Victoria sighed lightly"its not like theres anything they could do now though and yeah it is"she said smiling before sitting down near her window and looking out"so what are some things you like?"she asked curioursly/.Dark nodded lightly looking at her "yeah well ill be back tommrow"he said sighing lightly before getting a piece of the pie and heading towards the door "see you guys tommrow alright?"he asked sighing lightly .


Pride noddeD"ill get for you then.."he said smiling at her before turning and walking he gave a quiet sigh "all she has to do is ..look at me"he said chuckling lightly at himself , Pearl nodded lightly before looking at bren"..i cant believe she hasnt stabbed pride with a pencil or fork yet he sits in front of her"she said laughing.

Landon watched her wagging his tail a little. "You don't know that for sure. Things can always change. Nothing is set in stone unless you are stubborn in your nature." He told her as he rolled over. "I like the forest and my den. I like playing in the leaves that fall from the trees or chasing rabbits. I spend most of my time as a fox so I don't do many human things." He told her honestly. Ana gave a nod and smiled. "Alright Dark. We will be here, just be careful and don't worry as much." She told him as she walked him out. She didn't care how old her kids got they would always be her babies.


Illya smiled waving to him before heading to class. She knew she had a certain power over Pride, but she didn't try to hold it over him though. It just wasn't the sort of thing she could do. She smiled walking into the class room and sitting next to Pearl. "Oh my you got Bren to come back!" She beamed really happy to see him in class. Bren chuckled and sighed. "I've seen her put glue in his hair before and I think she stabbed him once too." He told Pearl with a sigh wondering where Mason was.

Victoria nodded at him"well you will be doing more human things..now "she said smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh " can I take some pictures of you?"she asked curioursly. Asher sighed looking at Ana "whys otter so cranky lately ?" He asked frowning "..yesterday she yelled at me and slammed the door in my face " he asked frowning lightly.


Pearl giggled "yes I did get him to come back " she said seeing Mason dragging himself into class she wanted to luagh but she decided against it. Mason frowned he cloppased in his seat before sighing "never ...again " he mumbled with his head on his desk .Pearls eyebrows arched before looking at him "long night I assume with dolly.." She said in a teasing voice .Mason growled "oh hush you evil b-" he was cut off when he saw bren "your back" he said quietly.

Landon looked up at her and smiled. "I'm looking forward to doing more human things and you can take as many pictures as you like." He told her as he wagged his tail a little bight faster then he had been. Ana sighed looking at him. "I'm not sure. She used to be so happy.. but now she seems to be moody and withdrawn. I hope it's just a phase." She sighed wanting her happy daughter back.


Illya smiled glad that Pearl had got Bren back in class. She frowned seeing Mason though. "Mason.. oh my did Dolly make you going clubbing with her?" She asked knowing how hard it could be to keep up with Dolly's energy level. Bren chuckled listening to them all. "Yeah I'm back. Pearl and I made a deal so I have to keep my end of it as long as she keeps her end." He said with a wink at Pearl just to see what she would do.

Victoria nodded lightly before smiling"so you really want to come and see what i like to do right no judgement ?"she asked smiling before sighing and shaking her head "you have such a cute tail"she said smiling. Asher nodded lightly "maybe i hope so i miss otter when shes like this"he said frowning"so whens the day you found her?"he asked curioursly.


Mason chuckled lightly"what that you two are finally going to do it before your wedding night?"he asked in a chuckle he saw pearl smack bren with an eraser she gave a sigh"prides going to be later again i see.."she said looking at illya"oh hush bren see what you got mason thinking?"she asked in a growl.

Landon gave a nod as he smacked her lightly with his tail. "I do. I think it would be really cool to see what you do and like." He told her as he stood and walked around her bed for a few moments trying to get comfortable. Ana felt the same way he did. She missed Otter when she was like this. "It was right before the holidays. She was being controlled by some evil man but when he thought we were both dead he released her from that control and I brought her home as my daughter." She smiled remembering back then.


Bren chuckled thinking about that. "If I tried something like that she might murder me before the night is over. I made her promise to spend more time with me, cause you know I need a baby sitter." He joked with a happy sigh. Though some people actually might think he did need a baby sitter with how much trouble he could get into. Illya sighed watching for Pride. "I worry about him sometimes.. he was supposed to be getting food... but I know he's probably doing something else." She frowned feeling her chest ache. Sure she was healthier then she had been in childhood, but she still didn't have perfect health and stress often caused her to get sick at times.

Victoria smiled lightly"getting comfortable on my bed?"she asked watching him before walking"can i -pet you?"she asked worried hed take it the wrong way"i just want to feel your fur again"she said Asher nodded lightly"can we go somewere togther?"he askjed curioursly he gave a quiet sigh"everyone always has you..i want to spend time with you two ..you know"he said slightly pouting.


Mason chuckled lightly"yes you do need a babysitter very bad"he said smiling he gave a quiet sigh looking at them he frowned lightly looking at illyA"that worries..me ..if he is doing something else hes causing trouble"he grumbled lightly looking at all of them he looked at illya"hopefully he wont forget the breakfast right"he said chuckling"we should make him buy breakfast for all of us ..for all the trouble he causes"he grumbled.


Melinda sighed looking around as she walked she had some silver feathers with gold dust in her hair she gave a quiet sigh watching the frog the in the glass box "i dont know i might just keep this little frog im getting attacthed "she said frowning

Landon gave a nod. "Yes, it's instinct to me." He told her as he laid down and stretched out. "You can pet me if you like. I don't mind. Before living out in the forest I was someone's pet after all. I miss those days though. It was the closest I ever got to having a family." He told her with a sigh. Ana smiled at Asher as she stood. "Sure, where would you like to go?" She asked him with her normal loving mother look. She thought it was cute when he pouted, made him look like his dad.


Bren stuck his tongue out at him. "Oh thanks." He said jokingly. "If he is getting into trouble I'll just kick him in the shin when he walks in. You'll know by the look on his face. He's not very hard to read." He pointed out as he leaned back. Illya sighed and gave a nod. "I think he should do more then just buy food for the trouble he causes." She giggled at the idea. "I just worry because I should be out there keeping him in line.. but he makes it so hard to do that." She sighed shaking her head. "He needs a baby sitter too. Maybe we can hire the same person to watch him that will watch Bren." She teased.


Ulric chuckled walking up behind her and grabbing her by the waist. "Hello Melinda. Have a nice night? I did since I dreamed about you." He told her as he turned her around to face him. "You ready to be mine yet?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows at her. He smirked as he put a card in her hand. "Come see me later at that address."

Victoria nodded lightly before petting him"i didnt know how you felt about it..you think me and my mom should just go somewere and talk about these things?"she asked sighing lightly looking at him"having is nice i mean having each others backs"she said frowning. Asher looked at her"tea house with cookies."he said looking at her before smiling"remember its the place we used to go to"he said smiling watching her.


Mason sighed hearing pearl say she couldnt be payed enough to watch pride he looked at bren"...dollys not here yet"he said worriedly he looked at bren"mind doing some search on a guy..for me... One told Melinda..she was going to be his pet..and id like to know whos going after.. my little sister in law"he said frowning .


Melinda frowned lightly " how the ..crap did you find out my name?"she asked more so puzzled she gave a quiet sigh"no i didnt.."she said frowning"and how much later because theres an hour later and then theres four hours later catching my drift?"she asked frowning "dont hurt the frog "she said looking at him before frowning she wasnt sure how to react right now .

Landon looked up at her and sighed. "It's always best to talk to people. If you never tell her how is she supposed to know?" He asked her as he laid there letting her pet him. "Yes having people is nice, though that's only if you actually have people." Ana smiled at him as she walked toward the door. "Well then, shall we get going? I'm sure your father can handle your sisters while we are gone." She sighed hoping Shadow really could handle that.


Bren looked at him and chuckled. "Oh Dolly's been here. She got here before you. She's in the supply closet organizing stuff for the day though." He told him with a sigh hoping he wouldn't worry. Bren smiled as he gave a nod. "I'm sure I can manage that. I'm already working on a case for Pearl, but I get the feeling they might tie in together some how. I'll call my boss and see if she can dig any thing up too.' He told him with a smile. Illya couldn't help but over hear that. "I think I might be able to give you a name.. but you'll have to meet me after class." She frowned remembering Ulric. She didn't want to cause trouble, but she didn't want the people she cared about getting hurt and she had already made her case clear to Pride. What he did on his own was his business and she could make her own independent choices too. Even more so if she felt it would make things safer for her child and she felt unsafe around Ulric and some of his other 'friends'. Just thinking about it all made her chest ache and Pride had her medicine in his bag.


Ulric smirked at her as he looked down into her eyes. "I was watching you last night and I over heard what they called you. I figured it was either a nickname, code name, or your real name. Either way it was still a name to call you by." He chuckled playing with a strand of her hair. "After the sun goes down. About 10 pm." He told her as he raised a eye brow at the frog. "Awe you got me a present. How touching. You are starting to warm up to me after all."

Victoria noddeD"you can stay here while i do that if you like feel free to go to sleep on my bed ill be back"she said smiling before sighing "oh and the foods in the fridge "she said smiling before walking out to her mother and grabbing her and dragging her off. Asher nodded lightly before walking "you still love me right ..even though i didnt stick up for her?"he asked frowning looking at his mother.


Mason chuckled"your boss is probably mad at you..she came and yelled at me the other night asking where you were ...and then she started crying..emotional thing isnt she..?"he asked sighing lightly Mason looked at illya curioursly"one of prides friends?"he asked curioursly he gave a worried sigh not liking that.


Melinda frowned"stop playing with my hair please..it was supposed to be for you..its a Posinous frog i hoped youd choke on it..but im getting attachted so..cant have him"she said watching the frog "..okay your name now"she said looking at him"its only fair"she said wrinkling her nose slightly .

Landon gave a nod as he laid his head down on the bed. He would wait right there for her to get back. Molly blinked in surprise when Victoria grabbed her and pulled her away. "Yes?" She asked her curious to what she was up to. "Is every thing alright?" Ana looked at him and sighed. "Of course I do. We all make mistakes Asher." She told him as she pulled him into a hug. He was so different then his sister whom was more like her father.


Bren chuckled and sighed. "Yeah she can get like that, but I wouldn't let it foul you she's a mean one." He sighed as he messaged her about the cases. "She'll beat me up later, but I deserve it." He had to admit his boss was like family to him. She was like a moody older sister for whom he had a lot of respect. Illya gave a nod and sighed. "Yes.. He wont really listen to me about his 'friends'.. he keeps trying to reason on things and I'm not sure he even understands himself why he hangs around them." She told him before letting the subject die. "I do hope he gets here soon. Or I might go looking for him." She them as she watched the door.


Ulric smirked at her as he let go of her hair and took her hand. "I find it rather cute you got attached to the frog." He told her with his normal cunning look. "You can call me Master Ulric." He said knowing she would refuse, but in time she would cave to him.

Victoria frowned"you never gave me time to adjust.. "she said frowning "...you went an got married to him..and then you had kids.."she said frowning watching her she gave a quiet sigh,Asher frowned"is dad and Vera human ..im not sure they are..for some reason..i cant help but think..he seems almost demonish at times"he said frowning


Mason chuckled"well shes scary..i wasnt sure what to do..or how to get her to stop crying so she started smacking me.."he said sighing lightly looking at him "well let her..she aint beating me up..again"he said frowning. Pride grumbled as he walked in before looking at bren and giving illya what she wanted he sighed before sitting down "..damn line.."he growled/.


Melinda looked at him before trying to remove her hand "um..okay let go..now please..and im not calling you that"she said looking at him her eyebrow arched"so this adress... what is this place?"she asked narrowing her eyes watching him.

Molly looked at her and sighed. "We got engaged when you were two and waited till you were three and a half so that it wouldn't be to much on you. I gave you over a year and felt like there was nothing more I could do and every one told me I couldn't wait forever. Your first sibling wasn't born until you were four. Kip and I did everything we could to help you adjust, but you never did. Your second sibling is only three." she sighed wondering what more Victoria could have wanted her to do. She felt bad she hadn't adjusted, but she had tried everything. They had done things as a family, she had set certain days aside for just her and Victoria.. but nothing had worked. "Maybe it's because you always wondered about your real father." she sighed still not comfortable even with the thought of that man. Ana looked at him and laughed. "You aren't the only person to wonder that. He can be demon like. I'll admit to that, but I'm not sure about him being any thing beside human. When it comes down to it he is very human." She smiled knowing one day he would understand what she meant by that.


Bren chuckled and sighed. "Sounds like her. She gave me a nasty burn once." He sighed remembering that. "She'll probably yell at me then cry, smack me a few times before making me go do something stupid for her." He sighed having been through it enough times already. Illya smiled seeing him. "I was worried you got into trouble." She told him as she took a sip of her drink. "Do you still have my medicine in your bag?" She asked him still feeling like she would need it.


Ulric grinned at her. "That's to my room in the hotel I'm staying at. I would rather enjoy a dinner guest." He told her with a cat like grin. "Sooner or later you will call me that. In fact you'll be all over me." He wiggled his eyebrows at her as he leaned forward and kissed her ear. He knew it would stir a good reaction out of her.

Victoria frowned e"and you never talk about it"she said eyeing her"..you say you did everything for me to adjust i dont think so..you said you spaced everything but mom ..it was just me and you"she said frowning watching her "and then kip just shows up..."she said frowning"he basically just moved in with us.."she said frowning. Asher gave a werid face " dont understand .. but i guess i will one day "he said frowning lightly he gave a quiet sigh walking " so..is it alright if i get an animal?"he asked smiling.


Pride nodded looking at her before giving it to her"dont i always ?"he asked smiling at her before sighing lightly "so.. bren back"he said sighing lightly before writing something on a note that said welcome back of course his pride wouldnt let him just tell bren that. mason chuckled lightly"hey does anyone know when class is supposed to start?"he asked curiously.


Melinda looked at him before frowning "hey "she said aiming to smack him in the shoulder"back off..you have no business..doing that..."she said backing up her face was bright red "..dinner guest..as long as im not dinner"she said eyeing him *i dont trust you.. * she thought eyeing him"and your name means God Of wolves dont it?"she asked wrinkling her nose.

Molly looked at her and sighed. "I never talk about it for a reason. If you want to know about what happen back then.. then you should go see this man." She told her giving her a photo of a man named G. "He's your half brother.. and he'll answer your questions. As for Kip moving in. It was only supposed to be as a guest.. but had things had gone the way they did I wouldn't be here today." She told her hoping she would really think about all of this. "There were things happening back then that you were to young to understand and be involved with. I only wanted to protect you.. because I didn't want you to get hurt like I did." Ana smiled at him and messed up his hair. "I can try to explain it. Your father is a creature of instinct, as are must humans. He's moody, quick to anger, says the wrong things all the time, and has a habit of finding trouble. I find those things to be very human. Some of the most human behavior and I love him for it." She smiled and sighed. "Hmm, as long as it's something that can't kill your father or sister."


Illya gave a nod. "Pearl got him to come back. I think it's great." She smiled happy her brother was back in class. "Well the teacher is running late, so I give it 15 minutes before I leave." She sighed laying her head down on her desk. Sage grumbled walking into the class room. He would be their new teacher. "Hello class. My name is Sage, I'm your new teacher for the rest of the year. Today, since I have yet to be told what I'm actually supposed to teach you.. We are taking a trip to the beach to explore some of the cave systems down there."


Ulric smiled at her. "And what if that is what my name means?" He asked her pushing up against the wall of a building. "I'll be seeing you tonight.. and just remember if you don't show up, I know where to find you." He warned her before turning and leaving her there. He knew she would come.

Victoria frowned watching her before shaking her head slightly before starting to walk away"whatever "she said frowning before walking " sorry i even brought these things up"she said sighing lightly *..i was to young..*she thought frowning *i still dont understand it..*she grumbled, Asher nodded lightly "so you love him because of all that?"he asked slightly confused"thats silly...i hope you know that"he said chuckling lightly"so is otter going to live with you forever ?"he asked.


Pride gave a quiet sigh not sure how to react to that he looked at illya before poking her"what do you think about this one?"he asked sighing "..cave systems..?"he whispred , Mason sighed lightly"Well beats sitting around here i guess..with nothing to learn..maybe we can find some kind of glowing .. animals"he said sighing lightly not to sure.


Melinda growled slightly watching him *...my mother..is so going to murder me ..*she thought frowning lightly *speaking of which maybe i should visit them sometime soon * she thought frowning before walking away .

Molly frowned feeling like crying. She wasn't sure where she had gone wrong, but she did know she wanted her sweet baby girl back. She had only tried to keep her safe.. maybe that had been her mistake. Sheltering her to much. Ana smiled and laughed. "I do know it's silly, but there are other reasons I love him to." She told him as they walked. "If she wants to, but honestly every one grows up and finds their own path."


Illya sighed looking at the new teacher. "He's a gypsy and he has a very dark power.." She frowned a little uneasy around this new teacher. Sage sighed. "Yes I am a gypsy and yes I do have a dark power.. however that doesn't matter. I'm supposed to teach you lot useful things. So every one up. We are going to the beach." He told them as he walked toward the door. "Actually I'm certain you each will find something different there. These caves are rumored to show you in their glowing crystal walls, what really is in your heart. Sometimes people have even claimed to see visions of their future. We are going to study these walls and come up with hypotheses on why they might do the things they do." He told them.


Adak walked up behind Melinda and blinked. "I knew you were only good for standing around looking pretty, but I didn't know you had a bonus feature of looking crazy when you did it." He teased her lightly as he patted her head. 'You adjusting to the games alright?" He asked her noticing how worked up she seemed. "I'm going home to see mom. I need advice." He told her almost as a invite.

Victoria frowned lightly "i just wanted to know .. "she said frowning she gave a quiet sigh *i overreact about everything *she thought sighing she gave a quiet sigh when she got back to the house *i wonder if hes still in my room..*she thought wondering. Asher nodded lightly"Can we go look for a pet after this?"he asked curioursly"i dont want a dog..or a cat..they both..can hurt ..people"he said sighing.


Pride frowned lightly"he heard..us"he said in a whisper before getting up *i highly doubt what hes saying..is true..*he thought frowning *but what if it is and i see something about my future..*he wondred blinking , mason blinked lightly"okay i like this teacher.."he said sighing before getting up"you were late you know"he said frowning eyeing sage.


Melinda smiled seeing her brother "eh its not really the games bothering me..some guy i guess.."she said sighing watching him she sighed before putting the frog down and hugging adak "no squirrming i want to hug you.."she said before letting go and picking it back up " lets go "she said smiling"like what advice.. ?"she asked curioursly

Landon lifted his head off the bed when he heard her coming back. "Victoria?" He asked hoping she was alright. He had her little brother curled up next to him. "This child licked me." He told her with a sigh watching the toddler drooling in his sleep. Ana gave a nod. "Yes we can. So if you don't want a cat or dog.. what do you want?" She asked him a little curious now. She wondered if he would pick something weird out or if it would be normal.


Illya sighed watching Pride. "What are you thinking about?" She asked him seeing how hard he had been thinking as she followed him. Sage looked at Mason and sighed. "I had matters to attend to. I have a wife and children. Plus siblings. I have life like many of you do. Plus it wasn't until 20 minutes ago that I was appointed as your new teacher." He told him as he lead them to the caves. "Watch your step. I'd hate to write a report out on why I'm short students."


Adak just narrowed his eyes but let her hug him. "I see. Would you like me to beat this guy up for you?" He offered feeling a little protective of his sister. "I got this girl. She agreed to be mine and all that. She even helps me with paper work, cooking, and cleaning.. However I'm not sure I'm handling matters with her right. I tried to buy her a collar.. I thought women liked those because mom always wears them." He sighed seeing the house.

Victoria sighed lightly"yes he does that"she said frowning she gave a quiet sigh before sighing"appently he thinks your family.."she said sighing lightly before looking at landon"so um..a date..tommrow or tonight ?"she asked, Asher sighed"i dont know yet there are alot of good choices turtles..fish.. a rabbit..ferret " he said sighing lightly.


Pride shook his head"nothing really"he said sighing lightly looking at her "watch your step"he said grabbing illyas hand he smiled gently he gave a quiet sigh "you dont think people will acutely have visions of the future do you?"he asked sighing, Mason sighed hearing pride"cant you shut your mouth for a second?"he grumbled watching them he gave a quiet sigh.


Melinda giggled lightly"not all women do..i think mom has it because..of some prank..she wanted to play but personally i think she likes them because she think their cute.. and no Adak that might make it worse"she said frowning lightly thinking about adak beating him up she laughed"hes a stalker though.."she said frowning.

Landon looked at her and sighed. "He's cute. I'll give him that. How about tonight? I would love to see the town and mostly spend time with you. I really enjoy being around you." He told her as he turned back into himself with the boy's head on his lap. Ana gave a nod and smiled. "All of those sound great. If we really wanted to give your dad a heart ache we could get you a dragon." she laughed knowing how Shadow would react to that.


Illya smiled holding his hand as she stepped into the cave. "Pride it's possible. I mean people have powers after all so why can't a crystal rock wall show you things like that. However I'm also interested in what could cause them to do that and glow." She smiled seeing the walls. "Are you worried about what you might see?" She asked him with a playful teasing smile. Dolly giggled bouncing passed Mason. "Look how shiny it is!!" She exclaimed as she jumped from rock to rock but almost slipped on one of them.


Adak nodded and sighed. "Well either way I'm sure mom can give me advice on how to behave. She seems to have done a great job in her own relationship." He sighed walking into the house. "Well if you change your mind you know where to find me." He told her always willing to beat some one up for his family.

Victoria looked at landon and blushed lightly"hmm.. your not bad looking in human form either"she said smiling she gave a quiet sigh she looked at him"nobody going to come after you right?"she asked sighing, Asher sighed"a dragons cool...but itd eat dad..horses hate dad..deer are cool..but it might murder dad.."he said sighing"though ferrets..might suck his blood..out birds are good right?"he asked frowning.


Pride looked at Illya and sighed"so what if i am.."he thought frowning he gave a sigh seeing dolly doing that"shes going to get hurt if shes not careful "he grumbled lightly looking at them. Mason sighed"hey Dolly becareful"he said ina more scolding loving voice"i dont want you getting hurt or worse"he said sighing lightly.


Melinda sighed lightly seeing her mother come bouncing down the stairs *so thats were dolly gets that.. * she thought sighing before trying not to laugh about it . Rowan smiled before hugging the two"yay ..most of my kids are back..wait why arent you two in school why are you here?"she asked curioursly.

Landon blushed a little at her compliment. "Thanks.. your beautiful too you know." He told her as he watched her. "No. no one even knows my name except for you." He sighed knowing he didn't have family or friends waiting for him any where. Ana laughed thinking about all the different animals. "How about you just get what you want and don't worry about what might happen." She told him smiling. She knew at this rate no animal would be a safe choice, so it didn't really matter.


Illya giggled at him a little. "It's cute that you're worried about it.' She told him in a innocent way before walking over to one of the wall and looking in it. She got a weird feeling seeing her reflection in the crystal. "How odd." Dolly giggled as she started to climb one of the walls. "I'll be careful." She told them as she got to the top and reached for something. "A little fall wont hurt me." She said as she slide down a cover wall holding a flat piece of glowing crystal.


Adak looked at his mother and sighed. "I'm suspended for losing my tempter and breaking things. That's not why I'm here though. I need advice mom." He told her with a sigh. "About girls. I tried giving her a collar.. cause I thought girls were into that kind of thing.. but it didn't go over so well."

Victoria nodded before blushing "thanks and good i mean i dont mean that cause..i jhust mean i dont want anyone else taking you.."she said sighing before walking over and sitting on the bed beside him"i ..feel like sometimes my mom never wanted me..but atleast i have a mom right?"she asked. Asher nodded lightly"well after we get tea and cookies ill think about what pet to get..could i really get a dragon if i wanted one?"he asked curioursly watching her for her reaction.
