Realistic or Modern The Daily Lives of Toyko Teens

Haru gathered her things and headed to the classroom. She slipped past the door, hoping to be unnoticed by anyone, and took a seat in the back. She felt somewhat strange today...as if everything was foggy, and indeed, it was. She sighed, hoping the feeling would go away soon, and pulled out her notebook. She began to doodle around her page, not really intrigued by anything. She had a song stuck in her head, and she drew to its tempo. She looked up for a moment, wondering where Kira went...her memory was foggy, and she couldn't remember much.

(Sorry, I don't know what else to post...so here you go: something random. >.<)

(Its fine :D
Mahiro rose from his light slumber his blue gaze looking up to see Haru come into class, a bright smile spawned from his face. Just the person he was looking to talk to. He watched her as she went to the back of the room and took a sit before getting up to go talk to her. "Hey Haru can I ask you something. You like to read right?" He asked.

He pulled out a chair from an empty chair and sat next to her.

@macaron

Haruka smiled as he spotted Haru and Mahiro, and here he thought he received the punishment of having to spend the rest of the day with Kira.

He pulled a chair next to them and stared at Haru with a look of worry.

"You okay?" He asked with his eyebrows raised before turning his attention to Mahiro.

He flicked Mahiro's forehead and pouted before he ruffled Mahiro's hair and sighed.

"It seems today is just a lazy day, eh?" He complained.

Mahiro wasn't bothered that Haruka ruffled up his hair, it was already messed up anyway, it almost always was. "Yeah just another lazy day," he replied with light yawn as he rubbed his eyes, sleep still on his mind. "Its better than doing work though," he added as he cracked his fingers out of boredom.

(Sorry, I was doing the laundry. >.<)

Haru lifted her head slightly, looking up to see Mahiro. "Ah, yes," she said, a smile hinted on her lips. Her eyes followed the male's movements as he moved to sit next to her. Her eyes darted to Haruka who also pulled out a chair, and cast her a look of...worry, was it? "I'm fine," she replied to Haruka, inwardly happy that someone was worried about her.

She fixed her gaze on Mahiro's hands, which he had cracked a moment before. Out of curiosity, she tapped at his knuckles. "That didn't hurt?" she asked.
@Tempesta @Cami

"It feels like time will take forever which makes me nervous..." he murmured. He leaned his head on Mahiro's shoulder as he sighed.

"School - is such a waste" he laughed as he shook his head in content.

"After my performance let's go back to the cafe, I'm sure I have enough money this time" he chuckled.

He put his hand on Haru's forehead just to make sure she was okay and wasn't running a fever.

"Oh no it doesn't hurt at all, I like the way it feels and it kinda of relaxes me," Mahiro replied with another crack of his knuckles. He then smiled at her answer to his question about books.

"That's great! Want to join the book club with me. I don't know anyone else in the club, and it he great if you joined. I'm already alone in swimming club because Kira isn't joining again because of Sora, so I thought it be cool if I at least knew someone in one of the clubs I was in." He explained with puff.

"Sure," Mahiro said as he turned to Haruka, "Yeah I have enough money this time too." He teased.

Haru tilted her head to observe Mahiro's hands. Did the bones hit each other to crack? She never really looked into the subject...she made a mental note to do so later. She smiled back at Mahiro, though she bet that he couldn't see it; she never really understood why her facial muscles never moved to allow her to smile in the way others did.

"Ah...is your performance today?" Haru asked, putting down her pencil to face the two males. "Do you need tickets in order to attend?" She stiffened slightly when Haruka's hand touched her forehead, not used to so much contact. Someone had done this in a book she read to check for a fever.

"Are you checking if I have a fever?" she asked. She couldn't remember the last time she was so happy...someone cared for her, or at least, worried for a part of her health. It made her a bit giddy.

Her attention was turned to Mahiro's comment. "Swim...team?" she echoed.

(@Cami @Tempesta )

"Mm" he replied. "Your health is priority number one, then we can worry about less important things, you're a bit hot but it doesn't seem like a fever" He said to Haru with a smile before ruffling her hair. He was glad the she was okay, it was also kind of a distraction from what was going on.

"You do need tickets but I made sure to get spare tickets for everyone who I thought was attending so all you have to do is tell them your name at the front desk" he smiled and laughed. He really hoped she could attend, maybe she would stop living life in books.

"I bet Mahiro swims like a dolphin".

"Swim team?" Mahiro said raising his eye brow, "Are you interested in joining the swimming club Haruka?" He questioned her. "Do you know how to swim competitively? He never would have guessed that she would be into that.

" I do not swim like dolphin,' he said with a pout. "I do swim backstroke and butterfly."

Haru was about to throw herself at Haruka and barrel him into a hug, which would most likely not be qualified as a hug...more like a tackle...but either way, someone cared, and said her health was a priority. She had never heard those words in her entire life. She felt the male ruffle her hair, and she couldn't help but smile back. Friends were more wonderful that anyone had ever said.

"Does that include me?" Haru asked, not bothering to set her hair straight; it wouldn't matter if she tried, anyway, since she was terrible at hairstyles and the likes. She wasn't even considered to be a girl at this point, according to some people of her past. (@Cami)

"I think Mahiro would be a great swimmer, too," Haru said. "Can I watch you swim?" (@Tempesta) She had to dodge that question, and hopefully, Mahiro wouldn't notice.

"Of course you're invited!" Haruka said with his eyes widening. He glomped onto Haru before cuddling with her.

"You're one of my first friends here, why wouldn't you be?" He pouted before he squeezed her tightly and chuckled. She was kind of like teddy bear.

"Just make sure you wear a fancy-ish dress. It's a high end performance" he reminded her before giving a heartwarming smile.

"I tried swimming once... I just... sank really. I didn't even float" he said devastatingly.

Mahiro slowly blinked as he observed Haru, something was off about it her. Well it seemed everyone around him was weird in a way, he was weird himself. This time though, he decided to ignore it. She was being this way for a reason. Sooner or later he would find out in the end. "Of course, you can." Mahiro replied with a bright smile, "first practice is tomorrow after school."

"You can come too Haruka... If you want to," he added as he slightly turned to look over to his direction. "I could teach you to swim," he offered. @Cami @macaron

Taro walked around the school, his giutar on his back as he walked, it was about as tall as he was, well on his back it was, he wandered around the halls for a while till he spotted a group of guys with Haru the girl that he saw in the library earlier, he watched for a bit seeing if they were picking on her then noticed they were not and walked past them, he did not have to talk to them, he had to go escape the teacher plus he did not have to be invited because Haruka did not like him ... well it was the other way around.

('Swims like a dolphin.' Did you use that reference on purpose? O.o @Cami)

Haru let out a small yelp as Haruka glomped her, and she held on tightly to the nearest purchase she could find, and it happened to be Haruka's shirt. "T-Thank you," she stammered, surprising herself with her own voice. Her eyes widened at his next response. He considered her a friend? She hugged him back, overly happy at this point, and nodded. "I don't think I should wear a dress, though," she mumbled. "I'll just wear dress pants."

She looked up at Haruka as he explained his swimming experience. "I'll teach you," she blurted. Then she froze, quickly adding as casually as possible, "but I'm not too good myself." (@Cami)

She turned her head in Mahiro's direction. "Thank you," she said thankfully. She would finally be near water again. "I'll be sure to meet you at practice." (@Tempesta
(@BlackJack - Aw, checking if she was being picked on. That's so sweet. ^.^)

(What reference? O.o )

Haruka was surprised that she returned his hug but smiled either way.

"It doesn't matter what you wear, you'll still look cute".

"Eh? Really, you're both willing to teach me?" He asked with his eyebrows raised. It wasn't that he didn't try with swimming, he tried all the techniques possible and still he just sank. It wasn't the most fortune of experiences and it did cause him to have a fear of large bodies of water for a while.

"That would be great!" He said excitedly. There would be at least one sport he could do then but he decided he should warn them.

"I must warn you though, I'm not the best student...".
