As Asako went ahead and picked out the snacks, Kenai went to the ticket booth to purchase their tickets. He honestly didn't mind paying for Asako's stuff nor did he expect to be paid back. He did it because he wanted to not because he had to as such. Asako still had a year of school left and didn't have a job whereas Kenai did, so he felt it made sense that he would cover things like this for now. After the cashier handed over their tickets Kenai grabbed them and made his way over to Asako at the snack stands, he was going to go ahead and pick out snacks for himself at first but spotted that Asako had already done so, even picking out his favourite snacks, seemed that she paid more attention to what he liked than he thought she did. He tilted his head a little before smiling and walking up to stand beside Asako at the till. Once the cashier finished scanning the items Kenai paid for them and lifted some of them so Asako wouldn't have to carry everything herself. Stepping back from the snack counter once they were finished Kenai pulled their tickets out of his pocket using his free hand and passed one to Asako "All set to go?" he asked as he handed it over to her.Asako immediately nodded and gave him a thumbs up before heading off into the direction of the snack bar. As much as she wanted to just run up to it she stayed at a walking pace, she was in her last year of high school, after all, she should at least act a bit more mature... just a bit. Luckily, no one was in line so she went right up to the cashier. She ended up getting some candy, popcorn, and a drink. She also made sure to get snacks she knew Kenai liked, she wasn't going to be selfish about it. Watching as the cashier rang up the items she tilted her head a bit. Maybe she should try getting a job so she could pay Kenai back, she felt bad he seemed to pay for mostly everything.

Allen blinked at what she said before nodding. "I get what you're saying. Sometimes it's calming to see some things haven't changed over time. Change can be nice and everything, but sometimes you just want something to stay the way it is." He said. He finished off his drink not too long after Ilaani had, moving the cup a bit to the side. "I can at least assure you I haven't changed much, I might have grown a bit, but I'm as charming as ever."
-------------------------------------------------------
Ilaani laughed out at his answer, it was definitely the type of answer she was expecting, so despite his joking, he wasn't exactly wrong about himself being pretty much the same, which was probably why there wasn't much awkwardness between them after not seeing each other after so long. For her either "Yeah, yeah. You're definitely just as charming as I remember" she joked along, rolling her eyes while giving an amused smile. "Me on the other hand. I'm not sure if I've changed or stayed mostly the same. I haven't grown at all that's for sure, I'm stuck this height for life I think" she joked with a small laugh and a shrug. She supposed she had changed somewhat, she felt she was a little happier within herself, after all, her health had picked up quite a bit since coming home since it wasn't as stressful so that had an impact on that. "Either way I'd like to think I haven't gotten like...the old lady kind of boring or something" she said shaking her head.
