Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Makoto was surprised that the Ishidas are willing to try something she suggested like the energy shields. She was now interested in the drones and how they were modeled. Akane said that some were medics. How were they used? Maybe Makoto could use some of their drones. She began to wonder why the thrusters aren't complete yet. Sure, they need to be concealed but how complete were they? What was the progress to completion. Soon, Akane had told her about an idea. Makoto swore Akane was getting more and more interesting. "Huh? What kind of idea?" Makoto asked wondering what Akane had in mind.
Akane pointed at Makoto, "You. You become my apprentice. I could teach you the things I know. May even land you a high paying job here in the Ishida's business. Of course you'd start out as an intern, but once you're training is complete, I'll find you a job. It all depends on you though. From what I witnessed today, you have what it takes.." Akane told Makoto. Himeragi had a very interesting daughter, one with natural talent. "Makoto, think it over. If you do accept my offer, your training could start right away, but we'd be leaving your home. We'll be gone for months. Maybe even a year. I'm sure your mother would understand. She was a fighter herself after all." After she said that, Akane stopped walking and pointing towards the training grounds. It was a large area. There were a few members of the Ishida family there already. Akane then whistled to get their attention and they all came to a stop and looked in her direction, their gazes immediately shooting towards Makoto. "Excuse me, ma'am, but... Who is she?" One of them asked, obviously curious of Makoto's presence. "She's with me. Introduce yourself, Makoto. It'd make them less suspicious of you... With the whole chipping thing that happened a few months back, my family has sort of been on edge."

Elliot had scrolled through his phone for a while, even read a bit in the time he was sitting there but had eventually went back to just relaxing again like he had started off doing. It was then that he had spotted this 'other' Seria. He was used to seeing odd things since again, like his sister, he could see things for the dream realm and the real world at once...but he knew this was different than that. Or at least he felt it was. She furrowed his brows at the laughter, straighting his posture a little as looked around his eyes scanned the room "...Seria?" He called in a hushed tone, wondering what was going on.
Seria just continued to nap on Elliot's lap. She was just like a house cat, sleeping without a care in the world. Especially through all she had been through. For someone like her, she endured a bunch of stress over the years and decades. The other Seria didn't appear again ever since.

Once she heard Akane's proposal, she swore she felt her heart skip a couple more beats. She could work for the Ishidas? Even for high pay? But that's only if she is willing to train with Akane, away from home for long periods of time. It was almost as if she signing up to be part of the military. When they headed towards the training she was slightly surprised that Akane could get their attention so easily. When they all looked at her, she sort of hesitated before she heard Akane. She nodded in understanding about the civil war a while back. She remembered she was shot back then. She stood up right before speaking, then bowing her head near the ending of her introduction. She also. "I'm Makoto Seiker. Daughter of Himeragi Seiker who had served Roman Ishida as a maid before. I'm here because I have accepted Akane's training. I understand that you may still be cautious since the civil war, don't worry about me. I was actually shot back then, but I'm fine now. Nice to meet you all." Makoto had now accepted Akane's training. She already knew there was no going back, even though she would've liked it better at home. But something inside was aching for more power. For strength. And an expansion to her knowledge. This could be her future, and she was willing to become it. She looked up at Akane. She also wanted to see what Akane had in store for her if she were to be her apprentice.

He waited for a moment after calling her name, staring down at her to see if she would move or wake up, but again, she was just out for the count."Weird..." He mumbled quietly, taking one more look around. Maybe it was just something he saw? Sighing a little and shaking his head he went back to leaning back on the couch, trying to write off what he saw as just something from the other realm.

Akane had smiled as she listened to Makoto introduce herself to her family. She seemed to have introductions in check. Now since that was over, she put a finger on her chin and furrowed her brows, "Hmmm..." Akane hummed in thought. Her eyes were on Makoto now. "Since you're my apprentice now, I want to show you something. I have a workshop here on the estate. I use it to work on my personal armor. From today on, you have access to it. If you feel there's something you wanna make, but you wanna do it on your own, feel free to go there anytime. I'll let the guards know your name, you'd just have to tell them who you are and they'd let you in." She said, before taking a left, heading away from the training field. It'd be best to get Makoto outfitted for training. "Do you know what you're measurements are? Waist? Bust? You know all that good stuff. I'm going to make you a personalized suit to fit your style."

Soon, Seria began to wake up. She rose slowly as she did so, yawning. "Ahh~ How long was I out for?" Seria asked as she looked at Elliot. She still looked a bit drowsy but other than that, she looked fine. She was obviously clueless of the events that happened before.

Makoto was surprised yet again. Akane just continued to surprise and interest her more and more. She could use a workshop. Most of the time, she'd be making her stuff at the training room in the back of the house or at school. Now she can actually work somewhere that was made just for working. After Akane took a left, she followed her, keeping up with her beside her. When she was asked what her measurements were, her face turned slightly red. She knows it was for the suit, but it was sort of a too personal question for her, especially when they had met not too long ago. That and she doesn't know her measurements exactly. Most of the clothes she wore fit just perfectly. "I uhhh... I don't know my measurements. I may have forgotten them because it's been awhile since I actually measured myself properly..." Makoto said nervously, feeling embarrassed she doesn't know her own measurements.

Akane didn't seem in the slightest bit nervous. Being a warrior such as herself, her body was one of the many things she was proud of. Mainly because she was in shape, but for someone of he race, that was no problem. Akane looked at Makoto and nodded, "I see. Well, if you wish I could do it for you, or if you know how you could do it yourself." Akane said, before coming to a stop in front of a building that was apart of the estate. Akane then raised her hand and a scanner slowly exited the wall, and scanned Akane's hand. Soon the doors in front of them opened and Akane's workshop came into view along with many of her armors, and weapons. "Believe it or not, but I specialize in almost every weapon there is. A perk of endless training."

"I don't know how to do it so I'll leave my measurements in your care." She said, trying to not sound nervous anymore. When they got to the workshop, she was amazed about how to enter and how sophisticated it was. Once she looked inside, she was nearly amazed. When she heard Akane speak, she believe it was possible to have such a specialty in all weapons but she began to wonder how old Akane was. She decided not to ask as to not be rude in front of her. She looked around the workshop, looking at everything that was inside. "Y-You made all this?"

Akane nodded and walked towards her sword case. It wasn't just your average sword display. It was like one of those clothing racks in stores that spun around, but instead of clothes, it held swords. For someone who did nothing but fight and stuff, Akane was still pretty neat. She honestly hates being disorganized, and tends to back orders at people around the estate who left a mess behind. That included Roman. He may be the head of this family, but in her eyes he was still just an immature child that could use a hand or two when it came to certain things. When Makoto asked if Akane made all of the stuff in the workshop, she smiled, "Well, it is my workshop, so I believe so." She said jokingly. Akane walked over to where she stored her lighter armors. She tended to use those for assassin missions, or when she needed to be quick. She then looked to Makoto and motioned for her to come over. "I'm going to make you one of these outfits here. If you want something heavier like my battle armor, just say so, but from what I noticed you are more of a quick and precise fighter, that's why I went straight to my light armor." Akane walked over towards a screen that sat beside her light armor cabinet and started tapping it before stepping to the side a moment after. "This is what the light armor is mostly used for. Quick movements and precise attacks." The screen soon showed short clips of what the suit could do.

Makoto nodded before wondering if she could test them out? She wanted to see how quick they were but she couldn't probably learn to use them. She wanted to experience them first hand. "Alright, quick movements and precise attacks... But I may want to try fighting against it. I want to see how fast they are and how precise they are. It's not that I don't believe that this armor could do such a thing, I just want to test it against my own skill. I'll try not to damage it too and not hurt the person wearing it. I'll use paint for the shots." She said before looking at Akane, wondering if she would allow such a thing. She also wanted to see how much training most of the Ishidas have done. She also wanted to use a form she hasn't used in awhile. She then started to notice that the armor sort of had no armor plating anywhere. It just looked like cloth. Maybe she would actually like one of these suits. "Hmmm... I wonder if I can associate different armors on certain transformations..."

Akane turned to face Makoto, trying to get a good idea in her head on her measurements. It looked as if it'd fit, and if she had different transformations in mind, it may help even more. "I'll let you test it. And don't worry about damage. This is some pretty durable cloth. Tons of force is needed for a tear." As she finished speaking, Akane pressed the outfit's picture on the screen and the suit appeared in front of the two of them. "There's a changing room on the far side of the room. You can change in there." Akane said, handing Makoto the suit. "Ah, that's another thing. I have no doubt on your knowledge, so I'm pretty sure you know how different forms usually will benefit certain skills. Chances are, different armors will compliment those skills highly. Anyways, once you get changed, head back to the training area. I'll see if I can get one of the stronger out of the bunch to spar with you. I would fight you myself, but I want you to be ready for what I have planned for you in the future with me." She said as she left out of the workshop, taking out a cellphone and making a call as she did so.

She wasn't expecting to wear the suit as well but what the hell. She nodded before taking one of the suits and heading towards the changing room. It felt a bit weird to her but she sighed before changing her form and putting it on. She used her sniper form, it came with belt-thrusters and a musket. It also came with a couple variety of grenades. Once she got changed into it, she tied her hair into a bun in the back before heading out and meeting Akane. She kept the visor off because she wanted to use her own accuracy. She knew her accuracy for this form was on point. But she never tried it in fast maneuver fights. She then spoke, wondering if there were any rules to the fight. "Any rules I should know? Just so it won't be an unfair match."

While Makoto was changing, Akane was making a call. Unfortunately she wasn't able to get the person she wanted to, but she figured it was for the best. Since Makoto was going to be able to move quicker during this exercise, Akane decided to just have a bunch of people come at her at once. Hopefully she wouldn't get trampled. Upon hearing Makoto's voice, Akane put away her cellphone and smiled at her. "Hey. Welcome back, and nope. Simply no killing. Any injuries will be healed right up in the med bay. Now it's time for me to see how much you can actually handle before we depart. Can you keep on your feet when fighting numerous opponents at once." She said, pointing to a group of Ishidas standing by the field's fighting area. They were all lined up, a variety of weapons ready for their sparring session with Makoto. "Get in there, I'll watch and tell you how you did when you're done."

Makoto nodded before she started walking towards the fighting area. She soon got her musket and loaded it with a special bullet. It looked like a small vial that seemed to contain a pepper dust. It was almost like pepper spray. Once she it was locked and ready, Makoto broke into a sprint before jumping high and taking aim quickly. With this form, she could precise her accuracy with only her naked eye. It was as if everything slowed down for her but she could be able to keep up. She then fired the shot, aiming at one of the Ishida's heads before summoning an odd looking hand cannon which she then fired. It fired off more vials of pepper dust which exploded upon impact. The recoil did of course, send Makoto flying a few meters back but when she landed, she propelled herself forward into and began firing off two pistols rapidly which contained another kind of special bullet. This time, the bullets were again vials but filled with a light blue dust. Once they made impact, it seemed to create ice, trapping anything that was hit in ice.

He gave and unsure laugh at her answer, raising his hands "I mean. That's not what I meant, There's-" he stopped mid sentence as the disgusting looking mess was placed in front of him "Oh. Okay. Thank you." It smelt and looked deadly, he wondered how she didn't even notice in the slightest that this curry was really not okay. He looked from the curry bowl to Seiko a few times, his mind screaming at him to tell her he couldn't eat this...but she looked so proud of herself. Why did his conscience have to kick in now of all times. "I-Its uh...an interesting colour..." he said quietly with a nervous laugh. He couldn't bring himself to upset her after she went to all the trouble of preparing the food for him, even if then end result was inedible. He stared at the food for a while longer with furrowed brows...one bite wouldn't hurt, right? He wasn't human, he was hoping that this wouldn't do him too much trouble. He lifted a bite of the curry to his mouth, taking a breath before shoving it into his mouth before he could change his mind about doing this.

It tasted worse than he imagined it could have. He wasn't sure if it was all the spices, the unnamed unsafe looking potions or the literal poison that was in there that was the worst. His eyes were watering like crazy from the combination of all of them and he immediately wanted to spit the food out but she was looking straight at him with such a happy expression so managed to shake his head a little and swallow it, despite his stomach heaving and telling him off. His face had paled significantly after taking the mouthful of food and honestly, he was feeling rather faint. "It's...pretty good" he said with a weary smile that wasn't exactly convincing but he was trying.

Seiko watched with anticipation as he took the first bite. When he said it was pretty good, she was happy. "Really?!" She asked noticing his tears of joy. "I'll make you some more tomorrow then." She said swaying side to side excitedly. "I have an entire cauldron full and fortunately it's non perishable." She said happily. "Maybe I'll make you some Karaage chicken after this." She said looking through her cook book. Matsuko watched him from her bag with her usual doll smile though it may seem a bit wider than usual.

Ryft-MK80

It didn't escape Ryft's attention the way that Zero seemed to act when he said what he was. He couldn't really fault him though, it would be kind of strange to hear from someone that they were calling themselves a weapon and not a person. Even though in this case, it was the truth, it was a bit of a strange truth. Though it seemed like Zero seemed to have a positive view on his abilities based on the smile on his face, even going so far as to say that it was awesome. He couldn't help but look up at the man carrying him, a little happy to hear that. He figured that people would think it was kind of weird that he was a human but actually a weapon, but here he was, actually complimenting him on it. He listened as Zero explained what he was, and to his own surprise he said he was a god. Ryft was still new to the world, so hearing that his new friend was a god was quite a shock. So that meant he was immortal, right? Or something like that, based on the base data that his creators had given him for intelligence and understanding. "I see, that's very impressive." He remarked, still trying to wrap it around his head. The faltering smile also didn't escape Ryft's attention, though he wasn't about to ask about it. He didn't really understand the concept of family, but knew better than to just pry into personal things like that. He'd probably feel the same way if people asked about his personal life, except there wasn't much to tell there. He tried to keep up as Zero went on explaining more about his abilities, with the magic and the physical attributes, though it was a bit hard to understand. There was so much about the world that he was still learning, and his creators kind of just thrust him into the world by enrolling him at the highschool, so there was a lot of stuff that was still pretty new to him. But there was a bit of what Zero mentioned that did make sense, and that was how he had a particular affinity for weaponry. This piqued his interest, because anytime he met someone that used weaponry, his first instinct was to inquire about making a pact with him. It was kind of annoying, being programmed to be so hardwired for having a Wielder. As time went on and he adjusted to being human, it began to be easier to suppress the urge. "As a weapon, I'd say that's a pretty good power." he finally commented, trying to find the right words to say about it. He didn't want to come across as desperate or anything of the like, though his words were the honest truth. The more they talked, the more that Ryft was glad it was Zero that helped him out.
Zero smiled and glanced at him when Ryft said his powers were pretty good. He knew they weren't impressive and there were far more interesting people at the school. Looking up he was relieved to see the door to the nurse's office was open, opening the door would have been a hassle, and Zero would have been too stubborn to set Ryft down just to open it. He walked inside and carefully set Ryft down on one of the beds. He looked off towards the nurse's desk and sighed, "The nurse never seems to be here when you need her." Shaking his head, he pulled a chair up beside the bed and sat in it. He glanced over Ryft's body, making sure there wasn't any bleeding he hadn't noticed before. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, he leaned back in the chair. "Does it hurt?.... Well, of course it does, that was a dumb question."

After Scarlet landed, Logan hopped off of her back and stretched a bit, preparing for his training match with Scarlet. It was going to be an interesting one. She seemed a bit hesitant, which honestly confused him. He figured it was just because he randomly asked, so he didn't think much of it. and just continued to prepare for their match. "Hey? Lets try and keep our fight to a moderate length. Say 8-10 minutes? Don't want anyone going overboard." He said smiling happily.
Scarlet had also started stretching, the last thing she wanted was to have to stop the match because she got a cramp, that would be embarrassing. "Hmm?~" She was in the middle of one of those stretches that you just didn't want to stop, so her response sounded a bit like she was being strangled. She stopped and turned her head to look at him, "Yeah that sounds good, it's not like you'd last longer than that against me anyways." As she looked away, her mouth had formed a bit of a grin before she continued stretching.

Kenai watched as Asako immediately shifted her attention to the snack stand. He shook his head and laughed a little at her enthusiast exclamation for snacks. Sure they had just ate but he was well aware of Asako love for snacks and he still had room for snacks, he didn't bother having any ice cream with his food earlier after all. "Yeah. Feels weird going to the movies and not getting any. Go ahead and pick out what you want and I'll get it once I get our tickets" he said with a nod of his head. He then went to the ticket booth to get their tickets.

Ilaani laughed along with him "Yep. Sounds like a good idea to me." She said with a nod, she lifted her coffee "For now anyways" she said before falling silent a bit, finishing her coffee before speaking again "It seems like things haven't really changed much while I was away honestly. Not even the coffee." She joked as she glanced into the now empty cup before leaving it down on the table. "I guess it's kind of nice that it's like that. Makes it easier to call this place home" she said with a shrug and a small smile "You know. If that makes sense" she added after.

Asako immediately nodded and gave him a thumbs up before heading off into the direction of the snack bar. As much as she wanted to just run up to it she stayed at a walking pace, she was in her last year of high school after all, she should at least act a bit more mature... just a bit. Luckily, no one was in line so she went right up to the cashier. She ended up getting some candy, popcorn, and a drink. She also made sure to get snacks she knew Kenai liked, she wasn't going to be selfish about it. Watching as the cashier rang up the items she tilted her head a bit. Maybe she should try getting a job so she could pay Kenai back, she felt bad he seemed to pay for mostly everything.

Allen blinked at what she said before nodding. "I get what you're saying. Sometimes it's calming to see some things haven't changed over time. Change can be nice and everything, but sometimes you just want something to stay the way it is." He said. He finished off his drink not too long after Ilaani had, moving the cup a bit to the side. "I can at least assure you I haven't changed much, I might have grown a bit, but I'm as charming as ever."

Soon, Seria began to wake up. She rose slowly as she did so, yawning. "Ahh~ How long was I out for?" Seria asked as she looked at Elliot. She still looked a bit drowsy but other than that, she looked fine. She was obviously clueless of the events that happened before.
Elliot's gaze, which had been aimlessly pointed in the direction of the ceiling as he thought moved towards Seria as he noticed her stir then wake up. Looking over at her, he blinked first. He did think on mentioning the other Seria for a second at first but ended up deciding against it. She looked like she needed that rest and he didn't want to ruin it on her, so instead he smiled before answering "Morning." He said with a quiet laugh "You've been out a few hours I'd say... Did you sleep well?" He asked, tilting his head a little.

Despite feeling faint, his smile picked up a little at how happy Seiko looked about being told her food was good but it quickly dropped again when she said she would give him more tomorrow. He looked down at the bowl of curry and laughed a little nervously "...oh...sweet!" It was then that he felt the ingredients of the food really kicking in. Before passing out completely, he spotted matsuko smiling at him from the bag, his brows furrowing at the doll before he passed out completely, slumping on the chair.

"Mmm, yeah." She then got up from the couch and stretched. Once she finished, she looked at Elliot and smiled. "Thanks for everything. I'll be heading home now. Tell your sis I said bye~ Oh and if you guys wanna hang with me again, here's my number." She said before she got a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down her number. She then set it gently on Elliot's lap before she began walking to the door. "Thanks again. See ya later."

As Makoto prepared for her training session, the Ishidas did too. They all surrounded her in the training field, ready to attack from different angles and directions. They had to be as unpredictable as possible, but effective too. As soon as she moved the slightest bit, their attack began. One of them shot the first vial out of the air, keeping the projectile from making impact with one going directly for Makoto herself. When Makoto jumped, she was met in the air by at least 4 Ishidas. A few were hit by the vials and trying to deal with it. A few others were caught in what seemed to be ice, using their weapons to try and break free. One of the Ishidas seemed to be a bit more on the advanced side, able to dodge Makoto's shots. She ran towards her, weapon in hand, but instead attacking with her feet to throw her off. When she was close enough, she sent a barrage of kicks and swings of her weapon at Makoto. All of the attacks were almost perfect timed, and they lined up pretty well. If Makoto was to make a mistake, she could end up at the mercy of the young fighter.

Logan soon finished his stretches and looked towards, Scarlet. He raised a brow and chuckled, "Are you sure about that? I'm a pretty good fighter. I'll have you down in less than 3, you can bet on that." He said, raising his hand towards her and creating a small flame from the tips of his fingers. With a smile, and took off his scarf and vest, tossing them outside the ring of the fighting stage and he then took a fighting stance. "Ready whenever you are. If you last longer than 3 minutes, I'll make dinner for the night." Logan added, his tone of voice obviously being a cocky one. He was pretty sure he their little sparring match was going to go in his favor after all.

When Makoto was being attacked, she started jumping back so she could be out of range of the young fighter's barrage and it sort of made it all easier for her. Makoto then got out an automatic pistol in which she spun around in a 360 while shooting her gun. The gun's projectiles seemed to shoot around Makoto in all directions, the vials being electric. If it made contact, it would paralyze the victim only temporarily. She then figured that she was obviously out numbered. But thanks to the civil war, she was able to improvise during these kinds of situations. She then jumped in the air once again, and started using her waist-thrusters and in short bursts, they propelled her around in the air as she dropped EMP grenades and pepper-spray bombs. She dropped a dozen at a time so it would cover the entire field. After a good amount of grenades had been thrown, she began to throw sleep-shots using her rifle. She intended to finish this pretty soon. Though because of the Ishida's performance, she probably knew it wasn't going to end this easily.
