Futuristic The Codes of Humanity

Sturs smiled as Fureha found the Shade she wanted before looking to the city once more - what was left of it anyway. It had been thoroughly razed. "Shall we return? and leave the Shades here to do as they please?"

Demi let her eyes wander to the man who went into hiding just moment before, she was too concerned with the injured girl to pay any attention to him. Her eyes moved to Shura, waiting to see if he had noticed as well.

Fureha moved quickly, picking up the little shade before skipping back to her companion. "I promise to give you the best little one" Pressing her lips to the small creature she left a burn upon its head. Golden lips, swirled with a hint of red. "You will always be mine." Peeking up at Sturs she gave an innocent smile as well as a nod. "We can go now"

Her heart lifted from the assuring demeanor as she carefully follows Demi. In the distance, she sought another being observing. Is this the "Shura" she spoke to earlier? He didn't seem to have opposed a threat to Demi yet she was still concerned and stayed alert whilst she walks with the new girl. Elle, curious, or the others that might dwell here; she stays quiet. A slight strange feeling of trust came over her toward the girl despite of her not knowing her name. Her attention suddenly turns to the cry of the man dying in the shades' clutches.

Shura eyed where the man went into hiding. Had they been discovered all ready? He hoped not. He did not wish to kill a human, but if they provoked him, it would happen.

Sturs nods, opening a portal back to their home. "adies first," he says.

Error's Heartgaze only understood the 'kill'. He opened his Tombstone, which happened to be an umbrella and used it normally in order to not arouse suspicion. "....,...!" He said to them.

Demi rolled her eyes, leaving the quiet boy to Shura, taking the girls hand to bring her into a seperate room. She was going to need quiet and privacy when working on the injured leg. She had a soft spot when it came to injured people, especially when it was someone who was like her. "Relax and sit down okay? I wont hurt you"

Stunned by the quick grab of her hand, Elle resisted to panic as she follows Demi to a secluded room. She looks around, alert of anything else other than the chaos happening in the streets. Demi's words then struck her. Relax..? Such a simple word yet so ironic to do at such a situation. Elle did as she was told. Gifted in following commands, her body goes limp against the wall behind her. Holding her tombstone in her arms as she looks at Demi.

DOing as Demi wished, Shura walked over to the man, understanding his Umbrella to be a Tombstone. "You're a Code. As are we," stated Shura. "Come with us?" he asks. He hoped this man was less of a jerk than the last male Code he'd met.

Minerva sat in a Tracking van, speeding towards the building at least three Codes were in.

"Elle... Demi and... Shura." She mumbled the words to herself as she flicked through their files on her laptop. Forbidden Codes..

Minerva watched the city passing by in s swirl of colours. The van's sirens pierced the odd quiet around them. Only screams echoed in the distance. Ash rained from the sky and Minerva could almost make out the shapes of their invaders. Minnie chewed her lip. They terrified her. Please, please let them help us.

Andy squirmed next to her. He huffed and muttered. "They're never going to co-operate- we'll be forced to neutralize them."

"They're no use to us unconscious," Minerva replied "Besides, they still have the same humanity as us, they're sure to help us." She could hardly convince herself.

Her eyes scanned the wound, It wasnt doing so well. sighing softly she took out her prayer beads, placing a soft kiss on them before wrapping them onto the girls leg. She couldnt help but chuckle at how well the girl seemed to listen, It was a little unnatural. "My name is Demi" Giving a small smile she pushed the spiritual aura from her own body, allowing it to connect the skin around the girls leg. "Its nice to meet you"

Fureha stepped into the portal, Looking back once to see the destroyed city. A small giggle leaving her childlike voice and she left holding the little shade in her arms. "Name him Sturs..."

The van slowed to a halt a block away from the building, hoping to approach the Codes calmly and unarmed.

"We all know the plan?" Minnie queried for the thousand'th time that night.

"Listen lady-" The driver swiveled in his seat to face her.

Minerva interrupted "Chief. And head of this department, might I add."

The driver sighed. "Chief, we won't usually do this sort of thing and I would rec-"

"I am not the youngest Chief for nothing, Private." She snapped, closing the laptop. "Now hand it over," She outstretched her palm, face up, and reluctantly, the driver placed the rectangular box into her hand. It was cool and vibrated every few seconds, a circle on the top and bottom of both the longest surfaces. "Thank-you." She said curtly, pulling open the van door.

Then men in the van murmured unhappily, but Minnie continued to march away. She slipped the device into her pocket, hoping she would not have to use it.

Staring at Demi's procedure, curious to see what she'll be doing to her leg. It seemed to have healed only a bit, but by her reaction; reassuring it was otherwise. Elle continued looking at her leg, holding onto her orb tightly. Not believing her eyes, as she sees her skin reforming as it closes the wound. Not only that, but the process didn't hurt. She expected much more pain than what is being felt. Hearing Demi's voice, Elle glanced by up to her face; hearing her name for the first time. Almost speechless, she breaks through with a gentle and calm introduction. "I'm Elle. It's nice to meet you too." Unlike other codes, Demi was actually nice to her. Elle began to question if she was a code due to how she took to her. Her evidence confirms she's a code. There's no doubt. She gives a gentle yet careful smile back. Unfamiliar to such a feeling.

Shura waited for the other codes reply, hoping it would come soon. He had a bad feeling for some rason and just as a caution, his Tombstone's guard of his arm grew in size, turning shield-like once more.

Sturs thought for a moment, not sure what to name the beast. "I do not know, Fureha, what do you have in mind?"

Demi focused on her work, She had a while to go before she would be finished. They were not the only ones here, the vibrations around her counted over 5 people in the area. "This may hurt okay, Im going to quicken the process.. try not to scream" She knew it was a bad idea, quickening her work would double the amount of energy it took from her, it was easier to fight than to heal. Closing her eyes she took a large breath forcing any energy she had into the proccess around her leg, sure enough to send the feelings of glass filling the would although all that was happening were the girls muscles regrowing around the bone.

She paused for a moment, Fureha had no idea what she wanted to name him. "He is adorable, small unlike the rest but very temper mental" Looking down at the little shade she smiled, watching as it pressed it's spiked covered head into her head, breaking the skin. "You can name him anything as long as its cute."

Elle immediately felt the burning sensation. It quickened into a very painful experience. The burning intensifying into sharp pain. With every muscle reconnecting, the pain grew worse. She looks up at the ceiling to distract her from the pain. Her moans innately coming into play, restricting any louder of noises to exit her body. Balling her hands into fists, she takes in the pain and rolls along with it. It's been a while since I've felt so much pain. Even when the shard was there, it stayed in place while my body was unconscious. I felt nothing and I'm paying the consequences now. She knew after this pain will come relief, she holds onto that belief until the process was done.

Error's Heartgaze was working rapidly. It seemed that he could trust this man. He nodded to him and put his umbrella down, twirling it neatly and carrying it properly.

Minerva could see the building ahead. There didn't seem to be anyone else around, but you could never be too careful. Glancing over her shoulder, she say the van retreating away. Good, the idiots are actually following the plan. It was a known fact that codes would be able to sense a large amount of armed officers in the area, so it was just Minnie and the Jammer - one of the most powerful devices she could legally hold in her hand.

She was meters away from the building now, fast approaching.

All was silent but the clicking of her heels on the tarmac, which seemed painfully loud on the empty street.

And there it was- a dump to be honest. But that dump was full of Codes, Codes the HDF needed.

Minerva cautiously placed a hand on an empty window frame, starting to ease herself into the building. She heard moans of pain from above.

"H-hello?" She called, silently cursing for the stutter in her voice. Despite her attitude, she was terrified of the Codes, and their power. And now she was confronting a group of them, alone.

Shura heard the call from below, red malevolent light crackled, coursing around his Tombstone covered hand. "It seems we have company. Let's regroup with Demi and the other woman. Best we do not face whatever this is alone." With those words he turned, heading towards his companion.

Sturs hummed in thought. "Beowulf?" he asked, not sure she would like it. He was not the "cute" type and didn't know what kind of name passed for such things.

Past her moans, Elle picks up another person in the building. Her moans cease into silence, her tombstone glowing according to her rushed heart rate. Closing her eyes, holding in any possible sound as she waits for her leg to heal. Another prescence is near, must not speak a word.

Bether came out of nowhere near Sturs "trying to think a name?" he asked, also trying to think a better name."how about Hershey" and he was not sure if would like the name.

Instantly the moans stopped, but she could hear hushed voices and feet moving around her. Pulling out her phone, she used it as a torch, sweeping it over the walls and floors.

"Hello?" She called, more confident this time. She walked up a set of stairs, wincing as they creaked. "Elle?" She called, taking a chance. From the profiles, this code, Elle, seemed like she would be much more kind towards a strange human HDF agent bursting in on them.

Sturs shrugged, still waiting for Fureha's answer. "Up to her, but hey," he replies, "I was looking for you earlier. I wanted to ask a favor."

Error heard the voice, his Heartgaze aloowing him to see an outline of her. He aimed his umbrella as it started to spin. "Possible Threat." He said simply as clicking began to come from his umbrella. "Open fire?"

Demi looked up at Shura quietly, trying to catch her breath as she stood up. "Her leg will be fine now but we need to prepare"

"Nooo! Thats not cute at all, you can do better" Fureha tapped her foot before taking another poison laced loli pop into her mouth.
