Jake glanced back at Lyra "O hi Lyra your up, Whats this ow it's..... Nothing it's just some demon blood, That might be able to cure your sickness." Jake shifted uncomfortably, he was not trying to get her hopes up knowing it might not work. "Ummmm...... I'm just going to go over here and work on it a little more, But first I need a sample of your blood why your probably thinking well..... your blood has the poison in it and I need to try to get that poison out of your blood I don't know how to get it out but we will think of something" Jake grabbed a sharp stick of his table "this will only heart a little bit" Jake told Lyra but he was thinking "This is going to hurt a lot brace yourself" And the next thing he knew the needle was in her arm. There was enough blood in the needle he could work with, He gently pulled out the needle, "See that wasn't so bad right"

Aria was up on her feet, her hands clenched into fists, her eyes bearing a look of i will kill you if you kill her on her face as she watched the needle pierce Lyra's arm, she really wanted this to work, ''i don't want to lose any more people'' she said under her breath and waited for the blood to do it's work[/i]

Min Lao Shi quickly glanced at Tai and Clara before addressing Lucifer, a smile playing out on his face. They were so eager to fight. They sought justice, perhaps vengeance, for what had been done to their people. But this was not the place. A fight here would only end two ways. 1.) They engage the Dark One and he retrogrades back to his nation, with a desire for revenge and causing more bloodshed. 2.) Same outcome as 1, only some of them might die in the process.
Either way, nothing would be solved and no valuable information would be obtained.
Min Lao Shi gave a curt nod toward Clara and smiled at her warmly before shifting his gaze back to Lucifer. "We came to look upon your nation, as you probably have summarized." Min replied, his face stoic and emotionless. Min couldn't describe this feeling that washed over him. Was it instinct? Certainty? He wasn't sure, but he knew what he needed to do. "We have failed, so I offer myself, The Representative of the Earth Kingdom, as your prisoner, in exchange for four weeks time of peace. Once that time has ended, you may dispose of me as you see fit. I am old, my time is coming to an end, use this to your advantage to showcase your power."
Min Lao Shi joined his hands in front as he looked back at the group. "Clara, take the group back to the city and tell my son and daughter what is to become of me. They will assume the Mantle of Earth." Min Lao Shi smiled and bowed before the group before turning to face Lucifer once again. "Whenever you're ready."

He emerged out of the fire as if he was part of the flames, and walked towards the Earth representative standing so close to him their faces were about to touch. With heat radiating from Lucifer's eyes he leaned slightly and whispered in Min's ear: ''I'm not stupid''
Staying like that for a moment he backed off now looking at Clara and Tai, reaching his hands out to cup their chins as he looked from one to the other: ''you humans are beautiful'' he muttered mainly to himself: ''pity''
With a sigh the demon put his hands behind his back and walked around the fire thinking, he then dramatically turned around facing them and grinned happily. Lucifer loved riddles, he loved company and most of all he loved watching people run around trying to figure stuff out, the psychopath loved drama, but he was nothing without an audience. ''How about'' he started walking slowly towards them once again: ''you get what you were looking for'' he gave a dramatic pause then continued: ''no general of the shadow kingdom can face me, though they are strong and worthy. We had an opportunity to look upon your kingdom so i don't really see what stops you from doing the same. It's not as if you can disturb the peace of our kingdom.....it's already chaotic'' he said the last sentence between giggles covering his mouth with his fingers mischievously to stop laughing . ''how ever! I do not guarantee you coming out of there in one peace'' Lucifer now stood in front of Tai, he gave the young man a kiss on the lips to startle him.The demon touched his hat showing curtsy then disappeared leaving a trail of burnt path on the ground leading towards the tunnel which hid the gate to the shadow kingdom behind it. The burning path was merely to spite the Earth bender, the black flames ate through the ground as if hurting the core of the Earth.

The Scales
"Min Lao you fool!" Tai yells emerging from the shadows again. Water warmed the edges of his eyes, blurring his vision. "You don't have to do this! We can face him!" He yells again, a look of firm and grim resolve painting his face. The water that blurred his vision now runs freely down his cheeks, slowly rising off of his face as steam.
Min Lao reminded Tai so much of his grandfather in the earth kingdom, letting Lucifer take him would be madness. While in his thoughts, the flawless demon moved toward Tai, and he felt frozen against him. As he cupped Tai and Clara's chin, Tai tried his best to move or react...but nothing. After Lucifer had removed his touch from Tai's face, he began swatting at the air, trying to remove a touch that was already gone.
Lucifer continued speaking, and Tai watched in a trance almost, unsure of when or how to react. Lucifer's words were a blur, and Tai felt his mind's grasp on his body fading, until he felt a gentle brush on his lips, and caught a glimpse of black flames as the sickening aura of Lucifer faded.
"What the hell.." He said to himself, going over in his mind what had just happened. It was when he went to cradle his head that he felt the moistness on his cheeks, and remembered that he had been crying. He looked to Min Lao and could see the calm expression on his face. It was then when Tai turned to Clara.
"Are you alright?"

Lovable Nuisance
Moon shrugged uncomfortably, this trip was way out of his zone. He was used to wandering yes, even being in dangerous situations was a familiar thing, but all of that was to learn, to gather herbs, to find great teachers. He had lived in the mountains by himself for nearly a month just to study effects of a certain plant that might have existed. Combat though, scouting teams, and revenge, these things weren't his story. Albeit it wasn't like he hadn't had revenge before . .
Thinking back he remembered the time he returned to his home, just for a day. He found the one who had bullied and tortured him all his life, and he had had his revenge. He had waited for the right time, before the bully; Zane, had gone to bed. Slipped into his home and poured three drops of brilliant blue liquid into his water. Later than night he heard the screams of Zane mingled with his family's. The elixir had been one to cause madness, and threw Zane into a bloodlust, so he killed his family, only coming to his senses when his daughter lay in his hands, with her throat slit.
Moon gasped slightly, that night had been horrible, yet exhilarating. Was that the sort of thing what was to come in the future? Was that what he wanted to do with his life?
(I want to apologize for not being around; I got really sick, and right now my classes are trying to strangle me. I won't be gone like that again, ^^ thansk for putting up with me.)

James wandered about before having enough of the forest and starting fires on multiple trees, watching with a smirk.

Tai staggers a bit, reeling in his attempt to remain standing. Silent slow gurgles can be heard, to those that may hear over the raging flames of the forest. A closer look from any of his comrades, would see a large hand made of shadows, cupping his mouth. Tai resists as best as he can.
"Fucking..ahhh! Help me!"
The raven haired boy squirms in his desperate attempt cling to life.
"Grahh!! His body explodes in flame, over and over again. In short bursts, he can be seen completely without flame on his body, and in an instant immolated again.
The creature isn't phased.
Vessel of purity and courage, die.
"H-help me...!"
As his eyes fade to blackness, and his oxygen starved brain begins to shut down, Tai reaches for his katana and draws it, flailing pointlessly.
Do not resist!
Tai's hands slowly open, and his weapon falls from his hand. He rests there, in the embrace of the unseen shadow being. Tears of pain and distress streak down his red cheeks, his eyes are completely bloodshot from the rupturing of blood-vessels.
The child floats, his life beat almost completely extinguished, when he feels the warm embrace of flame against his skin. Tai opens his eyes and finds himself in the arms of the goddess of fire, the tears stream even more profusely.
"My love, my ember of justice and passion, of rage. Do you see it?"
"Yes, Lady Pele..."
"Do you know the rest, My love?"
"But I, i'm finished...look at me."
Pele, the goddess of fire resides in her otherworldly castle, in the roof of the world. Beneath the two, the floor paints the brutal scene of Tai's flames being snuffed, under the gasp of this terrible creature.
"I will lend you my aid, and in death, you will find yourself enlightened. And you may rest here, under the eternal sun's embrace."
"But Pele... I don't want to go! I haven't learned your technique yet, I never learned to use your thunder!"
"Take me into your womb, and embrace the flame."
"Grahhh...ghhh!" Tai's soul is forcefully slammed into his body, as he regains his senses, he lays limp for a few short moments.
"Here goes.." Suddenly, instead of immolating himself in flame, his body is engulfed in the breath of 1000 storms. Lightning surges through his bones, the only type of flame to burn the beast behind him.
Tai knew this would be his last attack, for he had not learned the forms to correctly utilize the hands of the clouds, the lightning passes through his heart, and takes with it Tai's life.
"Ugh.." Was the last sound heard before the beast dashed back into the darkness, screeching a rending roar as it did.
"Fucking..ahhh! Help me!"
