Is Zed gonna have to perform some miracle for Jen to accept her? And Zed couldnt care less about any of them other than she has to look them over. Doesnt mind Milly too much since she was the only one to not insult her.

Either Zelda will have to quite drinking, which is unlikely. Or she’s going to have to prove herself in some big way that she’s worth keeping.

I won’t spoil anything, but I will say this. There’s going to be a point where Jennifer’s going to try getting loyalty from various people at the Mountaintop. I won’t say why, or how. But somewhere along the line, she is going to try getting people (and groups maybe?) loyal to her and vice versa.

Chances are if Zed didnt come across Mack she would have just done herself or... poisoning I guess. Love this song. Never heard of "If Your Reading This" though

Would you believe me if I told you I either got kicked out of rps or had to get rid of Zed purely cause she's an alky? Cause... it's pretty stupid.

Since I exclusively listen to country music, some Americana and folk music, I know quite a bit of the songs lol so I knew the one you posted. “If You’re Reading This” is a song by Tim McGraw that essentially is a soldier who left a letter behind when he died overseas fighting. Being that I hold high respect of veterans, I myself wanting to join (but couldn’t due to medical issues), and I’m the stereotypical patriotic, flag, gun and bible toting American, that sound really made me tear up. It’s pretty sad. Then again, I love sad songs, even though I’m not a sad person. I don’t know why

Yeah I remember you saying you were kicked out because of Zelda’s alcoholism. That’s dumb, at least to me. I think it’s awesome to see some drunken, annoyed character. They’re the best. And sometimes the worst.

Yeah it's dumb. I remember once someone said (in the OOC page, not PM like a normal person) that one of the other members had someone who had alcohol issues and wanted me to get rid of that aspect out of "respect". And of course I said no given that's a pretty fucking big part of the character and I got kicked.

Okay, look, I get that alcohol issues in a family could be a really difficult thing. I get that. But at the same time, you can’t be sheltering yourself from it in things like this.

This is real life. It happens.

You can’t just force people not to have a character in an RP because of that experience. You’re going to know lots of people in your life. Some might be alcoholics or have that in their family. What are you supposed to do, ask them not to be friends because someone in their family is one? I don’t want to sound harsh, because I’m not a harsh person, nor am I someone who doesn’t understand. I do. But you can’t shelter yourself in bubble and force others to live by that in real life. There’s lots of things I have issues with. Marijuana, for example, I have a big issue with. I’d say about 90% of my friends have tried it or still do it (and other drugs). I refuse to do any drugs, i refuse to drink. But when someone pulls out a blunt and start smoking, or try to get me to smoke (sometimes a little forcefully) or when someone starts drinking and they keep trying to get me to drink when I won’t, what am I supposed to do? Tell them to stop and get away and never be friends with them and put myself in a “safe space” bubble?

No.

I refuse every time, and I just walk away and let them do what they want to do. And I absolutely do not get in the car with them after they do that stuff. It’s my life, my choice. But just because I don’t like that stuff and have problems with it doesn’t mean I’m going to put myself in a bubble. No, I Man up, stay friends with them, and just walk away while they do it or something like that.

I know I ranted, but I just don’t get why people are like this. You can’t keep putting yourself into a bubble where all that stuff doesn’t exist. It does. You have to deal with it.

Hey if anything I'm glad you did rant. It gets under my skin as well. I mean don't get me wrong if someone said I wasn't portraying it right or something, i I can accept that cause all I gotta do is tweak it, but asking me not to do that at all? Think it's just this era where everyone gets offended at everything. it's pretty dumb. I mean trying to do that in real life just wouldn't fly. I like having Zed the way she is (for now that is, she might change in the future) andI wont change her for something like that.
