him, so he gave himself an out just this once. After he had flapped his gums, Ayen wrung out the excess water from the towel and set it on Kenji's forehead before turning to Celaena. "If you're hungry, you can go back to the main room, then go through the room opposite of the entrance and you'll find the kitchen. Take whatever you want, I keep it stocked in compacity for several more mouths than I ever need to feed." Ayen said in a soft tone before turning back to Kenji "For now, I'm going to see if he was anything broken, bruised, or really anything else wrong."

Celaena

At this point, Ayen was off on his own, leaving Celaena to figure out what to do on her own. It didn't escape her that his attention was focused more on the injured man, and she couldn't blame him for that. If the situation called for her to be where Ayen was, she might do the same thing. But that left her figuring out what exactly she should do in the meantime. She looked around at the vastness of his house, feeling suddenly very disconnected from Ayen once more. How many stories did this house hold that she was not a part of or did not know of? "I, uh... just kind of wandered there, I suppose. I had met someone who showed me around a bit, but we soon parted ways. Not long after that is when we met again." She answered, glancing back at Ayen as he attended to Kenji before turning her attention back to the house. As she slowly wandered around and took a look of the place, a sort of sadness washed over her. She was back, and she had found her Ayen again, but everything felt so foreign still. Or was it that she was the foreigner here? It almost felt like she wasn't supposed to really be in this situation, that it was some kind of cruel joke or fluke that she was standing here. She had missed so much of Ayen's life before now. Did she still have a place in it, after all of it?

That sentiment and worry rang through Celaena's head every day since she woke up. She clearly remembered what it felt like to die. She firmly believed that back then, she was going to die. So was it really okay for her to be okay, right here in Ayen's house? Did she really have a right to be alive right now. Thoughts began swirling in her mind, and the fae closed her eyes trying to still them. All this did was begin to make her dizzy. The dizziness compounded with the weakened state of her body and soon Celaena found herself losing her strength to stand and her balance, and she swayed backwards. Thankfully she was able to snap herself out of it enough to catch herself on a nearby wall, grabbing on to it for dear life as she held herself in an awkward leaning and half fallen over position. Using the limited strength her body had left, she was able to push herself up enough so that her back was against the wall, so she could slide down into a sitting position, albeit an exhausted one. Being in a house made from nature allowed her to finally relax and actually let herself be exhausted, which both felt nice and horrible at the same time. Now that she was in a position where her body couldn't betray her anymore, her emotions came back in full swing, and Celaena tiredly pulled her knees to her chest and cried into them, hoping that Ayen wouldn't hear her. He didn't need to be worrying about her right at this moment, not with an injured stranger in much more need of attention.

Ai

If the girl was being honest, she had actually kind of forgotten exactly why Jack had asked her to do whatever task she was doing. It was apparently both really important and not super important all at the same time, so that meant it had to get done. Even though she knew it was tedious, Ai didn't mind. She liked having something to do, and she liked doing things for Jack. He was her first real friend, and he was entertaining and fun to be around. She didn't have any alliances to anything in the world, so she could do any job he asked and she wouldn't have a care in the world about it. That attitude made her a perfect partner for Jack, considering the nature of the things he was involved in and thus the things that he asked her to do. Most times it felt like a game more than anything, even if it ended up having significant consequences IRL later on. Really, it was kind of fun getting to see the aftermath of the things that she did circulate online. And if it didn't appear online, she could access any digital devices and just see the aftermath herself. She did all of these things for Jack for him of course, but if she was honest she did it mainly for her own amusement. This time was no exception.

Ai's abilities allowed her to manifest digital screens anywhere and anytime, so by the time that the morning came she had around 10-15 of them, all with different things and databases on them. She had been at this all night to the point where she felt like she was going to have to go back to being digital to get a recharge. She could have just slept in this body and ran the search in the background, but she wanted to spend as much time awake in this body as she could. She loved having a physical body so she liked to spend time in it, though she never got a full recharge when she slept in it. So if she wanted to fully restore her energy, she'd have to go back to digital. She was debating going back digital even though she hadn't found what Jack wanted when she suddenly felt something flick the back of her head. She snapped out of her thoughts and spun in place, holding her arms defensively in front of her. Only one person ever did that to her... and he knew she didn't like it. "Hey hey hey! What was that for??" she whined, her pigtails bouncing with her exaggerated motions. Ai stared down Jack with a pout for another moment before waving the screens away with her hand to run in the background and moving from floating above the table to standing on the ground. Since she was so omnipresent in the digital world, she knew that it was pretty easy to spook her in the physical world, so she hated that Jack knew exactly how to exploit that. She couldn't stay mad, as it was exactly the same kind of prank that she herself would pull. Once she had calmed down she was able to answer his question. "Technically no, but I like to eat anyways. Whatcha gonna make, Master?~"

Kaori Hana

If Kaori had the ability to, she would have gone back in time to her room and never come out. If she would have known that seeing what was happening would lead to this, she would never leave her room again. But she wasn't afforded such a luxury, and now here they were. Kaori wanted nothing to do with talking with Masahi. He had no right to just waltz back in as if nothing had happened, not after what he did. She was trying to use Roman's condition as an excuse to not have to really look at or pay attention to him, but Mal had other ideas. She felt her hand be smacked away, and she looked up to see Mal shoot daggers at her. It made sense of course, she was well aware that Mal didn't really like her. She couldn't blame her for that. But still, she was just trying to help out, since she was the only official doctor in this room. And Mal knew nothing of what Masahi had done. So in that moment of feeling her hand get smacked away, Kaori's emotions began to fluctuate once more. "You don't know anything." she spat venomously, her eyes narrowing right back at Mal. She looked back down at Roman, wishing he was awake to be able to defuse the situation. Gods knows she won't be able to hold herself together much longer.

Kaori's eyes darted toward the door as she heard it be closed. That meant that there was no way that she could just leave. Especially not with her body the way it was. And as she watched Masahi sit down, she had a feeling that he would stop her even if she did try to push past him. That meant that she was stuck, in the last situation she wanted to find herself in. The anger wasn't subsiding, but feelings of sadness and confusion were starting to bubble up to the forefront of her emotions. Kaori felt the familiar pricks at the corners of her eyes, and she shot her gaze downward in hopes of stopping what she knew was coming. In her peripheral vision she saw Masahi place a chair down for her, but she wasn't about to give him that satisfaction. She'd remain standing even if it meant having the baby right here and now. She could hear Masahi begin to talk or give some speech or something, but it was quite hard to pay attention. All the things that she had thought to say to him if they ever saw each other again began swirling in her thoughts. She wasn't sure if the part of her that did want to see him or didn't want to see him with the honest part of herself. What do you say to someone after they abandoned you? Kaori's fists balled and her nails dug into her palms as she felt another wave of tears, this wave being more successful at escaping her eyes. They began to bead up, with a few even making their way down her cheeks. At this point, Masahi had addressed her and the babies, and she couldn't hold herself back any longer.

"Why...?" she asked, though her voice came out more as a whisper. Her lip was trembling and her throat was tight, and her nails dug further into her palms. She brought her gaze up, all the hurt that she had been feeling since the day she threw herself between her best friends showing on her expression. "Why now? After everything you did!" her voice rose and she instinctively held an arm to her stomach. "How could you just leave like that! You abandoned me! W-Why now?" her voice began to crack as her tears threatened to turn into sobs. "A-after all the lying, and the hurt, you think you can just come waltzing back in here and just act like nothing happened?? Why?!" Kaori stared at Masahi with a pleading expression, before the strength in her body gave out a bit and she collapsed into a sitting position on the chair. She looked tired and defeated, and soon brought her hands up to her eyes to attempt to wipe the tears away as more seemed to be finding their way down her cheeks.

After everything was good and done, Hyou lay in bed beside Skylar, one of his arms around her, and the other behind his head. As Skylar stroked his hair, he smiled softly and remained silent. He was enjoying the peace, the sense of happiness that he felt, and relaxation. Honestly, he just felt relieved. With all that had happened, he was at his most tranquil. Not even able to think about Perfect, of the damage the monster had done to him or his friends, and mostly Skylar. He slowly rolled over, his eyes closed, though he wasn't asleep yet. Both of his arms now wrapped around Skylar. He did that just as she told him that she loved him. With a smile on his face, he placed a small kiss on her forehead and snickered his signature laugh, "And I love you..." He said, and he looked at Skylar, his smile now a smirk, "And your moans... Gihee, I love those too." Hyou teased, before letting her go, leaving one his arms around her. He loved teasing Skylar, mostly because watching her become flustered and blush like crazy is one of the most cutest things he's ever seen. He then closed his eyes again and yawned. "Damn it, short stuff... You tired me out." Hyou then sighed and began speaking, his voice trailing off as he slowly fell asleep, "Wake me up... In... The morning... Will ya? I could go... For a huge breakfast... Right abou..." Before he could actually finish his sentence, he had fallen asleep. It was probably the most peaceful he looked while sleeping.

It was nice to finally feel relaxed for once. Obviously they had worked up a bit of energy together, but now that it was all done her body was able to decompress. All the endorphins and pheromones were circulating around them, so it wasn't hard to feel at ease finally. Hyou had done most of the work, since he wanted to show that he was really taking care of her, so she had expected him to be asleep, so it was actually a bit surprising to hear him actually respond to her. Hearing his voice made her head pop up so she could look at him, and a smile came on her face before being replaced with a bright glowing blush. "S-stupid Hyou..." she mumbled as she buried her face into his shoulder, feeling just how strong his arms were around her. They were strong, like they could easily crush her frail body, but protective, like they wouldn't let any harm come to her body either. She liked that very distinct contrast that embodied Hyou. Almost at the same time that he did, Skylar also found herself yawning, nestling herself into the crook of his shoulder that opened up when he took away the arm from on top of her. They had been at it for a while, so the sleep was finally starting to catch up to her. She couldn’t help but sleepily giggle as her boyfriend fell asleep mid sentence, though he’d probably be laughing at her if he saw how quickly she fell asleep after he did.

Diana huffed out a breathe as Abigail moved over to the coffee table the smirk still evident on her face before Diana moved over to Elliot, pulling him into a hug from behind, "W-Well I like him! Smart ass..." She said the last bit under her breathe as Abigail gave a soft laugh at the two of them, Diana's cheeks redder than a tomato by this point.

Abigail sighed lightly before she shrugged a bit, Diana pulling Elliot into a bit of a tighter hug as her head sat almost exactly next to Elliots, casting a look over Elliot a couple times before Abigail stood and stretched her arms a bit, "You want to check out your arm right?" She said cocking her brow slightly still looking at the two of them in front of her, "S-Sorry if I'm hurting you..." Diana said lowly before she loosened her hug looking at Abigail with a red face, "Y-Yeah..." She said still annoyed but tried to keep it down, moving over to Abigail as she quickly clicked it off, handing it to her as Abigail smiled lightly, giving it a quick look over sighing as she did, "What did they do to it at the hospital..." Abigail said under her breathe before she moved to the coffee table, already in another world looking it over.

As Diana walked back over to the couch she still looked extremely embarrassed, sitting right next to Elliot as she leaned her head on his shoulder, "I'm sorry..." She said in an annoyed tone as Abigail blocked them out, mumbling curses under her breathe, "She's a nice person... Sometimes..." She said giving a short laugh before she looked up at Elliot, the blush still on her cheeks.
Because Elliot had turned his head to look away, he didn't expect to be pulled into a hug from behind like that, nor did he expect that reaction from Diana in the first place. "U-Uhm..." Was all he managed to stammer out as Diana began to squeeze him tighter. He blinked with a somewhat confused expression at her behavior but assumed she was just as embarrassed as he was about the Abigail's comment and maybe that's where this was coming from?

His eyes had met hers a number of times when she had looked at him but he still didn't comment on the fact that the metal arm may have starting to squeeze him a bit more than she was meaning it to, he shook his head and smiled when asked. Was he supposed to hug her back? He couldn't really if he was being hugged from behind so he just sat somewhat awkwardly until Diana had moved away to give her arm to Abigail.

After Diana had returned and rested her head on Elliot's shoulder, he looked down at her, blinking when she apologised to him "Oh, uh...No. it's fine" watching her for a moment as she looked up at him, he moved a little hesitantly to put his arm around her but stopped, unsure if she'd find that weird or not... She had been hugging him to death earlier so he felt like she'd be okay with that. Was he over thinking things? Probably. He always did. "She was just joking around. Right?" He asked with an unsure smile. He had the weirdest feeling that Abigail disliked him or something...He waited until the woman was lost in working on the arm and not really listening before he spoke again "I was also thinking...that...uhm. when you're feeling better we can go out somewhere... As a uh...date." he asked quietly, clearing his throat a little after. Even though the tw admitted to liking eachother it was a little confusing on where they stood with eachother with it only being two days and everything so he felt taking Diana on a date or something would help sort some things out. Maybe. He was new to this sort of thing...

Diana laughed lightly before looking over at Abigail, a small smile playing on her lips as he asked, "She doesn't hate you, disliked maybe, but that's just because she doesn't know you," She said turning back to Elliot, smiling at him the light pink on her cheeks turning to an intense red that spread all over her face, "D-Date?" She said stumbling over her words as she looked lost, "U-Uhm..." She said before Abigail sighed from behind her, "That's her way of saying yes, you can have it at my bar," She said in a slightly annoyed tone before she leaned back in her chair, casting a look over at Elliot and Diana, "Also Diana, when you stop being lost over there, we've got to plan your birthday, seems you always forget, or deliberately," She said drawing the conversation away from the date.

Diana looked up at Elliot, "Y-Yes... I'd like to go on a date..." She said feeling embarrassed at the thought, but had a smile on her face, bringing her arm up to hug Elliot as Abigail sighed once again, "Diana~" She cooed out, "Wine or alcohol this time?" She said in a nonchalant tone, Diana cast a look back at Abigail the blush still furious on her face, "Uhm... Can Elliot come?" She asked a bit lowly to which Abigail simply smirked lightly, "That's a good point, can't wait to see how many guys are going to try and fight Elliot over you, ah, remember last year? The nice guy who was cute? He just said hello to you and then a fight broke out at the dance floor? Started a whole fighting ring around them for the next couple hours, was the funniest thing I've seen in years," She said in a dreamy tone, her face giving away how much fun and how much she wanted it to happen again.

Diana just cringed before sighing, "When is it again? A month?" She said in an annoyed tone, still half hugging Elliot with her one arm as Abigail smirked once more, snapping out of her previous state, "30 Days, 23 hours and 10 minutes, counting down the time until it comes," She said smirking lightly back at the two of them, mainly at Elliot as an evil look in her eyes only gave all too much away for what she was hoping for.

Elliot smiled back once she had agreed, relieved that she agreed really, offering a hug back to her. It turned out asking someone on a date was a awkward as he thought it would be, if not more so. Though his happy expression was short lived as Abigail began to talk about Diana's last birthday party. His mouth opened just slightly as all colour drained from his face "H-Huh?" He looked to Diana then to Abigail, then back to Diana "...did that actually happen?" He asked with slightly furrowed brows wondering if he really was going to get beat up just for liking Diana. He fell silent and looked to the floor for a moment as Abigail continued and stared at him wanting to break from the evil look she was giving him, actually counting down how long it would be until he would get beat up like that. Yep, this woman really did dislike him, he could feel it. Realising that that his question may have sounded like he'd flake and not go, he quickly looked to Diana looking a bit panicked that she'd think that "I'll still go though. I promise. I won't miss your birthday" he assured her, deciding that if people started anything for the sake of not ruining Diana's birthday, he'd grin and bear it for lack of a better analogy.

...ΨKenji slowly awoke in the Throne World, ignorantly unaware of his body's predicament on Earth. His red irises lowered as his gaze met the bland room's interior. The same interior he'd woke up to countless times within this place. While many Sanctums found peace within the Throne World, Kenji had unfinished business back on Earth. Kenji just sat on his bed, his eyes had frozen over like the surface of a winter puddle, robbing them of their usual warmth. He simply stared blankly to the ground and sat in the pit that had become his world, the only decorations being his own scorch marks on the walls he could not scale. Though he knew there was light at the top through using his feelings, yet it felt a large, uncountable distance away. Everytime he reached out with his pair bond to Lumina, someone he hoped could throw a rope and feel him, the floor sunk a little lower, jolting his body as it stops - crushing him with a new pain, then another, and another. And so he let his eyes become accustomed to the encroaching darkness he had dwelled in these many years and saw that intermingled with the marks of his own fire were his blood, yet it was older, it had long dried. And then he knew, he'd given up because there was nothing else for him to do. He'd made a promise to himself that he'd get himself out, if it was the last thing he'd ever do. He had to find Lumina, as his last thoughts before departing were fear due to their pair bond screaming out to him in waves of agonising pain. Something had happened to his pair before the black out. No matter how much he tried to relax and think of a rational way out of the Throne World, he couldn't forget the pain he felt from Lumina. Another wave of pain spread throughout his body, yet he didn't react. His body had become accustomed to the pain, as he had been there for what seemed like millennia, experiencing the same pain every five minutes. The only visible cues were his eyes narrowing. He simply sat there, on his bed, staring into nothingness. Then, he spokeΨ...

I will find my way back to you, Lumina. I promise..

...ΨKenji thought back to just before he fell from the sky, his thoughts constantly focusing on the pain and its origin. Through the pair bond, he could feel another presence beside Lumina before the bond sent too much pain for him. He took note of the power signature, and of the person's power structure. He could tell the race, it was a Phoenix. His rage slowly began to build as he tried to piece the events together. Someone, a Phoenix, had hurt Lumina and took her somewhere, possibly to use as a hostage to get to him. His face had long gone past the point of rage, and now the small wisp of anger within him had turned into a roaring inferno of rage. A simple facial expression couldn't express his emotion well enough, and so it was blank. He couldn't believe a Phoenix, a being far inferior to him, had attempted to gain the upper-hand by taking his pair from him, mere hours after he had returned from the dead. Not only had he been in the Throne World for millennia, and wanted nothing more than to be in his pair's presence, Lumina had been taken from him by a Phoenix. An audible crackling began to be heard around Kenji as he exhaled a small cloud of steam. Embers slowly began to form around the Sanctum accompanied by a thick black smoke. His form slowly began to change, with his hair spiking upwards, save for two thin bangs that decorated his face. Kenji slowly opened his eyes and spoke, his red irises now burning with rageΨ...

As for the Phoenix who hurt you.. It's going to be my pleasure taking away everything he cherishes. I will break him. I will make him watch everything and everyone he loves die an agonising death before his very eyes. He will suffer a fate much worse than death, and will be begging for its sweet embrace when I am done with him..

...ΨAfter he finished talking, he stood up and began figuring a way out of his prison. In the real world, small bursts of heat began pulsating around Kenji's body, not enough to burn anything around him, but warm enough to be feltΨ...

Diana Young / Abigail Black Coat
Diana had a worried on her face, looking at Elliot with scared eyes before he said yes, her smile instantly returning back to her as she pulled herself closer to him, planting a light kiss on his cheek. Abigail smiled lightly at the both of them before she let out a short laugh, "Don't worry Elliot, Diana cares for you enough that if I let you get hurt she'd stab me, or try to at least," She said in a cheeky tone before she went back to working on the arm, a look of worry before turning into annoyance before anger all appearing at once as she looked over a specific part.

Diana smiled lightly back at Abigail before she looked back at Elliot, leaning into him as she let out a sigh, a smile still on her face, "Hey Elliot? What's your favorite game you have?" She said looking up at Elliot, an intrigued look painted on her face as Abigail made an annoyed groan, "Diana, when was the last time you actually cleaned your arm?" She said giving the arm one more look over before placing it down, "The arm is working, so you have nothing to worry about, but it's dirty. Clean it sooner or later or I will take it back to my room and you won't see it for a week," She said a smirk painted on her face, Diana turning her head back to Abigail with a scared look in her eyes, "Y-Yeah ok..." She said gulping loudly at the thought of losing her arm for a week.

"Alright, next to the windows sounds nice." She simply nodded as he told her to follow him and did so.She was very glad that damned scythe wasn't following her around this time or else it would be more than awkward. Nyn sat on the other side of the booth. " Oh.. and how do you get this burgers exactly? That way I can use it for future reference so I can invite you next time." Nyn asked curiously, she highly doubted they would give burgers away for free, she didn't know what they wanted in return but she knew it was something. While it was not very suggested in the outside, she was slightly nervous about the whole - sitting in the middle of lots of people - situation mostly because she isn't very fond of strangers, as she looked at Yoichi she mimicked him and looked outside the window hoping it would calm her down. To her surprise, outside in the distance the scythe was laying against a wall, she did not leave it there, it gave the impression it was looking right through her, and in a blink it was gone. She quickly looked away from the window and stared at the table, her hands were shaking slightly and her breathing was quicker than normal.
At the time, Yoichi was enjoying the peace. No one had been annoying him, and things were going pretty well. Unfortunately, he didn't get to train today, which meant for an even more rigorous training tomorrow... Really tough training. He usually punished himself for missing a scheduled workout by working even harder the next day. It helped with his discipline and work he put towards his goal. As he looked out of the window, he heard Nyn ask him how were they gonna get the burgers, he looked at her, and raised a brow, "I'm assuming you don't know what money is then. Here comes the waitress now, don't worry about anything other than telling her what it is you'd like to eat, and drink. I'll pay for you this time, but you're gonna have to find a way to get money. Maybe a part-time job?" He suggested to her, as the waitress made it to their table. She smiled at the two of them, and asked what it is they'll be having. Yoichi looked at Nyn, only to end up furrowing his brows in curiosity. She looked stressed, or scared. to get her attention, he placed a hand on her's, "Nyn, are you alright? The waitress was asking you what it is that you wanted..."

Roman Roman
Han could only listen to the things He was being told by Thetis. He agreed that the boy was a hard headed one, and the story, like most, was a tragic one. A woman whose son lost his humanity at such a young age, only to die years later and then be revived. Zeus' involvement in it all. Han learned a lot about the god known as Zeus, and the things he would read about him or learn from others only made him seem even more worst of a person than he was before. Other than that, Han knew where Thetis was coming from. As a son himself, he was able to understand Achilles' behavior. But as a man, there was something more. Sighing lightly, Han looked at Thetis, and nodded his head, "I do. I won't hold anything against you. It wasn't all unicorns and rainbows for you, and I can't say it is for anyone. But you know as well as I do, it isn't hard to lose something in the blink of an eye. You mentioned before that Achilles had died. Well not everyone gets a second chance like that." He said, looking away from Thetis, his smile still remaining. "I'm one of those people. My mother passed away when I was a child... She was my world, and when she was gone, I felt like nothing else had mattered. I turned to a dark place. Depression. You were lucky enough for your son to somehow return, and here I am, an Angel of the Lord, not even able to have his mother back. I guess I was so angry with you earlier because you rejected my request for your help with him, I was upset. My anger wasn't in the right place, and I once again apologize for any trouble I've caused you. In a way, I was bringing my own problems into all of this mess." Han had explained to Thetis. Now it was time to actually fix this mess, with the help of Thetis and possibly Apollyon if he hadn't ran off. "There, the infirmary. I'll see if my partner is in there still. Feel free to join me if you wish to." He told her as he walked towards the door, poking his head in to see if Apollyon was still around. "Apollyon? If you're still here, Thetis and I are going to talk with Achilles. Wondering if you'd still like to tag along."

Exilium nodded and pulled out the chair in front of him, taking a seat once the chair was far enough from the table. As he took his seat, there was a slight breeze, and if he had to admit, the air blowing here on Earth always felt nice. This was his first time interacting with someone on a more social term, rather than just lending someone a hand and leaving right after. Looking at Thomas, Exilium smirked and nodded as he listened to him as his question. There was an answer for that question, but he didn't want to give the real one, but lying was no way to live a life, especially after trying to start anew after being exiled.

"Ah, I'm not that much different from you and the people around us. In a way I guess. I'm from a different planet. An alien. We are called the Limax. I've heard that it means slug in English. Pretty nasty sounding word, but I'm not offended."

Exilium explained, his eyes closed as he looked down. The area was silent enough for him to do some sort of meditation, so he was going to take advantage of that. Before he did that, he called for someone to bring him a glass of water, the only thing he needed to survive since he didn't need food.

"What about you? I think I should take back what I said about you being just a human. You could be anything since masking your true identity seems common around here. Hell, even for the humans themselves with all their plastic surgery and and strange needles full of 'Botox'."
