Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Asako nodded in agreement, he had a point. Not to mention its where most couples went, she never understood why it was like that, maybe for some kind of privacy thing? Possibly. She glanced towards the back, there was, in fact, a group of boys tossing pieces of popcorn at each other and goofing off. She shook her head and looked where Kenai gestured towards. "Looks good to me~" With an easygoing nod, she guided them to the row, choosing the seats in the middle. She plopped down in one of the seats and set some of the snacks in the drink holder, leaving the rest on her lap. "And now, we relax!"

------------------

Allen just laughed and shook his head. Cinnamon wasn't bad, though he didn't exactly have candles or go around sniffing them at home, but his mom used to have them around the house. He had no doubt Ilaani would be a cool old lady, but her next statement caused him to tilt his head. He glanced at her arm as she poked it, was this something that bothered her? He knew what she meant, but thinking that Ilaani might dislike herself bothered Allen. He reached over and gently lifted up her arm, looking at it as if inspecting it. "Hmm?... Well, even so, you don't have to look like an old lady to be one. Your body might not age, but that doesn't mean you don't, even if it's only mentally." He offered her a warm smile
Kenai followed behide her as she made her way to their chosen seats, he had also noticed the group of boys throwing around popcorn as he passed, rolling his eyes a little, he couldn't say he didn't goof around sometimes when he was younger if he were honest. It was probably why his school grades were just 'ok' right up until his senior year. But he didn't want to listen to that and possibly get popcorn thrown in his direction while watching the movie. Nor did he want to sit where the couples were, since that would be kind of awkward. He sat down after Asako, putting the snacks he was holding onto his lap. With a raised brow he looked to Asako when she said about relaxing "Yeah, until the movie starts. Its supposed to be scary after all" he said with a laugh before the lights began dimming down for the movie to start.
((Do you want to skip through the movie? :0))

--------------------------

Ilaani blinked a few times when Allen had reached out and lifted her arm, she didn't flinch or move when he did so, but she did wonder what exactly he was doing as he examined it. She just stared at him as he spoke...Was he trying to cheer her up? The thought of never growing up while all her friends aged and got on with their lives did play on her mind a lot and she didn't like that thought at all. But she didn't think it was that apparent through her words. She looked from the hand holding her arm to the warm smile that she was being offered along with his words, which sounded a bit odd but she knew what he meant by them. After a moment, she smiled back softly "I guess you have a point..." she said with a nod.

What was remaining of Scarlet's slight hesitance towards fighting with Logan disappeared once he started running at her, instead she focused on his movements. Her eyes followed him as he jumped, using the sun to his advantage was a smart move, even if her eyes were better then the average person the sun was still bright. Noticing the fireballs headed towards her Scarlet immediately jumped back to avoid getting hit, only to once again hear him run towards her. Her gaze went straight back to him. Realizing he was going for a kick she brought her hands up to lessen the force of it, pushing back against his leg to create some distance before he went for another attack. Bringing her hands together she sent several spheres of light at Logan, as well as sending what looked like her running around the spheres to throw him off. The moment the spheres got close to him, the clone simply faded away and she swiftly ran forward, coming at him through the spheres of light and went to kick his legs out from under him.
Logan had grinned happily, Scarlet's reaction to his attack giving him confidence in her skill. As he slid back on his feet after being distanced from Scarlet, he stood tall and looked at her, before she hurled balls of light in his direction. As quick as he could, he began dodging them, but didn't see Scarlet coming, so when she went for the sweep kick, it landed, but he was fast enough to land on his feet by doing a handspring backwards. When he landed, he puffed up his cheeks, preparing one of his attacks. "Take this!" He shouted as he began to breathe fire at Scarlet. If that didn't work, he used his powers to propel himself towards her, readying his fist for a punch. This was the most fun he's had in a long time. Sure, he loved being with Scarlet. Every moment with her was a great one, but being with Scarlet and doing one of his favorite things that isn't eating, but fighting. And she posed a formidable opponent.

Makoto felt a bit embarrassed now that she realized she could've phrased it better. When she saw the girl from earlier, she waved back while giving a friendly smile. She then looked up at Akane when she spoke. She then began to wonder, how many residents were in this house alone? She decided it wasn't much of a useful question so she put it aside. She followed Akane inside before nodding. "Alright... It makes me feel slightly embarrassed I'm using most of your stuff... Thank you."
Akane chuckled and shrugged. "No need to thank me. I feel you'd do the same for me if I were in your situation, and you in mine." She said, as they reached the main entrance. AKane held the door for Makoto before walking in after her. "Welcome to my home. I have a grandson about your age, but he doesn't stay here at the time being, and granddaughter. My son isn't here and there's a high chance his wife is busy. I'd love to introduce you some day, pretty sure my family would love to meet you." She smiled and began walking to a flight of stairs. Akane stopped midway, and looked back at Makoto. "You coming up?"

Makoto listened to Akane, seemingly eager to meet the rest of the Ishidas. Himeragi didn't say much to her about them, only that she worked for one who goes by Roman Ishida. She wondered if Akane was this strong, how strong was Roman? She looked up seeing that Akane was on the flight of stairs. When she turned back to ask her if she was coming up, she quickly responded. "Ah, yes." She said before she began up the stairs. She began to wonder if any of them would ask her to spar with them. Makoto might find that she'd be defeated, considering their training and such. She then asked a question, concerning Akane's grandchildren. "Your grandson and granddaughter... How much training have they done?" Makoto was very curious. She also hoped she can make some good friends here as well. Thinking about friends, it's been awhile since she talked to Assana and Miyuki. Feeling so distant, she nervously asked Akane if she could write a letter to some of her friends. "Oh actually... Can I write a letter to my friends? I haven't seen them in awhile so, I feel like I should let them know where I was going so they won't forget me."

Akane smiled a little as she continued up there stairs once Makoto was behind her. She hadn't said anything, not until Makoto asked her a question at least, because she was humming a tune as they went. She then had to think about it. Her grandchildren's training, huh? "Well, my grandson, Alejandro is pretty good. He's pretty confident, and that may just be his weakness. My granddaughter trains a lot from what I hear. I haven't had the time to actually spar with them since they started going to school. But I take pride in saying they make for good fighters. This peace may just soften them up though, and that haunts me." She said, shaking her head. Peace had that affect on most warriors. They see no need for training when their life and families comes first once again. When Makoto asked can she write a letter to her friends, she nodded. "Yeah, I'll have the stuff for you when you get out of the shower. Would you like to do it the old fashioned way, or e-mail?"

"Let's do the old fashioned way. Besides, I think you'd need a pigeon bird to find them if they are in the forest. Mom told me about Roman that he had another wife, Snow. She had two daughters in which my mom cared for them before me. Assana and Miyuki are my friends." She looked up at Akane as she followed her. "You know about them, right?" She asked wondering if Akane knew who she was talking about. It's really been awhile, especially since school and recent beating up boys who cat called her. She agreed what peace does to warriors. But she can also disagree peace keeps your sanity in tact, and lets you still feel like you were a person and not a weapon. But perhaps warriors and weapons are different subjects. She just wanted to take that shower now...

Akane understood where Makoto was coming from. She had a sister back in Euphoria and a mother, who she both left behind. Her father most likely didn't or wouldn't even notice. He was a busy man after all. Her sister was probably looking for her, or at this point she's just assumed the worst. In a way it made Akane sort of sad. Knowing she left her people behind all those years ago. Her parents not knowing about her family, or never being able to meet their grandson. These were things she's never worried about, but being exposed to human ways of life for so long, it started rubbing off on her. She was more in tune with her emotions more than ever. "I know of them. Roman told me about what happened to his previous wife, and how when she died his kids left. He hasn't seen them since, and he doesn't think he ever will again, unless they return home. They were the only thing he had to remember Snow by. But he fights to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to his current family, which is one of the reasons we moved all the way out here." She said, her bangs covering her eyes. Akane slowly moved them, tucking them behind her ears, before coming to a stop in front of a door. "Here we are." She then unlocked the door, revealing her bedroom. "Bathroom is the first door on the right. Should be towels in the bathroom's cabinet."

Makoto nodded before she went inside the bathroom and began to take off her clothes. After that, she undid the tie in her hair before preparing a towel and laying it on a clean surface near the shower. When she stepped into the shower and turned it on, there were a lot of things she began to think about and memories being recalled. She remembered that she hadn't exactly seen her father in awhile, so she didn't have such a close relationship with him nor did she even see her grandfather. She also began to think about all the troubles she's caused in the past. All her faults and guilt, being washed away by the shower somehow. She had to mentally prepare herself for the journey and for that letter. She's grown up a lot in such a short period of time, she only wondered how much more will she grow? She'll just have to see but for now, she'll enjoy the warm water running along her body for just a while more...

Akane had went over to her desk, taking out a piece of paper and pencil, along with a pen for Makoto to have a choice. The bedroom was pretty big, sort of like a dorm kind of thing, but it was a room nonetheless. Once she got the things out for Makoto, she went into the kitchen, making a couple glasses of lemonade. This would be a good time to ask Makoto what she knew about Assana and Miyuki. The granddaughters that she couldn't get Roman to talk about... And the ones she may never meet. Maybe they'll be able to get to know one another more, and have a chat about some good times they had. In a way, it was the perfect teacher-student bonding time. Something they'll need if they were going to be travelling around Japan together on this journey. Akane then took the glasses of lemonade and a couple of coasters to sit the glasses on. Once she got back to the desk, she sat one of the glasses down on a coaster and made a sword appear, inspecting it was she drunk her lemonade and waited on Makoto's return.

When Makoto was finished, she dried her hair as much as she could before drying her body with the towel. She then wrapped the towel around her body and went into the bedroom Akane was in. She also forgot to mention what she would be wearing. "Um... Mrs. Ishida? I forgot to ask for a clean set of clothes, what should I wear?" She said before seeing the glasses of lemonade and walked over to claim one for herself. She didn't exactly make eye contact with Akane because she was embarrassed to be naked under the towel wrap she was wearing in front of her... Teacher or Master, Boss? This brought her to her next question. "And how should I address you as...?"

As Akane inspected her sword, she noticed something that was a bit off, so she sat it down on the bed, looking it over some more to see if she could find any more flaws within the design. Just as she was about to grab the blade again, Makoto entered the room, wearing nothing but her towel. She looked over in her direction, raising a brow, "Common problem, don't worry. You can borrow some of mine." Akane said, walking over to her closet, opening the large doors that led into it. "And please, call me Akane. You're more a friend than student, I consider you one at least." She said with a smile. "Now get. Find yourself something to wear. Don't wanna be in that towel longer than you have to do you? Not like you're trying to impress someone, I hope." She said, joking about her current situation. "Not saying you can't. Pretty sure guys would like what they see."

Makoto shook her head slightly before she went to the closet as she spoke. "I think I'll not to ruin my impression, even when I took on a group at once. I am an Intoner, but I'm not a slut. That's what some of the boys thought of me at school." She then examined the clothes in which she can probably fight in. Or what looked comfortable. In the end, it was a pair of short shorts and a shirt. She also got a zip-up crop-top jacket. She then got a pair of socks as well before walking out of the closet. "I'm surprised this fits me... Hopefully I don't ruin any of it." She said before walking over to her desk and taking the other glass of lemonade and took a sip. After she finished, she put it back on the coaster and got a hair tie to tie her hair up into a tail. She then moved her bangs off to one side of her face so it wasn't in her eyes.

Akane made the sword disppear, taking a sip of her lemonade as she listened to Makoto. An Intoner, huh? She's never exactly heard that term. She assumed that's what Himeragi was too. Akane then grabbed a chair and pulled it up to the desk, placing her lemonade on the coaster. "What can you tell me about, Intoners? I never heard of them until now, believe it or not. Roman's never mentioned them and well, I don't exactly ask around." She said, truly curious about her student's origins. It may give her ideas on how to train her, and help her use her powers in different ways.

Makoto went over to the bed and sat on the edge of it and began to say what the main points of the Intoner. "Well... From what I hear, we were beings who were here long ago. We used to be worshiped as Goddesses, but the humans turned on us and murdered us. I dunno how we managed to survive since I never asked about it yet, all I know that Time and Space powers were involved. We cannot be killed by mere gunshots, wounds or bleeding. We can only be killed by a dragon physically. Our main power is our songs but my songs are usually silent. Summoning weapons of modern and even, advanced human warfare is the only thing I'm good at. And some glyphs that my mom taught me. Though, we have high sex drives which is why some students think I'm a slut. There's a lot more but I think that's the whole gist." She then looked up at Akane. "And I'm wondering what you are."

Akane smiled as she listened. It was actually pretty interesting to hear about the history of Intoners. Even if it was pretty brief. Maybe she could go ask Himeragi herself, surely she'd know. When Makoto mentioned how she was wondering what Akane was, she blinked, taking a sip of her lemonade. She couldn't tell her that she was a Sanctum. At least she didn't want to, mainly because not many mortals knew of their existence and she didn't to risk anything by telling Makoto... So maybe sometime in the future, but at the very moment... No. "I'm actually just a human... I've been around for a long time though. My body is everlasting. Much like a curse. I'm immortal, and throughout history I was able to train my physical body, and powers to a point where they are... Almost unmatched." She said. In truth, Akane's abilities aren't able to be matched by anyone other than another Sanctum, but not even a Sanctum has shown such true mastery over Akane's abilities. "Surprising isn't it?"

I never seen much of father, nor have I ever seen grandfather. So um... I guess I'll start writing that letter?" Makoto asked as she stood next to the desk. Her blush had faded away because of the clothing and the thought of what an Intoner was. She then took another sip of the lemonade and put it down before stretching a little bit.

Akane almost let out an over exaggerated sigh, but kept herself from doing it. She was just relieved that Makoto believed her, especially since it was something she had to come up with on the spot. Unfortunately she felt bad because she lied to her, but in due time she may be able to tell her the truth. As she listened to Makoto talk about her father, and how she hasn't seen him much, she smiled a bit, "Hey, you're not the only one. My dad was the same. Caught up in his work all the time, but when I got the chance to ask him, he said it was because his work gave him the opportunity to protect what he cherished most: his family. I'm pretty sure your dad is the same." She said, her smile remaining as she moved over for Makoto to have some room as she wrote the letter to her friends. "So... What all do you know about Assana and Miyuki? Roman doesn't like talking about them... He said it still pains him to this day that they left without a word... And most of all that he hasn't been able to find them."

Makoto picked up the pencil and began writing. As she wrote, she answered Akane's questions. "Assana and Miyuki... Assana has the ability to manipulate water while Miyuki can manipulate fire. Assana was the sensitive one while Miyuki was more direct and tomboyish. She was the one to take care of her sister most. Hm, that's about the gist about them. They're really kind. I would assume Assana would get shy around strangers while Miyuki could handle it quite easily. Like meeting a new friend." As Makoto finished speaking, she was already finished with her letter. It was saying a greeting after so long and that she'd be off in training for a while and wanted to know how they were doing. And was Snow doing. She smiled before she signed her name and put down the pencil. "I wonder how much they've grown..."

Akane smiled a little, imagining what the two would be doing at the very moment. Around their family. Their father. Sighing lightly, she looked towards the paper, picking up her glass and taking another sip as she watched Makoto write the letter. Once she finished, she looked at Makoto and nodded in agreement, "So do I. Maybe they'll come home one day. We can only hope for the best if we want some sort of peace of mind too." Akane said as she stood up, and picked up her glass and coaster, taking the last sip of her lemonade before it was gone. The ice cubes remaining. "We can rest up here for the day, but first thing tomorrow, we'll be leaving. Anything you wanna do or talk about?"

"Well... I'd ask if you are really human or a being in hiding. That's what my father is because I was told his kind cannot make such an appearance here on Earth, since it has to be secret. Instead, I'll just ask what's your favorite drink?" She asked as she looked up. She was gonna ask if Akane was a Sanctum since her mother told her about it and said she would have to keep it a secret. Makoto had her suspicions when Akane said she was human, but not to an alarming level. Still, she had to keep any mention about Sanctums a secret and keeping to her word with Himeragi. So instead of asking her if she was a Sanctum, she was just gonna ask something trivial.

Akane chuckled a little, though when she turned away from Makoto, she panicked slightly. She had began to wonder if she had found her out, but then she figured that it would be impossible. Akane hasn't done anything out of the normal yet, and didn't plan to. She was going to limit herself, keeping her power to a god level at most unless she was to fight something from her world, which should be impossible. "Of course I'm human. And my favorite drink? Well, pretty much any hard liquor. I can be quite the drinker at times, but since I'm gonna be training, getting drunk is gonna have to be crossed off my to-do list." She said, smiling happily. She found a great fondness towards human alcohol beverages, but that's only since she's been back. At first she didn't really drink, but it caught her eye this time around.

Makoto nodded. She guessed that Akane is telling the truth about her being human. Though she wouldn't be surprised if she was being lied to the entire to. She leaned on the desk suggesting they would do something. "I have a sudden urge but we don't have to. Can I meet the rest of the family members? I'm just out of ideas what we should do." She asked she looked at Akane, seeming eager to meet the rest of the Ishidas. She figured if she were to work for the family, she might as well meet the rest of the family.

Akane raises a brow, sighing quietly she shrugs it off and nods, "If you want to. We have some interesting characters around these parts." She said, saying the last part in a southern accent as a joke. She walked towards the door, opening it and when she did, she saw someone walking pass. She then figured it was some people around who weren't up to anything and smiled, turning to face Makoto, "C'mon. Lets head to the garden. Pretty sure there's a ton of people out there. It's a really relaxing place to hangout after a mission or something, or even just a long day. Follow me." Akane said as she walked out of the room. "Might catch a few looks with that outfit on though."

After a long day of training yesterday, Satoshi found himself crashing pretty early. Ever since his dad decided to pass on Kurama to him, he's been having to train almost non-stop, and it unfortunately ruined his sleep schedule. The same went for Hayate. After the two of them trained for hours on end, Hayate wouldn't even eat dinner, he'd just go straight to his and Thana's bedroom and pass out almost instantly. The next day rolled along, and Satoshi was in his room hugging his pillow, snoring as loud as he could. He was enjoying his sleep nonetheless. Going back to Hayate, he somehow managed to wake up at a reasonable time, but he didn't move. He just laid there in bed, looking towards the window. "Another day of training. I haven't even had time to spend with Aya and Thana. They're probably mad at us." He said, a small version of Kurama appearing on the floor beside the bed. "I wouldn't blame them. They're your family after all. But I do understand your reasoning." Kurama said, smiling a little before going to the window to relax. Hayate moved his arm to put it around Thana, but she wasn't there. "Hmph... She must've woke up early." He said, smiling a bit. He then closed his eyes for a bit, and rested. He wasn't sleep, but just relaxing with Kurama at this point.

Makoto blushed slightly when she heard the last part. Catching a few looks? Well, it might be just because she wasn't an Ishida and she was hanging around Akane. She thought of it as that and not the attractive way. "Well... Yeah if I'm hanging around you and wearing your clothes. Of course I would get some looks because there'd be questions, right...?" She asked as she began to follow Akane, walking beside her. She just wondered how the garden looked like. She's never seen an actual garden before...
