Celeste was shuffling through her songs, playing with her hair, and also shivering from the cold. You'd think she would already be on her way inside the building, connecting with the warmth, but she just wasn't in the mood to socialise with anyone but Ashley. Celeste felt a vibration on her leg and then a loud 'ding', she smiled with enthusiasm as she rummaged through her bag, tryna get a grab of her phone.


She opened her and Ashley's text, not bothering to reply back as she could see her, Drew, and some others parking up. Celeste could feel her cheeks warming up and slight butterflies in her stomach, Drew and Ashley always flirted with each other which made Celeste feel really uncomfortable and jealous since she's had this huge crush on him since 7th grade. she's always thought that Drew liked Ashley, she's always thought that Ashley was so much more prettier than her.


Without hesitation, she pulled out a cigarette and stuck it between her teeth, she's a smoker, she mostly only smokes when she's feeling stressed though. Before she had time to pull out her lighter, she saw Ashley running over to her, face full of delight and happiness. Celeste smiled and gave her a little wave before wrapping her arms around her, giving a big squeeze. "Baby girl, we're gonna kick some ass this year." She said, laughing, cigarette still hanging out her mouth. Celeste removed her arms around Ashley and instead held her hand as she rested on the tree. She looked straight in front of her, and there he was, the most gorgeous, sexiest boy in the school walking towards her, she moved her fringe a little, away from her forehead, and patted her skirt down, ready to impress. But then, he stopped and got distracted which kinda pissed her off.


Celeste stood up, putting her cigarette back into her packet and into her bag, "You coming in sweetie?" She said to Ashley, holding her hand out and giving her a sweet smile.

After the little confrontation with the Ballers, Drew turned his attention back to Celeste. He kept walking forward, Ted whistling a bit, and yelling "Go get her, Drew!" He replied "Chill, I'm working on it." Ted laughted and Drew walked up to Celeste, smiling. "Hey, Celeste. Look, uhhh....I've had interest in you since around 7th grade and, well, I've never had the courage to tell you about it, or make a move. The way you move and talk, it overwhelms me. The subtle ways you flirt leave me dumbfounded, stricken with the question 'is she interested or is she just being nice?'. But over the summer I promised myself that this was the year. This was the year that I'd finally be with the most attractive girl in Grandview High. And I'm determined to make that promise true. I'm a man of my word." Drew said, and he bit his lip. Really, it was because he was EXTREMELY nervous, but he tried to make it seem like because of attraction, moving his eyes up and down Celeste's beautiful body. He then said it.


"Celeste, will you go out with me?"


People started cheering, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" And after a bit people just closed their mouths, waiting in silent anticipation of Celeste's answer.

In the corner of Celeste's eyes, she could see Drew walking towards her. She began to get butterflies in her stomach, once again. Celeste's eyes widened when she heard the words that come out of his mouth. She quickly looked over at Ashley and mouthed 'what the fuck.' She couldn't lie though, she was glad that Drew asked her out instead of Ashley, she was certainly pleased.


Celeste though had no idea what to say, but being the Queen Bee she is, she definitely couldn't say yes straight away, so instead she simply walked up to him, whispered in his ear "is that the best you can do?", kissed him on the cheek and brushed passed him.


Celeste couldn't stop smiling to herself as she walked off, she quickly glanced back and motioned for Ashley to come over.

Lance stretched lazily as his alarm rang. He glanced over at his watch and jumped when he saw how late it was. He threw on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. He ran downstairs and grabbed a package of pop tarts along with his backpack as he headed out the door. He jumped over the door of his car since the roof was down and started it. He crammed half a poptart in his mouth as he backed out of the driveway. By the time he reached the school he was only a couple minutes late, since he had sped almost the whole way. He ran inside and found his locker, depositing all his things in it except for the books he needed. He glanced at one of the clocks on the wall and saw that he wasn't really late. He looked down at his watch and saw that it was almost ten minutes fast. He sighed and moved the hand back. He stuck his earphones in and leaned against his locker while he waited, watching the other students wander around.

Ashley had to admit she was a little upset that Drew asked out Celeste instead of her, but she had to be happy for her friend.


"Awwweeeeee." She said, before noticing Celest walk off.


She turned and sped after Celeste and smiled.


"So I am asuming you're going to say yes?" She asked with a smirk on her face.


She wrapped her fingers around the strap of her backpack. She was definitely happy for Celeste, no doubt about it. She'd be with one of the cutest guys in school. Plus Ashley couldn't be trusted in relationships so maybe this was good.

Drew raised his eyebrows as he was kissed by her, and he looked behind his shoulder, watching her walk off, swooshing his tounge around the inside of his mouth. Damn it. He knew she liked him, she had to. Alot of people booed, some laughted, and about 9 different posts went up on Instagram talking about it. One had "Drew asks Celeste out, is real sweet about it, but Celeste walks away from him without a yes or a no? What's going through the mind of the Queen right now!? Has she finally gone insane?" Drew, Ted, and a couple other friends went into the School, heading to their lockers.

Skyellar pulled into the parking lot rather quickly and slipped into her parking spot. She grabbed her things and got out, locking her car before slipping her keys in to the side pocket of her bag. Knowing her payments didn't like her wearing shorts to school so she never did. Rushing into a nearby bathroom, she pulled her skinny jeans off and a pair of scissors before snipping at them, creating a pair of shorts to show off the majority of her legs. Sliding them back on, she discarded the excess fabrics before walking out and pulling out her phones. She wasn't as invested in textin as everyone else around the school, since she preferred to talk anyway. Sliding her phone into her front left pocket, she began looking around for Evan, making sure not to run into everyone walking around. She hadn't seen him all summer and she nearly died from that, so her main goal now was to find him. She saw him from across the hall and smiled widely as she silently walked up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist with a smile and resting her head against his spine, inhaling in his scent deeply.


Trey pulled in about 10 minutes after his sister and headed inside, heading straight to his locker. He placed his things inside and slammed it shut...the only way to make it close completely. Turning around, he smiled at some people that smiled and waved, but he looked around, trying his best to find Dani, but with no such luck.

Celeste hooked arms with Ashley as they walked into the building. "Of course I am, silly." She said, giving her a wink. Her first class was about to start soon, so she gave Ashley a quick kiss and hug, "text me later, yeah?" She said, giving her another kiss and heading off.


She wasn't really bothered about her class starting, all she wanted to do was find Lucas. Lucas was great to Celeste, there has never been a time where Celeste has felt unsafe around him. He was always looking after her and protecting her as if she was his little sister.


Walking through the corridor of the school, she saw a lot of familiar faces, some that completely disgusted her.


Five minutes after her goal to find Lucas, she finally saw him. "Oioi!", she shouted across the corridor to him, running up and giving him a big hug. "How you doing, stud?" She said, poking him in the chest.

Evan was about to look for Skyellar when he felt someone wrap her arms around his waist and immediately knew who it was. He was glad to finally see her after so long without her and having to be with his brother and his dumb girlfriend. He quickly turned around and kissed Skyellar on the lips before she could react, the kiss lasted for a while before he finally broke the kiss and smiled at her. "Hey babe, I'm so glad I finally get to see you again. Not being with you nearly killed me, I had to go to the beach with Jonathan and Elizabeth for a MONTH" he groaned. "How was your summer?"


Jonathan groaned when he heard his brothers name and shrugged. "He's the same asshole with asshole friends who all want to see my head on a stick so you get what happened." He replied and began walking towards the theatre with holding Elizabeth's hand. He felt his fun buzzing and checked his instagram notifications that had news about Drew asking Celeste to go out with him and Celeste simply leaving. He knew how much Elizabeth hated both of them so he showed her the news with a smile. "This year is starting pretty well for us don't you think?"

After Drew was done at his locker, he headed to Math with a few friends. He had a notebook, a couple of binders, 3 textbooks, and a few novels he had been reading recently in his backpack. Surprisingly, he was pretty fond of books, and read 'em ever so often. As he was walking to class, he texted Celeste.

Skye was about to say something we even turned around, but she was cut short by the feel of his lips on hers. Feeling a blush creep onto her cheeks, she didn't hesitate to return the kiss, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck before he pulled away. It made her stomach flutter when he admitted that being away from each other nearly killed him, and she could agree. "Well besides rookie camp for freshman and coming up with the halftime routine, how was my summer...? Absolutely horrible," she said as she rested her cheek against his chest. "I couldn't see you all summer and I thought I was going to die! I didn't even go to the beach," she said as she poked her bottom lip out and pouted. "I hated it, though you staying with your brother and his girlfriend... Sorry about that," she said with a small laugh as she looked up at him with grey-blue eyes.

Ashley smiled and nodded then, heard her phone notification and took it out of her back. Her eyes widened when she saw the news.


"Those bastards." She mumbled, starinf at it for a moment longer.


She got a bit mad at the newly recieved information and wasn't hesitant to go and put a stop to it. Although it would be a lot easier if she knew who did it. She had a few people on the list of suspects, but it can wait until free period.


Ash continued her way to her locker and was happy to discover she didn't have a locker near anyone she hated. She stuck her phone in her bra, and grab a few notebook, and text books. She grumbled as she made her way about campus with her notebooks and a textbook in hand. She didn't see anyone she wanted to talk to, so she mde her way to her first class. Math.


Oh that word, it kills her. She hates math, she's never been good at it. She'd have to find someone to help her with her math homework later. When she finally arrived to her deignated class she found a seat near the back and sat. There was still about 4-5 minutes before class started so she decided to text Celeste.

Dani pulled out her phone and started heading for homeroom. She sent out a text to her best friend.

She locked her phone and turned up the music, heading for her homeroom, which would be her first period class, AP Psychology. Dani wasn't very popular at all. Being a nerd, you'd think she'd have at least five nerd friends, right? No, not really. Most people didn't like her. A lot of the reason was because her parents are homosexuals. The other reason, Dani hasn't quite figured it out yet, but she assumed it had to deal with the fact she's more interested in education than getting drunk, doing drugs, and having sex. She was fun and exciting. Right?

"Aww you poor thing" He said playfully in a mocking voice. "Let's pretend that the summer never happened alright? C'mon, let's go to math before we get in trouble" Evan said as he grabbed her hand and walked with her to math class, he usually wouldn't care about getting in trouble but since he was with Skyellar he felt like an asshole for making her get in trouble. Well, most people already saw him as an asshole and he had to admit it was true but he didn't want to loose another girlfriend and pushing his luck was not a good idea.

Elizabeth felt bad for laughing as someone else's problems but she couldn't help to chuckle when Jonathan showed her the news. The fact that the people involved were Drew, a jerk who was usually really mean to her and Jonathan and her ex - friend who she really hated comforted her a bit and gave her a reason to laugh at their misfortune in the first place. She was about to comment about it when she spotted a small girl who was in the drama club with them approaching them. The girl told them the class had been moved and then walked away, Elizabeth let out a groan when she realized that meant they had to go to math class. "Math class, fun. Let's go before the teacher kills us for being late" She said and grabbed his hand again and began walking to the math classroom with him.


They arrived a few minutes later and sat down in the back of the room. "So... Apart from our trip to the beach what did you do this summer? I stayed inside my home watching movies and playing video games the whole summer. It was boring without you around, I'm glad we're finally together again." She said with a smile as she took out a pen and a notebook from her backpack.

Skyellar laughed one of her infectious laughs as she gripped his hand tightly and followed him closely. "You don't have to be all like 'I'm with Skyellar and I don't want her to get in trouble,'" she said with a small smirk, mocking his voice playfully. "Though I can't say I don't appreciate the chivalrous gesture," she said with a wide grin, showing off her perfectly straight teeth.

Drew walked into math with three or four friends after Ashley. The teacher - Ms. Capella, absolutely hated him. And he hated her. They shared a evil glare to eachother. That bitch. Drew then sat in the seat behind Ashley, giving her a smile when their eyes met, yawning, and he started talking with some friends. (Apologies for the shortness. I'm not very descriptive when it comes to this kind of thing.)

Trey heard his phone chime and smiled, seeing it was from Dani. He sent her back a quick text before pushing himself off the lockers and heading against the crowd. Someone bumped into him roughly, causing him to turn around and instinctively shove the guy out the way. He wasn't one for violence but that was just rude. Turning, he continued to AP Psychology, walking in and spotting her instantly. Taking his seat beside her, he smiled and faced her. "Long time, no see short stack."

Evan smirked when she caught up to what he was trying to do. " You're lucky I'm trying not to get you in any trouble but if you want I could make you get in some REAL trouble so we can share detention and maybe a jail cell together." He replied as he entered the math classroom and quickly stopped holding her hand 'bro's before hoes' he though as he walked towards his friends and sat down next to them after giving his younger brother, who was sitting too close to them for his liking an evil glare and then returning his attention to his friends.


Jonathan smiled when he heard what Liz had done during the moth they weren't together, it was good to know that his girlfriend had not changing and was probably not going to change anytime soon. He gave his brother an angry look and quickly flipped him off before the teacher could see him doing it and then returned his attention to Elizabeth. "I wen't to Paris with my family, I bought something for you but I'll give it to you during lunch, I know you like suspense"

Britney shot up and streched. Her alarm was ringing, but she let it keep going. She got out of bed and rubbed her eyes at her mirror. Brit pouted at the sight and said, "You're gonna be late today, aren't you?" She always took a long time to get ready. She washed her face, put on her makeup, and did her hair. Then she got dressed, putting on a blue tank, a white half-jacket, and yoga pants. Then she got in her car and drove over to the school.


She got there and realized pretty much everybody was in homeroom by now. She speedwalked over to her classroom and looked to find a nice seat by a window. She sat down and saw some nerd staring at her, to which she said simply, "Don't even try." She looked ahead and pulled out her phone to text her friends.

Aleyah rolled her eyes as her brother moaned and groaned about how he was sick and tired of her laziness. What was his damn problem? She wasn't lazy, or at least she thought anyway. It wasn't her fault she woke up a bit later than everyone else and wasn't so fast at getting ready. It was only school anyway, they probably hadn't even missed homeroom yet.

After replying, she tucked her phone in her pocket once more before checking back into reality. The car had suddenly came to a halt and her brother was peering at her through the rear view window. She took this as her queue to leave, and before she ran of she ensured to give him a big kiss on the cheek in front of his friends. It was funny really, watching him get all embarrassed like that. Jocks and popular kids always seemed to worry about their reputation, it was quite amusing.


After pushing through the heaps of crowds, trying to avoid being trampled, she finally made he way to the East Wing where her eyes fell quickly on to Isla. She hadn't changed much, in fact Aleyah struggled to see any differences. Isla stood way out of the way of others, and had her same old shy atmosphere around. Typical Isla, of course. Smiling hugely, she quickly ran up to the girl before tapping her on the back.


"Guess who!" She whispered, covering Isla's eyes playfully.

Dani glanced up from her phone and gave Trey a smile. "Am I really that short?" She asked and she shifted all of her attention to Trey. "Yeah. Summer got busy, huh? What did you do all summer?"

She knew she had to tell Celeste about her small crush on Drew eventually, but she decided she'd keep it to herself. Right at that moment, Drew had walked in and she flashed a smile at him before turning back around and facing her phone. She knew that the occasional flirting between him and her was going to have to come to an end once Celeste said yes.


She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and heard the teaher begin talking. She drowned out her words, knowing she wasn't going to understand anything anyways. She shoved her phone back in her bra and held her head in her hands. This was going to be a long day. She decided it was going to be pbvious she was upset, and she probably didn't look to attractive at the moment. So she sat up straight and staired out one of the windows in the room. Even though she was in the back, she could see a few windows here and there.


She then, turned her gaze towards everyone who was now in the classroom and she spotted some faces that weren't exactly the best people in her eyes.

Taren got tired of waiting and put out his cigarette against his locker. Why the hell was Ebba taking so long? He shrugged it off and started walking to math. When he got there, he saw some people he wasn't entirely fond of and people that weren't entirely fond of him. He took a seat in the middle row and exchanged evil glares with Drew. He hated Drew only because of the fact that he hated him. So why not hate him back? It's only the "polite" thing to do.​

Skyellar rolled her eyes and shook her head a bit at his threat before smiling. As they walked into the math class, she went to grip Evan's hand a bit harder, but couldn't before he let go and walked off without a word. Clenching her jaw, she practically threw her bag down by a desk near the door and shook her head, her entire mood changing in that instant. There was nothing wrong with showing any affection in the hallways but the moment they went into class, he acted like they didn't even know each other. It had always been like that, but she had hoped that this year was going to be different, but obviously it wasn't. "Jackass," she spat coldly as she sat down, pulling a book out of her bag and beginning to read without another word.


Trey laughed and nodded a bit as he pulled his jacket off, the short sleeves of his short showing off the swell of his biceps. "Yes. Yes you are that short," she said with a smirk as he crossed his arm. "Pretty much stayed at home and worked on my music and hung out with my Skye," he said with a laugh as he shrugged. "What about you?"

Drew smiled and bumped fist with Evan as he sat down. He then looked at the teacher, yawning again. She started introducing herself and all that, handing out some papers, blah, blah, blah. She then got serious and asked "Now, someone tell me why being on time to class is important!" She asked. Drew raised his hand. "Because all the teachers are incredibly impatient and have nothing better to do?" Drew asked innocently. Ms. Capella was shocked, as was some of the goodie two-shoes. But mostly, people started laughing. Drew received a couple high fives, and he thought he even saw Skyeller stifling a giggle. Ms. Capella just moved on.
