Totally human, I swear!
Dr. Sullivan: I moved her away from the wall and pressed gauze on the back of her head.

Archie BaileyArchie let out a yawn, as if he were uninterested in the encounter, before heel turning towards his closet to retrieve his trench coat. He wouldn't be going anywhere without it, especially considering the fact that the inside was packed with an experimental protective padding as a substitute for the traditional armored vest. Its purpose was to keep him alive during firefights and close quarters combat and so far it had done its job... On test dummy's, anyways. Slipping the trench coat on over his regular clothing, not feeling like slipping out of it for anything else, the boy removed the duffel bag from earlier and unzipped it, revealing all of his things. He stepped aside to show the others and let them take their pick. "My way of saying thank you for including me on this venture, and for getting in your good graces. Don't get greedy, but you can keep what you take." There was more than enough for everyone, it seemed, and even then it could only be assumed he had more elsewhere. He removed his own gear -a pair of trench knives, throwing knives, smoke pellets, and a single shock blade- before zipping it back up and throwing it underneath the bed. "This is a good chunk of money. I hope you are all prepared to stab each other in the back for it because I will." He smiled lightly, although his eyes remained void of the spark of emotion that would have made it at least appear genuine, and removed his precious mask from its casing. The boy slipped it on, the fit tight and snug but not uncomfortable. He stroked the side once more, causing the entirety of the mask to light up with an ethereal glow. It almost appeared to be magical in a sense, but it exuded no such presence that any attuned to said forces in the room could feel. On the inside of the mask, in each lens, a video game-esque display appeared, running through strings of data and studying the forms of all those that were focused upon to create more. This was a technological marvel. Night vision, thermal, sonar, radar, wall-penetrating image tracking, communications, and more all rolled up into a tight mask that looked like it was porcelain... Even if half the systems were broken, useless, trivial, or only implemented for 'play testing', it was still a great invention in its own right.
And Archie had only had time to practice using any of it for three days before he came here. He didn't even know how to turn communications off mute.
Oh well, he'd learn as he'd go. Adjusting the fit of his gloves for a moment, Archie turned to Travis and gave a slow nod as if to say he was ready. "Let's go make some money and smoke... 'herb'."
