Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

--Apollyo the cosmic ragdoll--

"Sure we can try to talk to her. Its worth the shot." he agreed and braced himself for what was to come. "Ready when you are." he finished. He loved that beings with power just bamfed him where ever they wanted him. Agreed, he cant banf anywhere, well maybe he could, if he wanted to try and see the extent of his powers. But as it stands it seemed like a pain in the ass to try so he closed his eyes waiting for the rush of being returned to where he was before, plus one more.

Han stood up from his chair and snapped his fingers, Apollyon's chair disappearing when he did. "Lets go then." He said, placing a hand on Apollyon's shoulder, and just like that they vanished, reappearing on school grounds. "Alright, hopefully she's still here. Pretty sure a lot of the teachers and staff most likely made their way home by now." Han said, folding his arms and turning to face the school building. He began to float, using his powers instead of walking. "Know what classroom she teaches in? I can't remember." He asked, leading the way as he floated towards the building.

Mal nodded in agreement, moving back to the door and shutting it. If anyone were to see an unconscious Roman it'd lead to a lot of questions. She didn't want any unwanted company anyways, she felt it was better that she was the only one to find out about this. Listening to his suggestion of punching Roman in the face, she immediately started laughing and spared a glance at Roman's unconscious body as she spoke.

"Oh god, I don't know if I could ever bring myself to do that, I'd feel horrible. Maybe if it's my last option I will, but after I try every other possible option."

She was quick to move over to Roman when he gestured for her to do so, he didn't seem to have any severe injuries but she wanted to make sure. Taking a seat on the edge of the bed next to Roman, she took a moment to search for anything she should get checked out. Seeing nothing, she smiled, it wasn't strange that he wasn't bruised, she knew how quick his body was to heal itself in these cases and expected nothing less.

"He seems to be fine, the most pain he'll feel when he wakes up is a possible headache. At least, from what I've experienced. So, Tobi, I'm guessing from what you've told me that you're a close friend of Roman's? I'm glad he has a friend like you, it sounds like you're pretty fond of Roman."

Watching Mal tend to Roman, Masahi grinned on the inside. He was almost certain the Roman of his youth would complain about such treatment, after all, he was pretty stubborn even when Kaori had to heal him. However, just standing there was getting nothing done, so Masahi cleared his throat before stepping forward and towards the door.

"Trust me, it's nothing to feel bad about, after a few times I'm sure he'll just listen to you anyways. Just leave at one punch each time, and let the punch convey your frustration."

As Masahi joked he turned around, his face had softened a little. Had things worked out differently, would he had been the best man for Roman's wedding? Was it fine to even think those things? Masahi had lost out on so much that he wasn't even sure if he could make a call on that matter, so he let out a sigh before staring at something that wasn't even there. He could only shrug his shoulders as he refocused on Roman's still form as he lamented.

"It's been so long it's had to say. Up until recently, he didn't even know I was still alive. He believed that I died saving him, that's why my face, among other things, is scarred. We were child soldiers, so life wasn't that great, to begin with. Though on the surface we didn't get along, we understood one another, and despite blood differences, we were brothers. But it's been almost ten years, and so much as happened, he's clan head here, and I'm just someone in the shadows anymore."

--Apollyon the traveler and teenage councilor--

"Pretty much think she could be in the health classroom or infirmary. I do not think she has a home to speak of." he said when he opened his eyes as the rain had turned into a light drizzle. "It is sad that such a hottie has to teach these pups how to do what nature makes them do best, though." he said as he pointed at the science wing.

--Thetis, the oft called hottie, and more oft denier of advances--

She allowed herself to meld half way into the large tub of water behind her desk. The room stunk to her of puberty, perfume and cologne and hormones. Her sensitive nose was a curse, as she knew that humans did not live like the animals they are, not sticking with a single season to go into heat, but going into heat the minute mother nature decided it was time for them too. Mother Nature could be a fickle bitch when it comes to humans, but it was her job to guide these energetic balls of near adults into the concrete world of adulthood. She really wanted to be nude, but the fear of some student needing life guidance barging in kept her dressed in her classic diaphanous robe that hid all the important parts, but also hid little from the imagination. It was more comfortable this way, and she grew bored with this age's mode of dress. Way too many layers of cloth to clean, and it fit her form, but prevented any other movement but walking and standing and bending. She was grading their journals and sipping her mulled wine, since the principle forbade her from drinking the good stuff in her private stash. She worked hard for that wine too. Luckily most of the nymphs of this era were predisposed into their careers or if they knew she still had some of the ancient wine, this school would surely look like a massive Victoria Secrets photo shoot flash mob of models. Her sisters and cousins got into the modern era where they could fit in and well, sex addled beings made better models, she figured.

Han raised a brow, hearing that she didn't have a home... In a way that is. Sighing lightly, he continued on towards the science wing now. "Then to the science wing we go, we'll split up. One takes the infirmary and the other takes the health class. Whoever finds her contact the other if possible." He said, looking at Apollyon. A few minutes went by before the two of them were entering the science building, and thus began their search for Achilles' mother. "I'll head to the health class, you go to the infirmary, and remember, we have to contact one another if we find something." He told Apollyon for taking off, his immediate destination being the health class.

--Apollyon--

"Got it." he spoke as he broke away, moving to the infirmary. He arrived to hear the faint wisps of conversation of a girl student, a younger girl student and a boy. He prayed that nothing illicit was going on, but the smell of curry drifted to his nose and he opened the door softly, hoping to get a good look at the situation inside. He spotted a male student on the bed, eating dinner with a little girl and a girl with antler like things on her head. They looked happy, but this was important. "Ey, yo! Any one see the nurse health teacher?" he called out as he walked into the room with his hands up to show he was friendly.

Han had made it to the health class, attempting to look through the door's window before knocking. He didn't see anyone, and assumed she must've been in the back area of the class, doing some sort of work. Running a hand through his hair, he let out a sigh, hoping she was in the class or this would all be for nothing at this point. He raised his fist up to the door, knocking a few times, hoping someone would come answer. "Anyone inside?"

--Thetis--

Hearing the knock and then the voice she looked up from her work. "Come in." tried to sound pleasant, but that train already left the station with the last class that day. So she tried to keep her voice from hinting at her annoyance at the intrusion of her private time, but was failing. "Please close the door behind you also." she said as she returned to her work, wanting to get at least a majority of these done before dinner.

Hearing a voice, he smiled, obviously happy that this was working out. Placing a hand on the doorknob, he calmed himself, before turning it and pushing the door open. "Oh, ah, sorry if I'm interrupting your work. You're Thetis... Correct? If so, my partner and I would like to have a word with you... It's extremely important." He said, stepping into the classroom, closing the door behind him, revealing his angelic form to the woman. His wings had disappeared so he could fit through the door. "Mind if I take a seat? I'll have to make a quick call to him, we were looking all over for you."

--Thetis--

"Extremely important you say? Take a seat, but talk tome, as this stack of stuff to be graded has priority." she said looking over the rim over her glasses at the celestial being. She really did need to sort this era out. "Yes I am Thetis, no I will not go out with you, no you do not need to know my three sizes, no I do not feel like a drink, or dinner. No, I am not currently needing a man, no I cannot fathom the fun and good times you think you can show a sea nymph, and no I do not want any girl scout cookies." she said flatly as the current journal looked like some girl got bored and doodled the hell out of it. "So unless the world is ending, Zeus and Poseidon are having a major brawl, or there is a super powered medical emergency, I beg of you to make your business quick." she finished as she wrote a large worded note in the girls journal.

Han was about to make his cellphone appear just as Thetis began speaking. From the sounds of things, she was telling Han that he couldn't flirt with her in any form or way. Hell, he couldn't even ask her to buy cookies. With a smile on his face, he held up a finger, "I... Wasn't gonna do any of that..." He said, laughing a little. If he was being honest, he never did. "Sorry if I gave off that vibe, I was just going to ask about your son, Achilles. He's going through some stuff, and I feel like I may be the source... More so the cause. You see, he dates my sister, and well... There's a rift, so to speak, between the two of them right now. I heard from my partner that he isn't taking it so well. We were hoping you called talk to him." He explained, his cellphone appearing in his hand. He then dialed Apollyon's number, pressing call and awaiting for an answer.

--Thetis, the Angry Momma bear sea nymph--

She stopped and took her glasses off and squeezed the bridge of her nose. "So your telling me, my asshole, dipshit, son is dating? And some glorfied delivery boy's sister? And said little minx stopped hitting his nose with her tail, and your the cause? AND now your telling me he can't even understand why, or the general concept of women?" she tried to speak calmly, but her anger has now reached the point that the water she is sitting in is now boiling over. "And you want me to deal with it? That fucking asshole boinked his way around his fathers kingdom when he was legitimately alive. Even made a son. But waltz in here with your back full of wings, and celestial sparkles telling me he cant deal with his angst? What the bloody fuck am I supposed to tell him? Give him the birds and the bees talk? Tell him to nut up or shut up? I AM A FUCKING WOMAN DAMMIT!!!" she said as she almost snapped. "How am I supposed to deal with a boy child? He was the only son I ever bore, and do you think he even listened to me? No, I offered him an escape from the war, I wanted him to live till i seen grey overtake his golden locks, But fuck no, he went and got himself killed in the prime of his life. So if you know what honeyed words I can say to the bull headed bastard, please, do tell me." she finished fuming as she downed her glass of mulled wine and poured another.

Han looked at Thetis, and then his phone. She wasn't pleased with the news he had just given her, he understood that she was angry, but she wasn't holding anything back. Firing a few shots at Han, he placed a hand on the table, standing up and looking her directly in the face, "Ma'am, for one I am not a delivery boy. I am a Warrior of God, and I'm not demanding any respect from you, but I am requesting you be civil here with me. Now, I suggest you relax, because I don't want to do anything I'd regret. I'm begging you." Han said, turning his back to Thetis. "Your son seems like he means well, but if he can't handle himself in a situation like this, then I'll have to get rid of him. For good. Now I was informed you'd react in a way similar to this, and for some reason I took the warning with a grain of salt like an idiot. I'm not this boy's father, and I don't want to be. Hell, he probably hates me. But you're his mother and you won't even go talk to him because he doesn't listen to you? Then make him listen. Half-ass parenting won't do you any help, and it obviously hasn't. Use that anger you're feeling on him now, or he and Kanon will be like this for a pretty long time."

--------Diana Young--------

Diana took the phone from Elliot as she gave him a light smile, "Thanks, It should only take a moment," She said giving giving the same smile as before she took a couple steps away, leaning against the wall to the kitchen before she tapped in some numbers holding the phone to her ear as a low ringing noise sounded out, "Hello? Who is this?" An empty toned voice sounded out over the phone as Diana smiled a bit more than before, "Hey Abigail, it's me Diana," A crashing noise could be heard over the phone before Diana retracted the phone from her ear knowing what was next "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS HI!?" The screaming from Abigail sounded out as Diana gave a short laugh, "Uh... I'm fine.. I met someone who helped me out, and their pretty sweet as well," She said as a light blush coated her cheeks, casting a look over at Elliot.

A short conversation ensued before Diana gave the location to where they were over the phone, a quick goodbye and the call was ended, giving a light sigh she walked back over to Elliot holding out the phone to him, a light blush still coating her cheeks, "Thanks," She said smiling lightly towards him.
Elliot shrugged a little "Take whatever time you need" he answered with a smile before she had made her way to the kitchen to use the phone. Elliot went ahead to look for some games on the games shelf again while she dialed the number, he didn't want to look like he was staring and listening to her phone call. Elliot visibly cringed on Diana's behalf when the shouting could be heard. He continued to pull out a few multiplayer games he thought Diana might like as she continued her conversation. His eyes had caught hers when she referred to him. His face flushing red when he was described as sweet. His gaze returned to looking at his games. When he felt he had taken enough out, he took them to the coffee table.

It was after this that Diana finished up the call and handed the phone back to him. "Ah, you're welcome" he said offering a short smile "Whoever you were talking to sounded excited to hear from you." He joked lightly before turning his attention to the stack of games on the table. "I uh. Gathered up some I thought you might like?" He said gesturing towards them. Some were racers, some were shooters, fighting games, a few puzzles or 'party' games "Uhm sorry if none of them look fun" he gave a nervous sort of laugh after his apology as he rubbed his arm with his hand.

Yoichi walked inside after Nyn, the door slowly closing behind him as he let it go. "Alright, we'll find ourselves a seat. Preferably one close to the windows, I like looking out of them when I'm here." He said to her as he pointed to a booth. "Over there seems good, follow me." Yoichi finished, before walking towards the booth he had just pointed at. Once he made it there, he took a seat on one side of the booth, sliding in close to the window and turning to look out of it. He simply looked, observing the things that were going on out there. "Now we wait, someone will be with us shortly, Nyn."

"Alright, next to the windows sounds nice." She simply nodded as he told her to follow him and did so.She was very glad that damned scythe wasn't following her around this time or else it would be more than awkward. Nyn sat on the other side of the booth. " Oh.. and how do you get this burgers exactly? That way I can use it for future reference so I can invite you next time." Nyn asked curiously, she highly doubted they would give burgers away for free, she didn't know what they wanted in return but she knew it was something. While it was not very suggested in the outside, she was slightly nervous about the whole - sitting in the middle of lots of people - situation mostly because she isn't very fond of strangers, as she looked at Yoichi she mimicked him and looked outside the window hoping it would calm her down. To her surprise, outside in the distance the scythe was laying against a wall, she did not leave it there, it gave the impression it was looking right through her, and in a blink it was gone. She quickly looked away from the window and stared at the table, her hands were shaking slightly and her breathing was quicker than normal.

Elliot shrugged a little "Take whatever time you need" he answered with a smile before she had made her way to the kitchen to use the phone. --------Diana Young--------

Diana smiled lightly when she looked at the Games, "Dealers choice, if you think a game is good I'll trust your decision," She said smiling at Elliot as a light blush remained on her cheeks. She walked over to the couch with Elliot carrying a few games. As she sat their and played some games with Elliot she kept smiling the whole time, taking the occasional peak over at Elliot to be caught sometimes, them both having blushes a few times over and over. They played a good amount of some of the games before a knock came at the door.

Diana pulled herself up and made her way over to the door, holding onto her wound before she looked back at Elliot, "Uh... I might recommend not getting her angry... She's not the best at being normal either," She said giving a short laugh before she opened the door, revealing a woman dressed head to toe in a black and grey mixture of wool and long pants, a scarf and umbrella over her arm, piercing Amber eyes accompanying her.

A heavy breathe escaping her lips before she pulled Diana into a hug, squeezing her tight, "Christ Diana... Scared the life out of me..." She said sighing lightly before her eyes shot to Elliot, she was only a bit taller than Diana, at least a head more, a low hiss escaped Diana's mouth before Abigail sighed letting Diana go, "So he's the sweet person? Doesn't look like much." She said in a cold tone as Diana laughed lightly. Looking back Elliot with a soft smile, "But, I'll trust your decision, don't get pregnant three days after you met someone," She said with a small smirk on her face as Diana's face turned more red than a tomato.

"Wh- Huh!? I... Uh... Uhm...!?" She said looking between Elliot and Abigail before she laughed lightly, Abigail lightly poking Diana in the face, "Keep it together tomato," She said laughing once again as Diana stood their awkwardly, looking like she wanted to crawl into a ball at this point.

Elliot had left his controller down as the door knocked but Diana had already gone off to answer it. Her warning caused him to look a little uncomfortable but he nodded his head. He had already heard this woman screaming over the phone so he understood maybe anger issues may be a thing this woman had. He'd try his best he guessed.

He watched the woman enter the room, about to introduce himself to her but instead was met with the comment of 'not looking like much' which caused him to lower his hand he was about to wave with and give an uncomfortable laugh "N-Nice to meet you..." He said at an almost inaudible level.

Her next comment to Diana caught him off guard completely as his whole face flushed red. He didn't even have a comment on that, he had just averted his gaze completely by whipping his head in the opposite direction when Diana had glanced over. Wanting to hide his head in his sweater again.

But it's been almost ten years, and so much as happened, he's clan head here, and I'm just someone in the shadows anymore."

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind then"

She laughed, standing up from the bed as Masahi began making his way to the door. Her eyebrows raised as he explained his and Roman's relationship, It must have been rough for the two of them. She nodded her head, understanding what he felt towards the situation. Her gaze softened as she looked at Masahi, then she responded.

"Your relationship with him might be a bit unstable, considering everything that's happened, but I'm sure you're still someone important to Roman, even if he doesn't show it entirely. It's hard to stop caring about someone after you've already started, the feelings there even if you don't acknowledge it."

She looked between the two. Really, she hadn't known a good portion of what Masahi had revealed to her. As much as she and Roman relied on each other, there were always going to be things they didn't mention to one another, and this seemed to be one of them. Brushing off the thought she returned her focus to the matter at hand.

"I'll stay and let him know what happened when he finally wakes up, you're free to leave whenever you feel like it"

At Mal's words about Roman, Masahi offered an honest smile for the first time since meeting her, hell, for the first time in a long time, it almost kinda hurt to do so. From here he would go back to the suite he was staying at in the city and wait for Roman's next move. Even though it was Masahi's own fuck up that had caused this, he couldn't feel about it somehow. Just getting a peek at what Roman's life had become, it made Masahi's burdens feel slightly lighter. Despite all his wrongs, he did save at least one life.

"When Roman wakes up, tell him to buy flowers for his plans tonight, oh, and don't let him sleep for too long either, you'd both be disappointed~"

As Masahi mused he turned towards the door, waving his hand. Walking at it, Masahi forgot to activate Kamui and walked into, resulting in a loud thump. In shame, Masahi stood there for a few seconds, before clearing his throat. Looking over his shoulder, Masahi mumbled out a few words, taking one last look at the seemingly fine, sleeping Roman.

"Please forget that ever happened."

After that Masahi manually opened the door and left the room.

--------Diana Young & Abigail Black Coat--------

Diana huffed out a breathe as Abigail moved over to the coffee table the smirk still evident on her face before Diana moved over to Elliot, pulling him into a hug from behind, "W-Well I like him! Smart ass..." She said the last bit under her breathe as Abigail gave a soft laugh at the two of them, Diana's cheeks redder than a tomato by this point.

Abigail sighed lightly before she shrugged a bit, Diana pulling Elliot into a bit of a tighter hug as her head sat almost exactly next to Elliots, casting a look over Elliot a couple times before Abigail stood and stretched her arms a bit, "You want to check out your arm right?" She said cocking her brow slightly still looking at the two of them in front of her, "S-Sorry if I'm hurting you..." Diana said lowly before she loosened her hug looking at Abigail with a red face, "Y-Yeah..." She said still annoyed but tried to keep it down, moving over to Abigail as she quickly clicked it off, handing it to her as Abigail smiled lightly, giving it a quick look over sighing as she did, "What did they do to it at the hospital..." Abigail said under her breathe before she moved to the coffee table, already in another world looking it over.

As Diana walked back over to the couch she still looked extremely embarrassed, sitting right next to Elliot as she leaned her head on his shoulder, "I'm sorry..." She said in an annoyed tone as Abigail blocked them out, mumbling curses under her breathe, "She's a nice person... Sometimes..." She said giving a short laugh before she looked up at Elliot, the blush still on her cheeks.

She watched him silently as he continued to practice his sword moves, one of her elbows rested on her knees, now propping up her head using her hand as she watched. The rain was still pouring down at pretty much full power so there wasn't exactly a clear indicator of when it would end. Her eyes had moved from viewing Kansuke's sword moves to view his expression. It looked troubled, serious maybe even frustrated? She didn't know which it was, if any but it was definitely different than the oddly familiar calm and goofy grin she had been seeing a lot of while spending time with Kansuke so far. But this serious expression he was wearing as he practiced was also pulling some familiar feelings to the surface too. She had once again been given a rush of fuzzy unclear thoughts like in the corridors of the school her eyes glazing over once more as they played out in an attempt to sort themselves. She shook her head in an attempt to ignore them, standing up as she walked around in an attempt to compose herself.

She didn't bother to alert Kansuke, not wanting to bother him with more of her odd unsorted thoughts. She had continued to walk around, walking around to the opposite side of the tree. While this had been going on, Mizuki hadn't noticed that the two weren't exactly alone under the tree. The only thing that had even brought her out of her thoughts as she walked around was a warm puff of air hitting the back of her head along with a low grunt. She immediately snapped out of her thoughts after feeling this, she froze in place, slowly turning her head until her eyes were met with what had snuck up behind her. An ugly red creature, it's eyes staring right at her as a handful more of the red creature gathered themselves up behind and around the creature. It it let another snort this time accompanied by a pig like squeal. "Oh my!" she whimpered, reaching for her bag and stepping backwards which only caused her to back into another creature that looked the same, she was surrounded and so Kansuke would be too soon as the other few turned their attention to the opposite side of the tree. The ones that targeted Mizuki were now rushing towards her "Oh my gods!!" She shrieked as she tried to avoid them. Her voice loud enough to cause the birds in the huge tree to flee. She reached for the first thing in her bag. Which was a book. One of them managed to get close enough to make a swipe at her almost yanking her hair "You brutes!" She scolded as she began swinging the book at them, hitting full whack with it. It didn't seem to be hurting the creatures (It wasn't like she'd needed such lessons on dealing with these things before) but it was knocking them back a little, as freaked out as she was wasn't going to do nothing as they rushed at her.

Kansuke Alchaeon

Even deep amidst his personal training, Kansuke never really took his full attention off the surroundings around him. As such, he was aware of Mizuki watching him. He didn't really mind, he was used to the kids in his village watching him and other people his age as they grew old enough to hold swords. With this, he tried his best to keep his expression from slipping into the darkened thoughts that it was, though it seemed in vain as Mizuki still noticed his expressions anyways. He narrowed his eyes mid swing as he heard the blond girl get up and move to go elsewhere. This caused him to grit his teeth, not wanting to push away Mizuki in any sense. They were from the same homeland after all, something that Kansuke was sure that he would never see once he moved to go to school at FHS. And she was the princess on top of all of that, he didn't want to do anything to ruin any friendship they might have had. So to see her get up and walk away sent a slight tinge of worry? sadness? through the boy, though there wasn't really much he could do about it. The rain wasn't letting up so she was probably just finding a drier spot to sit. He couldn't really blame her after all, this was probably her first time travelling like this. As he thrust his sword forward at an invisible enemy, he made a mental note to stock up on camping gear at the next village they came across.

It was right as he finished a flurry combo of swings that he heard some noises coming from behind him. He stopped his movements before immediately whipping around to see what it was. There was nothing in his line of sight, but it was then that he heard something similar to Mizuki's voice. Now on high alert, Kansuke ran with slight reckless abandon to the other side of the tree, his eyes widening in shock to see ugly red creatures surrounding the princess. Before he knew what he was doing, he rushed in, slashing at the creature nearest to the blonde girl and sending it flying. "Mizuki!" he called, reaching her and simultaneously bringing his arm around her to put her close to his back. For some reason, seeing Mizuki in danger sent his emotions into a bit of overdrive. He was almost seeing red, going into overprotective mode for her sake. He took a moment to assess the enemies that were now recovered from seeing their friend get sent flying and were now charging at him. This moment was all he needed to center himself and launch at them again, thrusting at one and spin attacking the other. Kansuke made quick work of them while dodging their strikes, and before long their bodies were disappearing in a puff of nasty purple and black smoke. The hero took another moment to breathe and sheathe his sword (out of habit mainly), before rushing over to Mizuki and placing his hands on her arms as he looked her over with worry. "A-are you alright??"

Kaori Hana

It had been a while since Roman moved Kaori to his house. Originally he was visiting whenever he could, but as she became more visibly pregnant and less independent, it made more sense to move her to his house where both and Mal could keep an eye on her. It was nice to have another woman around who had been pregnant once to be able to help out and actually know what was going on. But also, living at Romans house made it easy for the two of them to be close. Stolen moments between the two when Mal and the kids weren’t around. Secret dates disguised as shopping trips. Feelings of love that had been buried for the longest time between the two blossoming, even if it wasn’t supposed to happen. But Kaori was happy. Even if her time with Roman was more than likely limited and forbidden, she didn’t care. But lately it was hard to get away with it anymore, with her due date growing closer and closer every day. San had confirmed it was twins, and with her almost childlike stature, it was more of a toll on her body than a normal pregnancy would be for someone. She mainly stayed at home now, usually with Mal on call since Roman also had been busy with work lately. That meant that at the time, Kaori had been relaxing in her room.

Generally the house was pretty quiet. Mal wasn’t the loudest person, and Misaki and Alejandro were off at school. But today there seemed to be quite a bit of racket. There was a lot of movement and talking, moreso than normal. She recognized one of the voices as Mal, but the other one she couldn’t quite place. The voices seemed to drift toward Mal and Romans room before quieting once more, meaning the door was closed. Kaori sat up off the bed at hearing this, wondering if Roman was home. But that didn’t make sense, she didn’t recognize the voice as Romans, so it couldn’t be him. Who else would it be then that Mal would allow in their room? Kaoris eyes widened in worried realization. What if something had happened to Roman? Even if she was very much pregnant, she was a doctor and could still help out if needed.

It took her a bit to get up, but eventually she had made her way to the door, having to take another moment to actually let her body adjust to being up. It didn’t move like it used to, but then again she didn’t use to carry two tiny humans inside her. San was big enough. Exiting the room, she entered the hallway, making her way toward Mal and Romans room. Mal was home at least, she heard that, so she’d be able to tell her what was going. “Hey Mal, what’s goin-“

Her voice was cut off as the door to their room opened, and she looked right at the person exiting the room. It felt as if the world froze as her eyes came across Masahi for the first time in a very long time. Kaori froze in place as well, her eyes staring wide up at him. Her head ran wild with too many emotions all at once; shock, anger, sadness, happiness, confusion.. pretty much every emotion that she associated with the man bloomed to the surface of her mind, leaving her unable to do anything but utter a single word.

“Masahi...”

Yuki followed Ansom, soon looking at the stack of menus and decided to take one. She followed him to the table near the back of the room and when they got there, she pulled up a chair and sat down. She then opened the menu and started to look through the list of foods they had. She examined the burgers and the salads before moving to the drinks. She looked up at Ansom and spoke softly. "Is there anything you recommend? There's a lot of stuff on the menu but I dunno what to pick."
Ansom shrugged his shoulders. "Well, for drinks, you can never go wrong with the strawberry lemonade. Or even a strawberry daiquiri if you're feeling alcohol." He tapped his chin as he thought, looking over the menu in his head. "I usually get simply the bacon cheeseburger but the chicken tortilla soup is really good." He explained and then nodded, eventually shrugging and leaning back on his chair with his arms crossed. "It's up to you." He spoke just as the waitress came over, holding her pen and notepad to ask for drinks. "Strawberry lemonade, please." He asked for himself and then motioned to his daughter.

--Thetis the Indignant Mother--

"I personally do not know how things are run where your "god" dwells, and I cannot bring myself to care. But I already raised my son. He left my care as a grown man, who took upon the title of "Woe of the People" to heart." She spoke biting back the venom and anger as much as she can. "Handle himself? Before he got his first facial hair, he has dispatched enemies of his fathers kindgom, before his voice changed, grown men were following him into battle. He doesn't need a father, he had one, and a fine one at that." she said, pausing to collect herself. "I highly doubt you understand how I feel. My son died over three thousand years ago. I laid his body on the funeral pyre, and lit the fire myself. I wept for a week straight. I cursed both the Greeks and Trojans and most of humanity. I lamented that the only son I bore died a death unfitting him." She continued. "I dipped my baby into the river, knowing the consequences. I made him nearly invulnerable just to survive his fate. Did it work? No." she resumed. "So what else am I supposed to do for him? Your "sister" has decided to put herself between my son and a really nice, but stubborn girl named Kanon. This era is a mystery to me, and how relationships work now has greatly changed from the time he was legitimately alive." She was nearing the end of her speech. "Back then, you had to court the girl andher parents in hopes they might let you hang out with her. Now all you have to do is call her. That doesn't work well when your trained that relationships are like epic quests. So for talking to my son, I can try, but what good am I when not even the men, angels, demons, gods, and what not around him cannot?" she finished and took another sip of her wine.

"He did say you were here, didn't he?"

Masahi's remark was all he could get out as he saw Kaori. At first, Masahi looked only at her face, and from it, he saw her emotions painted plain as day to see. However, outside of that, she seemed healthy, so his operation on her with the Zetsu cells was a success. Maybe it was a bad move, but at first, Masahi closed the door behind him before passing through it much like he had done with the front door. Now back in the room with Roman and Mal, he had taken a deep breath and exhaled. He saw something else, something he didn't want to believe. Kaori's stomach was round. But why? No, he knew why he just didn't want to accept it. As a curtsey, Masahi looked back to Mal and stammered out a few words.

"Sorry... but I think there's about to be some arguing..."

Opening the door again, Masahi looked, no, more of scanned Kaori with his eyes while his Tengen was still active. The energy flow he could see told him there were two lives growing within here. The three-tails was still there as well, and his eyes lingered upon where the seal would be, but it could be taken as Masahi simply staring at Kaori's bloated stomach. The implications of him having kids, of Kaori having the Zetsu cells within her while with child, of the fact that she just had to be in the Ishida household of all places, it all made his head swim. Even with nothing in his mouth, Masahi gulped.

"We need to talk. Since you're like that, there are things I have no choice but to tell you now."

As Masahi dictated that, He side-stepped and gestured Kaori into the room, where Roman was laying down as if he was simply asleep, with Mal sitting at his side.

"My God has nothing to do with this, so don't use his name in vain, nor speak ill of him." Han said, forgetting to call up Apollyon, he made his cellphone disappear and he found himself in what was almost an argument with this woman. As she went on about how much of a grown man he was, Han only found himself laughing. Grown man? Sure he seemed like a great fighter at a young age, and maybe even a leader of sorts, but someone who can't even bring themselves to get off their behind and go talk out their problems could use a hand from someone they could trust, and Apollyon and Han figured that Thetis would be that person, but it was turning out to be otherwise. "Look, you speak highly of your son, and I can say he has a ton of good feats for someone his age, considering he should be old bones, but he's obviously not able to fix this problem, even if it takes simply a phone call. Another thing, Kanon is MY sister. And the reason I won/t talk to him is because I've already kicked his ass to high Hell, not sure if he'd want to talk to me without assuming I've come to pick another fight with him, unless he's become fond of me. Now I've come and only asked one thing of you, not to be bickered at about it. So, if it means so little to you as of what's going on with your son, and won't help me, someone who actually cares about the relationship at risk here, then I guess this was a waste of my time. If it even crosses your mind once to help me talk to him, and try and get him to go see her sometime soon before it's too late, then meet me at the infirmary." Han said, as he turned back around to face Thetis. Even though things seemed a bit heated at the moment, he still managed a smile, and nodded his head to her, turning back around and making his way to the door. "Don't know what gave me the impressions all mothers were like you..." He mumbled under his breathe, thinking about his own mom as he neared the door.
