Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Akane hadn't been paying attention to the door. Instead, she was rather interested in the noises she heard from inside. Sounded like someone had fell coming to the door, which caused her to snicker a bit before regaining her composure. When the door opened in the slightest bit that it did, Akane raised her hat. Her eyes now visible, "Hmmm... You must be, Himeragi. You look pretty young." She said, her eyes gaining their last detail: a glowing swirl that went around the iris. She smiled a bit, "I'm an Ishida. Just like the man you worked for in the past. I'm his mother. Akane." She told her. "I was wondering if I may come in... I was hoping to get to meet the friends of my son, as for the majority of his life, I wasn't there. I was dead actually. Pretty sure he never mentioned that though." Akane smiled once again. "I won't bite by the way I'm a friendly woman... Unless provoked." She added, the last bit being a bit more serious than the rest. This girl interested her already. Sort of made her wonder why her son spoke highly of her.
Himeragi listened and it gave her a chill down her back. When she finished, she closed the door gently before she quickly debated. Roman's mother? The swirl in her eye. She was dead? There were so many things racing to her head. She let out a sigh that seemed a bit shaken before taking a breath in and undid the chain and opened the door for Akane. "A-Ah sure. Come in. Do you want a drink or a bite? Uhm, both...?" She asked nervously before slightly forcing a smile. Due to appearances and her way of phrasing things, Himeragi was actually pretty scared of her. However she tried to keep her composure as best as possible. But her hand on the door knob that opened the door was trembling ever so slightly. She felt like she was actually going to die. There was just a never ending chill going through her body as she let the mother of Roman inside her home.

Gail floated next to Ren as he walked towards the general direction of the lake. In truth, she was perfectly tangible - she could've walked if she wished. She just enjoyed floating - so much so, in fact, she couldn't remember the last time her feet touched the ground and walked her like most other people. Perhaps six centuries of death had made her lazy.

Gently moving on at a leisurely pace, Gail was looking around at the general scene - of the different buildings in the city, the people, and the general hustle. Gail had never really experienced the pressures of life, and the constant need for deadlines and timetables. Gail wasn't used to it all, being dead, and found it amazing how quickly the world moves when she wasn't moving to keep it. Perhaps her six centuries of nothing, barely doing anything compared to the different students, workers and businessmen around her is why she found her schoolwork so difficult. Now she has to get up to speed if she wishes to keep herself relevant. Still, she enjoyed it. She enjoyed the different pace her school provided her.

Smiling to herself, Gail found her suddenly flung back to her current situation as Ren said something to her. Listening to him speak, unsure of where this sudden question came from, Gail just shrugged and replied in her usual melodious, ethereal voice. "Erm...not really. If I have something I need to say, I just say it. It does no one any good hiding secrets from anyone - especially good friends. Trust me, I've been around long enough to know that those sort of things just eat you up, and ruin you. I've seen too many people who've lost love and friends simply because they weren't able to say what they were truly feeling...although, I can understand why people bottle up things like the thoughts in the back of the mind. It can be hard to say them out loud, because it worries us how others will think of them for saying it." Gail says, turning her head to the side so she could look Ren in the eyes. Her expression was calm, yet it had a pinch of worry in it - it worried her why Ren was saying these things. "Although, it does make it easier to say when you are saying them to a friend. Why do you ask? Do you have something you need to say?"

Gail stops moving, and now moves her body so that she is facing him. "You can say things to me, you know. I'm your friend, and I won't be any less of a friend to you if you feel like you need to have an ear to speak to." Speaking with utmost honesty, Gail's eyes light up as she grabs Ren's hands carefully. This time, she appears more like a friend trying to console an upset companion than anything else.

Roman Roman

She giggled. "No one? Not even a crush? No girl caught your eye? I wonder if there is a girl that likes you, you just don't know it yet." She said before getting up and walking back to where she stood, around Elliot. After she had done that, the memory continued. The two Serias in the memory kept conversing, later exchanged a peck on the lips. It brought a blush to the actual Seria's face. She then saw a door and walked towards it. "Hm... Well, that was a thing.."

Elliot eyes followed Seria as she began to walk around him "I did like this one girl I used to hang out with before but nothing ever happened between us." He admitted as he rubbed the side of his face with his hand, it wasn't like he tried to test if it would either, he was too nervous to. "As for the latter, I really don't think so. I'm not exactly boyfriend material" he answered, smiling sheepishly. It was then that he caught the two Serias sharing a kiss and actually Seria getting embarrassed. He blinked before following after Seria to the door "I guess that was the weird feeling you were talking about"

She gave a somewhat bashful smile and looked down at her hands for a moment, which were lightly placed on her lap upon hearing his first comment, laughing quietly after him. As he asked where she worked she had looked back in his direction catching his sideglance. She shook her head before answering "I trust you won't blow the building up for fun, so I don't mind at all" she said with an amused smile. "It's the small café just right across from the highschool. My classmates sister part runs it" She waved her hand when he offered to change the music "No, no. This is your car, you are the driver, you can choose the music" she said calmly "Besides, as I said, it's interesting. Sounds like some of the music I hear in the dream realm."
Ansom chuckled at Elaena's comment about blowing up the building. "I might have to do that since you doubt me." He said in a teasing tone. When she explained the location of the cafe, Ansom gave a nod. "Ah, that seems really nice. Perhaps I'll visit there next time I feel hunger. It'll probably be better than cereal and a bologna sandwich." He laughed and turned the radio down just a bit for fear of annoying Elaena. "Music of the dream world?" Ansom raised his eyebrows quizically and then shook his head. "I've never entered the dreamscape on my own without the aide of sleep. I wouldn't know if there was music or not."

Ansom took a right and pulled into the parking lot of the movie theater. He searched around for a spot. He found a seemingly open spot but when he was about to turn, he saw that a moped stood in the center of the spot. Ansom growled a bit and stopped in front of the spot. He got out of the car and walked over to the moped. He picked it up and examined it before shaking his head. "This is why I hate people." He tossed it across the parking lot with ease and then got back in the car. "Sorry about that. The nerve of some people." He sighed and then pulled into the spot, shutting off the car afterward.

"Yes. It's better than that" she said with a soft laugh "See if you blow it up now it would be too predictable, wouldn't it?" She asked, tilting her head lightly and smiling "Besides, I'd rather not have to go through the process of job searching. It's lengthy, boring and not many people like to hire you if they find out you have hypersomnia episodes on occasion." She said with a slight shrug and a giggle. "I can enter it with or without sleep. There is. Even if I am not there I can always see it. It can sometimes be bothering when my eyes can't tell the difference between if an object is in this realm or in the dream realm as I see both simultaneously." She explained, her eyes drifted towards the radio, noticing that he had lowered the volume. She had already told him it was okay, but she didn't comment on his action in case it was for an unrelated reason. Her eyes had snapped away from the radio as the car stopped her gaze now following Ansom as he stepped out of the car to toss the moped out of the way. She blinked a few times as she looked out a side window at the moped that was now located across the parking lot. "Oh my." She said simply as she placed her hand to her face. Although it probably shouldn't have been in a spot for a full sized car, she was pretty sure throwing it was exactly the best way of dealing with the issue... Though she was sure the moped would still work fine so it wasn't like they stranded anyone. She stared at Ansom curiously as he apologised to her, not actually sure what he was apologising for. For the moped being there? Or for tossing it. "It's quite alright?" Sounding unsure about what he was directing his apology at but accepting it either way.

Ansom nodded and waved his hands a bit. "It's alright now, yes." He opened the door and shook his head one last time before exiting the car and closing the door. Immediately, he was on the other side of the car, opening the door for Elaena. There wasn't even a second in between him leaving the car and him opening the door for the girl. "Sorry, you don't get to slap me yet." He said with a small grin. "But I'm sure you will find a reason at some point."

Ansom stepped out of the way, his hand still on the door, to allow Elaena comfortable room to exit the car. "So, you say you can see both realms at the same time?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows. "So how do you distinguish them? Like, how do you know if anything I've done is real or not?" The Anti-God spoke with a genuine curiosity. He had never bothered with the dream realm as he had believed dreams always had a purpose of the world and should never be destroyed. At least...not on a literal sense.

She looked up at him as he opened the door and spoke "Oh what a shame. I was ready to and everything" she joked, answering his grin with a playful smile. "I kid of course" she said softly as she stepped out of the car "Though you are sure I will? What makes you say that?" She asked curiously, so far he had been nothing but nice to her so she couldn't see how she would need to. "Oh and yes, I see both at once, It's part of my abilities that I cannot suppress." She narrowed her eyes in thought as ehe tried to answer his question "As for what I see...well. I only see the dream realm involuntarily. I'm not actually there. I'm still here in this realm, therefore things I see that are in the dream realm can be seen but are a bit feint and are normally intangible" She paused for a moment as her mouth formed into a thin line "Now that I think about it. I have spoken to someone I thought was real before...turned out they weren't." She said frowning lightly.

"No reason why I say it. I sometimes do quite a few things that are deserving of a slap." Ansom laughed, placing his hand on his stomach whilst his did so. "So, you have had experience with false interaction?" He spoke with an amused expression. He closed the door behind Elaena and then began to walk towards the movie theater. "So there really isn't any solid evidence that I'm real?" He asked, walking backwards again to face his companion. "I'm actually an elaborate dream. Wake up."

Commenting on her experience with false interaction her gaze moved off to the side. "Yes, more times than I'd really care to admit honestly." She answered with a sheepish smile "I was talking to a person who I thought was a new student for a whole week, I looked like a crazy person talking to no one.I guess people's imaginary friends end up in the dream realm" she said with a shrug before looking to Ansom as he walked backwards, giggling when he asked her to wake up. "As for if there's proof you are real? I guess not." She paused "I mean I could use that slap. If I'm able to touch you, you're real, if it goes through you then you're fake... possibly" she joked as she raised her hand for a moment then lowered it again. "I'm not sure of the accuracy of that test would be"

Roman listened to what Masahi had to say. It made sense to him, and well at this point, he had Roman fully on board with the idea. If this CROSS group was as dangerous as he made them seen, not only was his family and Kaori in danger, but students, Masahi's own family, and more. Roman was all for making his family's name look good, especially when the public was riding their asses about nothing. Sighing lightly, Roman propped his head up on his hand and looked at Masahi. "Okay... But my clones can be a bit obvious. I have a student who's apart of my family in the school who would make the perfect spy. I could see if she'd be willing to help us get some information from the inside, that way I can dispatch clones, but not as many as I would have without her. But I don't wanna put her in harms way, so there's a high chance I'll have to take the clones." Roman said, remaining in his current position, even as Masahi walked to the door, waiting for Roman to follow suit.

Standing up, Roman groaned a bit, "I'm gonna assume I have no choice but to go." He said, chuckling a bit. Roman walked over to Masahi, and patted his shoulder. "Well, lets get a move on. At this time, classes are over, that being said we can get onto campus easy. I'll take us." Roman said, using Kamui on both himself and Masahi, taking them to the front gates of FHS... Or what was now Euphorian Highschool.

Masahi Takamasa

Masahi considered what Roman had to say on using one of his family members as a spy, and though logically speaking it worked just fine, was it okay for Masahi to drag more than just Roman into this plan? That close-minded thinking had been the reason he originally chose to wear a mask and work alone, but it's not like it hadn't saved his rear before. Not that it hadn't cost him as well. But before Masahi could form words on that matter they had appeared before the gates of the school and a sound similar to a huff with an undertone of amusement escaped his lips. "Well, at least you know how to read someone's intentions. And you're right, I would have dragged you out if I needed to." Masahi said in his now usual flat tone that he always had during business. On that note, Masahi gestured forward as if saying 'show me the way.'

After that Masahi started walking, figuring Roman would get the message and take the lead. "If your clones aren't fast enough I can have a few of my combat type Zetsu's keep watch over the girl, they all can regenerate like me, maybe a bit faster. But I'm sure with all you've done getting to where you are, not's the least of your worries, no?"

Elaena nodded beginning to walk with him "I guess that's a fair answer, doesn't everyone when they aren't careful?" She said with a smile. "I'm not sure of the accuracy of that test would be"
Ansom had an amused looked in his eyes when Elaena raised her hand. He seemed kind of disappointed when she dropped it, but he was feigning the look. "I guess you'll never know, right?" He laughed and turned to walk normally, looking at the movie theater and the line of people. Ansom groaned a bit and looked behind him at Elaena. "If I die from impatience at waiting in line, I'm going to haunt you." He warned with a small smirk.

Ren blinked, shaking his head in a slight panic, hoping to show that it wasn't something that serious. Gail's reaction was a bit much, and he didn't process it quick enough. "A-Ah... Uh, I mean... I know you're my friend. I just wanted to say that... That's all! For what I want to say, maybe sometime in the future, I'll tell you." He said, smiling a bit as he looked at their hands. Ren knew she was trying to comfort him, or something of the sort, but he was perfectly fine. Emotional wise and all. "I'll be okay for now though. Thanks."

Ren then slowly removed his hands from Gail's and continued walking, motioning for her to follow. "C'mon, we're almost there."He said, ready to go take a sit and enjoy the view of the small body of water that was near.

He wasn't sure if telling her what he's been thinking about now would be a good idea. He figured waiting for a different more appropriate time. Though that one was nice and all, he decided to just wait, seeing as how he was caught off guard by Gail's reaction.

(((( My bad for the shorter post. ))))

Akane smiled a bit as the door opened, and she softly responded to Himeragi's question, "Hmm, a drink sounds nice. Thank you~" She asked walking inside once the door was open wide enough for her to step through. She could practically see that Himeragi was scared of her. It sort of confused her, but catching a quick glimpse of herself in the window, she realized why she was a bit scary. After being exposed to Perfect's negative energy, it had an effect on Akane herself. One of the major changes being her appearance. "No need to be scared child. I'm not going to hurt you, just wanted to check up on my son's friend as I stated before." Akane said, nodding her head. "So, if you didn't fear him, you don't have to fear me, as we aren't enemies, and hopefully never will be." She added happily.

He blinked before following after Seria to the door "I guess that was the weird feeling you were talking about"
"Yeah, I suppose. Er, just forget that okay?" She asked before pushing the door, taking them to the next memory. They appeared in the temple again and Natsumi had brought her a new sword, the empire flag of her old home and a high ranking knights uniform. Seria in the memory was confused as to why she brought such things.

Akane smiled a bit as the door opened, and she softly responded to Himeragi's question, "Hmm, a drink sounds nice. Thank you~" She asked walking inside once the door was open wide enough for her to step through. She could practically see that Himeragi was scared of her. "So, if you didn't fear him, you don't have to fear me, as we aren't enemies, and hopefully never will be." She added happily.
"Ah... Alright. What kind of drink would you like?" She said before she closed the door behind Akane, the trembling starting to die away. She then lead Akane to the kitchen and awaited what kind of drink she wanted. If she was his mother, then how come they looked different? The only similarity she could find was skin tone and eyes. She could kind of see their head shapes. Other than that, it looked very dissimilar.

YUMI AND KANON

It didn't take long for Yumi to reach the dorms from where she was. The dorms were built to be close to school, and she was already halfway there when she got the call from Han, so now that she was running from excitement, it really did take her no time at all to actually get to the dorm building. As she approached, she noticed that Han was already at the front, with Kanon seeming to be latched around his waist. Yeah, looks like they had made up after all. That was a good sign. Smiling, Yumi waved her arms as she ran forward, calling out to the two of them. "Big brother!! Kanon!!" her voice was happier than it had been in a while, probably because it had been a while since she was able to call out to both of her siblings in the same breath, and in a positive light. She wasn't even thinking of their father at the moment... trying to focus on the positives lately. She slowed her steps in front of them, taking a moment to catch her breath. She wasn't the most athletically inclined, so she wasn't currently in the best shape. Running left her a bit out of breath. "You weren't too far away were you?" She smiled up excitedly at Han before softening her gaze and looking at Kanon. "Hey sis, how you doing?" Kanon didn't really answer, mainly still just sniffling from her crying earlier. Hearing that, Yumi nodded, before looking at Han. "Glad to see you two not at each other's throats. It's... been a while since we've been able to say that, hasn't it?" She laughed, her voice a mix of nervousness and sadness. As wonderful as their newfound positive relationship was, it was still new, and she was a bit awkward. Though she was just glad she had her big brother back in her life.

Han had smiled when Yumi came into his view. It was always nice to see her, mainly because she was usually happy; at least in his opinion. When she called out to both him and Kanon, he waved, his free hand still on Kanon's head, patting her to keep her comfortable. "Hey Yumi-chan!~" He said back. When she made it over to them, he didn't say anything in response to her question, but instead simply nodded as he continued to pat Kanon's head. Something told Han that Kanon wouldn't respond to Yumi's question, which didn't bother him much because he knew Yumi was the understanding type. She piratically could take any situation and make it a good one for you if need be. He was always thankful of her for that. Only time they couldn't fix a situation is when their mother passed, but they seem to have come to terms with it. When Yumi mentioned them not being at one another's throat being a good thing, he nodded in agreement once again, "Yeah... It is a nice change of pace." He said, smiling softly as he spoke, looking down at Kanon who was still wrapped around his waist. It was almost as if she were glued there, but unfortunately that was gonna have to come to an end in a moment, as he had somewhere to be before he came back for them. The last time they were at odds was in that weird casino place that showed up. He and Apollyon were dominating this fight club place, but that all eventually came to an end, but before that he had saw Kanon drunk off her butt. He was disappointed, but who was he to be angry. He wasn't there to keep structure in her life nor protect her from the harm those men did. A time when she needed her big brother most, he couldn't even come around. Shaking the ideas out of his mind, he gently peeled Kanon from around his waist. "Thanks for coming, Yumi. Remember, I'll be around later. Make sure you're both ready. Now, I have a meeting to go to, so keep an eye on Kanon for me." He then hugged them both before waving goodbye and heading to his destination.

(((( My bad for the shorter post. ))))

Gail smiled as Ren shook his head - it made her happy to see that Ren was alright. She guessed that he was just asking the question to speculate. Still, and it pained her to think so, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something else was still amiss. Either way, though, she told Ren that he could confide in her when, and if, he was ready. That is assuming, that something was wrong at all, of course. Gail didn't want to believe there was, but she still had a twinge in the back of her mind - it could be wrong, though. Letting Ren go, she looked onward as she continued to walk, slowing down so that she was walking alongside him.

As Ren began to talk again, she nods her head in reply. "Yeah, I know. The lake is going to be quite nice, I think, this early in the morning. Everyone else would be busy, so it'll be just us, I think."

Gail was looking forward to it. She had so many questions about Ren, and his newfound godhood, and she was sure he had a few about her.

Levi nodded when she said to stay where he was. He guess she didn't want to have to get help from him and that's why she asked that. Though he could easily help her find the place since he knew his way around he just stood there. On this occasion, he didn't mind, it wasn't like he had anything else to be doing in the meantime. That and Seiko's mannerisms still amused him, he wanted to see how this would all pan out. Sighing softly, he positioned himself to lean against the nearest wall, resting his eyes as he waited for Seiko to return. After a while of waiting he heard Seiko's voice, causing him to open his eyes. "Get where?" He asked as he pushed himself off the wall so he was now standing straight "Seiko, I haven't moved..." He pointed out before chuckling a little "Isn't Kurishita supposed to help you with these things?" He asked, tilting his head as he stared at Kurishita or rather. The object she was inhabiting.

"Eh?" She said and looked at kurishita which turns out to be her necklace. "I've lost Kurishita how could I be so clumsy?!" She said rubbing her head. Turns out Kurishita was hanging from her backpack. "I have to go look for her. But I'm lost!' She said panicking looking around confused as to where she is. "Where are we?" She asked Levi clearly confused and lost on the brink of crying. "This is bad!" She said pacing in a circle. "We're going to starve and die in the streets." She said overreacting obviously Matsuko peeked out of her bag.

Elaena giggled as she now followed behind "Hmm, yes. I guess not." She joked back at him, she narrowed her eyes a little as she fell silent for a moment as if she were pondering. She was 99% sure he was real. The 1% coming from the fact that she thought that 'student' was real for atleast a week... She shook her head, pushing away the ridiculous thought that he might not be real out of her head, her gaze moved back in his direction when he groaned. "Haunt me? So you're a ghost too?" She laughed a little "I don't think that would be so bad to have you follow me around." She paused "Unless you plan to like...throw stuff around... Or whatever things ghosts do." She said before looking to the line ahead of them it didn't seem to bad of a queue to her, then again, Elaena was a pretty patient person so what qualified as a long line was probably different to Ansom.

"I'm not a ghost right now." Ansom held up his finger as he talked and walked. "But when I die by waiting for an eternity, I will be. And you best believe I'll be haunting you." He chuckled at Elaena's comments of throwing things around as a ghost. "No. Even better. I'll simply do minor imconveniences. You know, turn on lights that you turn off, move your furniture by an inch every week so you stub your toes, unplug your chargers while you sleep so your devices won't charge. Stuff like that." He shrugged.

When Ansom reached the line, he walked all the way to the back and placed his hands on his pockets.
"Ugh. I hate lines. So much...order." He groaned again and looked at the relatively few people in front of him. "All this for a simple move...about heroes that defeat chaos." He turned to face Elaena and pointed a finger at her. "You're luck I find you not so annoying as other people." He said with a smile.

Elliot blinked, forget she kissed someone? Seemed like an odd request but he just excepted it rather than question why. Besides, it moved the subject off of his lovelife too, which he wasn't particularly fond of talking about. With a shrug of his shoulders he entered the door that Seria had pushed "Fair enough" he said simply as he now stood beside her, watching the next memory

Levi stared at her blankly as she began freaking out about where they were. Did she not just hear him say that he hadn't moved? As she began pacing around, Levi had spotted Kurishita dangling from her bag, which he found amusing, he chuckled a little "Seiko" he called, trying to get her attention at first but she started talking about dying in the streets. He rolled his eyes as she continued to overreact. Deciding maybe he should intervene he took a few steps forward he stood right in the middle of Seiko's path, placing his hands on her shoulders to stop her in her tracks once she was close enough "Relax." He shook his head "We aren't starving. We aren't lost and we aren't going to die. Okay?" He said before cracking a smile and removing his hands from her shoulders "I haven't moved from where you told me to stay, I know exactly where we are. Okay?"

Elaena raised her brows at his answer before laughing softly "Oh wow. That's much worse, borderline evil even." she said shaking her head a little. She gave an amused grin when he started griping about being in the line and turning to face her "Oh come now, it's not that long of a line, a few more minutes and we'll be at the front of it" she said with a small giggle "And yes, I'm aware. Though, I'm not sure if I should feel flattered or insulted by the 'not so annoying part' or your statement" she smiled back at him, letting him know it was a joke "Who knows, you could actually like this movie"

"Yeah. I could like it." Ansom said with a small shrug as he took a step forward to fill the gap in the line. "Or I could throw up in my cupholder. Either or." He chuckled a bit, his shoulders rising with the action. "Gods shouldn't wait in lines, just so you know. I've been reduced to some average citizen." He sighed and looked towards the ground, kicking a small pebble at his feet. The pebble skittered along the ground and ended up on the road. Ansom watched it the entire way and then looked back at Elaena. "Well, while we're waiting for this forsaken line, tell me more about the dream world...if there is anything else to say. Is it a nice place most the time or a bad?"

She looked surprised when he said he could like the movie. Her surprised expression was quickly wiped as he continued to speak, mentioning the possibility of him throwing up in a cupholder. She stared at him before giggling along with him "Yes, let's hope the latter doesn't happen" she said as she watched him kick the pebble "Well if we make plans to do something again, you can choose what we do next so you can do something that doesn't make you wait in lines" she said shrugging her shoulders a little, her gaze then moved from the pebble and towards Ansom offering a smile. She stopped to think about his question for a moment before answering "I suppose it is nice, the really nasty thoughts and dreams go straight to a nightmare realm. It is just... Hmm. I guess what some would call odd most of the time. Since it is influenced by people's subconscious and dreams there are many strange objects and creatures that are there which you'd never see on Earth. Things like physics can be skewed at times too. Its always changing around. A lot of things aren't constant." She put her hand to her face "I apologise if that didn't answer your question, it's the kind of place thats a little bit difficult to explain. Perhaps I can show you it sometime." She said tapping her hand against her face a few times before lowering it again.
