Hannah Love:

Hannah walked into the bus loading zone with her bags. She gave her bags to one of the counselors by a bus and went in a small building labeled "tribe assignments". She walked in, filled out a small personality quiz and scored Yakii. She got her team shirt and supplies to help her at camp. She waited outside for more people to arrive. This is the most fun I've ever had. She smirked at her sarcastic remark. Someone in a car came by and brought pizza for the soon to be campers. Since she was the first one there she decided to help herself. The pizza was actually pretty good. She ate another bite just as soon as another person pulled up to the camp. This time it was actually a camper so she was excited.

Zanna hopped off the bus, grabbing her bags. With a small sigh from the blazing heat, she headed towards a small building where the bus driver and told her to go. She smelled pizza, and somewhat gagged. She wasn't very fond of the food, but if that's all they had - well, she would have to eat it. "Or stave," she thought, nodding. She saw a girl standing outside eating the ghastly food, but thought nothing much of her. "I'm probably never going to see her again." Entering the building, she walked towards the front desk where they had little tests set out.

"YAKII." The results said. "
What does that even mean?!" She thought rolling her eyes. Gathering her team shirt and camp supplies, she began walking outside again, trying to avoid the withering glaces from the people who worked there.

Anna

Anna slowly walks down the steps off the bus and curiously looks around the area, seeing one girl outside, but paying no attention to her. When Anna gets off the bus she re-slings her bag over her shoulder and starts walking towards the building in front of her. She stops for a second at the door, anticipating what will come next and what or who she will find behind these doors. Anna pushes through them, glances at the girl already in the room, scans the rest of it, and immediately sees the desk with the personality tests on top of it. She walks to it without a second thought, fills out the test, and gets the result "Ute." I wonder what that chick over there got.., Anna wonders. She picks up her new supplies and her bag, walks over to the long table on which the pizza is, and puts down her stuff at the end of the table. She walks over to the pizza, grabs a slice, and with a glance at the girl, she walks back to her spot to sit and eat her pizza in peace, wondering what this place has in store for her.

Adelaide Finch

Adelaide really wanted to take the bus, she just wanted to blend in with the others, but her father insisted she be taken seperately. Luckily, she convinced him to let her take the car instead of the limo (that would make her look like such a snob!) and that very car was what she was stepping out of now. She looked down at her outfit... It was too fancy. Why did he make her wear this? It was camp for god's sake! She found the bathroom, and changed into a casual outfit that she had packed, then entered a small building that seemed like where she was supposed to be. There were two other girls in there already, although she had noticed another one outside. She went to the desk where there was a large stack of papers. A personality test. She took it, and to her glee found that she was a Chua. The description read that that was the social tribe, perfect for making friends... Speaking of that. After getting her team shirt and supplies, she turned to the two other girls. One was a blonde, with a very unimpressed expression on her face, the other was a brunette, with long curly hair, who seemed quite neutral and unreadable. Deciding to take her chances with the brunette, she grabbed a slice of pizza, and after taking a bite, walked over to the girl. (Anna)

"Hi, I'm Adelaide, and you?"

Jacob

"Thanks Mom. Yeah, I know. Mom, I know... Mom. Bye. I... I love you too." Jacob ended the call and neatly put his cellphone back into the pocket of his jeans. He had just arrived at the camp, and it looked pretty 'shitty'. Jacob groaned out of disgust.

Dude, why do you care if the place doesn't live up to your standards- you're here to win a competition. He thought to himself as a counselor threw his luggage at him. "Thanks." He nodded.

He followed the other kids, or... contestants, towards a small shack that was labeled "Tribe Assignments". He went inside; but, he couldn't find his name anywhere. He didn't know what tribe he was apart of. He was about to alert a counselor, but, his nostrils picked up a most pleasing scent. Pizza.

He wandered around for a bit before he found several boxes of pizza- still smokin' hot. He picked up a slice and began to chow down on it. It was cheese and bacon. Not his personal favourite, but, he was famished so he didn't mind.

He ate his slice, quickly. And immediately went for a second. The pizza was pretty good, in his opinion. There were red plastic cups, filled with liquid. Probably water or some shit, he thought to himself. He grabbed a cup and sipped some of the liquid it held. It was cream soda. He would've preferred some coca cola, but... he was happy as long as his thirst was quenched.

Anna

Anna glances at Adelaide and takes a minute to respond, almost considering to ignore her. She realized, though, that would not be a very good first impression to make, so she gives a simple response, "Oh, hey. I'm Anna." Anna awkwardly turns back to her pizza and takes another small, awkward bite, wondering whether this conversation with Adelaide would continue. Based off of this girl's demeanor, she'd probably prefer to converse and Anna prepares herself for more interaction while at the same time kicking herself for not being more naturally outgoing.

Anna glances at the boy who had walked in while she was semi-conversing with Adelaide and raises an eyebrow when she sees how much, and how fast he is eating, curious as to who he is.

Adelaide Finch

Wow, she actually responded. Adelaide had almost expected to be ignored. Talking was not her strong suit, but she had to make friends somehow, and just shrinking into a little ball and not talking to anyone was not going to do that... Even though that's what every bone in her body was telling her to do. But she had to continue the conversation, who knows, maybe it would end well and she'd make a new friend.

"So what tribe were you assigned?" Adelaide asked.

Anna

It seems to Anna that with every back and forth, the conversation becomes more and more easy to bear.

"I was assigned to Ute, what about you?" Anna replies while trying to force a smile that ends up looking a little more like a grimace. Hey, I tried, right? I think to myself. Again, I awkwardly look away and find myself curiously glancing at the boy near the pizza again. This time, instead of giving an inquisitive eyebrow raise, I decide to practice my grimace-looking smile at him and it seems that I did better this time around. I glance back at Adelaide, waiting for her response.

Jacob

Whilst finishing his drink, he noticed his name was under the blue-ish flag that said "Chua". I guess I am in a tribe after all. He threw his paper cup in a small bin and went over to inspect the sign, entailing what his tribe was all about.

"Social?" Jacob mumbled to himself as he studied the words. They know me so well, he thought to himself as he finished reading. Jacob was a very, very, very social person- he was sure he'd get along with his tribe very well, especially if they are all very talkative people.

He finally devoured all of his second slice and looked across the room. He saw a girl who was smiling at him. She's cute. The girl was talking with, get ready for it, another girl. Jacob gently took a napkin and wiped his mouth and hands, before deciding to go over to the two girls and introduce himself. It was about time he started putting his renowned social skills to good use.

"Chua." Adelaide said. Okay, this wasn't so bad, this girl seemed nice. Adelaide motioned to the seat next to Anna, "Mind if I sit?" She asked.

As Anna comprehended what Adelaide was asking, she also saw pizza boy starting to walk over, and the combination of the two made her nervous. Wow, I feel like a person-magnet. She glances back up at Adelaide and mentally smacks herself for not offering the seat earlier.

"Oh, yeah, please, sit down, sorry." Anna glances away nervously, but trying not to let it show, as pizza boy was still walking over to them.

"Okay, thanks." Adelaide said, sitting down. She looked at the pizza in her hand, which she had only taken one bite of. She had just kind of been holding it. She took a second and a third bite, and was just about to say something else to Anna, when she noticed a boy walking over. This could either be really good or really bad. More friends, or possibly someone out to destroy her. She dismissed the second thought, and decided to just ignore the boy until he came up to them. "So, what do you think about the pizza?" She asked. Weird question, but she had to keep the conversation moving somehow.

"Uhh, it's pretty good, I guess. I ate before I came, so I'm not really hungry", Anna says while looking down at her half-eaten pizza. I think that's the most I've said since I got here. Anna found that thought half funny and half pathetic. Subtly shaking her head to get the thought out of it, she decided to look back up to Adelaide and make an effort at continuing the conversation. "So... What brings you here?", Anna asks Adelaide.

Jacob

Jacob strolled over to the duo and smiled at them. "Hey guys. I'm Jake." He greeted them, his smile plastered on his face. "May I sit with you guys?" He asked as the girls looked at him. If they say 'no', you'll look like an idiot.

Feigning confidence in her own head, she jokingly considered what would happen if she said no. Wouldn't it be funny watching THAT reaction, Anna laughs to herself. Well, too late. Adelaide already consented.

Anna wears this sly smile, thinking about what just ran through her mind and feeling a little better about this whole thing, less meek. "So, what tribe are you in? By the way, I'm Anna.", Anna says, subconsciously, but subtly leaning towards Jake with interest.

Jacob

"Thanks."

He sat down beside the girl who told him he could sit, the one with the red-ish hair who introduced herself as Adelaide. He looked over at Anna. "I'm in... um, Chua, I think." He looked back at the sign and nodded his head. "Yeah, Chua. What about you guys?" He asked with a small smile. The building was becoming slightly more busier, with more and more people arriving.

"I'm in Ute." Anna responds to Jake as Adelaide takes another bite of pizza. Anna looks between both of them and says, "It's pretty cool that you guys are in the same tribe. I wonder who's in mine.."

Jacob

"Really? Well shit. That's pretty cool. I look forward to working with ya', Adelaide." Jacob said in a cheerful manner. Jacob looked across at Anna as she told him which tribe she was in. "I'm sure you'll find out soon enough, this place is getting pretty crowded already."

Jacob looked around at all the staff, all the counselors, and all the other campers who were dotted around the shack, all talking to each other- and, taking all the pizza.

Adelaide finished the last of her pizza, and wiped her hands on a napkin. "So, what bring should here, Jake?" Adelaide asked. Anna had asked her the same question, but Jake had come before she could answer. She didn't really know what else to talk about, so this seemed like a good topic.

"Well, I love people. And I thought it'd be a great social experience. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. Plus, the money would be nice as well." He laughed softly. He scratched the back of his neck and looked at Adelaide, and then at Anna. "What about you two? What brings ya'll here?"

"I thought it might be cool, great way to meet new people, and a little friendly competition is always fun." Adelaide said, smiling. It was the truth, but if she was being completely honest, she would have said that she was desperate for new friends and didn't know what else to do. She didn't want to seem pathetic, though.
