"He asked grinning like a wildcat " I get to be the fun parent "he said chuckling lightly before sighing watching him" but yes I am you'll eventually get there..but I think Pearls more nevrous then anything "he saaid frowning " poor thing I was picking on her. About you two ..In bed and she started ..bawling "he said frowning. Mason nodded lightly " I got a sloth an owl..I Carry the sloth around on my back"he said smiling lightly "I use the owl to deliver notesa " he said smiling.


Melinda frowned " I'll tell ..you when I know for sure I'm not totally sure "she said sighing lightly" I have a feeling she's not lying "she said smiling. Rowan nodded lightly before hearing it " its Katie..she's either scared or mad.."she saisd frowning.Katie frowned "dang it Adak your dang boxers are. Crawling away " she saaid frowning clearly upset.

Bren chuckled a little and sighed. "Do you really think you can get away with being the fun parent. Illya is too sweet and gentle to be mean." He chuckled knowing one of them would have to be the strict one, though he guess you could always be fun and strict. "I'm in no rush. Things will happen when they are meant to and right now I don't think Pearl is ready." He told him with a sigh. "At least she agreed to marry me, so that's something." He smiled thinking about her. "I'm going to half to explain to my parents why I'm putting a crib in the house. If you don't mind. You know you can trust them." He sighed thinking about it. Illya smiled hearing that. "Awe, sloths are so cute looking." She told him showing her sloth key chain. "I just like animals in general though." She admitted with a smile. "Pride spoils me too.. which doesn't help. If he thinks I like something or knows I do.. he'll get it for me. I told him he doesn't need to cause I'll start running out of room for all the gifts." She sighed knowing her room was almost over flowing with stuff. "So you study really hard.. and passionately too. What kind of career are you after?" She asked curious. She knew it had to be something impressive with how devoted he was.


Sitka smiled and sighed. "I don't think she is lying either." He told her with a laugh. "It's alright cause I'm happy staying with mama. She just has this way of making people smile." He told her. Adak sighed hearing that. "Did you finally find the base pet. He's been missing for almost a month." He told her remembering the little guy had last been in his room.

Pride looked at bren"of course i can..and you can be that crazy uncle.."he said sighing lightly "of course shes not...though..something does worry me about her lately.. she seems kinda ..distant..are you going to throw her a party?"he asked arching his eyebrows "i mean i know theres one at her dads..but every hunter going to show up..to ..it..i mean i think we should give her one at her base..."he said sighing lightly"no i dont mind they wont tell right?"he asked sighing. Mason sighed lightly"ah i see seems like him.."he said smiling "a lawyer like my granddad.."he said smiling "only i want to be able to help some gypsy.."he said smiling lightly"like my mom.."he said smiling"if she didnt have lane back then she probably wouldnt have been able to kept me"he said frowning.


Melinda nodded before smiling"yeah she does.but your going to eventually grow up and get married you know that right?"she asked smiling lightly"i might eventually find someone i like"she said grinning. Katie growled"just hurry back please..im pretty sure..your boxers stood up on their own.. a few minutes ago and its not base pet this time"she said frowning.

Bren gave a nod and sighed. "I'm worried about her too, but I know better then to push things. I was actually thinking of throwing her a party.. just not at her base. she is very protective of her base. I was thinking maybe at the new penguin place. They rescue penguins and you can help feed them and stuff. They had a party area too with penguin themed items." He sighed knowing how much Pearl liked penguins. "They wont tell. Illya is my father's daughter after all. He would never put her in danger." He assured Pride. Illya smiled as she listened to him. "That's really cool. At least then every one will have a chance at a fair trail." She told him with a sigh. "Honestly.. Dad scares me a little. He looks so tough and mean, though I know he's not, but it's still really intimidating.' She told Mason with a sigh. It's why she didn't visit much. That and she really never got a chance to get to know her father. Jag was more of a father figure to her, but only because she had lived with his family since she was little.


Sitka smiled and shook his head. "Not if mom has her way. I think she'll scare away any girl I bring home." He chuckled knowing how she could get at times. "I hope you find someone nice. If you get married he'll be my brother and I don't want another grumpy brother. One is enough." He told her. Adak was irritated by her now. "are you saying I'm dirty? I'm not dirty. Just unorganized. I am very clean I'll have you know!" He growled in his defense. He may not put things away but he had a slight OCD thing about him or his clothing being dirty. Any thing else didn't bother him, just that.

Pride nodded "shed like that.. " he said smiling "yeah she is which makes me wonder..how that person.. Got in her base " he said frowning "shed like pizza at the party to probably " he said sighing he sighed seeing the snake crawling around his wrist he looked at bren before frowning "illya might try and kill me..if..I don't try and get along once in awhile " he said looking at him. Mason nodded lightly "yeah he looks it but hes really not I think their having a tough time with Persia anymore..she's been acting really weird.. I think some kids might be picking on her.. " he said frowning thinking about it "last time I saw my little sister she was pretty mad " he said frowning.


Melinda sighed ligfhtly "ill try and make sure hes not grumpy ..theres is a werid guy so who knows maybe me and him might get rogthee in the future " she said rolling her eyea. Katie rolled her eyes "no..Adak I'm just saying I think your. Boxers are drunk.." She said sighing "either that or my eyes are playing a trick on me or someone is.." She saaid frowning lightly "just come back soon alright food is almost ready to " she said smiling lightly before hanging up.

Bren gave a nod and sighed. "I might have a idea on how someone got in. I've been mapping tunnels linking the bases together. I first found one that took me from my room in my base to right outside of Pearls. Then I started finding more. Some that come out by the park or down town. I once heard someone named Saber dug them all.. but I'm not sure yet." He sighed wanting to figure this out. "I'll ask my boss if she knows anything." He sighed thinking about it. "Illya might get mad at you and smack you. Maybe pout a little, but she doesn't have it in her to kill you." He told him with a chuckle. "Though you really should try to get along with people better." Illya gave a nod and sighed. "I know last time I went to visit she seemed rather upset. I even offered to take her for ice cream and she refused. Hopefully they will figure it out. Bren might be able to talk to her. He has this habit of making people laugh and smile." she sighed knowing Bren was just to goofy to be mad around.


Sitka sighed hearing that. "No. No weird guys. dad is weird enough and we have dolly too. We need a nice normal person in this family. Not that you aren't nice, but none of us are normal.' He told her with a pouting looking. "I guess if he's cool then that would be okay, but no creepers." Adak sighed listening to her. He wondered if she knew how silly she sounded suggesting that clothing could get drunk, though there was nothing to disprove that either. "I'll be back soon." He told her as he hung up and looked at his mother. "I guess I have to get going. She's insisting that my clothing is moving."

Pride nodded lightly "shoukd we head back or you going to go see your boss..?" He asked curioursly looking at him "ive gpot to go see my little sister some time soon she might beat me up if i dont and yeah illya would smack me but not kill me " he said smiling gently. Mason nodded "yeah true he might be able to explains her moodiness I though for sure I saw a bruise or stab wounds on her leg.. Before last time.. She was in shorts.. " he said frowning about it "so your life goal..get pride married before hes forty ? " he asked in a slight teasing tone.


Melinda giggled lightly "i agree with you." She said smiling "hmm i got to get .. Going have to get atuff done..before i have to go somewere you know " she said with a bitter sweet smile. Rowan giggled lightly "well then she will fit right in won't she ?" She asked giggling lightly she shook her head slightly "have fun.." She said smiling .

Bren sighed thinking about it. "You can head back. I should go see my boss before she comes looking for me." He sighed knowing that would be bad. "Yeah your sister is a mean one isn't she." He chuckled remembering the times he had seen her. He usually could get a small out of her. Illya gave a nod and sighed. "Well you could always follow her to find out for sure." She told him wondering what he would do. "No..actually I never thought of what I personally wanted. My whole life was already planned for me.. though I guess if I did anything it would be medical related." She sighed wondering if that was something she could do.


Sitka gave her one last hug before letting her go. "You better come visit me again." He told her as he waved bye. He sure hoped that she would be careful and not fall for some creeper. Adak gave his mother a weird look and sighed. "If you say so." He told her before leaving. He was glad though that she was so approving of Katie.

Pride chuckled lightly "..nah not mean just..moody and.. And she's going to give me a heart attack one day when she brings a guy home " he said frowning he gave a quiet sigh thinking about it "good luck with your boss.." He said frowning. Mason nodded "I wouldn't want to do that though break her privacy I mean if she dosent want to tell us then why.. And sounds like a great career " he said smiling about it.

Bren chuckled and sighed. "Well i wish you luck with your sister." He told him before walking off toward his bosses building. Rubbing the back of his neck he pushed the main door open and looked around. "Hello?" He called hoping she wasn't hiding some where waiting to attack him. Illya looked at him and sighed. "Because sometimes silence can be a cry for help. What if it's something really bad and she is to scared or ashamed to say anything." She pointed out with a sigh. She knew that sometimes you had to cross lines to protect people. "Yep it is a good career."

Ivory looked at bren before tackling him and pounding him in the ribs slightly"where the hell have you been ?!"she cried shaking her head "do you realize ..i cant handle this damn job alone you damn idoit"she said frowning"anyways come on"she said frowning as she turned around before walking . Mason nodded lightly "true come on we better be going back all of us"he said frowning "..if i dont they might think i died..i pratically live there..i pick up extra classes.. Ivory nodded lightly"hey..have you check on your sioster lately?"she asked arching her eyebrows she gave a quiet sigh looking around at her computer tv screen ".. anything you want me to look into?"she asked arching her eyebrows she gave a quiet sigh , Mason nodded lightly"im thinking about dropping them truthfully..but im not honestly sure..you want to see what i got dolly?"he asked quietly looking at illya he gave a quiet sigh he was watching to make sure she wasnt listening.

Bren sighed taking a seat. "No but I was planning on it tomorrow or should I go later today?" He sighed getting the feeling something was up. "Yeah there is a lot of stuff going on. These Hunters killing off anyone they think is unworthy and then I was wondering if you might know something about the tunnels in town. Plus some new guy is giving Melinda a hard time." He explained in the shortest manner he could. Illya gave a nod and sighed. "Maybe you should. I mean there is more to learning and life then just classes. You learn alot by just making time for the world." She told him with a soft sigh. "I'd love to see!" She beamed seeing Dolly was to busy petting stray cats to notice.

Ivory suddenly got a huge grin on her face when he said the tunnels"i do know about the tunnels..my big brother made those "she said in a soft smile she gave a quiet sigh"i dont know shes been hanging out at..abandon building recently with a few people..the wrong crowd if you asked me "she said sighing "yeah the new guy Ulric..i had him flagged before he entered the country im just guessing.."she said sighing. Mason smiled there was ring in shape of a owl with ruby eyes "theres a matching necklace..to"he said smiling lightly"think she will like it?"he asked curioursly he gave a quiet sigh.

Bren gave a nod and sighed. "I've been exploring the tunnels. They are useful but also dangerous if the wrong person would find them." He sighed thinking about it. "I'll have to check it out and maybe have a little talk with her. Ulric.. hmm same thing Pride told me. I'm going to have to find him." He frowned thinking over it all. "Thanks. You always have the best info." Illya smiled at him. "I think she will love it. More so because it's from you. She adores you Mason." She told him as they walked.

Ivory smiled lightly before frowning "bren..I wouldn't go off of on her..when your see her..more things maybe wrong then just that " she said frowning "oh I need you to dig around..there's a girl..I'm trying to find she witnessed a murder " she said frowning about It. Mason nodded happily "I know its super tiring keeping up with dolly though.." He said sighing "but I love her so its worth of it " he said smiling "dolly.." He said looking around .

Bren gave a nod. "I wont. I'm not the sort of person for lecturing and all that nonsense. I'm just going to find out whats going on and help her in whatever way I can. That's what brothers do for their siblings." He told her as he kicked his feet up on the desk. "I see. Any thing I need to know about this girl?" He asked hoping she had more for him to go off of. Illya gave a nod and sighed. "Have you suggest to her things that are easier for you two to do together. I'm sure she would understand if you asked her to slow down a little." She told him seeing Dolly walking toward them with one of the stray cats in her arms. "Yes Mason?" Dolly asked walking up to Mason and smiling.

"If you drop night classes I'll drop night clubbing." She had only been clubbing to fill in the time she wasn't with him and to take her mind off of things.
