Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

As Ren joked on, Gail chuckled alongside him. At least the situation wasn't as awkward as she was dreading to be. However, she didn't plan on hugging him again any time soon - not exactly the 'lady-like' behaviour she tries so very hard to maintain. Still, she did enjoy the compliment...but, she usually enjoys complements. Even if she enjoys them in secret.

Watching him stand up and offer her his hand, Gail looked up to Ren with a puzzled face. Surely he saw the futility of offering a hand to help a massless, floating being up? Or, perhaps, he was simply being nice. Gail preferred to see it as a latter, although she still smirked slightly as she took the hand. Still smirking, she simply willed herself upward, still in a seated position, as she more carried rather than let her hand be carried by Ren's hand.

Now that the morning sun had started to rise properly, Gail had started to warm up a bit. Still much cooler than most, she wasn't as cold as ice as most people assumed but more...well, cold as the dead. Which makes sense, really. But, even still, it was more of a cool than a cold. Her face lifted by the general mood between the pair, now a smile as opposed to the frown that she wore before, she nodded happily as Ren asked her out on the walk. "Yeah, alright. That'll be nice."
Ren watched as Gail took his hand, and floated up a bit. With a smile, he said something, "I'm gonna assume you're wondering why I offered my hand to you, even though I know you aren't a tangible being." Ren chuckled a bit and shrugged his shoulders a bit, "Honestly, it's just a force of habit. My mom took manners very seriously and being a gentleman was one of the things she hammered into my mind back then. To this day, I'm happy she did. It's gotten me so far, and landed me a ton of friends and whatnot." He said, starting to ramble on about his childhood. Ren didn't notice right away, but when he did, he covered his mouth, laughing a bit. "Sorry about that. You probably don't wanna hear about all of that noise." Out of embarrassment, Ren looked to his side where Gail wasn't, rubbing the back of his head. Ren wasn't much of a rambler, but it happened from time to time.

Once he got over his little embarrassing, at least to him, moment, he looked over to Gail, soon speaking up to her, "There's a lot of places we can go and visit. I was thinking somewhere off campus though. Not much happens here, and well if you haven't seen some of the tourists attractions in the city, I highly suggest that... That is if you haven't already though. You can fly and stuff after all." Ren said, giving a small soft chuckle. He wasn't poking fun at her for being dead or anything, because not only would that be rude, but her being able to fly was no unknown fact. She could go anywhere she wanted at anytime. "There's a lake close by that's off campus, or we can go to the tower... Anywhere pretty much. I'll let you decide if you have anywhere in specific."

Ren didn't know what Gail would be into, so he was going to take this chance to learn a bit more about his friend. See what kind of things piqued her interest. Maybe she'd learn something about him too, other than his childhood that is. No one wants to hear the boring story of a normal kid. Things like attending school, or what did he do on a daily basis... Normal human stuff. If anything, Gail's life would be more interesting than his. She lived in a time period that he couldn't imagine himself being from. Not at all.

YUMI AND KANON
Kanon hated this part of herself. The.... vulnerable part. She felt weak, and dependent, and small. It was why she had forced herself to lock it away deep down where she didn't have to deal with it ever again. Well, that wasn't entirely accurate. She hadn't quite forced herself, more like her situation forced it upon her. Either way, she hadn't let herself be vulnerable in a very long time. Gods, when was the last time she actually cried? She couldn't remember. Everything was kind of hazy at the moment, from how hard she currently was crying. By the time that Han had teleported them back to school, the tears had slowed, but not completely. The "little sister" in Kanon was fully activated, and she didn't want to let go of Han. Partly because it was actually nice to feel like he was back in their lives, partly because she was actually scared that he was going to go away again like he had if she let go. Partly because she didn't want Han to see her face all messed up. And partly because it still was the anniversary of their mother's death and she was just a mess anyways. Her ears perked a bit when she heard Han pull out his cellphone, though from her position she couldn't tell who it was.

Yumi was walking back to the dorms when she got the phone call. She had been so out of it all day that classes had already ended before she knew what hit her. Yes she was barely old enough to know her mother but it still was a reminder that she didn't have one anymore. It was hard to focus on this day every year, and she couldn't help but wonder why she didn't just stay home or go with Kanon to the grave. She felt like a zombie, with only the weight of her schoolbag pulling on her shoulder grounding her to reality. She was zoned out of it to the point where hearing her phone buzzing in her pocket actually startled her, and she almost dropped the phone trying to grab it. All she could think was that it was Kanon, or something had happened to her, and now she was on high alert. Her eyes widened to see that the caller ID read "Han", and she answered it almost too quickly.

"Big Brother?" she answered breathlessly, wondering why he was calling her.

Han had brought Kanon back to the school via teleportation, in hope that he'd be able to get her back to her boyfriend, or Yumi. He had somethings to go and do for work, but he wasn't going to stay long. He wanted to prove to Kanon that he was going to stay true to his word, and began planning something for them all to do later this evening. His treat. When Yumi answered the phone, Han slowly moved it away from his ear, and sighed a bit. Whatever she was doing, it didn't sound like she was in the medical area anymore. It was a bit quieter. "Yeah, it's me. I was gonna bring Kanon to you. I had bumped into her at mom's grave. She was just paying her respects, but things got a bit heated and well... I was called out on my failure as a big brother. I will admit, she isn't wrong, but I won't bore you with the details. I'll tell you about it a different time. I'm just gonna bring Kanon to you. I'll meet you at the dorms. Look after her for the day. She'll need it. Oh and make sure you too are ready this evening, I wanna take you guys to dinner tonight. Sounds good?" Han asked, whispering the part about taking them to dinner so Kanon wouldn't hear. "I would invite the cat boy, but that's a party we'll save for another time."He added. Han then looked down at Kanon, walking with her wrapped around his waist. This must've been what it was like when they were younger. It was a feeling he had forgot after being gone for so long. A feeling he wish he had never forgot. Awaiting Yumi's answer, Han continued to the dorm's his free arm around Kanon to comfort her from the previous argument and anger that consumed their time earlier. There was something else he needed to do now that he thought about it, and that was to find their dad. That would be saved for a later time too though. He wouldn't wanna tell his sisters what he was planning... At least along those terms that is,

ASTRID

It was strange baring herself out like this. Astrid was definitely not used to expressing her emotions. Growing up, where she was from, it could spell disaster in multiple ways to be any kind of vulnerable, including emotionally. So she learned how to keep her true emotions hidden, locked away where they couldn't be toyed with. She was the epitome of self-preservation, and it seemed to work out in her favor. For the most part, anyways. Once she left home and came to the surface, she realized that she was finally free. Free to do what she wanted, be who she wanted, choose what to do with her life, choose who was in her life... and that meant finally finding and having some true friends. But having true friends meant having to open herself up to them... something she wasn't totally prepared to do. Skylar realized this and didn't mind either way. Her kind nature meant that she didn't push where Astrid didn't want to be pushed, and for that she was eternally grateful. She only hoped that one day she'd be able to open up about who she really was. And then there was Alejandro. Somehow without her realizing, Alejandro had broken down all the walls around her heart and opened every lock she had placed upon herself. Somehow he managed to get under her skin, and before she knew it she had grown from hating him to loving him. And of course, she never thought he'd ever feel the same. Defense mechanisms were meant to be strong, of course. That brought everything to this moment. Alejandro giving his response of his own feelings. How she'd never be alone again. How he'd always be there. How she wouldn't have to cry again. Suddenly, Alejandro leaned forward and kissed her, and the surprise on her face was evident. But it didn't last long, and soon she found herself kissing back. Leaning into it, kissing the person she loved... that was pretty nice. And just like Alejandro, it was on instinct. A need and desire she didn't really know she had until this moment. A moment that was a long time coming... and seemed to be great for both of them. If she could have it her way, she never wanted it to end.
tumblr_n0fq93hSza1slc5m8o1_500.gif

Alejandro enjoyed every second of this moment. It was special. A moment that he was going to hold dear to his heart for the rest of his life. The moment he was finally able to tell Astrid the way he felt about her. His very first kiss with the girl he liked. It was... The first time he felt like a normal guy. Not the pampered rich kid he was. He then pulled away from the their kiss, and looked at Astrid. He felt tears well up in the corners of his eyes and for the first time, he cried. He closed his eyes and a tear rolled down his cheek and he spoke softly, "Damn it." He then shook his head a bit, rubbing his eyes with his coat sleeves. He didn't wanna be seen like this, but he couldn't help it. With all of the emotion feeling the room, this irregular side just kind of burst out. A side he was neglecting. His emotions. "I'm such a loser... I couldn't even protect you. I couldn't protect anyone out there... Yet here I am trying to act like none of it never happened." Wiping the tears away completely, he continued to look down, not being able to look Astrid in her face, he felt sort of disgraced. "I'm giving you my all Astrid. I'm going to grow stronger alongside you. We are going to grow stronger and when we do, I guarantee that we'll be able to take on any threat and nothing like what happened back there will ever happen again." He said, placing his hands on her's. Man... He felt weak. Puny in comparison to what was out there awaiting them in their journey together, but in time, they were going to persevere. Overcome and trample their challenges together. This moment solidified their bond. She was officially his everything, and him her's. Without much thought, Alejandro buried his face into her chest, and didn't say anything for a moment, though eventually, his muffled, but still audible voice could be heard.

"...I love you..."

Not at all.

Gail wasn't particularly curious about why Ren offered her his hand, as she had already made up her mind that he was just being polite, but smiled anyways as he spoke. From what she could tell Ren had a good upbringing, like her own, where he was taught all the things needed to be a good person. That probably explains why he is such a good person, Gail thought to herself, which parents that took care of him like that. It also seemed to Gail that Ren liked it when he talked about his childhood, and his parents - another sign of a good life. The way Ren spoke of his mother made Gail smile a tad, as it reminded her of her own mother. Except this time, rather than remembering her as dead, Gail remembered her mother like she was when she was alive. Perhaps it was just the mood she was currently in.

When it came to deciding where the pair wanted to go, Gail just chuckled. "I've been around, yes. I've seen a lot of the world, to be fair. I think I'd prefer the lake, though. A lot more peace and quiet there than at the tower, I imagine." Besides, while Gail enjoyed seeing the marvels that man have created, she liked the natural beauty in the world. Gail, now changed from her sitting position to a standing one, floated next to Ren with an excited look on her face. She was looking forward to the walk, and it was clear on her face.

It had been a while since Gail had been anywhere with anyone. She had been to the lake multiple times - that's where she goes when she is thinking or feeling a bit down, after all - but rarely during the day and never with anyone else. It was going to be a new experience, and she felt good about it.

Levi shrugged in response and smiled when she began walking off "I never said it was, I was just making a joke and you're welcome" he said as he continued to walk again, catching up to her "I don't mind stopping you from falling or helping when you do." He said, glancing at her for a moment as the two fell silent. He shoved his hands into his pockets and let a sigh. It didn't take a genius to notice her behavior so even someone as clueless about how people feel as Levi could pick it up somewhat, he just couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was. "Am I bothering you?" He asked as his brows furrowed ever so slightly, it was probably the most serious he had looked throughout all the time they had been hanging out. He had an accidental habit of bothering people, which normally he didn't care all that much about but, the thought that maybe he had done so to Seiko concerned him, more than he'd care to admit honestly.

Elliot had been watching the memory since, no longer looking to Seria as he couldn't really tell what her opinion was on any of this nor her reaction, he guessed even when watching her memories she was going to keep mostly straight faced throughout. It was only when he heard Seria's voice that he looked back over at her, snapping out of his own thoughts. "O-Oh. Uhm...Yes?" He replied somewhat awkwardly, not sure if saying yes was rude or not, or even if it was the right thing to say for that matter. After answering he walked towards the door as well.

"O-Of course not. I like being around you." She said. ""Jeez just forget about it." She said face obviously red and glowing as they continued to walk to her dorm until she took a wrong turn and they were lost. She looked around and looked at her map. "I don't know where we are." She said.

Roman didn't say much at this point, mainly because all he could do now was listen to what Masahi had planned. After hearing the two plans, Roman gave it some thought. He was all for using his resources, but the school would be a dangerous place to try and capture CROSS operatives. They could be there in groups, and though Roman and Masahi would be able to take them, there's no telling what they'd run into, and it'd put other children at risks, even his own... Roman couldn't do that, but the chance of there being members of CROSS still put them in danger. Rubbing his chin in thought, Roman looked at Masahi. "If we go to the school, we could enlist the help of the principal, but that could put us in the crosshairs of CROSS... They may have ears and eyes all over. So I say, if we go to the school, we handle things from the shadows. Maybe we could hit a base of theirs. Get some information. I doubt they'd know who it was. You can just pop on your mask and I can always just figure out something for myself... Then again, I'm known to drop in and stop the masked man."

Roman sighed and rubbed his head in thought. "This is your plan. Mind to elaborate before AI try and come up with more innovations to it?"

~Masahi Takamasa~

Masahi though on what Roman had to say in return to his plan. Although he didn't like involving normal people in his work, the school was filled with the now dubbed 'supers.' So even if CROSS lashed out against him and Roman, it's not like the students would have no way to stay out of the crossfire. That being said, before they even did that, a web had to be set up to catch any information that could be acquired. Then there was the problem of having Roman associated the masked man, after all, Masahi had made his intangibility just about a trademark of his fighting style, that, and his one hole masks. As Masahi worked the answers out in his head, he looked to Roman. "Well, regardless of which path we choose, it would probably be best to scout our locations first, maybe have you hide away some clones while I deploy vase zetsu's. We want to know how and when they communicate when we strike. As for me, I have a new loadout I've been meaning to try. Teleporters aren't that rare, so I should still be able to get away with that, and I have a new mask, unlike my others, so that should work."

Masahi looked at the window before walking towards the door to Roman's office. "For now, how about you show me around that school, so we can plant some bugs?"

Laurel walked into the school. She obtained her pass and continued on her way to the gym. On her way she turned a corner and ran into someone who was walking slower than her. "Oh, uh, my bad," she mumbled under her breath.

"Okay, see ya." With a nod, Hagane let Andromeda on her way. Watching her walk away, Ikari seemed to think long and hard about what the girl said. She says she was just effectively socially awkward, but she could sense more to it than that. Demons almost had a sense for things like this. Besides, if there was one thing Ikari was good at, it was lying using only the truth. Telling half of one story to paint another, and this girl was definitely no artist - at least, compared to a demon.

Her line of thoughts was interrupted as she felt a hefty punch strike her arm. Well, hefty to a human, that is - it was barely a sting against a being with tough skin and unnatural strength, but even a sting could cause pain. "Ow. What was that for?" With a scowl, Hagane shot daggers at her. "You know why. How could I make friends in this place if you keep scaring them all away?" At first, it almost seemed like Ikari was going to laugh it back in his face, but suddenly stopped. "Ugh...Sorry. I'm a demon - this is what we do. Besides, even you must admit there's something not right about that girl..." Hagane just coughed as she spoke, in a rude and harsh manner. He clearly wasn't happy with the demon. "So? There's something wrong about me - I punch fire and have a demon piggybacking off of my body. 'Wrong' is why we're here, Ikari. Please remember that - I don't want to die alone." With a hurt face, Ikari looked to the side and muttered softly under her breath, so subtly that even Hagane, right in front of her, didn't hear her. Or, at least, didn't act like she did.

"You'll never die alone..."

The mood was fairly sour on the way to the gym. Ikari knew that she had gone too far this time - an unfortunate side effect of demonic origins. It became difficult to judge when to stop doing bad things, since demons are designed to forever do bad things. Hagane was annoyed - he knew that this sort of thing was to be expected, and he sort of accepted it, but it did annoy him sometimes. It was his first year, and he didn't want to scare off everyone and be left with no friends. That would be no fun.

That is, until Ikari grunted in surprise as another girl carelessly bumped into her. Standing to her full height, of seven foot, she looked down as the female. "Watch it, please." Hagane just sighed, and said nothing.

Rini had flashed the small girl a smile as she excitedly began to tidy away her toys watching her for a moment before going back to what she was doing. She was thankful that Chiharu wasn't that fussy of a child, not all of her behavior was good, the mess being an example but most of those things were done by here purely out of innocence and not knowing any better, she was only 5 years old after all.

By the time Chiharu had done what was asked of her and tidied everything up. Rini was already well over half way through preparing the meal of vegetable curry that she had decided to prepare for Misafune. Looking away from her task she watched Chiharu bounce up next to her and exclaim that she was finished with her chores. "Oh, really?" She asked as she looked over to the living room. Well it was certainly cleaner, not pristine but it wasn't like she was expecting that from a 5 year old she only wished for her to clean her toys up. She looked to Chiharu smiling brightly "Well done!~" she answered, sounding proud of the girl as she clapped her hands together. She looked over Chiharu, noticing the cereal still on her face and hair she giggled a little, kneeling down to Chiharu's level. Luckily cereal was a dry food so it was only a matter of wiping it off, which using her sleeve she proceeded to do. "There! now we look a bit tidier too~" she said, tilting her head and smiling.

She let Chiharu help out with packing away the food neatly into containers once it was finished, wanting her to feel like she helped prepare the meal also and so she wouldn't get bored. Rini had quietly hoped Chiharu wouldn't mess her clothes doing so as that would be yet again another change of clothes. She was only beginning to realize how much/often kids mess themselves, though thinking back on her own childhood she was just the same. Luckily that didn't happen meaning they could immediately set off to see Misafune after packing the food, which Chiharu was practically bouncing about, after all she did sing about seeing her Papa for almost the whole entirety of her time cleaning earlier. Finally leaving the dorms and arriving at the infirmary, she remembered the woman telling her she'd leave the side door open for her which she used, leading Chiharu by the hand down the corners until they had both reached Misafune's room. Stopping at the doorway she knocked her hand against the doorway a few times before entering the room "I brought the food" Rini spoke with a smile, holding up a nicely packed box that had been placed in a bag. "And someone who is very excited to see you too!" She added with a giggle as she let go of Chiharu's hand, as no doubt she was probably going to dash in his direction. "How are you feeling?" She asked, knowing that They had probably healed him up to a certain extent.

-------------------------

She had continued to look away after her answer, not knowing what his reaction would be or if he would even believe her, she was contemplating apologising for her ridiculous behavior and walking off but that thought was quickly thrown away when she felt both her hands being grabbed and squeezed ever so slightly but it was certainly enough to get her gaze to snap back in Kansuke's direction, first at his hands which were still holding hers then staring directly at his face with widened eyes as he spoke, telling her that what she said was okay and that he infact, was getting an odd feeling from being in her presence in a similar way she was with him. She had simply nodded at this, glad that was the case, though it seemed he just had the feelings of familiarity but no memories to accompany them like she had. It was the rest of his speech that had really caught her attention however talking about how he wished to protect her and offering her a smile so familiar that it felt surreal, she had seen it so many times before, even if the memories were still vague in parts. His words were oddly comforting to her, the metaphorical weight lifted off her shoulders making her look and feel more relaxed to the point were her eyes had softened too. She watched him suddenly pull his hands away and nervously apologise for his words. Blinking a few times she shook her head and smiled warmly "It's quite alright" she responded, fixing her hair behind her pointed ear "I appreciate your words, Kansuke" she added after, she stopped mid movement, lowering her arm again "Though. I'm afraid, where I will need to go, is back home and I do need you to come with me if I do, so my visions tell me" she said as she clasped her hands infront of her gently "I'm not sure how much more I can tell you just yet as I cannot choose what I see...but from what I have seen I fear for our home, something terrible is about to happen I think what I've seen is trying to tell us both that..." She explained, her gaze beginning to drift off again, only occasionally looking back to check on his reaction. Hesitantly biting her lip she spoke again "I-I do not wish to overwhelm you, I'm sorry" she added, she felt that maybe (oh most definitely in her opinion) she had done so with all this but how else was she supposed to ask for his assistance on this?

CHIHARU

To hear that she was going to see her Papa was the most exciting news that she had heard all day. Most days were spent alone, in the infirmary or most recently in Rini's dorm, so it was always nice to go out and do things, or especially getting to see people that she liked. In this way, she was more than happy to do her chores... albeit haphazardly, as she wasn't really sure the most efficient way to actually clean something up, but if it meant getting to see her Papa, Chiharu was excited about it. It seemed Rini was happy with the results, and the small girl smiled at the praise she was given. Making her Mama angry wasn't something she had ever done, and it wasn't something she ever wanted to do. Not that Rini was one to really ever get angry, but that was information Chiharu didn't want to exactly test. She wouldn't get anyone angry on purpose if she could help it. Once cleaning was done, that meant that cooking was next. This was something Chiharu had even less experience with. It was more like Rini did the cooking and all that was left to do was pack it away so they could take it with them to go see Misafune, but Chiharu didn't know the difference. It was a part of the cooking process, so it might as well have been cooking itself. Rini was correct in hoping that it would make Chiharu feel like she was contributing, and it definitely staved off any potential boredom that would lead to further messes. A mess was the last thing that they could have wanted or needed. Her lack of coordination lead to a few almost-mishaps, but thankfully nothing bad happened, and the food was nicely packed away and ready to be transported with them on the way to the infirmary. All that was left was to actually make the trek to the infirmary, and so they did, with the older girl making sure to keep a nice and tight grip on the younger the entirety of the way. No more getting lost in cities and getting stuck on skyscrapers. Chiharu was nearly bursting with excited energy as they made their way into the room, and the moment that Rini let go of her hand she was running over to where Misafune was, not really aware of his current physical condition. All she knew is that she was reunited with Misafune, and that was all she really cared about.

KANSUKE

Kansuke still couldn't place why seeing Mizuki's discomfort bothered him so much. It was baffling really, and almost annoying. It was like it was pulling from some deep part of him, some part that he knew was a part of him but never really bothered to look at. He did notice Mizuki's reactions to his words, gods he seemed to have some kind of hyper-focus on every little thing she seemed to do or say or the way she acted or reacted. It was strange, but if it meant that he could better help her in whatever she needed to do, then that was fine by him. He was definitely glad to hear that his own actions were alright and not off-putting. In truth he really wasn't sure exactly what he was doing, it was just whatever felt natural, if he had to take a wild guess. She seemed a bit apprehensive, or worried rather as her words continued, explaining her feelings about what she thought the visions meant. Having to go home, the two of them together. How she wasn't sure exactly what it was, but it was something terrible, and it was going to happen to their homeland. From what it seemed, Mizuki seemed to think that the visions were a forewarning for her (or them, depending on the perspective), that these were things to come and that they could be stopped. Apparently, she thought, by the two of them. Kansuke wasn't consciously aware of this, but saving his homeland was nothing new to him - all the past lives he had lived as the embodiment of courage all told a similar tale. A world in danger, a boy clad in green, and a blonde princess mixed up in the middle. And it seemed the same thing was happening to them. Her biting of her lip told Kansuke that she was nervous, afraid that this information would be too much for him. That he wouldn't want to help, even after he reassured her that he would stay by her side through all of it. Kansuke's blue eyes narrowed, his expression changing from a bashful one to more serious. "It's not a problem. Mizuki, if this is all true, then we need to act fast. I don't know how visions work or anything like that, but I would guess there are two potentials here: it could be visions of the future, and if that's the case I doubt you'd be given visions of a very distant future, so it, like you said, is going to happen soon; or it's happening right now, as we're standing here talking. Either way, that means we need to move fast. We need to grab what we need to travel with and head home as soon as possible. If we're really from the same place, then you know as well as I how far away our homeland is from here. So we don't have much time to waste." Kansuke paused, taking a breath. He didn't expect all those words to come out like they did, normally he wasn't as talkative as this. "And, it's entirely possible that you might get more visions along the way, sending us on occasional "side quests", if you will, causing us to take even longer to get home." With a nod, he glanced in the direction of the dorms. "Let's meet up under the tree in the courtyard when we're done grabbing our things, and then we can get on our way, okay?" Kansuke flashed a smile before running off toward his own dorm to get his things, which thinking about it didn't really include much. He was filled with a lot more worry than he was when he woke up, but it was important, so it was worth it.

At least along those terms that is,
KANON AND YUMI

Getting a call from Han was the last thing that Yumi expected today. Every other year on this day felt really empty. Kanon always sulking by herself, and of course no word from their brother. Heck even their dad seemed to have gone missing in the last five years or so. Speaking of, when was the last time anybody had seen him? Not that it really mattered at the moment, since Han was actually speaking to her on the phone at the moment. She listened to Han's words, carefully making a note of what he was saying. Seemed like they worked things out, which was good. It seemed Han was determined to make a change in his life, which meant being more involved in hers and Kanon's. Which was also good. "R-right, I'm walking to the dorms right now, so it won't be long until I'm there." She spoke, looking around in case she happened to see her siblings. "I'll make sure she's comfortable, I don't like using my powers on her but maybe it'll be a good thing, this time around. Uh, we can leave Achilles out it this time... I definitely think family time is in order." Her voice gained a bit of a stern tone as she finished, hoping that the whole ordeal with Kanon would actually stick with Han this time. If it didn't... she didn't think Kanon would ever be able to recover from it. It was strange, thinking of her sister sometimes. Simultaneously the strongest and most fragile person she knew. "I'll be looking forward to dinner tonight. See you soon." Yumi hung up the phone, nearly running toward the dorms at this point. Things seemed to be looking up for them finally.

Kanon was still sniffling away the tears from earlier, so Han's whispering did the trick in concealing plans for the night. All she knew was that she was hugging on to Han, and at the moment that's really all she cared to know about. She didn't pay too much attention to the phone call, but from what she could tell, h was talking to Yumi. Yumi... yeah. Kanon would have to thank her for being so patient with her. She hadn't told her everything about what happened to her, she definitely wasn't ready for that, but she owed it to Yumi to at least be honest that something happened, and to actually formally apologize for not being normal as of late. Yumi was the most patient and kind person that Kanon knew, she definitely deserved to be shown that. Though, part of what Han said did pique her attention a bit. It seemed like he was planning on dropping her off at the dorms and leaving. Instinctively, her grip around Han tightened. though her lack of words didn't reflect exactly why. Logic told her that he had stuff to do today that couldn't be rescheduled, so he had to do it. But emotions were running high today, so her mind immediately jumped to the worst-case scenario that he was abandoning her again. As they walked, she kept the grip, honestly enjoying the comforting of his free arm and not wanting to let go yet.

ASTRID

It was like every missing piece in her life was finally falling into place. She confessed how she truly felt for the first time in her life to somebody that she felt completed her, and he happened to feel exactly the same. They shared a mutual love and shared a bond that would most likely withstand any hardship and obstacle that could possibly be thrown at it. Now they were sharing their first kiss, and it was like the world stopped around them. All that existed was her and Alejandro, here in this one moment and their love for each other. If she could, she wouldn't want it to end. But as all things do, their kiss separated, and they were left looking at each other. Honestly, Astrid was at a loss for words, scared she might say the wrong thing and mess it all up. But she didn't have to do anything, as it was actually Alejandro who started getting emotional. He was crying, for what was probably the first time in his life, all because of her. Astrid couldn't help but feel a little conflicted at the sight, feeling both happy and sad that he was crying over her. Granted, she did the same thing for him, but that was beside the point. He seemed to have more he wanted to tell her, and she listened with an open ear. Just like her, he seemed to have a hard time with being vulnerable in any way, so she was willing to take on whatever emotions he was burdening himself with. He seemed to be afraid or ashamed of how he was feeling, which saddened her. Seeing him like this was tough, but it was worth it for him. After all was said and done, he leaned forward into her chest, needing some comfort of his own. Men don't always have be strong all the time, though she was sure Alejandro didn't share that viewpoint. The redhead reached her hands up and around Alejandro, hugging him tightly to her. She would take on all of these emotions for him. Be strong for him. That's what being a partner meant. "From now on, it's not me or you. It's me and you. I'll stand by your side, and always be there for you. Gods be damned I'll protect you with all I've got. I love you too, Alejandro. I'll always love you. From now, until the ends of our days. Through thick and thin. Sick and health. All of it. I promise you." Astrid steeled her gaze and her words, marking them as a promise to him and to herself. Her personal code that she would follow even if it was the end of her. This moment was the most important moment in her life, and she would do what she could to protect it. Her eyes closed and she rested her face against Alejandro's soft black hair, noting how warm he was against her. She enjoyed this, and was looking forward to their days together that were sure to come.

Ren chuckled when Gail told him that she has seen most of what the world has to offer. He kind of figured that. All of he could think of now was what she hasn't seen... He assumed that list would be short. Ren tossed the thought and simply nodded in response to Gail. There destination being the lake now. He hadn't been there in a few months, so he wasn't sure what it looked like. Hopefully it wasn't poll
uted or trashed. It was such a nice place after all.

As the two of them went along, Ren finally decided to say something, "Say... Is there anything you've ever felt that you need to get off your chest, but can't?" He asked, quickly adding on to it after, "Like... Something to say? It just lingers in the back of your mind, but you don't know how to say it, or even bring yourself to say it." Ren said, sighing lightly. He had a few things he's wanted to say for quite the while now, but just as he said, he can't bring himself to say it, nor does he know how to say it... Yeah, even with the way he is now, he still has fears. Surprisingly. It was the human in him though. Who he truly was. "It just dawned on me... Y'know?"

The door opened and they appeared somewhere divine. It looked like a temple. The Goddess sat down upon her sphere that was positioned above some steps. Seria, in the memory, walked up towards her while sheathing her blade on her back. She looked up, her eyes still a golden yellow. "So, how am I to 'better' thyself, Natsumi?" The Goddess chuckled softly. "It's so refreshing to be called by a name rather than a title. Very well, Seria, I suggest you rest first. Have some time to refresh and let the stress drain away. There's the baths over there. Clean yourself from the smell and spills of blood. It's not a very good way to present yourself to other divinities." Natsumi then pointed towards a door that lead outside to the baths. It looked as if someone was there already. A pink haired girl with cat ears and a tail. Seria then started to walk towards the baths and begun to undress. Immediately, Seria covered Elliot's eyes just to prevent him from seeing her naked. Once the memory of Seria was in the water, she uncovered his eyes. The memory of Seria's clothes had disappeared along with the sword. She began washing off the blood off from her hair rather slowly, watching as the blood leaked into the water and disappeared later. Then, the pink haired girl went over to Seria and begun to help her wash off. Seria looked at her in a bit of caution. "Who are you?" The pink haired girl soon replied, smiling. "I'm the Goddess Seria. Nice to meet you."
Elliot didn't question why Seria was covering his eyes, hearing the word bath was enough to go on while guessing why she would do it. Of course he wouldn't look nor was he planning on it but after all she hadn't known him for very long so she didn't know he wasn't the type to do something like that obviously. After Seria removed her hands from his eyes so it was safe to look his gaze had moved to view the girl with the ears and tail. "Wait, she's Seria too? That's confusing" he mumbled as he watched the memory.

"Hmm... I remember that Goddess. I feel like there was more between us, her and I. But I've forgotten them. (That and it's also one of Aria's characters)" Seria said as the memory continued. It continued on as the two with like names conversing. They were in the bath long enough that if they were where humans would roam, their skin would wrinkle. However, their skin did not wrinkle here. It may be they are in another realm? Dimension? World? Or is it heaven? Or possibly, Elysion? Of course it didn't matter much. After awhile, the memory of Seria began to revert to her normal self. Black hair, red eyes, and her emotions coming back to her. (Sorry I couldn't think of much. Stress of school shit and other issues with another)

"O-Of course not. I like being around you." She said. ""Jeez just forget about it." She said face obviously red and glowing as they continued to walk to her dorm until she took a wrong turn and they were lost. She looked around and looked at her map. "I don't know where we are." She said.
Levi blinked a few times when she answered "Alright. I was just asking..." He said slowly "It was just because your face is going pretty red, thought you were angry or something..." He said as she had turned a corner. Levi wasn't really paying much attention nor did he know which dorm Seiko's was so he hadn't even noticed they were lost until she said "Oh...you forget which dorm is yours?" He said glancing over at her.

CELAENA
This day had most definitely been a whirlwind. It really hadn't been very long since she had arrived from Fae, and not only had she made a new friend and been introduced to some of the... less nature-aligned aspects of the world, she had been reunited with her love (though he still seemed to harbor some understandable doubts). It was almost too much to bear at the moment, but she would stick it out. She had to. If she didn't, and just gave up after a few hardships, what would it all have been for? She wouldn't be able to face Ayen right now if she just threw in the towel. No, she was determined. Celaena was alive, damnit, and was going to do whatever she could with the second chance that she had. Hearing Ayen's words gave her a little bit of ease, though not much.

And it didn't matter anyways. Because something strange had happened. It really didn't take much for Ayen to move and check out the matter, and like he always did he had told her to stay behind. Obviously she was grateful that he seemed to be concerned with her well-being in the moment, but that's not what mattered right now. It was whoever had crash landed that was the topic of importance, so that's where she was going to set her focus. Focusing a bit of her power, she decided to follow Ayen against his words, needing to check out the scene for herself. She couldn't just stand by and not do anything, it wasn't in her to not be of use like this. It was a bit wonky trying to get herself down, as her use of her powers was rusty, and that was a generous statement. But somehow she managed to make it to the ground, though she nearly tripped and fell as her feet hit the crater near Ayen. Once her footing was more secure, she ran to where Ayen was now kneeling next to an unconscious man. A strange man, one that she could see right in front of her, but not sense. She'd have to look into it later. "What has happened to him?" she asked, her eyes looking over him to see if she could pinpoint any cause of his current state.

Ayen

Just when Ayen was going to take Celaena away to figure out what happened, that man had come crashing out of the sky. The man was worn by battle and unconsious, yet even still Ayen couldn't get a read on him. While it wasn't the best idea, Ayen picked up the man and placed him over his shoulder. "Well, he seems to have had a bad day, so for now I'll take him bad to my house and treat him. Follow me if you would?" Ayen talked in a matter of fact attitude that he had grown accustum to during a span of a hundred years when hehad served as the sole knowledgeable doctor in an area. As Ayen stood, he looked at Celaena and motioned his head as if to say 'this way' before he started walking. If it truly was his Celaena, which is what he had taken to believing, then it would have been countless lifetimes since they had walked like this; before there was even dirt on earth. But between the time difference in the Fae and Celaena being stagnated inside the crystal, would it have seemed like only days to her? Not to mention the trees in the Fae made even the largest one it this forest seem like messly twigs, it seemed pitiful to the point Ayen laughed as he walked. "You know, I use to wish for smaller trees so I could have a safer place to nap, but these trees barely have room to nap on!" It was senseless banter, but what did it matter? It was at least something to start upon.

Roman listened to what Masahi had to say. It made sense to him, and well at this point, he had Roman fully on board with the idea. If this CROSS group was as dangerous as he made them seen, not only was his family and Kaori in danger, but students, Masahi's own family, and more. Roman was all for making his family's name look good, especially when the public was riding their asses about nothing. Sighing lightly, Roman propped his head up on his hand and looked at Masahi. "Okay... But my clones can be a bit obvious. I have a student who's apart of my family in the school who would make the perfect spy. I could see if she'd be willing to help us get some information from the inside, that way I can dispatch clones, but not as many as I would have without her. But I don't wanna put her in harms way, so there's a high chance I'll have to take the clones." Roman said, remaining in his current position, even as Masahi walked to the door, waiting for Roman to follow suit.

Standing up, Roman groaned a bit, "I'm gonna assume I have no choice but to go." He said, chuckling a bit. Roman walked over to Masahi, and patted his shoulder. "Well, lets get a move on. At this time, classes are over, that being said we can get onto campus easy. I'll take us." Roman said, using Kamui on both himself and Masahi, taking them to the front gates of FHS... Or what was now Euphorian Highschool.

Han smiled, his little sister was a smart girl. Even if he wasn't there for them, there was this since of profoundness he felt towards them. It allowed him to say; yeah those are my sisters. With pure joy. As he walked towards the dorm with Kanon still around his waist, he said his goodbyes to Yumi before hanging up. She sounded happy that he was going to be making a full return into their lives... He was happy to be making his return. That still left the matter of their father's disappearance. Just thinking about it kind of upset him. The girl's dorm soon came into sight and so did Yumi. Han slowly started to speed up his pace, walking a bit faster now. he wanted to be there at least at the same time, or just as Yumi was going inside so he could catch her. As he neared the dorms, Han came to a stop in front of them and decided to wait for Yumi outside. Kanon showed no signs of letting him go, so he wasn't going to bother her until he had got her inside the dorm and he had to go. "Yumi should be here any minute now. Don't make me wait too long little sis..."

CELAENA

Celaena still wasn't used to this world, so even though she ran to the impact site of the crater, she still made sure to keep at least an arm's length away from what was happening. She didn't know what Earth was like, having only been familiar with Fae, so she wasn't sure if this was a normal thing that happened or not. Looking at his worn condition, she guessed that wasn't the case, but she couldn't be too sure. Maybe once they got him to a safer place she could be of more assistance but for now... she was going to let Ayen handle this one. Obviously he seemed to have grown stronger since the last time she saw him, considering how easily he was able to just pick this guy up and hoist him over his shoulder. It was kind of nice to see even a smidge of Ayen's growth, though she couldn't help but compare it to her own lack of it. It wasn't her fault, of course, but it wasn't hard to slip into that line of thinking. Hearing Ayen's request, she nodded in response, making sure to follow close behind. "Right. Maybe at your house I can be of more use." she laughed softly to herself, not entirely sure why it was she was laughing. Did she not believe in her own abilities? She always had a flair for a few healing abilities, so why the self doubt? Questions to be answered later. Celaena walked behind Ayen, making sure not to stray too far. She was still a little out of it from the trip here, so she was a bit afraid she might get lost if she didn't keep up with Ayen. His laugh did take her by surprise, though his words that followed did make sense. She donned a small smile and shrugged a bit, looking off to the side at the trees surrounding them as she expressed her own feelings. "Yes, I do suppose that is true. Though, it is nice to see that there is some familiarity between this place and home. It makes me feel at least a bit more at ease." Her amethyst eyes looked back at Ayen before she continued. "You really did enjoy taking naps in trees, did you not? I remember once finding you asleep and half-hanging off of one, and when I decided to surprise you, you were so surprised that you actually fell off the branches! Your coordination was not always the best back then." Celaena laughed, a small blush of nostalgia reddening her cheeks. It really had been far too long since they were able to talk like this, and it was really quite nice.

It didn't take long for Yumi to reach the dorms from where she was. The dorms were built to be close to school, and she was already halfway there when she got the call from Han, so now that she was running from excitement, it really did take her no time at all to actually get to the dorm building. As she approached, she noticed that Han was already at the front, with Kanon seeming to be latched around his waist. Yeah, looks like they had made up after all. That was a good sign. Smiling, Yumi waved her arms as she ran forward, calling out to the two of them. "Big brother!! Kanon!!" her voice was happier than it had been in a while, probably because it had been a while since she was able to call out to both of her siblings in the same breath, and in a positive light. She wasn't even thinking of their father at the moment... trying to focus on the positives lately. She slowed her steps in front of them, taking a moment to catch her breath. She wasn't the most athletically inclined, so she wasn't currently in the best shape. Running left her a bit out of breath. "You weren't too far away were you?" She smiled up excitedly at Han before softening her gaze and looking at Kanon. "Hey sis, how you doing?" Kanon didn't really answer, mainly still just sniffling from her crying earlier. Hearing that, Yumi nodded, before looking at Han. "Glad to see you two not at each other's throats. It's... been a while since we've been able to say that, hasn't it?" She laughed, her voice a mix of nervousness and sadness. As wonderful as their newfound positive relationship was, it was still new, and she was a bit awkward. Though she was just glad she had her big brother back in her life.

Alejandro didn't think much about anything else at that point. After everything that had happened, from watching Astrid be beat in battle, along with himself and Hyou, to this moment now... This moment right here was all he could put his mind on. It was as if someone turned the page in a book, and the next chapter was beginning. He didn't know what to expect, but it was going to be nothing short of amazing now that he had Astrid to be with him every step of the way. He smiled a bit as he rested his head on her chest and managed to stop crying, finding comfort in being with her. Soon he was able to hear her voice, which almost sounded like some sort of calming melody. It was soothing almost. When she finished talking and rested her head on his, he couldn't keep himself from kissing her again. He slowly looked up, and as he did, he gently raised her head up from his and simply smiled a bit before leaning in and kissing Astrid for a few seconds. Once he pulled away again, he rubbed the back of his head, smiling a bit. "I just couldn't help it." He chuckled a bit.

This was his first relationship... And hopefully his only. Sighing quietly, he stood up and dusted himself off. "I could sit here forever with you... This moment has really been a highlight in my life. One of the best. Thanks Astrid. You've completed a broken man... And for that, I'd never be able to repay you enough. Growing up with what I have sort of makes you empty... You have everything, but there's just that one thing missing from it, and that's genuine love. Something I didn't get from all the material things I've wanted. It's not something I could get from my parents, but from you I can get the warmth and intimacy I've so blindly craved. Not knowing what it was... Well I guess I had to figure it out, and with your help, I was able to. I can't wait to see where it takes us in the future." He said, looking to her with a smile. "It's getting pretty dark... Wanna head back to campus? I'll fly you there..."

Hopefully it wasn't polluted or trashed.

Y'know?"

Gail floated next to Ren as he walked towards the general direction of the lake. In truth, she was perfectly tangible - she could've walked if she wished. She just enjoyed floating - so much so, in fact, she couldn't remember the last time her feet touched the ground and walked her like most other people. Perhaps six centuries of death had made her lazy.

Gently moving on at a leisurely pace, Gail was looking around at the general scene - of the different buildings in the city, the people, and the general hustle. Gail had never really experienced the pressures of life, and the constant need for deadlines and timetables. Gail wasn't used to it all, being dead, and found it amazing how quickly the world moves when she wasn't moving to keep it. Perhaps her six centuries of nothing, barely doing anything compared to the different students, workers and businessmen around her is why she found her schoolwork so difficult. Now she has to get up to speed if she wishes to keep herself relevant. Still, she enjoyed it. She enjoyed the different pace her school provided her.

Smiling to herself, Gail found her suddenly flung back to her current situation as Ren said something to her. Listening to him speak, unsure of where this sudden question came from, Gail just shrugged and replied in her usual melodious, ethereal voice. "Erm...not really. If I have something I need to say, I just say it. It does no one any good hiding secrets from anyone - especially good friends. Trust me, I've been around long enough to know that those sort of things just eat you up, and ruin you. I've seen too many people who've lost love and friends simply because they weren't able to say what they were truly feeling...although, I can understand why people bottle up things like the thoughts in the back of the mind. It can be hard to say them out loud, because it worries us how others will think of them for saying it." Gail says, turning her head to the side so she could look Ren in the eyes. Her expression was calm, yet it had a pinch of worry in it - it worried her why Ren was saying these things. "Although, it does make it easier to say when you are saying them to a friend. Why do you ask? Do you have something you need to say?"

Gail stops moving, and now moves her body so that she is facing him. "You can say things to me, you know. I'm your friend, and I won't be any less of a friend to you if you feel like you need to have an ear to speak to." Speaking with utmost honesty, Gail's eyes light up as she grabs Ren's hands carefully. This time, she appears more like a friend trying to console an upset companion than anything else.

"You're heading to the gym?" She asked in desperation, not wanting to offend them. She caught up with them. "If so, I am, too. What are your names?"
(sorry for the one-liner, once we get going it will be longer.)

"You're heading to the gym?" She asked in desperation, not wanting to offend them. She caught up with them. "If so, I am, too. What are your names?"
(sorry for the one-liner, once we get going it will be longer.)

The sudden line of questioning was a shock to both of them - the demon and boy alike. Usually, most people would just apologize and leave it at that - not ask unrelated, out of the blue questions like this new girl did.

Ikari did not like the girl. She looked more like someone who had came out of jail than someone trying to work for an education. As Hagane was about to speak, presumably to reply, he felt an arm hit his chest. Speaking telepathically to him, with little more than a shared looked between them on their faces, Ikari spoke to Hagane's mind. "Yeah, no, this girl is not someone you can blame me for wanting to force away, right?" With a subtle nod from Hagane, Ikari smiled wickedly, as her mind began to fill with devilish thoughts. Imagine if it was Hagane who had bumped into her, after all, and began asking those questions? Questions that, frankly, made her sound like a bit of a stalker.

"Erm...excuse me? Do we...do we know you? I don't think we've ever met before." Honestly, he wanted to keep it that way, from the way the girl was presenting herself. Meanwhile, Ikari looked down at the girl with her third eye glowing, and the faintest of faint purple sparks leaping from her fingers as she flexed them.

--Misafune--

The ladies entered the room, and he was beginning to stabilize his magic flow. However the rapid aging and touching more power than he could manage at the time, left the air around him charged with energy. But his girl..girlfriend showing up with Chi-chan had made him feel even better. "Hello, Chiharu, Rini!" he said with a smile as his body ached all over, but it was not exactly as painful as it could be. He very much wanted to see the girls again, especially his girlfriend. "Something smells good." he noted aloud as he sat up fully in the bed and pulled the blanket away to let them sit down on the mattress together. "So tell me, Rini, should we go out friday night?" he asked as he looked at them warmly.
