Skylar Ainsworth

It was nice to finally feel relaxed for once. Obviously they had worked up a bit of energy together, but now that it was all done her body was able to decompress. All the endorphins and pheromones were circulating around them, so it wasn't hard to feel at ease finally. Hyou had done most of the work, since he wanted to show that he was really taking care of her, so she had expected him to be asleep, so it was actually a bit surprising to hear him actually respond to her. Hearing his voice made her head pop up so she could look at him, and a smile came on her face before being replaced with a bright glowing blush. "S-stupid Hyou..." she mumbled as she buried her face into his shoulder, feeling just how strong his arms were around her. They were strong, like they could easily crush her frail body, but protective, like they wouldn't let any harm come to her body either. She liked that very distinct contrast that embodied Hyou. Almost at the same time that he did, Skylar also found herself yawning, nestling herself into the crook of his shoulder that opened up when he took away the arm from on top of her. They had been at it for a while, so the sleep was finally starting to catch up to her. She couldn’t help but sleepily giggle as her boyfriend fell asleep mid sentence, though he’d probably be laughing at her if he saw how quickly she fell asleep after he did.

The hours went by pretty slow for Hyou in his sleep. It felt almost like a lifetime itself. Though, maybe because it was in some away an entire lifetime itself. He saw all kinds of things as he dreamed the night away. His friends and family. Alejandro, the little cheeky redhead, who had had grown fond of over time, and Skylar. In a way, this dream made him feel like they were all he needed. After all, they were people he could trust, and they were also people he cared for and loved. The last thing Hyou saw in his dream was himself and Skylar, in a body of water. They looked pretty beat up, and Hyou honestly had the worst of it. Seems he was done for, but there was Skylar, giving him the air in which he needed. Just as that happened, Hyou's eyes slowly opened and he was greeted by the bright rays of sunlight creeping into the bedroom through the window.

As he yawned, Hyou moved just a little stretching his arms, as he groggily sat up. His eyes soon traced over the figure beside him, and with a smile he leaned over, and kissed Skylar on the cheek before getting out of bed. He grabbed his clothes and got dressed before walking out of the room, and making his way to the kitchen area, searching for something to drink or eat. Maybe both.

When Akane began talking about the voice recognition tech, Makoto spaced out for real. Though she did get the gist of it. But don't people who can't use their hands use an alternative, like their feet? However, she didn't to drag this conversation on a bit longer. Makoto nodded and just sat at the kitchen table watching Akane make her food. She was wondering if Akane was something other than an immortal human. She could already guess that Akane was something else. And it's in terms of her being. (sorry a bit rushed xD)
As Akane maneuvered around the kitchen, finally rounding up the last few materials and ingredients she needed for the meal, she caught a glimpse of Makoto in the corner of her eye. Turning to face her, she furrowed her brows and placed a hand on her chin, speaking in a rather curious tone, she asked, "Makoto... If I'm not mistaking, you're deep in thought over there. Anything you wanna share? I'm all ears if you do." She said, reaching for the cutting board, preparing to cut up some of the ingredients to fit them in the sushi. Grabbing the knife, it was evident that Akane was pretty good with it, being able to cut the food at high speeds while looking and focusing more on Makoto on anything. She wanted her to be as comfortable as possible while here before they left. There was no telling how she'd feel while they're out in the wilderness tomorrow and the few weeks and possibly months to come.

Luminaire Phoseroth

It had been a while since her father found her in the throne room of the Phoenix Royal Family. All of her memories had returned, so she recognized the place like it was the back of her hand. How many lives had she spent here, both in and out of the prison they made specifically for her? She had died so many more times than a normal phoenix would, so she had lost count when she tried to think back on it. Guilt from the memories of her more destructive lives ate at her conscience, so she followed along after her father and mother obediently as they explained what was going to happen now that she was home. She would be given her old room, but for the time being she would be kept under watch. She was free to move around the house, but not unaccompanied. Her mother had wanted to talk to her to see what she had been up to over the years that she was away, but her father had intervened, saying that it could wait until the next day. Lumina had guessed that it was just so he could make sure that it wasn't some temporary bluff. She couldn't blame him, so for the moment she was back in her room, with one of his advisors in the room keeping watch. So she wasn't really home quite yet, almost still a prisoner like she always had been.

Now that she was home with fixed memories, a multitude of feelings about her return bubbled up. She had mixed feelings about all of it, what with the nature of how her life had been. On one hand, she felt happiness that she knew who her family was and that she was able to meet them and come "home", on another hand she felt like she would never be able to forgive herself for all the hurt and destruction she caused both the world and especially her family, and on another hand she felt only resentment and sadness at the way that she had been treated before being tossed at Ayen to be "fixed." There was a part of her that understood why they did the things they did, but on the other hand it upset her that she could have been treated that way. She was their daughter, wasn't she? Shouldn't parents try and help their child for the child's benefit, and not just for preserving social status? Maybe things were different for royal families, but still. Lumina stood on the balcony attached to her room, looking out at the scenery. Her long blonde hair blew behind her head as her blue eyes pored over the sight. It really was beautiful, and felt nostalgic. This was her "home" after all. Well, more like the place where she was born as the second child of the Phoseroth family. So many years had passed since she was last here that she wasn't really sure she'd ever be able to truly call this place home, at least not completely. Maybe one day she'd get used to it.

One day, huh... the thought of having to stay here crossed her mind quite often, if she was honest with herself. With being so recently reunited with her parents, she guessed that they expected her to stay for a while. She was the long-lost phoenix princess that was finally returned home. It definitely wouldn't look good for her father, or her family for that matter, if she left again. Knowing her father, there was probably something that he wanted from her or something he had planned for her, so there was no way he was going to let her out of his grasp yet again. Especially not since she was actually fixed like he had sent her off the first time, so there really wasn't a reason to have her leave again. But of course, Lumina knew that she didn't want to stay here forever. She had to return back home to Kenji.

Kenji. Kenji was always on her mind. She longed to get back to him. There was a hollow burning in her chest ever since she had been brought here, but only recently paid enough mind to it to actually notice it was there. She didn't have to think on it long to realize that it came from her pair. There was no other reason why she would have that constant burning sensation right in her chest. If she had to guess why it was happening, she would say it was probably that he realized she was missing and something had happened to him while he was trying to find her. She sighed sadly, wishing that she could have done something to stop that. Lumina knew that she had the capability to teleport herself out of here, but there was something rendering her unable to do so. She didn't know if it was some kind of magic that was suppressing her abilities (though that was her guess) or just some kind of mental blocker after everything that had happened. She was still feeling a bit of the physical kickback after all of her memories returned at once, and spent most of her mental energy going back through them all and catching herself back up on everything that had been blocked away for the many years that she was broken. It was why she was out here, needing to get some air to clear her head.

Now that her memories were back, she was able to answer some questions she didn't know she had. Even though her reincarnation cycle was messed up, she knew she was a phoenix and therefore knew that she had to have had multiple lives. So there was always a question in the back of her mind as to how often she had met Kenji. She was happy to find out that somehow her and Kenji had met in every single one of them, even if they didn't really get to spend any time together in a few of them. If her theory was correct, the life that she had right now was going to be her default from now on, and she was grateful that it was this life that she would spend the rest of forever with. She had a feeling that even if she died and was reincarnated, her pair bond with Kenji would remain, and nothing would change. Nothing like the last time she died, with Thomas killing her. She sighed at the thought, wondering what Thomas was up to nowadays. She did carry a scar of the rune from when they shared pain even to this day, it was one of the few scars that carried over between each different form change, so she couldn't exactly escape from those memories really easily. Even still, she hoped he was doing well.

The phoenix princess was deep in her thoughts when she suddenly heard a voice behind her. "Luminaire-sama, your food is ready." The voice brought her out of her thoughts and she turned around to see the attendant set to watch her addressing her. Ah yes, Luminaire. That was her actual first name, making her full birth-given name Luminaire Phoseroth. It reminded her of Kenji's real name, being different and longer than what she initially thought it was. It wasn't exactly foreign to her, as it was a name that she went by for all the lives she spent here, but strange to be called that after going by Lumina so long. She tried to remember the first time she had been called Lumina. Kenji was always gave her a cute nickname that nobody else called her, so it was probably him. There were so many years worth of memories to go through still that she guessed she would eventually find out. "Ah, yes, thank you." she responded with a small smile, glancing back over her shoulder once more at the scenery before coming inside. Behind her, the attendant shut the door.

It wasn't necessarily unpleasant here, but she couldn't necessarily say she was exactly happy, either. Of course she was glad to be back with her biological family, but what about the family that wasn't here? The people that she called family over the last few years. Kenji, Akira, Asuka, even Ayen... As she sat down and ate the food, she slipped back into her thoughts. This time though, it was more of a debate between conflicting feelings. Should she stay here, or try to go home? There was a part of her that, despite everything that happened with her biological family, wanted to stay. She had spent most, if not all, of the years of this life wondering who they were and how to find them, and now that she had, she didn't want to let that part of her go. But on the other hand, she couldn't just forget everything that they had done to her over her many lives, and she desperately wanted to return to Kenji's side. The attendant probably noticed the conflict of her thoughts showing on her face, as she decided to write something down on the pad of paper she always carried around with her. Lumina guessed it was notes that she would take back to show the King, as her whole purpose of being around the princess was to keep an eye on her status. She sighed again, continuing to eat in silence. Kenji, please... I miss you, Lumina thought to herself, wondering just what her father had planned for her today.

She wanted her to be as comfortable as possible while here before they left. Makoto looked up at Akane and sighed. She really was in disbelief that she was just an immortal human. "I really am in disbelief that you are an immortal human. I have the feeling you're something else. Probably something that should not be known in this world. I feel like who you really are, you're keeping it as a deep secret from me. It sort of reminds me of what my mother said about my father..." Makoto said, remembering back when Himeragi had answered Makoto's question about Kuroh. Himeragi had told Makoto that Kuroh is a Sanctum, a being that exists outside of existence. To her, it was confused to comprehend since how could a being exist outside of existence? Though after awhile, she began making theories of her own that the existence is just a world and there's outside of existence, where more powerful beings come from. She was told to hush about Sanctums, since Kuroh told Himeragi it was a secret. It seemed to be really big too. Makoto didn't want to disobey her father and kept quiet about Sanctums. However, with Akane, she was trying to push it. She looked down before she spoke to Akane again, but more stern than last time. A bit more demanding too. "So... Since I'll be your apprentice and you're going to train me, just telling me your race is a secret is enough. Don't lie to me. I might start thinking that instead that I'm your apprentice, I'm just a weapon pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory."

Alejandro chuckled and let his fingers run through a few strands of Astrid's long red hair before moving his hand, his arm now around Astrid, holding her. From what he was gathering from their current situation, she wasn't used to this either. Even though he was in a relationship before this, he didn't feel like he did when he's with Astrid. After all, there's a difference between loving someone and liking. "I guess I have no choice but to take responsibility." He said, chuckling softly. "But I must be special if no one else got to see you like this, though the same goes for you. If someone saw me now, they'd think I'm an entirely different person." Alejandro said, as he lay there with Astrid in the dark room. When she said that she'd like to go out with Hyou and SKy tomorrow, and that it could be their first date, he blushed slightly. "I didn't think of it like that. I thought you'd want our first date to be just us, but then again... It be a good way for us to tell them that... We're a thing a now." He said, his smile returning. The thought of them being together was something that brought a smile to his face, and it probably would forever. Not many people end up with someone they feel so strongly for, but Alejandro was lucky enough to get that chance. "I wouldn't be surprised if they expected it already... People like them seem like the type who can smell love in the air." Now yawning, he closed his eyes. "Wanna call it a night? I'm pretty tired..."

Astrid couldn't help but let herself relax at feeling Alejandro run his hand through her hair. His touch seemed to affect her in a really positive way, especially since she was getting pretty tired and she was letting her emotions win for the day. After everything that happened, all she wanted to do was rest, with Alejandro by her side. In a weird way, she was kind of glad things happened the way that they did. Because everything happened like it did, it led to Alejandro and herself finally admitting their feelings for each other, after a long LONG time of building up. Now that their feelings were out in the air, that meant actually doing things about it. Like dates. She knew they were both pretty new at things, so she had suggested going on a double date with Hyou and Skylar just to make things a little less awkward. She was surprised when he thought differently. "I would love to go on a date with just you, of course." She added, moving her hand up to caress his cheek with her thumb. She liked spending time with Alejandro alone the best anyways. "I'm completely sure that Skylar definitely picked up on things. She's way smarter than I am." She laughed tiredly, snuggling up against Alejandro as the sleep started taking over. "Already on it." She answered to his question, breathing deeply against his chest. She could get used to this. Before long, she had fallen asleep, feeling secure in his arms for the first and definitely not the last time.

Akane couldn't help but become alert from the things that Makoto were saying. Sighing lightly, she turned to face her, looking at her with a rather bland expression. If what Makoto was saying is true, then Himeragi has a rather large mouth. She had to admit, Himeragi was a nice girl, but telling someone something that holds that much weight... Something that shouldn't even be known to her... That boyfriend of her's would be even worst. Whoever he may be, being a Sanctum, he should've already known the rules on telling someone the truth. "Makoto..." Akane said, her tone softer than usual. It almost sounded as if she was sad. There was a silence. "I want you to... Shut up." She said, smiling a little. "A weapon wouldn't be needed. I don't train to make weapons, I'm training to make you a better warrior. To fight for yourself, not for me. What you do with the fruits of your labor is your own doing, as for your father, I know nothing of him. If I was something else, I would tell you, no reason to hide it. Now, if this really bothers you that you feel that I'm lying, then so be it." She said, her smile returning as she placed the knife down on the cutting board. "Don't think for one second I'm blaming you for not trusting me... Because I honestly think you're smart for doing so, sorry. If you feel like I lied to you."

Perhaps, trying to know everything about her. She had a saddened smile in which she believes that she didn't deserve this but Akane was still eager. She was also the first student. She guessed she'd have to apologize and quit trying to pry out the truth from Akane. Though Akane's reaction was enough to tell her that it was similar. Maybe not the same, but possibly similar in some way. She bowed her head towards Akane, apologizing. "Sorry. I've overstepped my boundaries. I should be grateful that you're still willing to train me, so I won't pry any longer. Please forgive me."

Ai

If the girl was being honest, she had actually kind of forgotten exactly why Jack had asked her to do whatever task she was doing. It was apparently both really important and not super important all at the same time, so that meant it had to get done. Even though she knew it was tedious, Ai didn't mind. She liked having something to do, and she liked doing things for Jack. He was her first real friend, and he was entertaining and fun to be around. She didn't have any alliances to anything in the world, so she could do any job he asked and she wouldn't have a care in the world about it. That attitude made her a perfect partner for Jack, considering the nature of the things he was involved in and thus the things that he asked her to do. Most times it felt like a game more than anything, even if it ended up having significant consequences IRL later on. Really, it was kind of fun getting to see the aftermath of the things that she did circulate online. And if it didn't appear online, she could access any digital devices and just see the aftermath herself. She did all of these things for Jack for him of course, but if she was honest she did it mainly for her own amusement. This time was no exception.

Ai's abilities allowed her to manifest digital screens anywhere and anytime, so by the time that the morning came she had around 10-15 of them, all with different things and databases on them. She had been at this all night to the point where she felt like she was going to have to go back to being digital to get a recharge. She could have just slept in this body and ran the search in the background, but she wanted to spend as much time awake in this body as she could. She loved having a physical body so she liked to spend time in it, though she never got a full recharge when she slept in it. So if she wanted to fully restore her energy, she'd have to go back to digital. She was debating going back digital even though she hadn't found what Jack wanted when she suddenly felt something flick the back of her head. She snapped out of her thoughts and spun in place, holding her arms defensively in front of her. Only one person ever did that to her... and he knew she didn't like it. "Hey hey hey! What was that for??" she whined, her pigtails bouncing with her exaggerated motions. Ai stared down Jack with a pout for another moment before waving the screens away with her hand to run in the background and moving from floating above the table to standing on the ground. Since she was so omnipresent in the digital world, she knew that it was pretty easy to spook her in the physical world, so she hated that Jack knew exactly how to exploit that. She couldn't stay mad, as it was exactly the same kind of prank that she herself would pull. Once she had calmed down she was able to answer his question. "Technically no, but I like to eat anyways. Whatcha gonna make, Master?~"
Jack shrugged as he waltzed into the kitchen and looked over the counter at AI. “No idea, but I've heard pancakes are relatively easy to make.” Waving his hand, a thick book fell into the counter, bound in a black unidentifiable leather, covered with cryptic glyphs which couldn't be identified, yet for am inexplicable reason could easily be understood as “Aunt Mary's universal guide to beginner cooking.” turning to the page clearly marked as “Pancakes” Jack wave his hands once more, and from a darkness, all the ingredients specified on the book appeared on the counter. Starting with making the batter, Jack followed the instructions in the book to the letter, cracking the eggs and stirring everything untill it became a thick viscous goop, he then placed a pan on the stove to heat it up, and began fiddling with the knobs before looking up dead pan and speaking in Ai's general direction “Ok Google, how do I turn on the stove question mark.”

Skylar Ainsworth

Once Skylar had fallen asleep, she too fell into a long dream. Though unlike Hyou, hers were filled with pretty much only him. His face, the things he said to her, his smile... however, the dream ended as most of her dreams did, with a quick replay of the first day she met Hyou, back when he attacked her. She found herself waking up in almost a jolt, sitting up and looking around to find herself alone in the room. Skylar sighed, rubbing her eyes to try and distract herself from the dream. She hated that her dreams haunted her with that night. She wanted nothing more than to desperately forget that. It wasn't something she needed to be reminded of. In an effort to forget it, she forced her thoughts on to something else, anything. And of course, the first thing her mind went to was what happened last night. A blush found her cheeks again at remembering just what they had done, and brought the blanket up to her reddened face in an effort to hide it. Though there was nobody to hide it from since Hyou was out of the room at the moment. She couldn't believe she would actually do something like that. Thinking back on how she acted, she muffled an embarrassed scream into the blanket. That was so unlike her to say the things she did to him or act that way for him. Ugh, it was so embarrassing. Skylar took another moment to calm down before lowering the blanket from her face. "I should probably get up." she mumbled to herself, swinging her legs off the side of the bed. She walked toward her dresser and opened it, looking around for something to wear. A certain piece of clothing caught her eye and she blushed down at it, before grabbing it and some dark grey shorts and throwing them on. She walked out in the kitchen fixing her hair, smiling at Hyou when she saw him. "Hey you." she spoke, tugging a bit on the shirt she picked out. It was Hyou's shirt, a dark one with bright silver writing on the front that said "IRON". Her frame was much smaller than his to the point where it hung on her almost like a dress, baggy and oversized, but comfy as heck. It also smelled like him, which she loved.

Alejandro yawned as he lay there in Astrid's bed, staring up at the ceiling. Waking up in an unfamiliar place, he had to make sure he got used to it. He was pretty sure this wouldn't be the last time he stays over. Soon he sat up and stretched, wiping his eye a bit before turning and getting out of the bed. He honestly wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately he had to leave, so he decided to send her a text explaining his sudden disappearance, that way she wouldn't think the wrong thing or worry. Grabbing his jacket and changing back into his jeans, Alejandro left the room and soon the dorm. He was finally able to go take care some of the business he had to attend to before he forgot about it. One of those things being to visit his family. That should go smoothly, it's just the next thing he knew would take awhile, and that's putting in the order for a new sword, or an upgrade at least. Taking out his phone, Alejandro sent his text to Astrid.

"Sorry for leaving without letting you know. I have some things that I need to take care of and didn't want to disturb your sleep. After what happened yesterday, I felt that you needed all the rest you can get, so regain your strength, and try and take this day to relax. I'll be around later, but if you need anything from me while I'm away, just call or text me. I shouldn't be too busy."

Alejandro put his phone back into his pocket, walking towards the school's gates. He figured since the blacksmith he was planning on visiting is on the way to his house, he'd just stop by there first, and put in his order.

Akane smiled the moment Makoto began to apologize. The girl has determination, and she liked that about her, whether it be in trying to get information or out on the battlefield. Unfortunately, Akane wasn't going to let her get one over her though, so she responded the way she did to avoid having to answer any questions. With her smile remaining, Akane spoke, "You're apology is accepted, but for your actions... They've earned you two punishments. You're gonna be making your own dinner, and for tomorrow's training, you're going to find me. With no assistance whatsoever. I'll give you a hint though, we won't be around any major cities or anything of the sort. If you can't find me in a certain amount of time, it'll result in another situation in which I test your abilities and wits without assisting you. So, think Makoto." Akane said, grabbing the knife and tossing it in the air, and when it landed, the blade pierced the cutting board and stayed there. "Once the sun begins to rise, the timer starts." She added, before she turned a corner, only to disappear completely, which was made evident by the sound of her teleporting ability.

Ai

Though she did prefer her digital form, it was always fun experiencing new things in the physical world. Her favorite of those things being food. It felt like there was an endless variety of new foods that she could. So when Jack said he was going to make pancakes, her eyes lit up and Ai couldn’t help but smile widely. She had always wanted to try pancakes, as she had seen far too many posts on Instagram about them and she was always jealous that she never had them. She brought her hands up to her chest in excitement, her dark blue irises almost sparkling. “Really?? Yay!!!” She exclaimed, almost bouncing in place. Moments like these were why she was glad she decided to stick with Jack. After all she could just easily ship off out of his life into the internet and never be seen again. But Ai couldn't really see herself doing that anytime soon, not if Jack was going to be doing amazing stuff like this. She watched him in rapt excitement as he pulled out some kind of fancy book and made all the ingredients appear out of nowhere. It was exciting to watch until he looked over at her and asked her how to turn on the stove as if she was google. She paused, a little taken aback by his question before bursting out into a fit of laughter. “Wow, really?” She managed out between laughs. “Well, fine, if you’re gonna be like that, Master, I guess I’ll comply.” Ai cleared her throat once she calmed down and closed her eyes, searching google for the answer before repeating the first one she saw in her digital voice.
“Step 1
Place your pan or pot over the appropriately sized burner. You will be wasting energy once you turn on the electric stove top burner if you place a small pan on a large burner, for example.
Step 2
Find the knob that controls the electric stove top burner that you want to turn on. it will be located on the same side of the stove and usually labeled "front" or "back."
Step 3
Push in the knob for the electric stove top burner slightly. You will likely not be able to turn it on until you push it in.
Step 4

Turn the burner to the right. The indicator light on your electric stove top should turn on, which tells you a burner has been turned on. Continue to turn the knob until you reach the heat level you want.”

Once she was done, she grinned over at Jack.

After a few minutes of some looking, Hyou had found some orange juice, and just decided to drink that. "I'll just eat later..." He said, taking a sip of his drink before going to sit. That's when something caught his attention. Skylar's voice more specifically. Raising a brow, he turned to look in her direction and a grin formed on his face. "Mornin'..." He said, chuckling a little as he walked towards her. Reading the shirt that she had on, he could only chuckle a bit more. He noticed that it was rather large when he looked at her the first time, but what he didn't immediately notice was that it was his very own shirt. "You seem to be in a good mood. Sleep well?" Hyou asked, yawning a bit, still getting over the drowsiness. It was a long night after all. Finishing off the last of his orange juice, he placed the glass down on the table and then picked Skylar up bridal style, swiping a kiss from her almost instantly. "Of course you did." Hyou said with a smile, answering his own question. He then put her down before actually taking his seat this time, "You don't have any classes today, do you? I won't have anything to do if if ya da... Unless ya wanna go for another round now." He joked, waving his hand as he chuckled a little at his own joke. Teasing her had become one of his favorite things yesterday, surely because he felt he didn't tease her enough then.

Makoto watched as Akane left the room. She sighed out of relief. She had an idea of how to find her, she could just use drones and make them activate the cloaking and jammer setting. She just hoped Akane wouldn't be somewhere that involved being too close to military bases. She got up and went over to the cutting board to make her own food. At least Akane got out all the ingredients for her so she could make it herself. Let's begin...

After a while, Makoto had finished her cooking, filling the air with the scent of the oil from making the shrimp tempura. everything else was just mildly cold sushi. She managed to make 10 shrimp tempuras and a dozen palm-sized sushi. Once she set it on the table, she began to eat it using her hands. She would use chopsticks, but you didn't really need to. Besides, it's not like she was the only one who does it in the world, many others do it. Even some of her friends that came from the Philippines does it. After eating a few sushi and a shrimp tempura, Makoto leaned back into her seat as she looked up at the ceiling. Training starting tomorrow. That's gonna be something she'll have to get used to fast.

Exilium nodded and pulled out the chair in front of him, taking a seat once the chair was far enough from the table. As he took his seat, there was a slight breeze, and if he had to admit, the air blowing here on Earth always felt nice. This was his first time interacting with someone on a more social term, rather than just lending someone a hand and leaving right after. Looking at Thomas, Exilium smirked and nodded as he listened to him as his question. There was an answer for that question, but he didn't want to give the real one, but lying was no way to live a life, especially after trying to start anew after being exiled.

"Ah, I'm not that much different from you and the people around us. In a way I guess. I'm from a different planet. An alien. We are called the Limax. I've heard that it means slug in English. Pretty nasty sounding word, but I'm not offended."

Exilium explained, his eyes closed as he looked down. The area was silent enough for him to do some sort of meditation, so he was going to take advantage of that. Before he did that, he called for someone to bring him a glass of water, the only thing he needed to survive since he didn't need food.

"What about you? I think I should take back what I said about you being just a human. You could be anything since masking your true identity seems common around here. Hell, even for the humans themselves with all their plastic surgery and strange needles full of 'Botox'."
Thomas micro-analyzed the words of Exilium was speaking to a certain degree. And as far as Thomas could tell, they were truthful, which earned a small chuckle. Of course, that chuckle couldn't stop the conquest of his piece of cake. Yes, a green flying man, from space nonetheless, was similar to the mostly powerless humans. The idea was rather novel to Thomas, so much so that it gained a cynical smile from him. Taking a pause halfway through his cake, Thomas wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"You know, not that long ago this world's governments went crazy trying to catch what have been deemed 'Supers.' Or rather, those that possess powers or abilities past a normal human, that includes non-humans as well. Thought I'd offer the courtesy of telling you, Big Green."

Watching the Limax, Thomas grew curious. He could be the first to learn of this alien species, but he shouldn't probe, but instead get into friendly territory. Yeah, that should work. Taking another bite of his cake, Thomas played with a piece of his hair before swallowing.

"Well, biologically speaking, I am human. Though I'm also what I mentioned before: a Super. But instead of just plain powers, I wield magic. This is what I really look like, but not everyone around her is strictly human. This area has a school for supers, human or otherwise, as such it gets a lot of super traffic, that's probably the reason why no one questions you, an alien, being here in broad daylight."

Masahi had actually expected this to start off worse than it had, but it could always progress pass what he had thought would be the ceiling of severity. It was obvious off the bat that Mal didn't like Kaori, worse than that, Kaori was seemingly oblivious to the fact. What did it feel like? Out of all the situations he had seen and created, what could he relate it to? A wife expecting a mistress? Yes, that was it. But Roman wouldn't do that, or rather, the Roman he used to know wouldn't. Even as Mal got between Kaori and Roman Masahi still thought. Why hadn't Roman told Masahi that Kaori was pregnant? Was he planning something? He wanted answers, but he knew they wouldn't come free of charge. But right now, Masahi made a move to hopefully contain the situation by closing the door and loudly clearing his throat.

"From what I can understand, it seems all three of us have been left in the dark about something or another, some more so than others. Perhaps it would be best if I started shedding light on my end."

Using a commanding voice, Masahi demanded attention with his words. Even as he had closed the door, his posture had changed to one that projected that he was in no danger. Indeed, he was actively trying to take control of the situation, so much so that even the undertones to his voice were similar to ones that you might hear from a person holding a gun to your head or a knife to your throat. Even so, there was no hostility coming off of him. That being said, the look in his eyes was enough to see that he knew that he was the most powerful in this situation. Taking a step away from the door and towards the bed, Masahi held both his hands out in front of him. Within one appeared a standard wooden chair, then a moment later a smaller chair in the other. Masahi bent over just enough to place the smaller chair near Kaori but farther from the bed that Kaori was to Mal. Placing the standard chair down and sitting in it, Masahi began.

"First off, Kaori, you shouldn't be moving around a lot in that state, but that's beside the point. Now then, where to begin...? I guess I should start off with my real name. Only Roman ever knew it. And that would be Masahi Takamasa, of the same Takamasa clan that are the blood enemies of the Isida's. And of the Takamasa clan, I carry the gene to be and father clan heads of the Takamasa's." Pausing for a moment, Masahi pointed to Kaori's inflated stomach. "The same would apply to the lives growing inside of you, Kaori."

Kaori Hana

If Kaori had the ability to, she would have gone back in time to her room and never come out. If she would have known that seeing what was happening would lead to this, she would never leave her room again. But she wasn't afforded such a luxury, and now here they were. Kaori wanted nothing to do with talking with Masahi. He had no right to just waltz back in as if nothing had happened, not after what he did. She was trying to use Roman's condition as an excuse to not have to really look at or pay attention to him, but Mal had other ideas. She felt her hand be smacked away, and she looked up to see Mal shoot daggers at her. It made sense of course, she was well aware that Mal didn't really like her. She couldn't blame her for that. But still, she was just trying to help out, since she was the only official doctor in this room. And Mal knew nothing of what Masahi had done. So in that moment of feeling her hand get smacked away, Kaori's emotions began to fluctuate once more. "You don't know anything." she spat venomously, her eyes narrowing right back at Mal. She looked back down at Roman, wishing he was awake to be able to defuse the situation. Gods knows she won't be able to hold herself together much longer.

Kaori's eyes darted toward the door as she heard it be closed. That meant that there was no way that she could just leave. Especially not with her body the way it was. And as she watched Masahi sit down, she had a feeling that he would stop her even if she did try to push past him. That meant that she was stuck, in the last situation she wanted to find herself in. The anger wasn't subsiding, but feelings of sadness and confusion were starting to bubble up to the forefront of her emotions. Kaori felt the familiar pricks at the corners of her eyes, and she shot her gaze downward in hopes of stopping what she knew was coming. In her peripheral vision she saw Masahi place a chair down for her, but she wasn't about to give him that satisfaction. She'd remain standing even if it meant having the baby right here and now. She could hear Masahi begin to talk or give some speech or something, but it was quite hard to pay attention. All the things that she had thought to say to him if they ever saw each other again began swirling in her thoughts. She wasn't sure if the part of her that did want to see him or didn't want to see him with the honest part of herself. What do you say to someone after they abandoned you? Kaori's fists balled and her nails dug into her palms as she felt another wave of tears, this wave being more successful at escaping her eyes. They began to bead up, with a few even making their way down her cheeks. At this point, Masahi had addressed her and the babies, and she couldn't hold herself back any longer.

"Why...?" she asked, though her voice came out more as a whisper. Her lip was trembling and her throat was tight, and her nails dug further into her palms. She brought her gaze up, all the hurt that she had been feeling since the day she threw herself between her best friends showing on her expression. "Why now? After everything you did!" her voice rose and she instinctively held an arm to her stomach. "How could you just leave like that! You abandoned me! W-Why now?" her voice began to crack as her tears threatened to turn into sobs. "A-after all the lying, and the hurt, you think you can just come waltzing back in here and just act like nothing happened?? Why?!" Kaori stared at Masahi with a pleading expression, before the strength in her body gave out a bit and she collapsed into a sitting position on the chair. She looked tired and defeated, and soon brought her hands up to her eyes to attempt to wipe the tears away as more seemed to be finding their way down her cheeks.

Roman Roman
Her eyes narrowed a bit more at Kaori's words, partly because of the meaning behind what she said, but also the fact she was right. She didn't know anything, she'd been left in the dark on this whole matter and now she was smack dab in the middle of it with a man she just met and a woman she disliked while her husband was lying unconscious. Her attention shot to Masahi when the door closed and he cleared his throat and she listened to him try to get the situation under control. As Masahi spoke, one thing stuck out to her. Takamasa. He was Masahi Takamasa. Not only that but Tobi- no, Masahi, was the father of Kaori's children? Did Roman know this the entire time? Mal couldn't think of anything to say, what was there for her to even say in all this? Her gaze immediately moved to Kaori, who seemed to be on the edge of a meltdown. If the relationship between her and Kaori was a kinder one she might've comforted her, but that action was far from Mal's mind right now. So, instead, Mal sat there and watched everything unfold, trying to decide on what course of action she should take.

Masahi was prepared for many things, yes indeed, he'd seen many situations, learned from and guided them even. However, right here and now, he wasn't prepared. Because of that, there was an unnecessary pause between Kaori's questions and his own reactions. Mal hadn't said anything at all, which unsettled Masahi ever so slightly, but she may be the more passive time for all he knew. Either that, or she couldn't pick a side. It didn't matter much in the long run. Why now? There was no reason. Would Kaori believe that? there was a 50/50, no, a 30/70 chance she would. Given how things were going it might be best for Masahi to be blunt, even more so because player four was just laying there for the moment.

"Kaori, I'm going to be frank here, and it's only going to make it worse. But I didn't know about them, furthermore, because of that I planned on never reentering your life so you'd have a chance at normalcy. The only reason we're even speaking is pure coincidence."

Masahi words dragged out of his mouth in a monotone manner. Afterwords he let a sigh excape his lips as he stood up. What he said was the truth, and the expression painted on his face almost read 'I'm sorry', even so, he looked down upon Kaori. This wasn't a situation that could just be solved right away, not with just his tact. But Kaori did deserve answers at the very least, Mal too since she was Roman's other. Where to begin though? For the several seconds it took Masahi to think his face twisted into a small scowl. However it went back to normal as he spoke once more.

"I left because you wouldn't survive long around me. If not for my enemies, then your self-destructive decisions and, honestly, myself. And I'd like to correct one thing you've said. I didn't lie. I had foolishly hoped that I could dettach myself from who i've become, for that reason I had made an effort to ground all I said in the truth."

Having said that Masahi walked forward. The first step was normal, you could hear it, see the spot on the carpet where his foot was when it was lifted. The rest where deaf, like a ghost was walking, leaving no proof. He walked to Roman's side, one of his arms having passed right through Kaori's shoulder like it wasn't even there, no heat, no touch, nothing. Like he was forever out of reach. He moved as if daring someone to stop him, as if he knew no one could. Looking down upon Roman, Masahi wondered what happened that lead to Kaori being in the Ishida house hold, and he hoped by making an accusation player four would enter the conversation.

"Acting huh? Yes, I suppose I'm hiding whatever I should be feeling behind an act, It's something I've had to become good at, even enough to fool myself. But you know, I'm not the only one good at it. Any figure with a public and private figure needs an act. Like Roman. I'm sure when he saw how you were hurt by my leaving he put on an act, a good one too it seems. Probably out of pity, out of being powerless where you were there dying before him a second time. Even though the first time he would have died because of you, but that's for another time. What do you say Roman? Did I hit it on the head? Did you say and do things for Kaori out of pity?"

After being knocked out, carried home, and put in bed by Masahi, Roman lay out cold. It was an interesting time for him. In a way, he was there, but he wasn't. The main benefit from being knocked out was the gift of some well earned sleep, but that was all. He also learned that Masahi didn't like being pitied, but that wasn't Roman's goal back when he asked. If anything, he wanted to see if Masahi was willing to help him end the fued between their families, so he should have worded that differently and just asked instead of trying to ease his way into it. After all, it did result in him being knocked out cold.

Some time went by before Roman came to. He decided not to move though, and just recollect all of his thoughts. Seeing as he and Masahi are equals in strength, that punch actually did something. More than any punched he's felt in the recent days. People weren't as strong as he was, so it was easy for him to let his guard down, but that was an accident he should never make when he's around someone with strength like his. Ever. He heard a bit of the conversation between Mal and Masahi, and some of it made him wanna laugh, but then she said he rarely tells her anything about his past, and well... It made him sort of feel like he was holding back something from her. Roman figured at some point in the future, he'd tell her all about it, along with Masahi and Kaori's role in his past too. She deserved to know. More than anyone.

Soon after, Kaori came barging in after coming face-to-face with Masahi. If he was being honest, she was just using him as an excuse to not face the man. He was the father of her children, but he ran. Roman knew there was reasons though. He knew Masahi, and even when they were kids, he wouldn't do anything without reason. One of the main reasons he forgave Masahi for his crimes he committed when he was donning the mask. As the two argued or whatever it was, Roman could hear Mal pop in from time to time, and Kaori wanting answers from Masahi. It was strange to hear Masahi remain so calm in the situation, but at the same time, it made sense. After all they've been through, Masahi being the same boy from when they were younger wouldn't make any sense.

Eventually, Masahi had given Kaori her answers, and it was all placed on him by his brother-in-arms at the end. Did he pity Kaori? Sort of. In a way, he could understand how she felt. Sighing, as he was now called out on being awake, he sat up, looking at the three of them. Mal. Kaori. Masahi. The three people he found himself closest to. "Well, you were pretty close actually. Though you were right in some places. Kaori, when I told you about my feelings for you when we were younger, I wasn't lying. I did feel the same way you did about me back then, but you died, or well I thought you did. So I moved on, but when you came back after all those years, and you ended up getting hurt in front of me a second time, and I couldn't help, I felt that I had failed to protect you for a second time. Fortunately, Masahi was able to save you... And I took it as a third chance to make up for my failure." He explained, before getting out of bed and standing beside Masahi and Mal. Looking over to Mal, he smiled a little, "But I should have told you that I moved on earlier on. So I guess I did pity you in some way. This life I have here, I can't abandon. So any ideas of us actually being together, I want you to dismiss... Because it can't be." He told Kaori, his smile slowly fading. "You understand, right?"

Kai had made sure to make it seem like he didn't care about Violetta breaking the promise. In truth he did though. Being powerless... Being human. It was a new experience for him, and he wanted to see the entire thing out with her until the kids were old enough. Unfortunately, that may not be the case now. As he stand there with Violetta, he couldn't bring himself to say anything about it. She seemed happy. Probably because he hadn't brought it up yet, but knowing her, she'd know that he will later. "Yeah, the kids were on the best behavior, just like their dad." He said jokingly. Sometimes he was on his best behavior at least. Sometimes. When he had given Violetta the flowers and she kissed him on the cheek, he laughed a little before looking at her with a smile. "Of course I remembered. It is YOUR favorite flower. The person I hold closest to me." He told her, smiling when she called him the best and told him she loved him. "I'm not the best, I'm just trying to impress... And I love you too, Vio. More than anything." Kai responded before kissing her on the cheek and stretching, and grabbing an apple when he finished. Taking a bite of the fruit, he nodded and walked out of the kitchen and to the kids' room. "I'm gonna check on Mav, and Tori. Make sure they're sleeping well." He said as he walked away.

Violetta

Though she was glad that Kai was acting so normal, the guilt for what she knew she had done was slowly eating at her. She knew some kind of argument was going to happen later, one that she couldn't just talk her way out of. She had messed up, and she knew it. Even if she did have her reasons. Even still, Violetta laughed as Kai mentioned he compared their kids' behaviors to his own. If that was the case, then they must have been a handful. Though as a mother, shouldn't she be the one to stay home with them? She smiled up at him as he kissed her cheek back, nodding as he said he was going to check on the kids. "I'll be here when you get back!" she called after him, grabbing an apple of her own. When he had left the room, Violetta changed back into her human form, staring down at the apple with a guilty expression. "I really am the worst, aren't I?" she spoke to herself. Kai had been nothing but amazing throughout all of this. Taking time off of his job, taking care of the kids, even going so far as to go the extra mile for the things she loved. And yet she couldn't even seem to return the favor. Now that she was human, the emotions that she had been feeling were increased twofold, and she had to sit down from it all. Hopefully she could get ahold of herself by the time Kai got back.

Roman Roman

Kaori Hana

To sum up what was happening, this was probably the worst situation that Kaori could have found herself in. It felt like her whole world was collapsing around her. Mal hated her, Roman didn’t want to be with her, and Masahi was apparently back without any warning. Though her tears didn't stop, her hands fell to her lap weakly, feeling like trying to stop them was pointless. It seemed like she really was the odd one out in this situation. The unnecessary one. Of course. How could she have been so selfish? Thinking she could just have a life here with no problems. That was naive, since she apparently seemed to be the cause of all the problems that were happening. Maybe it would have been better if she had just stayed dead after all. She was just a constant reminder to Roman, and really even to Masahi, of some of their biggest failures in life.

That wasn't to say her anger at Masahi hadn't dimmed. It was just kind of numbed for the moment as she processed what was happening. For the moment, she couldn't really do anything except listen to him anyways. So. He really was planning on never being a part of her life again. She couldn't really decide how to feel about that. Instead, a hand curled around her stomach protectively, as if that would do anything. And yeah, it was a coincidence. A horrible one, but a coincidence nonetheless. Her life seemed to be an endless amount of those.

Kaori couldn't really find the strength to bring her head, up so she wouldn't have seen Masahi's apologetic face. And even if she did, she probably wouldn't have known how to feel about it. She probably would have believed it, but also not wanted to believe it at the same time. So maybe it was a good thing she couldn't see how guilty he might have felt, because it might have only added to her own. His next words hit like a dagger in her heart, of why he just left. Of course. No wonder he wouldn't want to stay around her if she was going to throw herself at attacks that would kill her. Even still, if he didn't want to be around her, he could have at least told her why instead of just leaving her. Abandoning her with no reason why.

And now Masahi was bringing Roman into the mix. She couldn't help but look over at him as Masahi mentioned him, wondering when he might wake up to help the situation. Her eyes widened a bit as her view of Roman was suddenly obscured by Masahi's figure, slightly surprised that he had managed to literally pass through her without her feeling it. Her gaze dropped back to her lap as Masahi accused Roman of only acting toward her out of pity and nothing else. She didn't want to hear him say that. There was a part of her that hung on to the hope that it wasn't true, but that hope was dashed when she heard Roman's voice for the first time today. His words cut like a hot knife against her heart, even though she knew he was right. All he did for her was because he felt guilty about everything he had done. None of it was because he cared. All because he felt pity for her and had to make up for the consequences of his decisions. They were her decisions too, so to hear that was like a punch in the gut, taking away any responsibility she had in anything that played out.

And then he went on to confirm her fears about how he felt, professing his choice of his current life and family over her. Though she wouldn't admit it, there was a part of her that just knew this day was coming. Her mind went rampant with the memories of the days after she found out she was pregnant before more tears came to her eyes. He was looking for an answer, an answer that she understood what he was saying to her. Of course she did, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. Kaori brought her gaze up to look at Roman, forcing a smile through the tears that were pouring down her face. "Of course. It seems I've overstayed my welcome anyways. I-I'm sorry." She had already hurt them all enough as it was, they didn't need to deal with her any more. With that, she turned her face away from everyone and started moving toward the door, aiming to leave from their lives forever.

He honestly wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately, he had to leave, so he decided to send her a text explaining his sudden disappearance, that way she wouldn't think the wrong thing or worry.

Len was what one might call a morning person, or a wanderer, or a pervert, or an early bird. Either way, he was outside, it was early, and the morning joggers had yoga pants on. Yes, indeed, life was good, but it would be bad to just run up and... examine each jogger. With that in mind, Len was just keeping himself mostly hidden in the greenery on the way to the school. He had forgotten a book there the other day and he wanted it back. Well, that, and some clubs might be doing morning activities, which were nice to watch. However, about when Len reached the gates he realized that he didn't hear the usual noise for a school day. Instead, there he stood in a uniform as a student around his age was in casual wear, leaving the grounds.

"Hey, Mr jeans, what's up? Did I miss something?"

It was a lot to suddenly unload upon Kaori, no, a lot was the understatement of the year. That being said, Masahi also had to consider several things. Kaori wasn't going to want to stay with Roman at this point, but he couldn't just let her go. She was starting to walk away, confused, sad, angry, lonely, frustrated. It would be almost nostalgic if not for what memories it unearthed within him. At this point there was no taking back what was said, no denying any of it. Forward was the only way now, and with how Kaori was, she seemed bound to do something regetable if left on her own. As much as he hated it, Masahi was going to have an in the moment decision. What came after it would be his problem, and his only. Well, for now anyways, Masahi cleared his throat and annonced himself.

"I think I've been here long enough, I only came to drop Roman off anyways." Pausing for a moment Masahi looked at Roman and gave a flat grin. "Well, we'll be in touch... I'll take our leave then."

Having said that, Masahi walked towards the door, or rather, towards Kaori. He'd make it fast, without explaination, and without a way to reverse what he will do. He was tangable this time as he neared Kaori, stopping just behind her, almost as if he was waiting for her to move. Was what he had planned really the right move? He couldn't know for sure, no, he would know later when it will be once again too late to turn back. Letting out a sigh, Masahi placed a hand on Kaori's shoulder. "You won't last a week on your own, you know?" Muttering those words, Masahi placed one hand on Kaori while waving goodbye to Roman and Mal behind him with the other. In the same moment Masahi activated Kamui before Kaori had a chance to get away or compain. For only Masahi and Kaori the scene changed, briefly to a stoney viod, then to a high class apartment that Masahi had used for meetings of the political nature in the past. From the large windows it could be seen that they were near the top floor of a building deep in the city.

"If you don't like this, become strong enough to spite me. But until then, I'm not done with you, nor our children. So don't think for a moment your ending up on your own now." Masahi almost ranted, however he took a moment to take a breath and put some distaince between him and Kaori. With a quick glance he say the door out was still locked so she couldn't just bolt. "That being said, Roman knows where this is, and we need to catch up on at least a few things."

Skylar Ainsworth

Just seeing Hyou again was enough to make Skylar get all kinds of embarrassed again. Last night was definitely on the forefront of her mind, so seeing his face again brought back all the feelings from then and made her feel a bit awkward. In the same vein however, seeing him smile at her did make her relax a bit. “Yeah, you’re a pretty good pillow~” She jabbed at him, giggling at how adorable his yawn was. She was also pretty tired from everything, but she would get her bit in before he could do the same to her. Like when he literally swept her off her feet for a kiss, one she melted into almost instantly. She was kind of sad when their lips parted and he sat her down, she was enjoying the sweet residual taste from the orange juice. Once she was sat down, she went to go grab a cup to pour her own glass of juice. “Yup, I’m free all day.” She nodded, before he joked about going at it for another round. “S-stupid Hyou, I think we’ve done enough of that for a while!” She sputtered, her face blooming bright red as she dove into the fridge for the juice to try and cool her head.

However, about when Len reached the gates he realized that he didn't hear the usual noise for a school day. Instead, there he stood in a uniform as a student around his age was in casual wear, leaving the grounds.

"Hey, Mr jeans, what's up? Did I miss something?"
((Sorry about the short start))

Alejandro had his entire day mapped out in his head, and for the most part, he felt things should go smoothly... If he wasn't so worried. The conditions Skylar, Hyou and Astrid were in after they fought Perfect and Skylar was released, along with Akane and Astrid. Then there was a moment in time when everything just went black. It was strange. He had saw somethings that he had never expected to see, and honestly, he couldn't even comprehend some of it. Tossing the he thoughts to the side for now, he was spoken to as he made his way to the gates by a fellow student. "Mr... Jeans?" He asked in response to being called such a strange name, before he stopped and took a look at himself and then the new fellow, who was donning the entire uniform. "Haha, very funny. And from the looks of it, you haven't missed a thing. Nothing has happened around here in awhile. Just peace and normalcy... Of sorts." Alejandro said, looking around the area to see if there was anything that could be considered off, or even in the slightest, interesting. Unfortunately, nothing caught his eye. What was interesting was this guy. Alejandro knew quite a few people here at school, but never had he come across this person, and that piqued his interest. "You aren't new here are you? I don't believe I've seen you before. I'm Alejandro by the way. Alejandro Ishida. Nice to meet you..." He said, trailing off as he waited for him to finish off the sentence with his name.

Chiharu

The small girl was having a great time. She got to spend time with her mama and papa, and she wasn't even really all that freaked out by the fact that they were in the infirmary. She still had her memories from when she was in the hospital, so it wasn't her favorite place to be, but if her mama and papa were there, then it was okay. And they were having a really good time, too. The food was really yummy and even though they were talking about a bunch of stuff that she didn't really understand, that was okay. Rini was smart and had brought some games for Chiharu to play with and be entertained by, because there wasn't going to be a whole lot to do while they were here and her attention span was a tad bit sporadic. So while Rini and Misafune were talking about their date, Chiharu had found herself sitting on the edge of the bed with a bunch of plastic animals. She was pretty engrossed in this until she heard Rini talk to her about visiting her brother or sister one day. Chiharu looked up at Rini inquisitively, wondering what she meant. She had been an only child her whole life, and with her change back to being a five-year-old after growing up to be 18 years old, her knowledge about the world was all kind of wonky. "What's a brother and sister?" she asked, looking over at Misafune as if he might know what Rini was talking about. As she was waiting for an answer, a man entered the infirmary, and Chiharu brought her gaze over to see who it was. "Mama, who's that strange man?" she asked, pointing over at Apollyon.
