Realistic or Modern The Daily Lives of Toyko Teens

Hana stood up as the bell rang for her next class and ran to it without even saying goodbye. She put her bag on the table and practiced her handwriting before the teacher walked in the room.

"Mm" Haruka replied with a smile as he gave Mahiro his number. He looked towards Kira with a look of concern before shrugging it off. There wasn't anything else he could do apart from be patient. Everyone seemed to be a little off today but that was just how it was.

"So..." he said awkwardly, "Have you decided to do anything for the upcoming holiday?".

"What holiday?" Kira asked turning around quickly. "There is a holiday coming up?" She asked once more looking at them with widened eyes

Mahiro added Haruka's number and directly sent a text to him so he could have his number in return. "Yeah there's a short holiday break coming up, no school for basically half the week and then include weekends." Mahiro explained with a flick of his finger as he put his phone away and placed his head on the desk with a puff. Now he could relax.

"What holiday is it? If it's a big one that means there is another big party...maybe I can go to the beach house over break to avoid the parties" Kira said to herself as she flipped open her phone and began typing reminders for herself

"Hmm you know i dont know what holiday it is, but either way i got the short end of the straw, I have swimming practice through most of it, I think." He said with laugh before frowning at her reaction. "Beach house? Another party?"

"Huh? Wait I thought you said you weren't on the swim tema?." Kira said looking at Mahiro. "Oh yeah my parents throw parties all the time so I will probably stay at our smallest beach house over break" she explained quickly

"You should come over to my place" Haruka said gazing at the two with a smile. "I'm not really doing anything apart from taking care of my little brother who's coming over for the Holidays" he said in disappointment. He liked his brother but he was a handful.

"You could even throw a party yourself there" he laughed as he shook his head. Really, he had nothing to do apart from more piano rehearsals.

Smallest beach house? How many does she have? Having decided to press too much, he thought it would be better to answer her question rather than asking her more. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I'm remaining on the swim team for the time being." He replied. "Technically, my parents didnt allow me to quite." he added at a much lower tone though.

"Throw a party?" He said as he slightly rose his head from his desk.

"No thanks I've had enough of parties. Anyways I have to get to my class so if you don't mind I'll be leaving" Kira said standing up and packing up her things as she walked out of school and into town where she was going to be taking a couple collage classes. She took some of the classes so that she wouldn't be new to them when she entered collage and the high school courses and classes would also be easier to understand

"Mm. My little brother's off my hands on Tuesday so I was thinking about a little friend party between our group but someone seems unwilling..." Haruka sighed as he rested his cheek on his arm. Piano rehearsals just didn't seem something exciting anymore, that and he now works part time at a bakery.

"So, should it just be the two of us then?".

(ello Taro, nothing much its just the next day)
"I guess so...if you want it that way," Mahiro replied as he propped up his arms on his elbows to rest his head in.

"I wonder whats up with her though, I'm sure that she will tell us eventually," he said sure of it. There was no way she would keep it all in, like all people she would eventually crack.
