Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Elliot blinked "Really? I mean I feel like I would still recognise you if I saw you again but with different hair and tattoos...or maybe." He shrugged his shoulders, stopping when she had laid back down on his lap. He stared down at her for a bit but didn't freeze or flinch like he had done previously. "So... Administrator of time and space sounds...tough. what exactly does she do?" He asked curiously, not understanding exactly what that entailed.
"Really she keeps other dimensions in line and makes sure they don't clash into each other." She stated. "Or that's what she said they do. For her, she just manages another dimension and using her adiminstrative powers at a minimum. She's too lazy to do a lot of the work anyway so she just checks in every now and then."

...⚶Caelum wasted no time in responding to his servant and nodded at Lyanna, his smile soon vanishing with his presence in the room. He quickly made his way down the hall, passing the numerous family portraits on the walls. On occasion, he'd stop and take a look, thinking back to times where Lumina had a peaceful incarnation. While they were far and few in between, he always made sure to savour those moments. While he did put up the facade of authority and a collected mind, he often found himself reminiscing of his whole family, and wondering how Luminaire was doing, not that he'd ever admit it to anyone, not even his wife. Even when they are alone, they seemed to maintain the hidden emotions, just in case someone was watching. It had only been a handful of times Caelum had actually smiled, and that was in the comforts of his bed, or when he was alone with his adolescent children. As Luminaire and Lux grew older, he began smiling less and less, not out of spite, but out of necessity. If a king appeared soft, there would soon be a rebellion, as the Human history has shown throughout the centuries. Children also become a weakness, and if he showed favouritism to his children, his enemies would be able to exploit their relationship and threaten his children. That was something he wished to be spared from, so he acted cold and distant to his family in the presence of company, so that there would be no weakness showed. He soon ended up at the throne room's doors, and with a slight amount of pressure, he walked inside, closing the doors behind him and his wife and locking them. He ignited the numerous candles around the throne room and stepped into the light. The next few moments were crucial, so he had to drop his facade in hopes of his gentle demeanour not triggering Lumina's destructive tendencies. Stepping around the large stone pillars that decorated the throne room, he spoke out to his daughter with another of his rare smiles on his face, ever so slowly making his way to Luminaire⚶...

You used to play here with your brother as a child, you know. For hours on end, you'd make small balls of fire and use them to play catch. Your mother always used to be afraid of you hurting yourselves, but truth-be-told, I always found it a bit unusual, considering you were never able to create them when in the classroom. I suppose it has been quite a while since you were last here, hasn't it, Luminaire?

Not much time had passed between when Lumina had accidentally teleported from her room to the throne room, and Lumina barely had enough time to try and wrack her brain to find out why everything was so familiar before she heard a nearby door open. Looking up, her eyes fell on two figures that seemed to be popping up in her head ever since she arrived here. Her bright blue eyes fell upon the couple, unable to really do much other than just stare at the familiar strangers, as if they would hold the answers that she seeked. Because of this strange familiarity, she didn't shy away from them like she normally would from people she hadn't met before. Lyanna noticed this, wanting nothing more than to just run over and hug their daughter, who obviously looked distressed. But instead Caelum took the lead, leaving the white-haired phoenix to stand back and see what her husband would do. She noticed the gentleness of his voice, realizing just what it was that he was trying to do. Showing their daughter his true self, a self he only reserved for people like Luminaire. Lumina could only stare at Caelum as his words seemed to resonate with her very being, and suddenly everything made sense. This man that was talking to her, the king of the Phoenixes, Caelum Phoseroth, was her father. Lyanna Phoseroth was her mother. Luxe Scarlet was her adopted brother. This was her home, that during her calm reincarnations she had grown up in. She wasn't like the other phoenixes, and her reincarnations were all messed up, so she was given to Ayen to see if he could help, to which a shard was placed within her soul. She had killed many people, and terrorized just as many, being locked away for everyone's safety. She had actually lived quite a number of lives, more than most phoenixes ever would. She was Luminaire Phoseroth, the broken phoenix. And she was finally whole, and she was home. As the realizations set in and her memory finally fixed itself for the final time, her body changed. Her blonde hair gained ringlets at the end of the tresses, lightening up a shade. Her frame shrunk a bit, making her shorter and thinner than the form she was used to. It was the form Lumina was in when the photographs in hanging in the hallway were taken. The appearance from the lifetime where they were actually a whole family.

"Father..." she spoke, the words falling off her tounge for the first time in many many years. Her eyes fell on Lyanna in the corner, who was holding back tears as she watched her husband and daughter reunite. "Mother..."

Now that her memories were fully restored, Lumina was able to realize what had happened to her throughout the years. She was able to access her memories in great detail from every single life she had lived, all the good and all the bad. All the reincarnations that caused her family and people nothing but trouble and harm from all the destruction she would cause. All the lives where she was nothing but harmless and yet she was locked away in an icy prison cell. Even the more normal lives where she did have some freedom, but it was limited. Overcome with emotion, tears formed in her eyes and she couldn't help but bow her head in apology, the tears slipping down her cheeks. "I beg your forgiveness for all the trouble I have caused you both over all of my lives. I am sorry that the king's daughter was such a broken phoenix." She did feel genuinely sorry, hating the things that she had done, even if it wasn't her fault. Seeing this, Lyanna was unable to hold back her own tears, finding her own cheeks wet with them as well from the scene. Their Luminaire was back, fixed to who she was supposed to be after all these years. Of course she would forgive her, how could she blame her child for something that wasn't her fault? Lyanna looked to Caelum, steeling herself to let him handle this.

Ayen

Ayen figured he should be able to see his house in a minute or so of going uphill at this point. After the human's governments going crazy, which given the race's history isn't a surprise at all, he decided to alter the terrain a bit so he'd have a bit more of a warning next time. The end result is a natural-seeming dry moat that, while repetitive for him and the kids, made it so none of the humans' machines could easily get to his house via land. Though it wasn't really necessary these days, Ayen was too lazy or stubborn most days to do anything about it, instead usually opting to just fly over. As such, as they got to the top of the incline, Ayen waited for Celaena before offering his hand. "Well, that's just something we'll have to look into another day. In the meantime, take my hand, unless you like sliding and climbing that is." Though Ayen was focusing on Celaena and carrying Kenji, the copious amount of beauty nature offered at dusk was not lost to him. Indeed, from here you could see the sunset reflect off the lake his house neighbored, though, from the looks of things, his children weren't home as off yet, not that it bothered Ayen. Len was capable, and Lily stuck close to Len. Ayen had made the wooden structure bigger since Len decided to start school, thinking of the chance his son would bring home friends to study. hang out or even stay the night. More people needed more room after all. Not to mention Ayen wouldn't miss a chance to make more treasure storage. "Well, it can grow on you after awhile," Ayen said looking at his house, briefly thinking of all the times he had to put his vagabond lifestyle on hold for children, "I personally preferred it to the world you would have died in." A tad bit of playfulness sneaked its way into his smile as Celaena brought up the fact that he was being with the unconscious Kenji. "This? Please, a child could pull this off, it's nothing special. So, want to go see my not-so-humble abode?"

Celaena

The sun had all but set, and the night air was starting to gain a bit off a chill to it. The walk seemed to take the edge off a bit, though not by much, and she was glad that there was some kind of indication that they were nearing their destination. Celaena was well-attuned to nature herself obviously, so she could tell when nature had been messed with or manipulated, and it seemed that her senses were not entirely dulled her on earth either. So as they approached the moat, she had a feeling that this was the area in which Ayen had made his home, as evidenced by her sensing his terraforming. It also helped that she could feel his energy imbued in the area, feeling it a bit stronger with every step she took. As they reached the top, she noticed Ayen's invitation of his hand, smiling as she extended her own in response. "Right. I am not the one we should be concerned about at the moment anyways. Thank you, I would appreciate not falling at this moment." The dusk's beauty did not escape Celaena either, noting how her hair really stood out against the dark setting around them. She hadn't even noticed the lake until they reached the top, marvelling at how pristine and beautiful it was being flanked by the remaining bits of sunlight. The fae had no idea of Ayen's children, not even really thinking about why his house was built the way it was. Giving it another look, she did notice it's size, but figured that living large was how Ayen just liked to live. He was fan of living comfortably, after all. "I can see that," she teased, playfully squeezing the hand he had offered. It felt nice being reunited with Ayen, it was almost as if they had never been separated at all. "I also have a preference for that world as well, though it seems you have brought a bit of home here with you." She responded, referring to how similar the designs of Ayen's created abode was to the way that homes back in Fae were made. Not that she minded, it was nice to see something even remotely close to resembling anything from Fae. "Child's play for you, perhaps. I do not think I would be able to carry him like you are right now." She laughed a bit, glancing back at the redhead on his shoulder, still trying to work out exactly what was going on with him.

...⚶Caelum continued to walk around the pillars as his daughter finally spoke. Indeed, she seemed normal, however there had been a few incarnations of Luminaire who was cunning enough to play innocent to escape her holding cell. That's how Pompeii happened. She was able to trick a guard into releasing her, during which she went on a rampage in burnt Pompeii to the ground. It took months of politics and rearrangements to make it seem like a volcanic eruption. He paid a man by the name of Pliny the Younger a hefty sum of gold to write a letter describing the scene. The only way word travelled back then were letters, so it was the most efficient way to convince the surrounding populace with an eye witness of the account. Luminaire was a powerful Phoenix in her own right, and if she was born normal, she'd have made a powerful war deterrent. But alas, that was not so, and his dangerous daughter was at the foot of his throne. Tilting his head to the side, he replied to Luminaire, his smile remaining ever present⚶...

There were so many years of memories that Lumina was now able to have access to. It made her realize why it was that she was considered broken. Every time she would reincarnate, she would completely lose her memories. She would become a completely different person every single time, with a different appearance and personality in everything. It was a gamble of which kind of life that she would live from the moment she would wake up from the ashes. Would she be a happy child? A cynical elder? A force set out for destruction? Caelum was right, it wasn’t exactly her fault that things happened they way they did. With her memory block between lives and messed up reincarnation cycle, there was no way that she could have done things on purpose. It was a relief to hear that but even still.. now that her memory was back, in crystal clear precision, she was also able to see just how he and her mother handled her different lives. It seemed like her mother had convinced Caelum to let her lead out a few of her more peaceful lives, but other times... the same memory as before, the one where she was crying and pleading with him as she was dragged out of the throne room, resurfaced again. This time it played out fully, and they ended up dragging her to a special-made prison cell. It was set at a below freezing temperature, one that phoenixes could handle due to their natural heat but one that would most definitely keep them incapacitated. It was meant to hold her dangerous incarnations if they could capture her alive, but apparently her father didn’t trust her during calmer lives, and would place her in there even when she wouldn’t hurt a fly. Or even hed order his men to just kill her and save them the trouble. Thinking back, this happened multiple times, and Lumina couldn’t help but wonder what kind of father he was to do something like that to his own daughter. And then her mother for letting it happen more often than not. She also noticed that he was keeping his distance from her, but there wasn’t much time to think on this, as he was beckoning her to stop her crying and come with him. Lumina wiped her eyes, sniffling to try and calm herself down. “Yes, father...” she responded, looking down as she did. It was hard to face them right now, from all the conflicting feelings she was having, but it seemed she didn’t really have much of a choice at the moment. She stood up, making her way over to the king, hesitantly bringing her gaze back up to meet his as she stopped in front of him.

He stared at her when she said she'd dress up as a clown for his birthday, blinking a few times before bursting into laughter. "Ah, sorry. Just the thought of you running around as a clown." He said as he rubbed his eye a little "I think you'd need a lot of clown make up to look convincingly scary" he said as they arrived at movie theater, going ahead and opening the door for Asako to go in first.

--------------

Ilaani tilted her head in response to his words "What? No, that was different. You aren't my boyfriend." She said shaking her head and smiling "And if that were the case, you weren't around because of family issues and stuff. Which is understandable in comparison" she said with a nod "Despite my failed attempts so far, I'm not giving up on dating, I just haven't met anyone I click with" she said with a shrug.
"pfft, please. I'd be scary. If anything, you wouldn't see me coming~" she said and laughed. Asako walked in when he let her in first, saying a small thank you. She gasped a bit as she saw the concession stand. "We should get snacks!" she squealed. Sure, they ate not too long ago, but c'mon, not eating snacks while watching a movie at the movie theatre nonetheless is like not praying while at church or something.

-----------------

Allen nodded in agreement, she was right after all. "Ah, I see. Well, there's no rush anyways. Let us enjoy the single life" he said and chuckled. Dating was never really a need for him. Maybe it was because he hadn't found someone he connected with that made him want to do things like hold hands and stuff, but as of now he never really experienced the desire for that. He tried dating before, but the girl was still in love with someone else, and it just didn't feel right to stay in a relationship like that.

Logan had started to play with powers a bit as they flew towards the arena. Creating a fireball in one hand and tossing it back forth to each hand. Just as Scarlet said she was from a completely different dimension, he smiled. "Guess not many dragons are. I'm from a different dimension also." He said, chuckling a bit. The idea of her being that dragon he saw those many years ago was only starting to be proven right with this newfound fact... Didn't mean the chances of her being fro the same dimension was high. There were millions upon millions of different realities out there. He wouldn't full deny it though, There was still a chance and he was content with finding out. "Hey! I see the arena! Land on that island right there!"
She would have been more surprised if Logan had said he was actually from here, not that it was unlikely, it'd just be surprised. Though like her he was from somewhere else. Hopefully where he was from wasn't as bad as her home, she'd never wish that place upon anyone. "We have that in common then" she said, and if she was in her human form she would have smiled. It did seem plausible that most dragons at the school were from dimensions other than this one. When Logan called out that he saw the arena, she did as he said and landed on the island. Once he was off of her back she went back into her human form. "It felt so nice to fly again! I should do that more often."

Ryft was actually quite impressed by Zero’s ability to so easily carry him. He wasn’t necessarily small by any means, though his stature and frame did leave him slightly shorter and thinner than the average boy his age, but his muscles were always super well defined within his lean body. Therefore, he did have a bit more weight to him than it would look, so he was even more surprised by Zero’s ease of carrying him. The strangeness of being carried waned the longer he was held, to the point where he wasn’t really thinking much on it. It just was a thing that was happening. Aside from all this, Zero was now asking what his powers were. Ah, that’s right. To enroll at the high school, you had to have some kind of power or ability. You weren’t allowed to attend otherwise. He remembered other people he had talked to asking him the same question. Without much hesitation, Ryft spoke. “I’m a weapon.” He looked at Zero before realizing he should probably clarify what that meant. “I mean that to say that I’m not human, or not originally. I was an experiment that happened when they decided to see if a gun could be turned into a human and given a conscious. It worked, and now I’m here. With that, I was given the ability to transform myself into any weapon in existence, even becoming weapons that haven’t existed before, or will exist in the future. I can transform any part of my body into a weapon if I so choose, though the effectiveness of that is extremely limited. Though, I can only completely transform into a weapon if I make a pact with someone and have them be my Wielder, where I am their personal weapon companion.” He finished speaking, looking at Zero with a neutral expression as if something like that was normal. “Oh, and I can do diagnostics checks on mysel, and my Wielder once the pact is made.” He added, before continuing. “What about yourself?”
Zero's head snapped down to look at Ryft, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. A weapon? What did that mean? He relaxed as Ryft went into better detail about it, realizing it wasn't anything to really worry about. So Ryft was the result of an experiment, interesting. The way Ryft described himself sounded pretty dang cool, he could turn into any kind of weapon, even one that didn't exist? Maybe it was just because Zero was a weapon guy, but that didn't make him any less cool to Zero. His eyebrows raised when he mentioned a pact. So that was how it worked, his ability relied on making a pact with someone. Zero smiled when he finished talked. "That sounds awesome, in my opinion" He stated. "As for me. I'm a God. More specifically a Dragon God. I'm not actually a dragon though, my powers and physical attributes are just similar to one, so that's where the dragon part comes from. Inherited the title from my dad." Zero's smile slightly faltered at the mention of his father, but kept it remained nonetheless. Zero still had a special place in his heart for his dad, but he hadn't been the best of people. "I can use elements pretty well, though fire is the one I'm skilled at, the others not so much. I'm still trying to get better with them though. Let's see... I'm freakishly strong and agile, I also have better reflexes than most people and better senses. Ah, and, it takes a little more effort for something like a knife or sword to cut my skin. My skin could be compared to dragon scales and how it protects the dragon, but not as well clearly, it's still skin. Also, when I use my magic, my appearance kinda changes to what I look like now. I've never understood why though, my father never really explained it to me. Anyways, anything else?.... Well I'm pretty good with a sword and gun, and I can even channel some of my magic into them if I focus hard enough." He said, nodding when he finished talking. "Honestly, my magic really isn't that great or unique, my skill rests more in my strength and weapon wielding if anything."

As they arrived at the door of Seiko's dorm, Levi was just about to say his farewells before being invited inside. He blinked a few times. She wanted to make him dinner? He waved his hands "Ah, no Seiko it's okay I-" he stopped and stared at her realising she had already rushed in and started "Oh. You're already cooking..." He said before laughing a little and walking in, closing the door "I guess I'll have some, since you're going to the trouble of preparing it and everything" he said with a nod and a smile. He walked over to the kitchen and watched her cook. Whatever it was. It didn't look or smell appetizing if he were honest but he wouldn't tell her that. He knew Seiko was trying her best to make him something, so he'd eat it anyways, regardless of the taste.

Seiko Yuubari

Seiko was blushing hard as she read the cookbook carefully on how to make curry ramen. She noticed that she dropped a spoon and picked it up standing up before hitting her head against the counter which caused an unfortunate set of events as all the salt in the salt shaker fell into her mix along with an entire bottle of Tabasco sauce and rat poison as she was oblivious. She groaned rubbing her head not noticing what had been placed in the mix as the bottles were on a shelf above her. She cleaned up the few bits that spilled and continued cooking as if nothing happened. "I'll be ready in a bit please sit down at the dining table." She smiled. The supposed curry mix was dark purple rather than brown but she didn't mind it as she thought she spilled some soy sauce in it

Ryft-MK80

It didn't escape Ryft's attention the way that Zero seemed to act when he said what he was. He couldn't really fault him though, it would be kind of strange to hear from someone that they were calling themselves a weapon and not a person. Even though in this case, it was the truth, it was a bit of a strange truth. Though it seemed like Zero seemed to have a positive view on his abilities based on the smile on his face, even going so far as to say that it was awesome. He couldn't help but look up at the man carrying him, a little happy to hear that. He figured that people would think it was kind of weird that he was a human but actually a weapon, but here he was, actually complimenting him on it. He listened as Zero explained what he was, and to his own surprise he said he was a god. Ryft was still new to the world, so hearing that his new friend was a god was quite a shock. So that meant he was immortal, right? Or something like that, based on the base data that his creators had given him for intelligence and understanding. "I see, that's very impressive." He remarked, still trying to wrap it around his head. The faltering smile also didn't escape Ryft's attention, though he wasn't about to ask about it. He didn't really understand the concept of family, but knew better than to just pry into personal things like that. He'd probably feel the same way if people asked about his personal life, except there wasn't much to tell there. He tried to keep up as Zero went on explaining more about his abilities, with the magic and the physical attributes, though it was a bit hard to understand. There was so much about the world that he was still learning, and his creators kind of just thrust him into the world by enrolling him at the highschool, so there was a lot of stuff that was still pretty new to him. But there was a bit of what Zero mentioned that did make sense, and that was how he had a particular affinity for weaponry. This piqued his interest, because anytime he met someone that used weaponry, his first instinct was to inquire about making a pact with him. It was kind of annoying, being programmed to be so hardwired for having a Wielder. As time went on and he adjusted to being human, it began to be easier to suppress the urge. "As a weapon, I'd say that's a pretty good power." he finally commented, trying to find the right words to say about it. He didn't want to come across as desperate or anything of the like, though his words were the honest truth. The more they talked, the more that Ryft was glad it was Zero that helped him out.

Kansuke did like when Mizuki smiled. Maybe it was because he was internally declaring himself her protector on this journey, even though they were taking the journey together. And being her protector meant making sure she was okay, on every front. So he would do what he could to make sure she was happy. "Don't ever feel bad about asking questions. I'm happy you feel comfortable asking me questions at all." he smiled back at her before looking out at the scenery before him. It really was pretty out here, and reminded him a bit of home, in a way. The view from his house couldn't be beat, in his opinion though, but it was good for what it was. He couldn't help but chuckle in surprise when she said she'd actually visited his hometown. "Hah, really? What would a princess ever visit there for? I mean, we're just a small village, nothing too special." It made him wonder if she really got to travel much of anywhere. His questions seemed to be answered when she admitted she wasn't really allowed to leave home. He frowned at that, looking over at her. That was sad to hear. Especially about how her father didn't believe her about the visions. "Well, thank the gods for your advisor then. Well, if it's any consolation, I'm glad you were able to come here. I'd love to meet that advisor of yours and personally thank her. If you hadn't have been able to come here, I wouldn't be able to help you now. And I will help you." Kansuke nodded, patting Mizuki's shoulder when she frowned about the possible state of their homeland. "I obviously don't have those visions you do, but no matter what we'll take it on together, alright? If there's the two of us, I'm sure we can handle anything that any threat might throw our way. I hope everything is alright too, but if it's not well.. that's why were heading there now, right? To stop it and help bring home back to where they should be." He brought his hand back, refocusing his attention ahead of him. If he thought too much on it, he was bound to get more than rattled about it. And if he was supposed to protect Mizuki, he couldn't afford for that to happen.

She nodded as he asked her if she had really been there, she couldn't remember what exactly she was there for, she was a child at the time after all, she assumed it was just passing through to get elsewhere or something, she wasn't sure. After voicing her nervous feelings about their home, she felt a hand patting her shoulder, blinking a few times first she turned her head to look at the source Kansuke, her shoulders which were previously tensed, began to relax as Kansuke spoke "I...Yes. You are right." She said taking a breath "Thank you. I shouldn't be getting lost in such thoughts, I know it won't help at all" she said with a nod her words almost seeming like she was reassuring herself with them too, she appreciated his attempt at making her feel better and while the worry would never fully go away at least her thoughts were a bit more collected. She looked back ahead of her as she continued to speak, her hand moving to rub the side of her arm "And I feel it would be a strangely quiet journey if neither of us asked questions. So I am glad you do not mind my questions" She admitted with a small laugh. "Likewise, I don't mind your questions, so feel free to ask me them, if you have any."

"I always like to try and impress people. It helps people get past the whole stigma that comes along with being the Anti-God." Ansom said with a small sigh as he twirled the pasta around his fork. He spoke but his eyes didn't leave the TV as he flipped through channel after channel. He flipped through cartoons, news channels, reality TV, adult movies, regular movies, talk shows, et cetera. Eventually, he stopped on a show about the weather. "I enjoy messing with the weather people." He smiled mischievously and glanced over at Elaena for a second.

"Since the radars are given in real time with a few second delay, I have a lot of fun." Anson took a bite of the food and then, as he chewed, he made a circling motion with his finger towards the air. After a few seconds, a large deep red area appeared on the map, somewhere north of their location. A storm. The weatherman so gasped a bit and attempted to explain the sudden occurrence of the thunderstorm. As he was talking, Ansom waved his hand in the opposite direction, causing the red to disappear completely in a few seconds. The weatherman stammered and then continued on with the normal broadcast. "It's more fun when you're me." Ansom laughed and took another bite.
Elaena looked away from the TV and towards Ansom as be explained why he was trying to impress her, frowning ever so slightly before he had began channel surfing. She had still been watching him when he glanced over at her wearing a mischievous smile. Blinking, she turned her attention to the TV with a curious expression as she watched the weather report, she kind of had a feeling where this was going. As the weather man started stumbling with his words and getting confused for a minute, Elaena couldn't help but giggle at it. "Oh my." she said as her giggles died down. "So I guess you are the cause when snow or storm happens at an odd time of year huh..." She said looking back at him "Some of the time at least." She added before taking another bite of her food and watching TV. Finishing that bite, she tilted her head a little as she spoke "And I do suppose Anti-God is a bit of an unfortunate title to have when trying to make friends...but don't feel as though you need to impress me because of it. I don't care about the title or anything like that, just be your normal self" she said with a shrug and a smile before going back to eating.

"Really she keeps other dimensions in line and makes sure they don't clash into each other." She stated. "Or that's what she said they do. For her, she just manages another dimension and using her adiminstrative powers at a minimum. She's too lazy to do a lot of the work anyway so she just checks in every now and then."
Elliot narrowed his eyes a little at her answer, didn't she just say that her work kept her busy? Yet now she says she's too lazy to do it? He didn't get it. Unless the work was just so busy that even when only doing half of it, it took up a good bit of time. "Wow. That's pretty cool and important..." He said with a nod "either way I hope your friend gets some free time so you two can catch up.

The supposed curry mix was dark purple rather than brown but she didn't mind it as she thought she spilled some soy sauce in it
Levi had moved to help her up if needed when she bumped her head but she was already back on her feet before he could. He just watched, completely speechless as he watched Seiko drop stuff in and continue cooking like nothing happened. 'She is really lucky I'm not human...' he thought to himself as he looked at the purple curry mix. He could handle all kinds because he wasn't human, so the poison would probably make him sick but not poison him. He nodded and sat at the dining table when she asked, only looking over to watch her cook. It was then that it dawned on him that she'd probably try to taste it...and she was human... His eyes immediately widened "Uh. Seiko? About your food
..." He started as he looked over at her. "Some stuff...fell in I think..." He said trying to hint her to check it.. hopefully.

So I am glad you do not mind my questions" She admitted with a small laugh. "Likewise, I don't mind your questions, so feel free to ask me them, if you have any."
Seeing Mizuki relax put a smile on Kansuke's face. This trip, which he figured would be full of more dangers and bad things than he would have liked, was already going to be stressful enough. Stressing over things when times were nice wouldn't do them any good, so it was probably best to keep their spirits up as long as they could. Kansuke nodded, glancing over at Mizuki for a moment before returning his gaze forward. "That's the spirit!" He couldn't help but wonder if he was coming off as too optimistic. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't worried, so maybe this was just an attempt to cover up own feelings about the situation. If that was the case, that wasn't fair to Mizuki. Though he didn't have much time to think on that as she was commenting on how she was glad he didn't mind her questions. The last thing that he wanted was for it to be an awkward trip, so he wanted to reduce the barriers between them as much as he could. "I agree. If we're going to be travelling together, we should be able to talk to each other... like friends do." He smiled a bit to himself at the word. Friends. Growing up as an orphan he didn't really have too many friends, though he supposed he didn't really mind it all that much. So to be able to call Mizuki a friend was kind of nice. "I-I don't mean to come off so forward by already calling us friends," Kansuke added, almost a little too quickly. There was the tiniest hint of a blush on his face, feeling a little insecure that he might be stepping out of line with the princess.

He said with a nod "either way I hope your friend gets some free time so you two can catch up.
"Hmm... I think I'm making excuses. I feel tired right now~" She said before she giggled a bit. True she just got her new powers, but all that happening in her head was a bit tiring. Especially since they went through every aspect of her past. The memories she now hold, she thinks she needs time to organize her thoughts.

At this point for the redhead, it was a bit hard to stay awake. Blue was being extra gentle and careful with her, and he was strong enough to keep her held up and comfortable while walking back to her dorm. She wanted to stay awake, because she had a feeling she'd fall into some nasty nightmares if she didn't. And she didn't want to have to worry Blue with her overactive imagination. Her eyes fluttered open as she heard some other female students gossipping around them, her brows furrowing at hearing them. If she wasn’t so exhausted from the fight and from breaking down in the forest, she would have totally told them off, but there was no way that was happening. Instead she just buried her face into Blue’s shirt, focusing on his scent instead. Despite the fighting, he seemed to still have a crisp, almost minty scent to him. She liked it, and helped her tune out the other dumb girls. She was impressed when Alejandro was able to open the door and get inside without having to set her down, which only happened once they were inside.

Being set down and being out of Blues arms did wake her up a bit. She used the time that he spent going and locking the door to run her eyes a bit and get acclimated to being back home. Glancing around she noticed that Hyou wasn’t around, though Skylars door was closed so maybe they were in there together. She wasn’t about to ask. It was then that Blue came over and knelt next to her, saying that he was going to crash in the living room. Hearing that, Astrid’s eyes widened and she shook her head, using her free hand and placing it on top of the one he placed on her. “N-no!” she blurt out way faster than she would have liked. Hearing herself say it like that, an embarrassed flush found her cheeks, and she glanced away for a moment. “I-I mean... I-I thought you were going to stay with me...” Her eyes moved up to meet Alejandro’s once more. “I don’t really want to sleep alone..” Her now-slightly-blushing expression showed the vulnerability she was finally allowing herself to have. A vulnerability that he had brought out of her. It was scary and Astrid hated it, but because it was for him of all people, she didn’t seem to mind. Maybe it was because he was finally opening up to her as well, that she just couldn’t help but do the same.

As Alejandro looked at Astrid, the last thing he had expected her to say was that. His cheeks turned a light tint of red and his eyes widened a bit. He slowly opened his mouth, his voice becoming soft, and he seemed a bit timid, almost.. embarrassed. "I see. Well, if that's what you want, then I wouldn't mind it. Besides, the closer we are to one another, the safer we'd be... And comfortable." Alejandro had ended up saying the last two words really quietly. Ever since things calmed down, and the two were able to take it easy again, He couldn't get over this feeling of uneasiness. The idea of something happening to one of the two of them again embraced his mind. It lingered and wouldn't go away, and just having Astrid close by gave him ease. Because he knew if something was to happen, she'd have his back and he'd have her's. What was more important at the moment was that they got their much needed rest. After all that with Perfect, Alejandro could feel his own body being strained, and in all honesty, his body was aching. "I'll carry you to bed... You just try and regain your strength." He told her, standing up from his knee. His legs were a bit shaky due to the slight pain he felt from over exerting himself in his fight with Perfect. It wasn't too noticeable, unless you were paying strict attention. Alejandro picked Astrid up from the chair and carried her towards her bedroom. Once he got in there, he set her down on the bed, and went to take off his jacket. Now that they were in there, he just simply sat down on the bed. He kicked his shoes off, and left them beside the bed. "Wish I had my pajamas or something." Alejandro said, smiling a bit.

VIOLETTA

The school day had been pretty uneventful. Serving as a security guard for the school, one of Violetta's jobs was to also make sure that the kids weren't getting in trouble and staying in line and in class like they should. There were a few delinquents that Apollyon seemed to handle fine, so it was a pretty easy enough day for her. All that the goddess really wanted, however, was to go home to her boyfriend and her children. She knew that her goddess of time genes meant that they would grow up quicker than normal human children did, so she wanted to be around for as much as possible during their childhood years. She didn't really have a childhood, since she just came into existence all of a sudden. She didn't even really have a body at first, but then soon one materialized and there she was. There was so much about growing up and childhood that she had seen at a distance throughout the many eons of time that were always going through her head all at once, but actually experiencing it firsthand with children of her own was even better. She smiled as she floated home, wondering what Kai had been up to all day. She hadn't exactly told him that she had gotten a job as a security guard at the school, only that she had gotten a job and would be gone for most of the day. She also hadn't told him that she had reactivated her goddess/time powers to do so. They had agreed to stay human for a while, but the job kind of required more than just what her human form was capable of. It wasn't a big deal if she just kept to using her powers while on the job right? That seemed to be fine, as she would still be human around him and the kids. That way she wasn't technically breaking their agreement, right? She was lost in thought about that as well as enjoying the float home so much that she had made it inside without thinking, completely forgetting to turn back to human before entering the house.

"Honey! I'm ho-" she started, realizing that she walked into the kitchen where Kai was. It was only then that she realized, standing in front of her boyfriend to whom she promised to stay human for a while for, that she was greeting him as a fully restored goddess of time, with a form that he hadn't even seen before. She recoiled a bit, completely forgetting in the moment that she could just rewind time to before she entered the house and change back into a human. "H-hi... Honey..." she nervously smiled, pretending in that moment that nothing was amiss, though her reaction had totally given it away that she knew she had fucked up. Oopsies.

Kai had been the one stuck with the kids. This was mainly due to his job giving him more time off and Violetta's job needing her their for the first day. As much as Kai would love some days off from work, it seemed that wasn't the case. He had not only one job, but two. One that would last a lifetime; fatherhood. He adored his two little babies, but they were a handful. Victoria, the girl, was so energetic. Merrick, his son, he was a bit more mellow, but he seemed to have a thirst for knowledge. The kid wanted everything he could get his hands on, and there was no shortage of items for him to grab at. Not too long ago, he found himself facing the dangerous game of diaper changing, only to end up being peed on. Wasn't the first time. Damn kids showed no remorse when it was his turn to change diapers, and he didn't expect them to anytime soon.

As the day reached that time, Kai had started to prepare for Violetta's return. He had took the kids out for a walk, showing them the beautiful area around their home. He even picked a few fresh apples. He may have been nicknamed 'The Red Pineapple', but his favorite were always apples. kai managed to pick an entire basket full of them, and he grabbed a few flowers too. When he returned home, he went and took the kids to their room, as they ended up falling asleep on their little field trip. Once they were all tucked in for their naps, Kai took the time of peace to focus on preparing his things. Kai went into the kitchen, and picked up his basket. Just as he did so, he heard a voice, and was about to reach for his sword until he realized who it was. It was Violetta. She didn't look the same neither. He didn't seem too excited with his response, "Hey.. Vio... You look different... and I don't mean like usual." He said, placing the basket on the table. Kai then reached down and picked up the cloth that covered the flowers and apples. "How was work...? Seems like it was interesting."

Skylar wasn’t normally the type to get super shaken. Hell, she was nearly killed by her own boyfriend and she was able to forgive him and face him like she did. She almost prided herself on having a level head during stressful times. That was probably why she was good at school. So it was strange to be freaking out over something so silly and not-real as a dream. Apparently everything that had happened to her lately (which was actually quite a lot) had started to wear on her mental strength, and it was finally starting to take its toll. So maybe that’s why the dream felt so real. Part of Skylars terror was the fact that Hyou wasn’t around when she woke up, so her mind immediately went to the worst case scenario of “something happened and/or he’s dead.” The tears fell down her cheeks as she frantically looked around the room, starting to get up when the door opened. Her eyes snapped to the figure in the doorway, not registering it was Hyou until he was by her bedside. Finally seeing Hyou, hearing his voice and knowing that he was okay, Skylar lunged over and wrapped her arms around his neck, crying into his shoulder. It was such a relief to see him, and as he was such a solid foundation in her life he also served as an emotional outlet, which is exactly what she needed right now. Trying to breathe between her sobs, she attempted to sputter out a response. “P-perfect w-w-was there, a-and then i-i-it was d-dark, a-a-and y-you were g-gone, a-and when I w-woke up y-you weren’t h-here... I-I just...” her voice broke, clutching on to the dragon as if he were going to disappear from right in front of her. Having Hyou here was helping to calm her a bit, so her sobs eventually slowed to less intense tears, which were soaking his shirt. “I don’t w-want you to leave me.” she admitted, hiding her face in his shoulder.

Hou's heart was about to jump out of his chest. He was scared half to death, and with every fiber of hos being was doused with worry. The way she had screamed for him was almost heart wrenching. As she told him what was wrong, he began to smile, his worry slowly fading. He even began to chuckle a soft chuckle. Placing his hands on Skylar's shoulders, he closed his eyes, and his smile remained. He then pulled away from the hug and let her get a good look at him. "You had me worried to death, Short Stuff. Shit, I thought something was happening. man... I've never been so scared in my life. And tell me... Tell me where I would go without you? Because I can't name a single place. If you can't see me, it just means I'm with you in here." He told her, placing a finger where her heart was. "That big heart of yours. The same one that saved me." Hyou said, kissing the blunette right after. Hyou used his finger to wipe away Skylar's tears, and he sat down on the bed beside her. "I'll be right be your side. Take it easy and relax, alright? You've been through more than enough. Surprised you were even able to launch yourself at me like that... One strong woman I've got." Hyou then chuckled, wrapping his arm around Scarlet and holding her close.

After Scarlet landed, Logan hopped off of her back and stretched a bit, preparing for his training match with Scarlet. It was going to be an interesting one. She seemed a bit hesitant, which honestly confused him. He figured it was just because he randomly asked, so he didn't think much of it. and just continued to prepare for their match. "Hey? Lets try and keep our fight to a moderate length. Say 8-10 minutes? Don't want anyone going overboard." He said smiling happily.

Kenai watched as Asako immediately shifted her attention to the snack stand. He shook his head and laughed a little at her enthusiast exclamation for snacks. Sure they had just ate but he was well aware of Asako love for snacks and he still had room for snacks, he didn't bother having any ice cream with his food earlier after all. "Yeah. Feels weird going to the movies and not getting any. Go ahead and pick out what you want and I'll get it once I get our tickets" he said with a nod of his head. He then went to the ticket booth to get their tickets.

----------------------------------------

Ilaani laughed along with him "Yep. Sounds like a good idea to me." She said with a nod, she lifted her coffee "For now anyways" she said before falling silent a bit, finishing her coffee before speaking again "It seems like things haven't really changed much while I was away honestly. Not even the coffee." She joked as she glanced into the now empty cup before leaving it down on the table. "I guess it's kind of nice that it's like that. Makes it easier to call this place home" she said with a shrug and a small smile "You know. If that makes sense" she added after.

Astrid Finchett

After so boldly declaring that she wanted Alejandro with her, Astrid just wanted to curl up in a ball and disappear. She had spent so many years putting up walls between herself and others that wanted to get close to her. It was hard to let someone in again, even if it was the one person she wanted to let in. She had to reteach herself how to be vulnerable, or maybe it was learning how to be vulnerable in the first place. Alejandro was her first official partner, both on a team and in a relationship, so everything was so new to her. Thankfully, Blue seemed to understand this, as he seemed just as nervous about everything as she did. The fact that his response to her "no" also sounded a bit embarrassed didn't escape her, and it kind of made her feel a little better that 1) he was okay with staying with her, and 2) he was also a bit timid about it. But really, what they both needed most at the moment was some good rest and sleep. They had both been through a lot today. As he picked her up, she noticed the shakiness in his legs, but didn't say anything about it. He seemed determined to help her to bed, so she wasn't going to say no. She appreciated everything that he was doing for her, after all.

Once she was sat on the bed, she made the decision to change into pajamas, not wanting to sleep in the gross clothes she had been wearing today. After fighting in them and wearing them literally inside Perfect, she wasn't sure she wanted anything to do with those clothes for a while. But, that meant changing in front of Alejandro. On missions she had changed in his general proximity, with privacy not necessarily being a luxury they could afford in the field. In theory, it should be the same as in the bedroom. Standing up, she walked over to her dresser and opened up the bottom drawer where her pajamas were stashed away. "I-I'm going to change." She announced, before taking a glance at Alejandro and stripping down, leaving her in nothing but her bra and panties. She couldn't help but blush at how exposed she knew she was, realizing only now that changing in front of him was not the same now that things between the two had changed. But also in that sense, she didn't really mind. After all, she had been secretly wanting for him to see her as more than just a partner for a little while, and this was a perfect situation. As she stood there half-naked and subconsciously moving her hands to cover her chest, he mentioned wishing he had pajamas. Looking up at him with the same vulnerable expression she had the moment she undressed, she nodded her head at the opened drawer of her dresser. "There should be sweatpants and shirts that should fit you in there... if you want." Not wanting to stay exposed for much longer, she threw on the pajamas she had picked out for herself - an oversized ice-blue shirt and a pair of black shorts. Once she was changed, she made her way back to the bed, maneuvering herself to one side of the bed before laying down on it and leaving plenty of space for Alejandro next to her.

Violetta

Well, this was awkward. Still, Violetta hadn't thought to just reverse time and come back inside the house after having changed back into a human. Or maybe it was that she had made a promise to herself the moment that she met him that she wouldn't manipulate time against him if she didn't absolutely have to. Either way, Violetta figured she was busted, especially considering how unenthusiastic he seemed to be at seeing her, but maybe she was just imagining things and she could play it off like nothing was Embarrassed, she looked away, at some rather uninteresting spot on the floor, the blush from before still on her cheeks as she kept the nervous smile. "W-what do you mean, I look the same as normal! Work was fine, n-nothing interesting, really!" She almost let out a nervous laugh, but restrained herself enough. "How was your day? How were the kids?" she asked almost too quickly, moving her gaze to look somewhere on the ceiling now. She attempted to change the subject, hoping she could somehow force her way past this conversation enough to escape out of sight and change back to her human form. Maybe then she could play it off like she was just wearing a different hairstyle or something?

Skylar Ainsworth

Skylar wasn't necessarily a person to dislike herself. She wasn't vain by any means, but her self-image wasn't necessarily a negative one. She knew she had her faults, but she also knew that everyone does, so that was no reason to get down on herself about it. But she was really disliking this version of herself. It was probably just the culmination of events that had happened recently that had just broken her spirit a bit, but she hated feeling this way. Even still, she was glad that Hyou was here with her instead of like her dream seemed to suggest. She sniffed as Hyou pulled away from the hug, partly wishing that he hadn't done that. Being close to Hyou helped her calm down, most likely because his hugs seemed to encase her whole body and make her feel safe. Perks of having a boyfriend who was much bigger than you, it seemed. Skylar looked down at her hands with guilt as he said that she scared him. Worrying him any more than she already had was the last thing she wanted to do, and she felt bad about it. She didn't seem to have much time to feel bad about it, as she suddenly felt his finger on her chest over her heart. She looked up at Hyou just before he kissed her, and she immediately was swept up in the kiss, losing herself in the short moment. When he broke the kiss, Skylar found herself breathless and wishing it wouldn't have ended. A blush had snuck up on her as he wrapped his arm around her, and she looked up at him with it strong on her face. There was a desire building in her chest from the kiss, and it wasn't helping the blush at all. "Hey... Hyou?" She asked, her voice a bit timid. "...can you do that again?" She wanted to look away, but after his sweet words to her and her not really having said anything back to him, she figured it was the least she could do.

Ansom let out a loud laugh and waved his fork in Elaena's direction. "Be myself?" He repeated it and followed it up with another laugh, his head shaking a bit. "You forget, Elaena. Being myself is exactly what I DON'T want to do. It's what I'm trying to AVOID." He smiled and took another bite before returning to flipping of the channels. Eventually, it landed on some sitcom and Ansom decided to quit bothering with it. "But, yes, being the Anti-God is definitely not acceptable to most in any social interaction. I tend to just keep that a secret. I've learned that people even prefer to hear God of Chaos rather than Anti-God." He sighed and shook his head a bit, looking at his plate. "That's why I gave myself the nickname of the Chaos God. It keeps my roots and makes people a bit less fearful."
