Fantasy The Calm After War (Always Open and Accepting)

“In a disturbing kind of way i was....” Raven watched Chloe, reaching out he gently rubbed her head for a moment before watching the arrow soar off into the sky. Chuckling as he watched her cute reaction to being pet and praised by Ari. “If you don’t mind asking before we start, what are you?” Raven asked as he stepped back so that he could see how far the arrow flew. Pulling Baomet from his back he smiled, the crimson red scythe glowing a similar but darker red as blood flowed from it into Raven’s body. Once it was done his muscle mass had more than quadrupled just before returning to his normal side. The once crimson scythe was now a cold black, beginning to glow it morphed into a Small Black dragon, perching itself on his shoulder. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Chloe, this is what Baomet really looks like” Laughing a bit more, as he walked a few feet from Ari and motioned for Baomet to go and perch himself on a nearby tree. “Now that I’m sober and closer to my full strength than I have been we can start, and don’t worry I know my limits” leaving his sword shiethed he laid his cloak down neatly off to the side. Stretching a bit before cracking his neck. “So you said I don’t have to worry about either of us dying here correct?” He asked as his eyes started glowing red, casting a spell he placed a heavy barrier over where they would be fighting, just Incase either of them go a little to into it, just so there would be no structural damage. “First one to submit loses?”

Ari Waesmor
Knight's Training Grounds

She spoke to him with a perky voice and a smile. She wasn't nervous, probably because she saw that Ari got along with him very well. She had an air of resolution about her though. "I am Chloe, a Savicorn. Master's pet and the one who's gonna help him defeat you." Chloe skipped to the other side of the field with Ari, fur sparkling with her head held high as if to say I know I'm fabulous. This was her first fight with her master and she was ready for it

"The field activates upon what would be your death and heals you. This is a classic fight to the death, Rook. As with all honorable fights to the death between warriors, the only rule is no outside intervention. If you don't control it with magic or its life isn't dependent on your magic, you don't use it."

Ari notched another arrow to his bow. He was in his fight stance now. A drawn bow, eyes focused and ready to shoot or dodge. "When you're ready, let's see how those ancient legs dance." It was highly likely that Ari would get destroyed in a straight up sword fight. All Ari had was speed, no technique. Raven obviously had some skill with it. Ari didn't, however, lose his edge with a bow. He was in his element to the highest order.

Chloe was in a fight stance right in front of Ari, legs spread, ready to charge.

Raven bowed “i wouldn’t expect any less from you little one” winking at Chloe, smiling he removed his belt and sword tossing them down on the ground. Biting his thumb to draw blood he drew symbols onto the ground “anything we can summon huh....” an evil grin cane across his face as he smiled, slamming his hand down into the middle of the symbols a black hole opened up, a dark and ancient energy was released as raven reached in pulling a violin and bow from the blackness. The violin and bow were both made from various races body parts. “This is one of the thirteen weapons of hell, my wife’s favorite choice” raising the violin he placed it under his chin and began to play. As he played more black holes opened up, the damned and undead rising from them as he started to walk he closed his eyes. “Let us dance to the tune of the damned!” He said still playing. His eyes glowing red as his playing grew faster, the sky warping as clouds formed, dark clouds, almost all light was blocked out except for Raven’s blood red eyes and chloe’s Shimmering coat.

"Excellent choice in song. Also, obscuring my aim immediately with a crafty technique." Ari drew his bow. He couldn't get a clear shot with no light. However, all the light he needed for a good shot was in Raven's eyes. "Better close those eyes, Rook......... Stillpiercer." A tornado whipped up around Ari. He released his bow to another massive sonic boom which blew away any approaching undead. The arrow was aimed under the red glow of Raven's eyes, approximately where his chest would be. Stillpiercer was made to pierce armor, so it flew through everything in its path. Any undead hit was destroyed

Ari looked down at Chloe. The only other light source was from her coating. He knelt down and looked at her, ignoring the slow approaching undead. The numbers didn't matter right now, as they were all weak. If anything, it seemed like Raven used it to keep his bow from getting to him. "Chloe, I need you to do something big for me."
"Of course, master!"
"I need you to run in and generate some light so I can get a good shot. I'll protect you from anything that tries to hurt, but move fast. Don't worry, I can definitely keep it. I need you to be my eyes........"
".....So you can be the blade," Chloe nodded and turned around to the approaching undead. "Shine!" A small bubble of light appeared around her, lighting up a small area around her. She took off, ducking and weaving through the undead, using her high speed and small stature to stay out of harm's way.

Ari tracked Chloe's movements with ease and fired all around her whenever something tried to strike her. His bigger focus, however, was Rook. This was an endless undead fight unless that weapon was destroyed. Chloe was just a highly unpredictable source of light.........to Raven. Ari and Chloe had a psychic bond. He already knew where she would go.

Alison Foster
Castle Garden
Alison sensed it all from Uriko. It wasn't a good feeling to Alison, but she swallowed the thoughts. She grabbed his hand again and continued talking while walking. Unfortunately, she couldn't stop to talk to him due to the physical condition he was in. That was, butt naked in public. Sometimes, a mother had to play the bad guy. "Uriko. Some things in this world are too complex to understand immediately. Learning to how read people's intention is hard. If I didn't make you think I wanted to hurt you, the guards would've attacked you. Remember that pirate? It would've been much worse and we'd have been killed for trying to save you. What I made you think I would've done, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do because I just love you too much." Alison wasn't speaking like a mother, but rather as a teacher or mentor if anything. He had a lot to learn, and she was the only one who could teach him. Arabelle had Ryan, Ari had Willow, Tyr and Bailey had their own family. That left him with Alison, and.......... despite the fact that he got on her last nerves consistently, she wouldn't want it any other way. It was a complex situation that put her in a hell of a place, and to keep control of the world around her, she had to make an executive decision.

Uriko

He listened to Alison. Her words weren't all making sense, even with her attempts to make it easily understood. The language barrier didn't help. She mentioned the event where he was on death's door and she came to rescue him. After recalling the event he held gripped her hand with tears streaming down his face. The memory reaffirmed that Alison still cared, but the child was still deeply hurt and confused. The ink like substance receded from his limbs and vanished from his body and the hollow whisper that flowed through his mind was silenced. He still felt the tightness in his heart for his trust in his guardian had been broken, but he still loved her.

With the rising of the moon, Uriko's horn began to glow the same the same light. A motherly warmth enveloped him then spread to Alison. Alison could almost hear a faint 'thank you' coming from a woman who was not there.

Without much chatter he went with Alison to their chambers where he waited for his bath to be prepared. "Alison.." he began, "Uriko am not sorry for ruining uncomfortable cloth. Uriko am sorry for costing Alison. So Uriko will make up."

Alison knew Uriko well enough that she knew he was going to gather things from around the castle and present them to Ari to make up the debt. She'd have to keep a keener eye on him tomorrow.

Bailey O'Connor & Queen Anora
War Room
The room, despite the abundance of tension in the air, was quiet. Bailey and Anora sat beside each other, the councilmen stood behind them, and they were now just waiting for the Orcs king to activate the com stone delivered to him for the purpose of these talks. It was safer to do it this way, and incase they failed, they could get to work right away. The fires from the nearby braizers gave the room and eerie light, as the dark of night crept in through the large windows, giving the room an almost flaming effect. That would work if the nature of what was about to happen.

"You're highness, are you sure negotiations are a good idea? The orcs are a brutish, backwards people, this will most likely not end the way you hope it will," The councilman spoke up, after a few minutes on debating on whether he should say it or not.

Anora threw him a glare over her shoulder. "I wouldn't speak ill of them just yet, you never know how these things will turn out. So, we at least have to try to prevent going to war. If we must fight them, than so be it. But I will not allow wad to be declared with no attempts at preventing it in the first place." Despite her young age, Anora was hardly a childish Queen. She knew what she was doing.

Bailey decided to join the conversation. "Isn't it better this way Councilman?" She asked, "While of course we can go to war, you would like to keep me away from any more power. My title as general right now is simply a...formality. We go to war, and it becomes a permamt addition."

That seemed to strike a cord with him, "Of course, my apologies." It was no secert that Councilman Lyklor (gave him a name) disliked Bailey. Despised her even because of her half blood status. Yumara had a tendency to flirt with humans and even had then as casual partners, but nobody expected her to have children with one. Nathaniel Hall was the blight that led to Bailey. And in Lyklor's eyes, the end of thousands of years of tradition. Taking step back, he once again fell into silence.

Coincidently, this was at the same time the com stone flickered to life, giving way to the Orcs leader. Silug the something or another, his name wasn't the important part. He was the man in charge, and their last hope at stopping this war before it even started.

"Goodevening, I hope y-" The Queen started, before she was interrupted by a huff.

"Lets skip the pleasantries, that's not why we're talking."

Bailey smiled, "Lets get down to business then."

Raven made no reply to his friendly opponent, he only closed his eyes and stepped off to the side as the arrow first fired grazed his cheek. Beginning to dance among the undead, the playing I’ve the music growing faster, as did the undead movements. The undead horde encroaching on Ari’s position, swinging wildly at him with their assortment of weapons. Raven no long able to summon the horde or hold the weapon returned it to the underworld. Smiling as Baumet dive bombed on Chloe from his perch. “You forgot about my other weapons I had on the field!” He yelled and laughed as Baumet returned to Raven, turning back into his scythe. Raven opened his eyes, seeming to weave through the undead, using them as shields to get closer to Ari.

Baumet was NOWHERE NEAR fast enough to hit Chloe head on, especially considering how erratically she was moving. She was, however blown back by the blast radius and sent into a zombie's face, who's had promptly exploded from a bolt to the head from Ari

The undead were getting closer and closer, but it meant nothing to Ari since........."DIVEBOMB!!" A huge concussive blast of shredding wind unleashed as Misty, in her huge form, crashed right into the stage, aiming directly for Raven. Even if it didn't hit him though, the blast would either knock him away from Ari or stagger him towards Ari, leaving him wide open. "Yea you forgot mine as well. This is a real Divebomb."
All the undead creeping up were blasted away again. Ari drew his bow again and fired, aiming for the same spot. A little under Rook's eyes, where his chest would be. The Arrow split into 3, making it harder to dodge. Ari was holding back his best spells for the fight when it got a little deeper

Alison ran the water and motioned for him to get in, hoping he wouldn't do his usual and go running off. Stakes were a bit higher than usual, and Ari getting mad wasn't even the biggest of their issues. "Don't go stealing things from the castle Uriko. The guards will attack you. Don't worry about the clothing either. I won't make you wear them again, but you have to wear SOMETHING. You can't walk about naked."

Alison heard a voice. He immediately went for her sword, standing protectively in front of Uriko, then stopped when she heard the words. She wasn't inclined enough to know about supernatural phenoma as they affected her. Her knowledge of magic and the supernatural didn't mean she could sense it. She chuckled, somewhat nervously. "I'm hearing stuff. I can't serve my master if I'm delusional." she said

Raven hardened his skin taking the blast and arrows head on, putting his arms up infront of him to absorb the physical attack, his scythe absorbing the energy from the blast. When the dust settled Raven’s armor on his entire upper body fell to the ground in a molten pile. “That wasn’t very nice....” breathing heavily as his metallic skin gleamed in the moonlight. Standing up he started walking towards Ari, hurling the scythe at him as he made a dash for the sword. Rolling across the ground he picked it up. Upon coming out of the roll he hurled the sheith and belt at Chloe. The armor that covered his skin made him nearly invulnerable to attacks, it however didn’t cover his head or lower body. After catching up some momentum he slid across the ground spinning, aiming a slash for Ari’s thighs, coming out of the spin he brought his claws upwards, aiming for the string of the bow.

Misty, Chloe, and Ari Waesmor

Raven didn't get far. Misty was massive, a giant hard to miss target who just destroyed his armor and most his horde, and he chose to ignore her. Big mistake, as Misty just plucked him off the ground and threw him away before he could attack Ari. If they weren't on a training field, he'd have gone through like 6 of these castle walls. Instead, he hit the barrier full force

The sheath hit Chloe, but it was really just a distraction. One that worked, but ultimately harmless. It hit her right in the head and caused her to stagger a bit

"See, Rook, I'm an expert at the game of keepaway. If you close the gap, you win. It's just that simple." Ari drew his bow, 5 arrows notched, and aimed right for his head. They'd fly through Misty's legs. "Let's see your reaction skill." Ari fired all 5 and they all immediately split up into 5 different paths, 1 faster straight, one much slower beside it, 2 flying off to the right and left almost 90 degrees from the straight path, and the last moved drunkenly, flying completely erratically. They were all glowing blue.

Ari was controlling 5 arrows at once, and all 5 would end up hitting if not dealt with. Misty stood massive in front of Ari (Ari shot between her legs) and Chloe was on her back now.

Rook would have to pull a hat trick to close the gap though Chloe and Misty while dodging arrows. Ari now had the field and he hasn't even brought out Suzu

Raven looked up, only partially able to lift himself off the ground, Laughing as he looked back, his blood dripping from the barrier as he was struck by the arrows, tearing through his body. Falling over onto his knees he laughed as his blood flowed on the ground to Ari’s feet. “That...I didn’t see Misty, that’s true” coughing blood up as he talked and held his arm over the wholes in his body “Ari you never mentioned what you were?” He asked as his blood kept spilling from his body, an abnormal amount. Throwing more blood up he fell onto his chest, the fields healing hadn’t activated yet. He lay still, breathing, gasping for air.

To address Alison's concerns about him stealing Uriko began to cite a creed his eldest sister made him memorize in common and in their native tongue. "Now this is law of jungle, as old and true as the sky,
And wolf that keep it may prosper, but wolf that break it must die." he climbed into the tub eager to get the stinky gel out of his hair.

He looked to Alison as he finished his citation "If plunder kill from a weaker, devour not all in pride,
Pack-right is right of the meanest; leave him him head and hide" He crossed his arms and held his chin high, "Uriko not steal. Uriko leave what Uriko not need." unfolding his arms he flexed his right bicep showing it off. "Uriko stronger than guards. If they want fight Uriko knock'em out" It was obvious that it hadn't sunk into his thick skull that he wasn't as strong as he thought he was without his abundance of hair. His pink locks were now falling just below his ears; it was growing rather quickly.

She grabbed him and tossed him in the tub. "You're NOT fighting the guards, Uriko." Alison said firmly. "You'll get us all thrown out. You're not taking what's not yours either." Alison didn't know about how Uriko's hair connected to his strength, but Ari did and it was him who told her. Cut that shit off and he'll be normal for a change, he said to her. Alison couldn't cut it off because Uriko probably had no idea. He'd go and try to take things from the castle, get into a fight and end up dead because he'd think he'd have the strength, but not have it. "I'm not letting you put yourself in danger for something that worked out just fine. If you want to do other stuff, we can go do that, but you're not sneaking around this castle. I'll have to smack you with my mace if I catch you."

Chloe, Misty, and Ari Waesmor
Ari drew his bow with 5 more arrows. Raven looked to be in a bad place, but Ari wasn't dumb enough to just close the gap. He did it once and it nearly got him killed. No matter what, stick to the plan. His forte in life. Archery. Fuck what the gods had to say about it. "Just a man who makes contracts with gods and likes to kill. A father, archer, master, teacher, pirate captain." He shot all 5 again in the same controlled pattern, trying to land the killing blow. Unless he had a trick up his sleeve, it was all over and the field would activate.

He grimaced at the thought of adding yet another knot on his noggin. "Fine, Uriko no take." he sank into the water letting in engulf him from head to toe. After a few seconds his head popped out. "When we go hunt, we hunt with Mavrick and pack." A genuine smile began to form on his face as he thought about the wolf that found him and the wolf that cooked his deer. He hadn't really been smiling since the airship incident. "Ari will call them. Uriko will teach Willow, Ryan to hunt. Then we feed entire house" A spark of joy glimmered in his eye as he talked about hunting and skinning animals. He constantly reminded Alison how good a hunter he was and recalled stories of his hunts in the jungle. Some details were clearly over exaggerated.

The blood of Raven’s that had been splattered and splashed all of the field jolted up forming spikes. It started with the blood under Ari’s feet and moved out like a ripple effect as soon as Ari had started to release the bow. “If I’m going down....you are all going with me!” He roared, the barrier being the first setup to his trap, each move he forced Ari to make was calculated down to that very moment, the barrier to limit movement and increase the area effect of this attack, the blood of the damned and dead with his own to paint and cover the field, true even if the arrows were throw Off path Raven would be hit by his own attack and killed either way.

A spike shattered Ari's personal shield and pierced his foot. It broke his concentration on the arrows, causing them to fall down uselessly. He fell to his knees and another spike pierced his hands. A spike pierced his stomach and he coughed up blood. Using Telekinesis, he snapped the blood spikes out and floated himself up in the air. It hurt to breathe and his stomach poured blood, but he forced words out. "MISTY!! Finish him NOW!!!"

Misty roared in pain as multiple spikes dug into her underbelly. Still, she was massive and she couldn't be stopped that easily. Crying tears of intense pain, she jumped straight up and spread her wings, roaring even louder as the spikes slid out of her underbelly, a roar intense enough to shake the very ground they were all on. Misty only wanted to do one thing right now. Her eyes glowed red and she was furious. "YOU HURT MY MASTER!!!" She divebombed straight for Raven. Chloe jumped at Misty's front, her horn straight out, magically extended to a length that's actually usable as a blade to impale her target.

With nothing left to do, Misty and Chloe crashed in, ending everything in a massive shiny Wind Explosion. The field activated with a bright white light and healed all their injures, and repaired and cleansed the field. It was as if they never started fighting in the first place. Any and all injuries and pain healed.

Alison had no idea how wolves worked in a pack, so there was no way in hell she was hunting with wolves, nor had she any idea if Ari still even had the wolves at his command with his magic change. "As long as you have someone to look after you and you catch something big." She said with a smile and started washing him, especially that hair. Upkeep of that hair was hell on Earth, but knowing what Ari said about it kept her from wanting to cut it. He started talking about hunting and being a hunter. He seemed to enjoy it, and he exaggerated a lot of what he said, but she got the gist if it quite easily. "Maybe if you bring something HUGE back, my master would stop being so hard on you, so give it your all."

Raven got off the ground quickly, roaring as he looked around and patted his chest breathing heavily. “I thought I died.....” he said and looked to Chloe, Misty, then Ari. With a winded look on his face he smiled. “Remind me....to never fight you again...as weak as I am...” walking over to Chloe he gently pet her head and laughed “good fight little one, I think your master would be very proud of your performance tonight” a hearty Laugh coming from him as he stood back to look at Ari. Holding his arm out shake Ari’s “grab my forearm, that was a glorious fight. I bet with at full strength and if you were fighting for your family or we were truly serious that battle would have lasted for days!” Excited by how it went despite what would and somewhat did happen to them. “I definetly would not want to walk into you in a back alley my friend, you fight with plenty of spirit and your tact in battle is smart, your familiars are great at creating openings”

Ari pet Misty and Chloe. Misty had shrunk back into her normal size, about the size of a puppy, only a little bigger than Chloe. He beamed at them. "I couldn't ask for better companions. I owe it all to you two. I couldn't have won without you." Like literally he wouldn't have physically been able to kill Raven. They both purred loudly, Chloe feeling like she was wrapped in a heavenly feeling produced by the petting and the praise.
"Done with love and care, master." Chloe said with a sweetness like someone made her out of sugar and molasses.

Misty, however, was a lot less formal with how she talked to Ari. She flipped on her back, showing her belly. "Oooohhhhh yea. I took spikes in this belly for you. Your belly rubs are magical."

He turned to Raven, looking up from where he still pet the two of them. "Hey, I've been working with different familiars for about a decade now, Misty for 4 of those." Ari shook his hand with a smile. "Still, I never seen anyone use a horde with an overarching plan in mind. You got me the closest to death in forever. You display a level of cleverness that could've killed me had you been at full strength." Ari hadn't had a fight that exhilarating since Khan's endless demon army. "In one fell swoop you damn near turned it on its head." If Raven had a trick to recover health or something, the battle would've turned out MUCH differently. Ari really didn't see himself winning again a Full Powered Raven, and that was enough to humble him somewhat. After a decade of never having lost, never even coming close to it to the point where he never bothered to learn healing magic, knowing that Raven at full power was probably stronger than how Ari was now knocked him down a level or two. He didn't need a horde of familiars or insane magic. All he needed was his roots: A couple of good familiars and his bow, and just enough magic to amplify it. Ari hadn't come to respect anyone as fast as he came to respect Raven, not even Arabelle or Tyr

"I've learn a few things for sure." Ari stood up. "Now you need to see things as they've changed since you've been sealed."

Tyr smiled, and downed another bottle of ale, before tossing it in a small pile near the icebox. He had spent the last half an hour getting trashed in his room. He had started to forget about earlier that night, a he decided to go and take a bath. He didn't care about what Ari or Bailey or anyone else thought. He was gonna do what he wanted and didn't give a shit about what people said anymore. It didn't matter. He was just gonna do what he wanted. Everyone else could kiss his ass.

Selra was out in the training grounds practicing her sword strikes. While it wasn't as useful as actually being in combat it helped her form. And 500 pushups could only go so far. If she wanted to get any better she had to work on her stance and basic swings. Both of which she hoped would go a long way. If she did not pass Ari's trial there went her best chance. And with the knowledge Noam had given her she had to close the gap. "But if he can summon like Noam I would be at a disadvantage." Then she realized she had two greatswords. And an idea hit her. "It's a stretch but maybe..." Selra began muttering as she went to find Ari. She had a possible strategy. And maybe it would work. Especially if he could summon like Noam.

“I see, I would not mind seeing what has changed since my time away” Raven picked his equipment up putting it all back on. “Would it be okay with you if I met your children and wife? From what I now know about you you must have a wonderful family “ resting his hand on the hilt of his sword he walked back over to Ari, taking in the feeling of the night air. “I guess we should head back inside, the negotiations should be getting interesting by now, at least then we would know if war is coming and to prepare”

Ari put the bow on his back. He really didn't want to go back inside, but if there was something to do other than the party, he figured why not. "Aye. Since you're undead and use Dark Magic, don't be surprised if my youngest son either hates or avoids you and my youngest daughter loves you. It's a very long and complicated story that's hard to explain without revealing some bad details." He sighed. "All you need to know is that my youngest aren't mine biologically and that they're demi-god twins the opposite in every way. They're by far the strongest in magic of Holy and Dark Magic. Highly unstable."
Ari started walking back in the castle. He had gotten rid of all his bloodlust and was the calmest he had been in a long time. "Misty, go make sure Tyr doesn't kill himself."
Misty nodded. "Aye!" She flew off towards Tyr's room

They would encounter Selra in the halls of the castle.

“I see, hopefully I would be able to change his opinion of some dark beings, we aren’t all as bad as we are made out to be” laughing nervously while he scratched his head. “Lead the way my friend, I love kids, always full of life and energy....naive and innocent....remember those days?” Smiling as he thought of all the young ones that would come to visit and hear stories of his travels and the wars he fought in before the kingdom had been formed. Smiling he looked at Ari “my daughter would have made a fine bride....it’s a shame she didn’t make it...” his smile fading a bit while his hand shifted to the flask.

Selra had been walking for a bit until she encountered Ari and some other person in the halls. "Oh Mr.Waesmor I was just looking for you. I was wondering about that test Noam had mentioned. But I just realized it is late and well it may not be best for us to do it for tonight. I don't wish to keep you from your family. But if you don't mind I do have some questions for you. If you don't mind me asking."

"Well when your presence can literally make him sick, I wouldn't be surprised. Just a word of warning. It's not you, but the magic you give off," Ari said. "My oldest are a lot less judgemental." He took Raven into the Waesmor Chambers with Arabelle and the kids, older and younger, waiting. "Oi, Arabelle. This here is my friend. You can both go through the formalities. I'm starving for something other than h'orderves, crackers, and cookies.........Come, Chloe." Ari walked off to go find the kitchen for some actual food. Magic burns calories like hell
"I want more cake, Master," Chloe said, walking beside Ari
"Ick. You need more than cake, Chloe.......but since you did well, I'll let you have some more cake."
Chloe squealed a bit at the prospect. Her sweet tooth was insatiable and she needed a sweet fix. "Thank you master!" She was grinning as she said it. Ari couldn't help but smile.

Willow walked up to Raven as soon as Ari left. As Ari said, she was instantly smitten with Raven. Awestruck. She bombarded him with questions with no particular direction to them. It was like she'd met an idol and her brain was just generating static. Being someone of darkness, Willow had absolutely no shyness when it came to them. It was just overwhelming curiosity, just like with the shadow girl attached to Arabelle. "Ahhhh. Are you an ancient demon? Someone was fighting Daddy.......did you win? Was it a good fight? What was it like in Ancient Times?"
Being someone of Darkness, how would Ryan react?

Castle Halls

In the halls, Ari and Chloe encountered Selra. She wanted to know about the test Noam mentioned. She meant the grueling 5 minute survival test that Ari was infamous for. "Oh, Selra. I'm about to go and eat first if you want to join. Afterwards, I'll be up for another fight to see where you stand in your current magic knowledge and abilities." He picked Chloe up and put her on his shoulder. "I'll pick your brain a bit about the happenings of your home country so I can know more. Come. You can get some food on me. These nobles don't feed people real food."
