Nico giggled and slightly nudged them.


"I'm just clowning around with you,"


When they asked her to describe highschool, she had to pause and think about it cause like what was it like.


"Well, highschool is pretty intense and whatever choices you make now will determine your upcoming future, but I don't really get why that's the case since we're still adolescent and ignorant to what we really want to aspire in life..."


She gave out a long breath and smiled back at them.


"But don't sweat the little things and I think I should introduce myself now, my name is Nico.."


Nico smiled, holding out her hand for them to shake.

"Oh... that sounds really stressful. Well, how is P.E. here? Also, my name is Moonstone." Moonstone said as shook Nico's hand firmly, but not too roughly, before taking it back. Touching others wasn't something they were very happy to do, but they hated coming off as rude even more and tried to at least hold their complaints for Junchi to hear later.

"PE here is really great!! they work around your ability, but at the same time challenge it.. I don't know how they do it, but they do.. so I don't regret that double bacon cheeseburger the other day.."


Nico laughed awkardly and scratched the side of her arm. Then she noticed how uncomfortable they are when they shook her hand. She tilted her hand slightly to side in confusion.


"Are you alright..? You seem uncomfortable right now"


Nico bit her lower lip in nervousness.

"Huh? Oh, sorry, I just don't really like being touched. It's a personal thing I'm still trying to get over, sorry for making you nervous." Moonstone responded. They then turned some of their attention towards their class, "We should, uh, probably participate before we get ourselves into trouble."


They regretted making the situation so awkward. Moonstone wanted to apologize some more, but they knew that would either make them look pitiful, look like they're trying to gain pity, or make the situation more awkward. They tried to continue to conversation with Nico to make things better. "Hmm, well, do we use our abilities in this class, or is everything just physical?"

Nico didn't want to upset them , so she decided to not venture into that topic any further. She sniffed her hair making sure it smells fresh and it does. She giggled slightly. Nico widened her eyes to the PE class and went over to the PE teacher. Then she waited for instructions.


"Hopefully, we can play basketball or something simply.."


She whispered to Moonstone.

Jack is standing in the water of the school's pond.He read through the book 'The Art of Water'.The cover page says:


Water gives life and heals.


Jack tries the first trick. Water starts to float up in the air. Jack swings his arm and the water moves around him and then he throws it.


"That was easy. Let's see what next move should I do".


He looks through the book and finds a section about ice magic.


He closes his eyes and lifts his hand up.Water flows up quickly then freezes. They become pointy spikes of ice.

Roy arrives back at the dorm, seeing Wylie not there yet, he thinks Wylie probably went for an extended walk or something. Slightly bored, yet unwilling to take any classes, Roy opens one of the cabinets, this one locked. After he opens the door with a key, a bunch of strange items await him, from a doll that looks strangely to Roy like he knows who it depicts to pokeballs to the 4 handguns Wylie bought. Taking one of the pokeballs, he realizes this is the Magic Catcher pokeball, and that he is out of practice with these. He shrugs, playing around with the pokeball, waiting for Wylie to return

Moonstone listened to the teacher's instructions as she explained to the Nico and the class that they would start off with stretches, then jog around the gym as warm up. The stretches were basic, at least for Moonstone. Bend down and touch your toes, sit down and push yourself to your toes, do the same but with your legs spread, they were normal stretches. Moonstone giggled at how some couldn't handle it and would end up falling over or couldn't reach far enough. Finally, Moonstone was in a class they actually felt good in and liked.


They tried to continue to conversation with Nico was they stretched. "I don't really know how to play basketball, but apparently it's an excellent sport for tall people." they said. "Though, I guess it's no good for anyone if you don't know how to even throw the ball."

Assana: She looks down, thinking about what would happen...what would happen if she saw her father again. No. No she couldn't look her father who apperantly was heartbroken in the eye, knowing their mother actually was alive and well in Fae. "Thank you."


Miyuki: "It was nice meeting a brother though."


Assana: "We still don't know where ours are. Sylvester and Den."

Jack went down read the book again ,but was hit by a sudden flashback.


A teenage kid was sitting by the lake. A koi fish swims in the ball of floating water.


"Kuroooooo! Watcha doing?" A girl sneaks up and hugs him. The boy loses his focus and drops the fish in the water.


"None of your business Eve" he turned his head and shouted at her.


She laughs and pats Kuro's head. " Why are you so grumpy ''. She pokes him in the cheek.


"You shouldn't be here Eve. These are the training grounds with people who actually have powers"


"I was just checking on you. I heard from many students that you have a hard time controlling your anger. Remember Kuro be calm and don't let your emotions get ahold of you" She gives a sad look.


Kuro looked back at the water. His red eyes looking back at him. He was alone. She was never here. Eve's been dead for years. The lake started to freeze and snow started to fall from the sky.


"I will get revenge Eve , I'm sorry but I can't take your advice


Jack comes back to himself. "T-that can't be him. If so, Kuro was one of the users of this book"

Nico followed the instructions for the stretches. She breathed in and out in order to bring in oxygen to her muscles. She laughed alongside with them.


"Tragic.."


Nico danced since she was seven and she loves doing stretches which gave her an idea.


"Psssht.. Wanna see something cool?"


She gave them a playful smirk. Nico slid into her left split almost immediately. She was all the way to ground and beautifully pointed toes that arc her heels like a C shape.


"Ta-da!!"


Nico did jazz hands for effect. She laughed hysterically to herself. She stayed down on the floor.


"Uh..well my height is a whopping 5'3, but I can still play a mean ball homie,"


She winked at them playfully.


"Also, most of the time, when I shoot the ball, I just hope for the best honestly .."


She chuckled slightly.

Everest grinned. While he didn't think Hakuru had any interest in bounty hunting, he wasn't about to tell her he and Fenris had tracked some high priced bounties to the town so he just shrugged before replying, "Boredom, it was more interesting than doing nothing."

Perfect looked at the ribbon that slid up on him and shook its... Whatever the hell is considered it to be at him. "Uh..." he said before he turned around and saw Ribbon. She looked as if she were pouting still so he let her powers do all the work while he went to cheer her up. "Hey. Stop being like that... I said I was sorry." He said before poking her cheek repeatedly. He tried thinking of something a human would say to a upset female but came up with nothing. Nothing that seemed to fit his mindset, so he went with something else. Something more happy... He hated that word sometimes. "Even when you'are mad, you're still... Ah crap... I'm not saying that word." Perfect looked at Ribbon and sighed. "How can I make it up to you?"

Moonstone stopped stretching and clapped. "That was really good." They then cringed when they were called a homie, but followed along and still giggled to show it wasn't too bad. "Well, I guess it just matters if you can jump high, and you just gotta learn technique and all that." Moonstone explained as they stood up from stretching.


The teacher told the class that the stretching was over, and that now they would jog around the gym twice before they go into harder stuff. Moonstone began running, but kept themself at a slow pace to let Nico catch up with them and to keep the conversation at a nice pace.

Rosalie blinked at his words, why was he frowning then? She didn't get it really "Huh? Really, because you seemed weirded out." She frowned a little, looking him up and down ((mostly up, he was quite the ways taller than her)) "I use my abilities of manipulating sound to talk because I'm mute. So I guess its very useful" Her voice explained before he asked what class she had "Combat class....I-If I can find it..." She let an inaudible sigh "I may have been staying in the dorms for a while but, classes havent officially started until today so I'm still not 100% sure where everything is..." She admitted.

Nico rolled over and got up real quick. She heard the new objective and followed behind Moonstone. She slowly started jogging alongside them.


"So tell me about yourself.."


She smiled at them for moment and then she looked straight where she was going.

He stepped out of the pond and dried himself off. He took out his schedule . "P.E"


He put it back in his bag and started to head to the P.E building.

She smiled at them for moment and then she looked straight where she was going.

"About myself?" Moontone said hesitantly. They didn't want to reveal too much about themself, so they decided to go with the most basic approach to this. "My name is Moonstone, and I'm a humanoid gemstone from a family of them. I was born on this planet though, unlike my mother and grandparent. I'm, uh, fourteen and in my freshman year too, and was convinced to come here by my friend Mei Junchi."


They knew how awkward that sounded, and how it was obvious they didn't want to go too deeply about themself. Moonstone knew they were going to have to reveal it sooner or later though, and definitely knew that by the time they left or graduated from the school, most everyone would know about their abilities and background. Still, it didn't hurt to give the information out slowly and make the person work for it. At least, Moonstone thought that, but they also knew that even if they made the person work for it, they would most definitely give it up easily.
