Hana walked over to the deep end where Mahiro was. "So are you going to teach us how to swim?" She said eagerly with a smile on her face and splashed him with the water.

Mahiro frowned at Haruka, This whole family stuff with his brother must be really taking a toll on him. Swiftly, he forcibly pulled him back up.


"You aren't a bad influence okay? You are trying your best to raise him on your own." He replied sternly before turning over to Hana, "Yeah, I'll do my best." He told her as he looked back to Haruka.


"Ready?" He asked as he grabbed his hand and slowly pulled him closer to the deep.

Hana got a rubber ring from the side of the pool and put it on top of her head. "I'm an angel...!" She said, followed by a laugh. Hana never thought having friends would be so fun.

Haruka held onto Mahiro's hand extremely tight as they went closer to the deep end.


"Water, what a bad way to die.." he murmured as his voice began to shake.


He looked back at Kei and pleaded with his eyes for the kid to begin crying before he hung his head and sucked it up.


"Well?".

Mahiro couldn't help but give out a little chuckle when he saw how worried Haruka was. "Don't worry, I won't let anything bad happen to you," he said with a smile as he continued to pull him. He looked over to Hana too.


"Well first you need to learn how to float, and keep yourself up." He instructed.

"Um... Okay...." Hana was feeling a little nervous but tried not to show it as it would make Haruka even more nervous too.

"Yeah...." Haruka murmured before turning his head towards Mahiro.


"How do you do that exactly?" He asked with a look of confusion.

 

[Tempesta]

"Well, you kinda of like stand in the water and slowly wave your legs to keep yourself up." Mahiro said as he tried to explain how to simply float in water.


"So I'm going to let go of you know, so you can float on your own," he said as he let go. He turned to Hana to see how she was doing.

Hana waved her legs in the water and tried to float. "Am I doing it right?" She asked.

Haruka squeezed his eyes shut as he did as Mahiro said. So far he was planning on who to give his property to when he died.


He opened his eyes to see that he was kinda doing it before he clung onto whatever pool side he could.


"I think... that's enough floating for today..".

 

[Tempesta]

"Yeah your doing it right Hana, good job." He praised as he turned back to Haruka.


Mahiro frowned though when he wanted to quit. "Come Haruka you were doing fine." He said as he swam over to the pool side with him.


"Don't quit when we just got started," he said as he grabbed his hand again and slowly reeled him back to the deep. "Trust me. Look Hana's doing it."

"Haruka, if you learn now then you'll be happy in the future..." She said while floating her legs some more. "I'm sure you'll be a good swimmer...." Hana said while dunking her head in the cool water because she still felt hot.

 

[Cami]

Haruka clutched onto Mahiro as he was behind him, he buried his face into Mahiro's shoulder.


"Please hold on for a while" he said as his voice quivered and his face was pink from embarrassment.


He took deep breaths as he closed his eyes again and tried to float again.


"I'm gonna die" he whispered.


He then opened his eyes and they widened once he realised he was floating and smiled.


"I did it!" He yelled flailing his arms around.

 

[Tempesta]

Mahiro couldn't help but smile when Haruka was finally floating on his own. "See, I told you could do it. Soon you'll be as good as Kai," he teased as he swam up to him.


"Just make sure to keep moving your legs, okay just like Hana is doing it." He said as looked over to Hana and Kai to make sure they were okay. With everything good he focused back on Haruka.
