Her eyes don't really hint at that - unless one connects some sketchy presumptions... XD Just that it isn't really a natural colour, like her hair... It was more meant as a general offhand comment...
But... She questions herself internally...? So it's more her train of thought - hidden - that I'm adding in....

Well - taking she actually stood before A Priest of the dead that raised creatures from their graves and she hardly had the essence of fear does gives away. Either she lacks of mental intelligence to acknowledge as a threat (Which is not the case lol ) or she acts as if she is not afraid, which is a different more complex kind of fear.
Meanwhile, at time to compare, she reacted most calmly at time to introduce herself to the priest and dismiss him at the Forest, then rushed away not interested in fighting it or to linger there any longer. While in the bar she acts suspicious of The Second, an old man with, playing an instrument. One fear remarks of someone that pretends to be calm though ready - the other altogether is fear of the unknown, assembling a question instead of a quick statement.
The examples are, (...) "We are all much too vain to accept your... Gift. If, perhaps, in the distant future we seek... Enlightenment, we may seek you out. But, for now we have much business to attend to, and would greatly appreciate being allowed to travel peacefully. Your gift is appreciated, but none of us are ready for such a thing yet.", she took a small step forwards as she spoke, (...) Because, although Kore was relaxed, and seemed calm, she was prepared for a full scale attack. (...)
That is a reaction of someone that is ready, scared, but ready. Now - (...) She addressed him again, still using her calm and soft voice, but looking him dead in the eyes. "I think there is more to you than meets the eye - that you aren't as you aren't what you appear to be. What is it you actually want?", she wasn't sure whether she was just accusing a nice old man, or what. But, Kore had never really met a nice old man before, so her paranoid suspicions took over. Better to be safe than sorry. (...) -
A question. Not prepare. She hardly knew the Mr Corpse as she could probably so know his true intentions - paranoia strikes over her and the question should have come. However, she had the help of the trees as to give her some kind of guidance, plus the amount of information already hovering in the air.
Now, when Kore speaks to the old man, she uses her soft voice, not speaking up loud and clear - more calmly, relaxed, not entirely prepare. She acts as if she is exploring the area instead of going straight for the encounter. Why? She has doubts - She hesitated of the true intentions of the old man. Something that did not happen right away because, before, she has so dismissed him, since she was not interested in music at all.
Sorry, am I making any sense? I am not sure if it is easy for me to explain all this in english. I have taken pieces and words my characters could have heard and made up a profile of Kore. That is a summary.
