Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Elliot just stared at the Seria from the memory, only occasionally glancing over at the actual Seria now. He had nothing to say about what was going on. Not out of shock as her behavior was no longer shocking him after the memory showing her rage for quite some time. He simply didn't know what to say in response to any of this. He was human and a young human at that, so there was a lot here for him to process. He just guessed it was at least starting to turn positive since this goddess was trying to help, maybe this memory wasn't going to end too badly after all?
The Eater and the Goddess began to fight. At first, Natsumi was more powerful but later on, their powers began to match to an equal. After dozens of minutes of fighting, Seria was finally tired. She took a knee and stabbed her blade in the ground, panting as she looked up at the Goddess, her eyes still fuming with rage. "Why didn't you save them?! Why?!" Seria asked as tears ran down her cheeks. Natsumi shook her head before she walked over to Seria and patted her head. "A Goddess such as myself, cannot touch what happens here on Earth. Even though I say it and where am I now? Please, come with me before your soul is dragged to the pits of Hell." The memory took awhile before Seria grabbed Natsumi's shoulder hastily, knowing what she had done was unforgiving and she heavily regretted it. Natsumi only smiled before a flash of light appeared and they disappeared, allowing a door to appear for the actual Seria and Elliot. She walked towards the door and looked back at Elliot. "It was a good ending, right?" She asked sort of casually. Somehow she sort of knew things were still gonna turn out bad.

Ren chuckled, giving Gail's hand a gentle squeeze. He didn't know what to say. A few responses jumbled around in his head, and with a smile, he looked at her. He slowly opened his mouth and began to speak, "If I were to die, don't let it be something that takes a toll on you. My life as a living being will be long and prosperous if I play my cards right... And so that's been the case. I've met manu good people, some even beyond great, and I've made nothing but good choices so far. If I were to die, then it was by natural causes and before that happens, I'll make sure to do something that would leave my mark for you to remember me by. Something to let you know that even when I'm not there... I'm there." Ren sighed quietly, having said all that, he could only think of how much of a good friend he's made. "In other words... That's I a promise I can't keep. But I can promise you that my dedication to my friends and loyalty to you and the rest will never fade or wither. It'll only grow and and grow."

He meant every word. Ren would never turn his back on her, and even after death, he'd be there for her. Ren had many friends, but none like Gail. She stood out, and that's what made her an interesting one to him. He felt as if he would never understand why, but it didn't bother him. As long as she remained his friend, he'd be happy.. Then again, in a way she was a source of happiness for him.

Gail almost shuddered as Ren squeezed her hand. Not from cold or fear, but simply because she was not expecting it. It has been centuries since anyone had done anything like it, so it was quite sudden. Waiting for Ren to reply, as he thought about the answer to tell her, Gail looked at him with a gentle expression - an expression that clearly showed that regardless of his answer, she would listen and accept. A look that didn't show malice, expectation or even wants and needs. She was simply there, waiting for his response.

Of course, this was just a mask. In truth, Gail was yearning for his answer - even if it was bad, at least she would have closure. Each second an eternity, Gail waited with silent torture before Ren gave his answer. Gail was somewhat...well, she didn't truly know what to call the emotion she was experiencing. She wasn't disappointed in him - at the end of the day, he was right. If he died, even as a god, then there would be nothing anyone could do to stop it. Fate, as they call it. She wasn't angry, either - she could never be angry at him. Ren has been one of the truest friends she had ever met, and her soul be damned if she'd let something as silly as her insecurities break that friendship.

Sorrow, perhaps? Gail wasn't sad because Ren couldn't promise her that he'd never die, but sad that she realized that there was a high chance that she may outlive even him - a god. A thought of terror briefly flashed across her mind, as she realized that her curse may cause her to outlive...well, everybody, but she hid it well like a thief hides his plunder. In some ways, Gail's face was a vault - only letting out what she wants to let out, but never truly showing her full trove of emotions.

Still, one thing resounded in her mind. Ren's last sentence to her, saying that his friendship to her would only strengthen, despite what may happen in the future almost blew open the vault door. Ghostly drops of moisture began to form in her sapphire eyes, as Gail felt her body lunge towards Ren's. Almost involuntarily, her entire body became solid, as opposed to just her hands, as she wrapped her thin, pale arms around him in a hug. Gently whispering, partially to not upset his ears and partially to not embarrass herself by releasing her full emotion, her odd, otherworldly voice speaks up once more. "Thank you, Ren."

As sudden as it came, however, she pulled away - somewhat frantically. Looking away, as she makes herself completely intangible, small droplets of water fell through her body and hit the ground beneath her, now unobstructed by her body. Coughing gently, even though she clearly doesn't suffer from any illness (at least, not anymore) or even dust in her throat, she replies in a somewhat rushed voice - sheepish about her sudden lack of self control - as she tries to look at anywhere but Ren's eyes. "Ahem...I...er, sorry. Sorry for that."

Ren's face lit up when he was hugged by Gail. It was the happiest he had ever seen her.. or whatever emotion she was feeling right now. All he knew is that he felt comfort. A feeling you don't get too often when you could be the next potential target of whatever got to the last God of Luck. When shwe let go of him, he let out a sad little groan. "Despite being cold... You give off a pretty warming feeling, Gail. It's one of the many good traits about you." He said, smiling a bit as he took off his jacket. Ren then rolled up his sleeves and held his jacket over his shoulder. He could tell Gail was trying not to look at him and he chuckled a bit. "I'll happily take another hug if they're still up for grabs." He added, joking with his ghostly friend.

As much as Ren seemed calm right now, he really wasn't. Deep down inside, he was freaking out, but it wasn't like him to lose his cool that quickly, so he kept himself from freaking out like the nerd he was. At some point, he had stopped looking at Gail, but he then found himself with his eyes locked onto her and her smiled as he spoke once again, "Mind if we go for a walk? Sitting here the entire time is fun and all, but there's some pretty cool places around that we can take a look at while we discuss... The many things we're discussing now." Ren said, his smile remaining as he stood up and held out his covered hand to Gail. He always wore gloves, but Gail's cold hands always managed to get through them, but it didn't bother him. Especially since it was someone who he was so close to.

As Ren joked on, Gail chuckled alongside him. At least the situation wasn't as awkward as she was dreading to be. However, she didn't plan on hugging him again any time soon - not exactly the 'lady-like' behaviour she tries so very hard to maintain. Still, she did enjoy the compliment...but, she usually enjoys complements. Even if she enjoys them in secret.

Watching him stand up and offer her his hand, Gail looked up to Ren with a puzzled face. Surely he saw the futility of offering a hand to help a massless, floating being up? Or, perhaps, he was simply being nice. Gail preferred to see it as a latter, although she still smirked slightly as she took the hand. Still smirking, she simply willed herself upward, still in a seated position, as she more carried rather than let her hand be carried by Ren's hand.

Now that the morning sun had started to rise properly, Gail had started to warm up a bit. Still much cooler than most, she wasn't as cold as ice as most people assumed but more...well, cold as the dead. Which makes sense, really. But, even still, it was more of a cool than a cold. Her face lifted by the general mood between the pair, now a smile as opposed to the frown that she wore before, she nodded happily as Ren asked her out on the walk. "Yeah, alright. That'll be nice."

"Ugh...finally. Your alarm went off hours ago, by the way."

Chuckling to herself, with the usual grin that the demon woman wore, Ikari lay on the bed next to Hagane. On her front, dangling her legs upwards in the air, with her mighty wings tucked in she leant her head on her own hands as she watched the slow change from drowsiness to terror as he shot upright, nearly tilting her off the bed. Laughing, she stands up as Hagane realizes that the alarm had not in fact gone off - not because he was late, but simply because he was early. Not that early, mind you - only ten minutes or so - even still relief flew across Hagane's face as he shoots daggers at his companion for the prank. It was harmless enough, though, so it didn't really matter.

Breakfast, however, was a bit more quiet - dull, in Ikari's eyes - but Hagane was still on edge from the previous shenanigans from the demon woman. Another joke now would just be annoying, Ikari thought - besides, he'd be expecting it. They were better when Hagane didn't see them coming. After a quick plate of bacon and eggs, with a few hash browns for good measure, Hagane stretched and cracked a few of his stiff bones, as he started to dress appropriately for the shower. Meanwhile, Ikari had started brushing her teeth - surprisingly like a human's - as Hagane cleaned his body from behind the shower curtain. He grew up with Ikari, so he didn't really feel that shy around her - not like he'd let her into the shower, of course.

Around half an hour later, Hagane was fully dressed and ready for another day.

Walking down the stairs, Hagane decided to use his free morning period to go to the gym. He usually carried his gym clothes with him - even for normal lesson - so he decided 'why not'. Following close behind, watching the other students come and go from the dorm rooms, some with hangovers, some with leaden eyes void of fun and energy, some gaping at the seven foot demon following the well built, rather handsome, student. Chuckling to herself at some of them, she unfurled her long bat wings and hovered gently off of the ground - which really made the gaping students' eyes go wide.

Scarlet laughed a little when he talked about holding back from eating it all. In all honesty, so was she, but thankfully she could control herself from doing so. "I didn't know that was something you could smell, but you're right" She said, smiling. As far as she knew, the syrup was the last thing they needed that was stopping them from eating the food they had just made, and considering they were putting it on their pancakes right now, they were free to just eat. Just in case, she looked over the food to make sure they weren't missing anything. They had the orange juice, sausage Logan had quickly prepared with his magic, pancakes, and eggs. Unless Logan wanted to wait even longer, they didn't need bacon. Scarlet didn't even think she could wait, she just wanted to eat.

Logan smirked and looked at his food once more. "Well it isn't, but I wish it was. I would definitely make use of something like that. If I ever could smell a food that was ready to be eaten, then there would be little food around this place." Logan chuckled, and then grabbed a glass of orange juice and he took a quick sip. Putting the glass down, he picked up a fork and syrup, pouring some on his pancakes and he then sat that down too. "My food is ready. I'm gonna start digging in." Logan said as he readied his fingers. With that, he grabbed his fork and began eating, enjoying every bite he took so far.

Andromeda sighed as she walked out of her apartment complex located a short distance away from the school she was attending, Euphorian High. Given the size of the school and the overall student body population it wasn't unnatural for them to have on campus boarding. But this particular dragon preferred her own space, which included the peace and quiet that comes with it. Hence why she lives in an apartment. Looking up at the sky the green haired girl sighed, hand shielding her yellow orbs from the harsh rays.

Knowing that she should be heading to school, Andy put the thought into action as she began to walk down the sidewalk. Backpack hanging off her shoulder. The dragon was clad in a simple white blouse, green skirt, black thigh high socks, and white high tops. As she walked down the pavement in the direction of campus, Andromeda adjusted her favorite hair ribbon that she adorned. Gripping the strap of her back the girl sighed to herself, "Another day, another time trying to make myself go unnoticed by everyone. per usual." Though, it was rather simple to go unnoticed in a school of that proportion. Don't raise your hand, sit in the back, keep quiet, and most of all. Don't draw any attention to yourself.

When the girl looked up from the ground she noticed that she had made it to school without even knowing it. Seeing the open gate, Andy silently walked in. Following handful of students that also lived off campus. Another sigh escaped her. Even though she had been living among other beings for a good while now, it was still rather intimidating. Glancing around Andromeda noticed the boy's dormitory something caught her eye, causing her to stop. As some of the boys came out they seemed rather, well, rather bug eyed if she had to put it plainly. The dragon was confused until she managed to catch a glimpse of something. A rather large, and frightening appearing, demon walking with a guy.

Shaking her head the girl turned away from gazing at the building to the path ahead. But due to her not having paid attention while staring at the dormitory she was unaware of the group of rowdy students running in her direction. When she heard the shouting Andromeda turned her head a minute too late. With a squeal the dragon was ran into and knocked over by the group. They didn't even bother to apologize as they went to the main building.
"Ow.. Why me out of all people," she whimpered quietly. Pushing herself up so that she was sitting on the ground. Dusting her clothes off and adjusting them, along with her hair.

As the pair started to near the main building, which happened to house the gym within it, Hagane briefly took off his sunglasses to wipe them down. It appeared that dust had settled on them overnight, and he didn't really notice until he got outside. After revealing his hot, red and orange eyes - as if one was staring into a fire - he was almost blinded by the surrounding light he foolishly forgot about. One of the downsides with wearing sunglasses constantly, Hagane found - his eyes took longer to adjust to sunlight with them on.

Seemingly knowing Hagane's ailment the seven foot demon, who at this time was still floating beside him roughly a foot off of the ground, chuckled to herself. "I've told you before. Those things make you blind." Reacting almost like a child being scolded by a parent, Hagane huffed to himself. "I'm fine and besides, these sunglasses are important to my style." Slipping the black, with slightly orange tinted glass, sunglasses back over his eyes, Hagane didn't notice Ikari slip into smoke form behind him. Even if he did notice, though, he wouldn't have even fluttered an eyelid - Ikari didn't like crowds, and one was coming up to him...a little quicker than usual.

Thump. A second later, Hagane recoiled from surprise as he felt something hit his cinder block chest. Looking down he realized what the object was - a boy, rascal in appearance, who reckoned he could barge his way through the two metre tall, well trained mass of muscle that was Hagane. The result was no real surprise - it was a motorbike versus an articulated lorry - with the boy ending up on the ground. "Oy, watch it!" Standing up, the boy soon noticed that he was on his own - his friends barely noticed him missing, and had carried onwards to wherever they were going. Hagane just looked at him as he readjusted his jacket - was this boy trying to start something? "You 'eard. I'm gonna knock yer - erk!" Just as the boy managed to raise his fists, he suddenly felt a sharp tug on his shirt, as he felt himself being pulled from the ground. Hagane just shook his head - either the boy was incredibly dumb, or perhaps brave, but he did not appear to understand the basics of situational awareness and missed the large, annoyed, demon standing behind him.

Soon, the boy went quiet. He had seen what had picked him up, and it terrified him - he didn't want his soul taken by this demon. As if Ikari sensed his fear, she just chuckled as her iron grip tightened. "Watch where you're going, next time. Or you could end up hurt." With that, Ikari threw the boy to the ground, not as gently as he would've liked (but not enough to cause harm). Laughing still, she watched as the miscreant scrambled to his feet and dashed off towards where his friends went.

Meanwhile, Hagane had already given up trying to talk her out of it - he knew Ikari wasn't going to listen. She was a demon, after all, and she loved to punish the sinful. Or anyone, really - Ikari wasn't fussy. Instead, he had started walking down the path. Just as Ikari gently floated back to Hagane, he realized that the girl on the ground must've also have been knocked over by the boy. Offering a hand down to her, clearly muscled and strong under the tight leather jacket, Hagane smiled. "You aren't hurt, are you?"

Hearing a voice speak to her and catch a glance of a hand her yellow orbs soon found their up to the person they belonged to. Seeing the muscular boy smile down at her caused her pupils to constrict and her cheeks to become red with embarrassment. When she opened her mouth to speak no words came out; instead, a small puff of smoke did. Now she'd gone and done it! Cheeks grew a brighter shade of red as she clasped her hands over her mouth. "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen! It was an accident, I swear," Andromeda managed to stammer out as she glanced away for a moment as she hesitantly placed a hand in his.

Slowly she brought herself to look up at Hagane. When she did, only then did she really manage to get a good look at him. This guy did look really strong, especially with those sunglasses of his. But, he didn't seem all too mean and such. Remembering his earlier question about her health, Andy nodded a bit. "Y-yeah, I'm alright. Only a bit dirty is all." Grasping his hand a bit tighter she pulled herself up on her own. Only using the stranger as support.

When she stood up straight the dragon finished dusting herself off a bit more. Once she finished that her yellow orbs managed to find their way back up to the sunglasses that covered the stranger's eyes.
"U-uh.. u-um..." raising her hand a bit the girl managed to brush some of her green locks back as she looked up at the boy, "Th-thank you for your help." Glancing away from him she gently scratched her cheek with the round tip of her fingernail, "I'm Andromeda by the way, sorry for causing you any trouble."

While she was still glancing away she noticed something behind him. It was that demon! So he was the one she saw walking towards the dormitory entrance from inside. Her eyes widened a bit at the larger creature. Sure Andromeda herself was a dragon, but most demons were far more powerful than her species. More dangerous too. But the two seemed to know each other. If Andy had to guess, she'd say that this boy was the demon's vessel.

Hagane recoiled in surprise as the green haired girl spat out smoke - it was certainly unexpected. Perhaps she was a pyromancer, like him? A question for another time, maybe. Ikari, meanwhile, just laughed. While she was a demon of wrath, she had seen her fair share of lust in her time in the mortal realm. Besides, Hagane was definitely a prime specimen of manliness - it wasn't the first time that girls had conveniently embarrassed themselves during their first time meeting him. Just last week another girl had effectively threw herself into him, until she realized the demon with him. Good times, Ikari thought. Hagane just smiled as the green haired girl apologized profusely, and didn't seem to be offended by the girl's smoke.

Feeling her hand touch his, Hagane's iron grip kicked in as his arm locked in place - giving the girl a rock to pull herself up with, as opposed to an arm. There were slight fluctuations in his arm movements as Hagane adapted to the girl's weight, but even with one arm didn't seem to have any issue holding her full weight as she pulled herself up - his muscle flexing in response to it all. Hearing her response, Hagane nodded in acknowledgement as he formulated a reply. "Oh, good. I thought those idiots may have sprained your ankle or something."

After a second of thought, Hagane decided to take off his sunglasses to best give himself a proper look at the girl. Even with them on, he could tell that her hair was green - it was incredibly vibrant - but he did not realize her eyes were yellow. This was definitely an odd one, for sure. Ikari seemed to agree, looking towards Hagane with a nod as she replied to him mentally. Still, yellow eyes didn't really faze him - his own fiery red eyes were far more unique and special - at least, to him. As she told him her name, Hagane spoke back his own name. "Hagane. Don't worry about it." After putting his sunglasses back on, he stepped aside for his friend. No doubt she'd want to speak for herself.

"Ikari. I'm his...erm...'friend'." As she speaks, she hands down her own hand to shake. Hagane looked at her suspiciously - it wasn't like her to be so...kind in first meetings. Kind to himself, that is - usually Ikari jumps at the opportunity to embarrass him or something like it at every opportunity she gets.

Shaking her head in response, she shed a small smile, "No, I wasn't pushed that hard thankfully." Though when this guy removed his sunglasses Andy was instantly drawn in by his eyes. Not even concerning herself with his softened appearance. Standing on her toes a bit she looked into them, her dragon side getting to her. "Your eyes, they remind me of fire opals. They're a lovely gem that I've seen encrusted into the crowns of kings.. Never have I ever met a human with the eyes of such a color, what a rarity."

Though when she realized what she was doing, Andromeda froze a bit as she stood flat on her feet. An embarrassed chuckle escaped her, "Sorry I'm uh, really into treasure and rarities. Your eyes just reminded me of such things." Now she had really made herself look like some freaky weirdo! Mentally she was cursing herself and questioning why she was still even standing there. But when she heard this boy say his name she repeated it quietly, "Hagane.."

When Hagane slipped his protective eyewear back on the dragon watched as he stepped to the side. Allowing the demon to make her own greeting. The green haired girl was rather surprised by the kind introduction. Yellow orbs moving to the hand that was now extended to her. A tiny smile crept across her lips as she reached out and gently gripped the female demon's hand, "Nice to meet you Ikari. Your eyes remind me of a ruby and sapphire." Slowly she slipped her hand from the "woman's". The dragon felt a tad more comfortable than she was a moment ago.

In truth, Hagane was a bit shocked to see the girl comment so suddenly on his eyes. It was out of the blue, and a little odd from one with such unique eyes of her own. As she talked however, Ikari definitely noticed that something was up, looking at her suspiciously. What Andromeda said was very odd. The smoke coming from her mouth, the use of 'human' instead of something normal like 'person' and the constant mention of gemstones and crowns made Ikari think. Hagane may be a little casual about such things as to not connect the dots, but gears were certainly turning in Ikari's mind. Unfortunately, she could not pinpoint exactly what this girl's powers were but Ikari hoped to get close enough, or rather get Hagane close enough, as to find out. That was one of the reasons she was being so nice, after all - not that she's nasty as a rule, just more...annoying. She liked to embarrass Hagane any way she could, which was fun, but it did leave Hagane sort of alone. He accepted it at this point, being with Ikari just short of a decade, so he didn't really mind.

Ikari's mismatched eyes looked into Andromeda's, as if trying to work out some incredible puzzle, as she gently lets her hand go. "Like yours are tourmalines, I suppose. Odd colour for a person, human or otherwise. Hagane's are red for he has mastered fire, and I am a demon, so that just leaves your eyes a mystery." Smiling, yet with a hint of a smirk, Ikari looked over to Hagane. He appeared to have realized that yellow eyes aren't normal, but he didn't not seem to like Ikari's ruthless questioning. Interrupting the demon, almost barging in between the pair, he claps his hand in a way of starting his sentence. "What she means to say is, what lovely eyes you have. Very unique. So, where was it you were headed?"

Ikari didn't seem fond of being shunted to the side, but she smiled anyways. She would've done the same thing, in his boat, and it was her job to teach him her ways. Well, Hagane didn't see it as such, but she did.

The dragon gulped a bit as she looked at the demon as the gaze turned into suspicion. Why oh why did she have say something so, so basic for a dragon! The light colored skin of her cheeks grew hot as she stared up at them rather nervously now. Any sense of comfort vanished now as suspicion from the demon dug at her like daggers. Andy made a mental note to not let that side of her be so openly known to any normal person. Whether they had powers or not.

When her own eyes got called into question another, much harder gulp, went down the girl's throat. "O-oh, well that's cool, Hagane. That you're into fire and all. And I um, kinda figured you were a demon, Ikari... B- but in all honest we're not normal, hence the school being here." Andromeda was now laughing nervously as she looked at the both of them.

Though not a moment too soon, her silent prayer seemed to have been answered. Hagane stepped between them and ended the questioning, even complimented her yellow orbs. Blushing a bit, the dragon smiled, "Th-thanks, but in all honesty your's are a true rarity." At his own question she shrugged her shoulders a bit, "Only to my home room. I enjoy the calm before the storm. Allow me to think and reflect on different things." With a gentle smile she decided to question him just a bit, "What about you two? Where are you headed?"

Ikari grinned, as she had clearly struck a nerve. Despite the girl's weak attempts at throwing her off the scent, Ikari wasn't stupid enough to fall for simple tricks such as the classic 'we're not normal' ploy. Still, she couldn't very well delve any further with Hagane there - well, she could but he wouldn't be happy about it. Instead, she just stepped back and watched her like a hawk, almost laughing to herself. The noose was made, and all Ikari had to do now was to tighten it, then she'll have the information she wanted.

It wasn't that Hagane was too dumb to work out that the girl was a bit suspicious, it's just that he didn't care. Not as much as the demon, at least. In his eyes, prying into Andromeda's secrets wasn't going to do anyone any good, let alone improve their relation. Hagane liked friends, and hammering them for information didn't help.

So, he just nodded in response to her answer. "I see. We were just headed to the gym. Either for weights or martial art training - I usually decide when I get there." Ikari sighed as Hagane spoke for her. "Hagane is headed to the meathead house, and I am bound to him. Do not mistake, I don't need such facilities." Hagane just chuckled to himself. He knew Ikari didn't like being associated with jocks, after all. Revenge was often the sweetest dish, if cooked properly.

Those different colored of Ikari's made the girl shutter a bit. Like as if someone had just dropped the temperature of the air around them. Andromeda started to believe that the demon was prying to get things set straight. And the thing the being was wanting to lay out there was the dragon's true identity. Sure here everyone knew that angels and demons were real and were alright with the idea. But a dragon? A really one and not some computer graphic found on Game of Thrones? Who knows how a normal person would react to such a thing. Let alone, believe her.

When Hagane answered her question though she nodded, "I see. No wonder your so muscular, you must work out a lot." Though at Ikari's response to the statement she blinked a bit. Turning her gaze to the female, "I would imagine that you wouldn't. For being a demon working on physical strength more than likely isn't necessarily something that is needed. Naturally you're strong without any real working on it except for when you're young. Though, that's just my belief."

Turning her eyes back to Hagane she let out a tiny sigh under her breath. Andy knew that she didn't have to work out in order to stay strong. Strength for her came naturally as breathing did for any living creature. In this form if she were to punch someone full force it'd feel like a sack of bricks. Andromeda's normal dragon form held much more immense strength. Buildings could be knocked over like they were made out of building blocks to say the least.

But that wasn't something she wanted to have be revealed. If it ever was, she hoped that it would be for the soul fact that she was defending herself. Though for now she only smiled softly at man and demon.

Elaena had fallen silent after he spoke. She didn't feel like she was petting the dog that made the mess, she just didn't mind too much that he had forgotten, probably because of her laid back nature. Should she have cared so strongly that he forgot his manners a little? He seemed to think that she should. She stared at him for a bit before he joked about slapping him. Looking from her hand to Ansom again, she giggled lightly in response before looking out the window towards the road. "Alright then...and I was not trying to 'pet the dog' as you say. I just have never witnessed someone feel so strongly about forgetting something like that before." She said as she fiddled with a piece of her hair, fixing it into place when she was done.

(That's okay :) Thanks for letting me know!)
Ansom shrugged again, taking his eyes off the wheel for a moment to look over at Elaena. He smiled a bit and immediately looked back to the road. "As long as you know to slap me next time, I see no problem." He chuckled softly and then fell silent. He turned the knob on the radio, filling the car with a light tune of music. There was no singing, just instruments. It wasn't even coherent, just a bunch of various instruments playing at the same time. There was no set tune. No rhythm with each other. No order. "Sorry if I've asked before but do you have a job?" He asked, glancing over to Elaena for a second. He was mainly just trying to make small talk.

Hagane nodded at the green-haired girl's statement. "Yeah, I do. It's intense work, keeping these muscles. You can't skip a day, or the flab'll take over." Smiling at the compliment, he looks over to Ikari as she starts her reply. He could tell that Ikari didn't like the girl (at least, he thought that she didn't like her - in truth, Ikari was just curious about her) but he thought she was alright. Sure she was a bit weird going on about eyes and stuff, but he didn't mind too much - everyone's weird to someone after all.

Ikari glared at Andromeda as she replies, her third eye glowing somewhat, speaking in a dull tone as she thinks. "Yes, well, humans are generally inferior to demons. When they lift stones we lift mountains." Ikari was still scanning the girl, trying to work her out, when she was suddenly interrupted by Hagane.

"Well...well, I suppose you've places to be. We won't keep you." Ikari looked to Hagane suddenly as if he had shot her, but does stop the glaring and returns to a normal look. Her eye seems to dull down, too.

"I see," she chuckled soft as response to the flab comment. This was, rather nice actually. Talking to someone who was kind like Hagane. Though her smile and laughter faded when her eyes met the glaring demon, listening to what she had to say between the differences in strength. Andromeda grasped her left arm with the opposite hand, squeezing it a bit as she felt the creature's knifing gaze continue to bear down on her. If she did tell them what she was, then more that like neither one would really speak to her again. But.. Where was the real negative in that? She'd always been one to isolate herself from others, so why should it bother her for things to return to normal after this hiccup.

When she heard the boy speak once more she looked up at him, shaking her head a bit. "Oh, uh.. No, you're not keeping me from anywhere or anything special. If anything, it is I who is keeping you from making sure your flab stays at bay. I'm sorry." With a small bow she then turned so that her back was to them. But before she left, she said one last thing, "I normally don't try and talk to people, it's just because how I was brought up. You could say that I was homeschooled for years before my family relocated here and tossed me to the school system. So being around others is nerve-racking, gives me a good amount of anxiety. But I kind of enjoyed talking to you, Hagane... Even if Ikari gives me the chills.. Well, I guess I shouldn't keep you any longer."

With that she walked towards the main building on campus, sighing to herself rather quietly. Andromeda hoped that by having said what she did, might actually quell the demon's suspicion for now. It's not like she lied or anything. What she said was the truth, just with a few details were left out. Such as just exactly how many years she had been "homeschooled", but that was due to the fact of having lost count of the years as time went on.

She was caught and sighed in relief not having to faceplant onto the floor again. "I-It's not my fault I trip over the smallest of obstacles." She pouted. "Th-Thanks anyway." She mumbled. Her face was red as ever and she continued to walk. "Come on." She said and began to walk. She took off her hood and let out her long grey-blonde hair and looked back at him planting her staff on the ground to prevent herself from falling.
Levi shrugged in response and smiled when she began walking off "I never said it was, I was just making a joke and you're welcome" he said as he continued to walk again, catching up to her "I don't mind stopping you from falling or helping when you do." He said, glancing at her for a moment as the two fell silent. He shoved his hands into his pockets and let a sigh. It didn't take a genius to notice her behavior so even someone as clueless about how people feel as Levi could pick it up somewhat, he just couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was. "Am I bothering you?" He asked as his brows furrowed ever so slightly, it was probably the most serious he had looked throughout all the time they had been hanging out. He had an accidental habit of bothering people, which normally he didn't care all that much about but, the thought that maybe he had done so to Seiko concerned him, more than he'd care to admit honestly.

Elliot had been watching the memory since, no longer looking to Seria as he couldn't really tell what her opinion was on any of this nor her reaction, he guessed even when watching her memories she was going to keep mostly straight faced throughout. It was only when he heard Seria's voice that he looked back over at her, snapping out of his own thoughts. "O-Oh. Uhm...Yes?" He replied somewhat awkwardly, not sure if saying yes was rude or not, or even if it was the right thing to say for that matter. After answering he walked towards the door as well.

Ayen could have found more doubts to bring forth, more questions, but surely he would be forgiven if he gave in and was wrong, even just this once, right? So for his own selfish wants, Ayen would set aside any other tests he might put Celaena through. Taking a deep breath Ayen sighed before staring at Celaena with eyes capable of boring a hole through her. He made up his mind to tell her his decision, even so, the Fae made a complicated face with his lips pressed tightly together and his brow furrowed. Ayen, disconcerned with the height they were at, nodded as if confirming what Celaena had said, before speaking himself "Yes, that is rather accurate. I suppose beating around the bush won't do much good, huh?"

It didn't take Celaena's suggestion to get Ayen to move, but his own curiosity. Maybe thirty seconds went by before the pair of Fae were on the ground once more. Ayen made eye contact with Celaena for a moment before tugging his arms away from her and starting towards the crater. "Stay there, I'll be right back!" Ayen called back to Celaena. With light footfalls, Ayen reached a point from which he could see Kenji, which sparked an odd feeling within the Fae. Even though he could see the man, he couldn't sense him whatsoever. For his own safety, he called out to the seemingly unconscious man. "I'm here to help, my name is Ayen, I mean no harm." With that, he proceeded down to the center of the crater, kneeled beside Kenji to see if there was any way to actaully help him with Ayen's powers.

CELAENA
This day had most definitely been a whirlwind. It really hadn't been very long since she had arrived from Fae, and not only had she made a new friend and been introduced to some of the... less nature-aligned aspects of the world, she had been reunited with her love (though he still seemed to harbor some understandable doubts). It was almost too much to bear at the moment, but she would stick it out. She had to. If she didn't, and just gave up after a few hardships, what would it all have been for? She wouldn't be able to face Ayen right now if she just threw in the towel. No, she was determined. Celaena was alive, damnit, and was going to do whatever she could with the second chance that she had. Hearing Ayen's words gave her a little bit of ease, though not much.

And it didn't matter anyways. Because something strange had happened. It really didn't take much for Ayen to move and check out the matter, and like he always did he had told her to stay behind. Obviously she was grateful that he seemed to be concerned with her well-being in the moment, but that's not what mattered right now. It was whoever had crash landed that was the topic of importance, so that's where she was going to set her focus. Focusing a bit of her power, she decided to follow Ayen against his words, needing to check out the scene for herself. She couldn't just stand by and not do anything, it wasn't in her to not be of use like this. It was a bit wonky trying to get herself down, as her use of her powers was rusty, and that was a generous statement. But somehow she managed to make it to the ground, though she nearly tripped and fell as her feet hit the crater near Ayen. Once her footing was more secure, she ran to where Ayen was now kneeling next to an unconscious man. A strange man, one that she could see right in front of her, but not sense. She'd have to look into it later. "What has happened to him?" she asked, her eyes looking over him to see if she could pinpoint any cause of his current state.

Han smiled and held onto Kanon. He could tell by the damp spots in his shirt that she had finally started crying. He looked over to his mother's grave and sighed quietly. "Sorry mother. I'll watch over your little girls this time. I promise to you too." After giving his apology to both his sister and mother, he turned his attention back to Kanon. "Come on, sis. I get a feeling that your boyfriend and our sister might be waiting for you." Han soon teleported himself and Kanon back to school grounds. He wanted to get her back to that guy and Yumi. Taking out his cellphone, he started to dial her number before pressing call. He then waited for Yumi to pick up. He was going to live up to his words, and make sure everything was going to be alright for them from now own.
YUMI AND KANON
Kanon hated this part of herself. The.... vulnerable part. She felt weak, and dependent, and small. It was why she had forced herself to lock it away deep down where she didn't have to deal with it ever again. Well, that wasn't entirely accurate. She hadn't quite forced herself, more like her situation forced it upon her. Either way, she hadn't let herself be vulnerable in a very long time. Gods, when was the last time she actually cried? She couldn't remember. Everything was kind of hazy at the moment, from how hard she currently was crying. By the time that Han had teleported them back to school, the tears had slowed, but not completely. The "little sister" in Kanon was fully activated, and she didn't want to let go of Han. Partly because it was actually nice to feel like he was back in their lives, partly because she was actually scared that he was going to go away again like he had if she let go. Partly because she didn't want Han to see her face all messed up. And partly because it still was the anniversary of their mother's death and she was just a mess anyways. Her ears perked a bit when she heard Han pull out his cellphone, though from her position she couldn't tell who it was.

Yumi was walking back to the dorms when she got the phone call. She had been so out of it all day that classes had already ended before she knew what hit her. Yes she was barely old enough to know her mother but it still was a reminder that she didn't have one anymore. It was hard to focus on this day every year, and she couldn't help but wonder why she didn't just stay home or go with Kanon to the grave. She felt like a zombie, with only the weight of her schoolbag pulling on her shoulder grounding her to reality. She was zoned out of it to the point where hearing her phone buzzing in her pocket actually startled her, and she almost dropped the phone trying to grab it. All she could think was that it was Kanon, or something had happened to her, and now she was on high alert. Her eyes widened to see that the caller ID read "Han", and she answered it almost too quickly.

"Big Brother?" she answered breathlessly, wondering why he was calling her.

Elaena tilted her head as the radio started up, playing... something. There was certainly instruments in there so she supposed it was music. She felt was sort of similar to some of the music she had heard on occasion in the dream realm. Since the realm was influenced by the dreams of others things were always a little weird there so it was normal to hear such things there but she had never met someone who enjoyed experimental music before. At least openly anyways. She shook her head in response to his question "You haven't. I work as a waitress part time. Not the most interesting job in the world but I guess it keeps me busy" she said smiling softly. After a few moments of listening to the radio she looked over at Ansom "I suppose I should have known this was the music you enjoy." She said giggling lightly. "It's certainly interesting"

Alejandro didn't say anything. He just let the moment play itself out... Something like this was something he'd only expect to see in fairy tales or movies, but it felt nice to experience. The love from another person who you've liked for quite some time now. To hear them say such words. Behave in such a way that you'd never in your life expect to see. When Astrid began to speak, Alejandro listened, his attention being all for her at this time. He was happy to hear her agree to be with him, overjoyed at that. He could hear how much she meant what she was saying in her voice. Astrid's final words echoed through his head like a drum constantly being banged on. "You don't ever have to worry about being alone again.Forget that you ever were, because I'll be with you. Just say my name and if I have to, I'll come from the other side of the planet just to do even the simplest of tasks, Astrid. I mean it." Alejandro smiled and gently his fingers on Astrid's chin. His own tears had stopped, and he was ready to face Astrid with his confidence restored. Slowly, he lifted her head back up, putting them at eye level. "You don't have to cry anymore..." He said. Alejandro soon found himself closing in on Astrid and planting a kiss on her lips... One of the last things he expected himself to do. It was all just instinct.

ASTRID

It was strange baring herself out like this. Astrid was definitely not used to expressing her emotions. Growing up, where she was from, it could spell disaster in multiple ways to be any kind of vulnerable, including emotionally. So she learned how to keep her true emotions hidden, locked away where they couldn't be toyed with. She was the epitome of self-preservation, and it seemed to work out in her favor. For the most part, anyways. Once she left home and came to the surface, she realized that she was finally free. Free to do what she wanted, be who she wanted, choose what to do with her life, choose who was in her life... and that meant finally finding and having some true friends. But having true friends meant having to open herself up to them... something she wasn't totally prepared to do. Skylar realized this and didn't mind either way. Her kind nature meant that she didn't push where Astrid didn't want to be pushed, and for that she was eternally grateful. She only hoped that one day she'd be able to open up about who she really was. And then there was Alejandro. Somehow without her realizing, Alejandro had broken down all the walls around her heart and opened every lock she had placed upon herself. Somehow he managed to get under her skin, and before she knew it she had grown from hating him to loving him. And of course, she never thought he'd ever feel the same. Defense mechanisms were meant to be strong, of course. That brought everything to this moment. Alejandro giving his response of his own feelings. How she'd never be alone again. How he'd always be there. How she wouldn't have to cry again. Suddenly, Alejandro leaned forward and kissed her, and the surprise on her face was evident. But it didn't last long, and soon she found herself kissing back. Leaning into it, kissing the person she loved... that was pretty nice. And just like Alejandro, it was on instinct. A need and desire she didn't really know she had until this moment. A moment that was a long time coming... and seemed to be great for both of them. If she could have it her way, she never wanted it to end.

Zero still couldn't see why anyone would harm Ryft, people really could be huge jerks. Maybe it was the fact Ryft was so nice that bothered the jerks? That was a completely dumb reason, not that anything could justify ganging up on someone. He waited patiently for his response, not in any hurry to be going anywhere. It wasn't like he had anywhere to be, and even if he did he wouldn't care if he was late or not. He tilted his head a bit upon hearing his response. Trouble? Burden? Ryft really was a nice guy. He took a glance at his hand when he brought it up to his chest, the action not going unnoticed by him. Really, being troubled or burdened was the least of his concerns. Zero smiled again after he finished speaking, "I'm more than happy to help out, so you don't have to worry about being a burden or troubling me." He said, scratching his cheek a bit. "I mean, if you need help, I can always be someone you can ask, no matter what, y'know?" He added. "I don't mean that in a creepy way or anything, I'm not saying you absolutely have to ask me for help, I'm just always an option if you need someone." He finished, once again taking a look at his hand. "Does your chest hurt?"

RYFT-MK80

Ryft knew that he literally owed his life to people. The only reason he existed was because someone created him. He was quite literally a burden, in the most literal of sense, one that those scientists made for themselves. And again, it wasn't hard to slip into the negative thinking without having a dedicated Wielder. Having that connection to someone else was what kept his spirits up. It didn't matter what kind of weapon he was or who it was that was his Wielder, as long as he had made a pact with someone and he was THEIR weapon. Plus, school was such a new atmosphere, he wasn't used to interacting with people other than the ones that created him. People here thought differently than anything he was used to. Which, apparently, included concern for Ryft's wellbeing. "Well..." he looked to the side, thinking about Zero's offer, "I suppose I can do that. It doesn't seem to difficult." It was after this that Zero asked if his chest hurt. Glancing down, Ryft noticed that he hadn't moved his hand from the position over the cracked rib. Running another diagnostics test, he found a few other injuries. "I believe I have a cracked rib, as well as some other skeletal fractures, and bruising of my nasal cartilage and the soft tissues of my lower abdomen." He spoke with a straight-face expression, getting to the point without seeming to show the actual severity of his injuries.

Levi shrugged in response and smiled when she began walking off "I never said it was, I was just making a joke and you're welcome" he said as he continued to walk again, catching up to her "I don't mind stopping you from falling or helping when you do." "Am I bothering you?" He asked as his brows furrowed ever so slightly, it was probably the most serious he had looked throughout all the time they had been hanging out. He had an accidental habit of bothering people, which normally he didn't care all that much about but, the thought that maybe he had done so to Seiko concerned him, more than he'd care to admit honestly.

The door opened and they appeared somewhere divine. It looked like a temple. The Goddess sat down upon her sphere that was positioned above some steps. Seria, in the memory, walked up towards her while sheathing her blade on her back. She looked up, her eyes still a golden yellow. "So, how am I to 'better' thyself, Natsumi?" The Goddess chuckled softly. "It's so refreshing to be called by a name rather than a title. Very well, Seria, I suggest you rest first. Have some time to refresh and let the stress drain away. There's the baths over there. Clean yourself from the smell and spills of blood. It's not a very good way to present yourself to other divinities." Natsumi then pointed towards a door that lead outside to the baths. It looked as if someone was there already. A pink haired girl with cat ears and a tail. Seria then started to walk towards the baths and begun to undress. Immediately, Seria covered Elliot's eyes just to prevent him from seeing her naked. Once the memory of Seria was in the water, she uncovered his eyes. The memory of Seria's clothes had disappeared along with the sword. She began washing off the blood off from her hair rather slowly, watching as the blood leaked into the water and disappeared later. Then, the pink haired girl went over to Seria and begun to help her wash off. Seria looked at her in a bit of caution. "Who are you?" The pink haired girl soon replied, smiling. "I'm the Goddess Seria. Nice to meet you."
