No. The other Daedra feared Jygallag for his power and cursed him. That is why he became Sheogorath.

Karcen is right, I looked it up. At the end of Shivering Isles the champion defeats Jyggalag and after doing so it breaks the curse and makes them 2 seperate beings.

There goes two player character. The Hero of Kvatch becomes Sheogorath and the Dovahkiin becomes Hermaeus Mora's slave. That's just great. Only the Hero of Daggerfall, the Eternal Champion and the Nerevarine lasted.

And even then, the Hero of Daggerfall died in one of the endings (Daggerfall had multiple endings). Not sure about Arena though. Haven't played that in ages.
