When a overseas war for oil in a forgine country, the opposing country requires by law that all persons between the ages of 15-18 serve a five year term on the front lines. Many go willingly whilr others chose to flee and go into hiding (deserting is punishable by 60 years in prison and brutal public flogging or a 10 and on many occasions simply being shipped off to the front lines anyways) A special sector of the military police usually young low ranking officers is assigned the task of tracking down and taking the deserters into their custody. throughout the country are secret safe houses, for temporary protection and lodging. Deserters must attempt too avoid the MPs and try to survive the elements while they're at it.

In the dead of night Amy crashed through the forest away from her house, making her way too the road, she could hear the MPs shouting from at her home and she knew that they knew she had fled. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest as she ran, she didn't want to die in this stupid causeless war and she sure as hell didn't want to be caught either. Amy backpack pulled hard on her shoulders,it's contents including a few sets of close, a lighter, water bottle, $300 dollars in cash and a small hunting knife. These were the only things she was able to grab before the military showed up and she had to escape through her bedroom window as her parents stalled.
