Asako smiled and nodded, she was aware that putting his thoughts into words wasn't Kenai's strong suit, she was flattered he had tried to do it though. His words did infact make her feel better about herself. She trusted everything he said, she had no reason not to after all, Kenai wasn't the type to lie. She tilted her head in thought at his question. Did she have plans? Nope, none that she bothered to remember at least. She shook her head, "Nope~ I'm open to doing anything at any time~" She said and gave him a thumbs up.Kenai smiled slightly after she said she understood what he was saying. "Good. I wasn't sure if my answer made sense or not. You know words on my thoughts aren't really my thing at all" he said with a gentle shrug before continuing to eat his food, finishing it off. It really wasn't his thing and normally he'd avoid it at all costs because he was poor at it, but on this occasion he didn't struggle much with it simply because he didn't want Asako thinking she wasn't all that unique or special, because she was. He thought she was and he was sure others did too so he felt that he would attempt to speak up about it. "Any plans for what you're doing after were done eating here?" He asked after a moment or two.
-----------------------------
Ilaani's smile grew slightly at his answer before simply laughing it off and shaking her head a little. She hummed in thought for a moment after he talked about their coffee, obviously he had gotten side tracked just like she had. It seems they really did have a lot of catching up to do. For a change she didn't argue that she would get it, simply because she had promised to let him do so before arriving there otherwise she would have. A promise was a promise so she was respectful of that. "A latte works fine for me" she said with a nod and a small smile.
-------------------------------------
"Latte, gotcha" He said with a small nod before standing in the small line, which consisted of only two people in front of him. It was refreshing to grab coffee with Ilaani again, it was moments like these he could just forget all the stressful things and focus on enjoying her company. From now on, he planned on making time to hang out with her. Considering his life was back to normal it wouldn't be hard, and besides, he didn't want her to think he could easily forget about her. "Next?" Allen stepped forward and glanced at the options. There was no point to it, he knew what he was getting, and it wasn't like there'd be a drastic change in coffee options. "One cappuccino and one latte, please." He said, pulling out his wallet and paying for the drinks. He stepped out to the side, waiting for their drinks to be made. He glanced over where they were sitting, making eye contact with Ilaani he stuck out his tongue jokingly. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone had seen him do it, quickly looking away and resisting the urge to slap his hand over his face.
