She replied in a rather calm tone, even though that wasn't how she was feeling. At this point, Asuka was about as scared and worried as Lumina was about Akira being lost... whatever that meant❦...
"Lumina, I need you to calm down. Everything is going to be fine... I hope. I don't know what you mean by Akki-san being lost..."


Saki laughed and caught the ball, "It's not that big a deal. It's just a game~" She stated before hitting the ball up and hitting it over to him.

Lumina looked over at Asuka, her expression not changing. At this point she knew the only thing that would truly calm her down would be seeing Kenji. Her hands trembled, her voice still shaky, tears still finding their way down her cheeks.


"U-um... Kenji said something like... i-if a sanctum loses their pair, they go l-lost... a-and they lose control of themselves... a-and only their pair c-can stop them... He said h-he was going to g-go check out what Akira w-was up to, and that h-he'd be back..."


Her voice broke at the end of the sentence, close to losing it.

Lumina looked over at Asuka, her expression not changing. At this point she knew the only thing that would truly calm her down would be seeing Kenji. Her hands trembled, her voice still shaky, tears still finding their way down her cheeks.

"What? I don't understand... I mean, I understand what you're saying perfect fine, but-! I'm right here! Do you know where Kenji went?"

...ΨKenji spun around and desperately began kicking Akira's stomach repeatedly, his power sky rocketing as he struggled against Akira's grasp with his one arm, yet to no avail. Kenji gathered all of his remaining power and planted his foot into Akira's stomach once more, sending him backwards and releasing his graspΨ...

Kenji leaped to the right, but his leg was caught caught in the attack, the impact soon forcing him onto his stomach by sweeping away his legs from under him. Kenji gripped the area around the hole that had formed in his thigh from the blast, his red irises soon looking up at Akira. Akira looked at Kenji with a low growl emitting from his mask, a red ball soon appearing between his two horns. Kenji breathed heavily, knowing that he couldn't move due to the injuries he had sustained. He closed his eyes, preparing for the end†...

Kelsey was in the grocery store with her mom before she saw something she really wanted, she ran off and scooped up a bunch of tub's of ice cream and ran to her mom "I want these! please,please,please,please,please,please!!!" she begged.


Toru looked over at Kelsey then at the ice cream "eh? what no! that's too much!" She said, her eyes wide.


Kelsey looked at her mom with a saddened expression "uh, please?" she asked again.





Toru sighed "Fine but don't eat it all in one day..." she sighed.


Kelsey dropped the tubs in the cart and smiled happily "Yay!!!" she squealed happily.


Toru looked at the cart and sighed "She got so many..." she mumbles.

Manny woke up and got dressed, looking outside the window towards the school. his eyes widened as he heard the school bell in the distance, which had only meant one thing: he was late. he quickly got dressed, ate breakfast, and started his 64 chevrolet Impala before speeding down the road to school. as he turned on the radio, his favorite morning tune blared as he sped down the highway. As he listened to the wise words of Eazy E, he fixed up his hair to look less messy. upon reaching the parking lot, he sighed in relief as he shut off his car and went inside the school. today was not going so well.

Ayen rubbed his chin "Well, i'll let him out of there in about a week, he'll get his powers back when he's trust worthy again." he said with a nod


Len tilted his head "If you want to, but i didn't think you'd give up the chance to have alone time." he said softly

Right before she teleported Lumina grabbed her arm, making sure she teleported with her. If Kenji was in danger, she couldnt just leave him. No matter how terrified she might be, she couldn't just leave him and just be by herself.


As Asuka teleported she saw Kenji laying nearly dead on the ground, and ran over to him, putting her hand behind his head, holding him gently.


"Kenji!! Oh god, Kenji!! It's okay, I've got you..."


she could feel more tears start to come to her eyes, but she didn't care. He was alive, thank god.

Dakota smiled as she hugged him before moving back a bit and kissing his cheek "I love you~" she said happily "Anyways, we should probably get some breakfast ~" she said with a nod

Roland smiled and kissed her cheek back "And I'll always love you." he said happily "I swear upon the river Styx" he said before nodding "And yeah, breakfast does sound rather good." he said as he looked at her "But i don't think either of us want to leave each others arms." he said with a chuckle

As manny walked down the halls, he reminisced on the hardships he had been through to get this far. He was able to run away from his abusive parents, start a new life here, and now, thanks to his clients in the underground, has was now able to go to school. Upon turning the corner whilst daydreaming, he saw what he would consider "mind fuck material". there in front of him stood a man, who looked particularly angry, shooting a beam at what looked like a couple, while another girl was protecting them. seeing as that beam was in his way, Manny knew what he had to do. he rummaged through his bag of holding, pulling out what looked like an ornate mirror about his size, and grabbed it from behind, carrying it like a shield into the beam. as the mirror part of the shield hit the beam, it reflected the beam towards his left, away from his classroom and the group. Seeing this result made Manny sigh in relief, having doubted the mirrors power. "YOU MIND STOPPING THAT BEAM FOR ONE SECOND!?" Manny yelled at the man who he assumed was named Akira for some reason.

...❦Asuka let the barrier in front of her break and fall to pieces, but kept the one over Kenji and Lumina, who she was surprised to hear behind her. She hadn't realized she grabbed her arm at the last second and followed her here when she teleported, Asuka would talk to her later about it... if she ever got the chance anyways. Asuka moved her hands to keep the barrier up over Lumina and Kenji, focusing most of her energy on it. She soon spoke in a calm and gentle tone, though she still had a worried look on her face❦...





"I'm right here, Akki-san. I'm not hurt at all, see? I've been in town the whole time and came back home with Lumina... It's okay."

Lumina held his face in her hands, his joking not really helping her. Though holding him did seem to calm down the level of upset she was. She looked at him, so very thankful to have him even be alive. A few tears fell from her eyes, sliding down her cheeks. One landed on a cut on his face, the cut slowly healing.


"I've got you... you'll be okay..."


She gave a small smile, trying to hold back tears.
