"Well, it was either the brother who annoys the crap out of me or one of the people I care for the most, I think it's obvious who I chose" he chuckled as he looked towards the fireworks. He was in awe at the display because he'd never seen anything quite like it before. He never really celebrated bonfire night before this. He pointed up at one of the fireworks before looking back to Mahiro.


"That teal blue firework over there is Mahiro's eyes" he said before looking back into the fireworks.


"It's a nice colour" he said as he nodded. Even in England he'd never seen anything quite like it.

Care for the most, just hearing those words made him blush even more. Mahiro avered his gaze and looked back up to the display watching the different colors erupt into fantastic explosives. Its been years since he had gone to a display like this. Mahiro blushed again at the mention of his teal eyes and the fireworks, but he brushed it off this time. The fireworks continue for another two minutes before ending with a grand spectacle causing a lot of ohs and ahs from the crowd. Afterward people started to rise from the ground and take their leave. "Shall we go then?" Mahiro asked looking down at Haruka.

"Mm, let's go" he said as he stood up. He took Mahiro's hand, there were still a few stalls left open but the circus was shutting down. Haruka made sure to buy a red paper lantern because he wanted Kei to see it, it was a shame he couldn't go.


"So to your place or to mine?" He asked with an eyebrow raised as they walked down the path which led to the centre of the main park. He stopped for a moment and looked up at the stars in the sky.


"I've never seen a sky so clear, and that's not only because I'm in Japan. I think my perspective has changed a lot too". He glanced towards Mahiro and let out a faint smile. He hoped he changed for the better.

Taking his hand, Mahiro rose to his feet and brushed any grass off his clothes. Mahiro walked besides Haruka as they lingered around the closing circus, stopping at a stand where Haruka bought a nice lantern. Probably for Kai, he thought. "Your place," Mahiro replied, if anything he didn't want to go to his place. His mother would annoy them with questions. As they walked through park, Mahiro smiled at Haruka's comment on the stary sky, "I like when you're all philosophical and not ditsy," he said with a teasing smirk, "but then again I like you regardless on how serious or silly you act." He added with a chuckle.

Haruka looked back at Mahiro and clutched it tightly. He brought Mahiro's hand to his lips and planted a light kiss on it before looking at Mahiro and smiling. He came close to him and brushed away some of the hairs that were covering his eyes and laid his face into the nape of his neck as he still held onto Mahiro's hand. His breathing was a bit erratic at first but it slowly calmed down after a while and he chuckled slightly. He brought his face back up and kissed him on the cheek before bringing his lips to his ear.


"Then let this be the side of me that I'll only show to you" he whispered.

A range of emotions erupted from within Mahiro, a bright red blush illuminating from his face. His hand felt numb where Haruka had kissed it as well as his cheek. His slowly blinked his teal eyes he glanced over Haruka, he was at a lose of words and hr could feel his heart beating quite loudly in his chest. Reaching over, he grabbed Haruka's hand and pulled him closer. Now or never, he thought as leaned over to him, his breath staggering with nerves. When finally he found himself pressing his lips against Haruka's.


"Sorry..." Mahiro whispered as be pulled away from Haruka right away.

Haruka pulled Mahiro back and replanted his lips back into Mahiro and clutched him tightly. When finally pulled away he hugged Mahiro tightly and didn't let him see his face.


"Mahiro..." he whispered whilst looking down towards the ground. He wasn't expecting this to happen at this moment but it was now or never.


"I have things you don't know about me... demons in my head but I know that I like you" he said going quieter and quieter. He looked at Mahiro in the eyes before smiling and chuckling.


"Let's go?" He asked.

Relief rushed over him when he was pulled back into another kiss, his arms wrapped tightly around Haruka as they hugged. He quietly listened as Haruka whispered, his breath ticking his ear.


"Haruka.." He started, "its okay, we all have dark things in our lives. Either way, I still like you." Mahiro spoke softly before kissing his cheek before smiling at him. "Yeah let's get going," he said as he took his hand and made their way to Haruka's place.

Once they made it back to his place Haruka set out places for them to sit.


"I'm going to take a shower, I'll be back in a few" he said as he ran to get a change of clothes and into the shower. He came back with wet hair and a towel in his hands. Since it was night he came in a simple shirt and pants for sleeping.


"Are you staying over or going home? I would understand if your parents worry".

Mahiro made his way to the couch while Haruka left to take his shower, his eyes wondering around the room. Kai's probably asleep, he thought as he checked the time. It didn't take long before Haruka came out already in his night clothes. " No, my mother is very lenient. " Mahiro said, "She doesn't worry unless she knows where I am. Can I stay?" He asked. He didn't want to impose especially since Haruka had to take care of Kai. @Cami

"Of course you can stay" Haruka said as he smiled. He sat in front of Mahiro and gave him the towel. "Whilst you're here you might as well make yourself useful" he teased as he gave him the towel and smiled. "Make sure to dry it properly" he laughed as he turned on the TV and switched to the music program. He sighed as soon as it came on and regretted his decision.

"I think I should be going..." Kanata said while standing up and dusting off her skirt. "It's getting late now anyways." Even though she didn't see the point in going to school, she didn't have anything else to do.
