Karu surfaced half of his face out of the water, only enough to see what was going on, and enough so that he could breathe through his nose. He waded to keep himself afloat. He realized that Hana was talking to Sora, he lifted a hand out of the water and waved at her.

Hana looked down and saw her blood on the floor. Her eyes widened in shock and she ran into the toilets without answering her question. Hana wiped up the blood and came back out again. "No... I can't even swim... Sorry.." She said while waving back at Karu.

Sora turned and looked at Karu as she swam to the pool's edge. "Oh that's fine no need to apologize. If anything I should for assuming that you two were dating" she said and her face turned red so she just went underwater from embarrassment. Sora could never deal with being so embarrassed when she, I guess you could say, 'accused' someone of doing something

Hana looked away and started to blush. "No, it's fine... But why would you think that?" She hopped into the pool and walked to the other side in her bikini.

Sora finally swam back up to the surface and brushed back her long hair. "Well..." She trailed off as she rubbed her left arm shyly. "I just did. I mean he explained everything so I now know that I can very easily misunderstand things" she swam over to Karu and pouted slightly. "I still can't believe you pulled me in" she said and shook her head teasingly as she swam over to the pool's edge

Karu laughed and swam beside her, "Sorry~I got carried away." he smiled and positioned himself adjacent to her. "Hey, Sora..." he looked forward. "Race ya~".

"What? No no I haven't competed in a while and you will definitely beat me" Sora said shyly as she began to blush. She was so easily flustered nowadays. She went underwater once more just to try and calm down. When she surfaced again she placed her hands on the edge of the pool and lifted herself out of the water. Sora smiled as she looked at him. "Plus if you want to show off for her be my guest. I will time you" she teased as she spoke in her more embarrassed manor.

He hopped out of the water in sync with Sora, "Come on at least try to beat me." he joked lightly. Karu cracked his neck left and right and placed his hands against the edge. "Maybe, I'm doing this to impress you." he smiled and chuckled. "Who knows~"

"I-impress me?" Sora asked pointing to herself. She gently pushed Karu back into the water with a flustered face. "You just want to know you can win" she joked crossing her arms over her chest and looked at him from her position on the pool's edge.

Karu wiped the water from his face, "Hey you dont know that!" he laughed and went back to his former position. "So, race?" he smiled appropriately this time.

"I-I don't know..." Sora said and looked at him with a small smile. She heard the door open and a couple students walked in chatting away. Sora went into the water and swam around slowly waiting for the students to leave.

Haruka's eyes widened as they finally reached the circus it was a far drive but it was worth all the bus and train waiting.


"Look, there's the ticket stand!" He yelled to Mahiro as they approached the man dressed in bright colours. Ue himself was also European and his japanese was pretty bad but Haruka could understand him.


"Two tickets to all the attractions" he said as he got the tickets and smiled as they entered the circus.


"I really want to see the bearded lady" he said staring at the list of weird attractions. Apparently there was a man who could spit fire.

Hana swam around in the water for a while and climbed out. She smiled and walked into the changing rooms and putting on a towel, and then sat on a bench to watch them swim.

After what it seemed like a very long journey to get to this side of town they finally arrived at the circus.. His bright blue eyes took in the scene.


It was crowded with people rushing in and out, splashes of colors everywhre as well as different sounds echoing about. Mahiro followed Haruka to the ticket stand who was already getting the tickets and raised his brow, "How much do I owe you?" He asked pulling out his wallet.


"I want to see the contortionist," Mahiro replied looking at list of attractions.

"N-not to be rude, but do you need something?" Sora asked as she swam around the pool looking at the girl who was sitting there...smiling. She felt like that girl was just watching them with some curiosity maybe? No that wasn't it...or was it. Sora didn't know so she just stayed in the pool while Karu was relaxing, just floating around the pool.

"Oh... Do you want me to go away?" She said at her looking embarrassed and looked down at her feet too.

Haruka gave Mahiro a peck on his cheek before smiling and chuckling to himself.


"There, I've already got what my money's worth, put your wallet away" he said as he looked around. The circus was covered in gold and luminous silver and brought a sense of the night in with it too. It was a beautiful sight to see and no flyers preceeded it.


"Apparently there's a man and his daughter who can talk to the spirits of the dead" he said with his eyes widening. It seemed far fetched but he was bored and willing to try anything.


"The show doesn't start until 30 minutes so let's go and buy some food" he said as he pointed towards the candy floss.
