Fantasy The Dragon of The North

Bennett looked over, a frown creasing his brow. "Young when what exactly? Something happen?" He questioned. Seeing how awkward she seemed, something made him push on for the story to be revealed. Yet then again, Ben scolded himself with the same words: Everyone has secrets." It was with that he lessened the appetite for knowledge.

Astrid sighed. "Perhaps later on I will tell you. When I trust you enough and when I can..." She replied, still riding on and hoping that he wouldn't push it. The main reason that she didn't want to tell him was that the fear of him feeling sorry for her and also she wanted to keep her past hidden in her mind. Astrid had buried the memory of what had happened and she feared that if she started to talk about it, the memory would come back. That was something that she didn't want to happen...

At Astrid's taking back her words, Ella raised a curious eyebrow. What ever could she be hiding? In any place, that was not hers to question. After all, Ella had yet to lend her name to her apparent companions.

By now, they neared the massive guardians, proudly erected in the towering stone cliffs above them. She took a deep breath, savoring the magnificent sight. It had been a long, long time since she had enjoyed something so raw, a simple sight. So long since she had enjoyed so ething at all it seemed. As she gazed up to the Western knight above, she caught site of two tiny specs orbiting its massive stone head, her ravens. They dipped and swerved about, casting small shadows onto the Eastern statue. Slowly, a smile began to creep across her otherwise empty face.

(Sorry I've been gone so long I had a school project that included teaching the entire class a full lesson and it took a crap load of work)
