The Apprentice (Fox X Karcen)

[Karcen]

"What ever these people worshiped I don't like it and it might still be here." 84 still had the same thoughts as a normal person might and so gods still existed in her mind.

 

[Foxora]

He scratched his head and thought about it. "Legends do begin with truths I suppose... Very well. What a drag" He closed up the holo screen and called in his drone "Lets get going, almost chow time anyway" He walked with her out of the ruins and to the surface.

 

[Karcen]

As the two left there would be something deep in the ruins, in the dark forgotten depths that awoke feeling something advanced far above. In the depths of this dark temple something stirred awake and hungry and a ping was sent to Sebastian's devices an energy signature that should not be on the planet. Then it went back to sleep its ancient power all but expended.

 

[Foxora]

Sebastian stopped when his sensors pinged. "What?" he looked back.... then pulled up a holo screen again... "A glitch... perhaps?.... How odd..."

 

[Karcen]

" What is wrong?" 84 asked curious as to what that sound had meant and why it had happened, these machines where just things she didn't get yet, but one day she would she knew she would to be even more useful for her master.

 

[Foxora]

He was silient for a moment before speaking. "This place... might be more intriguing then I thought..." he turned back to her. "But that's for another time, I'm starved, lets get moving.

 

[Karcen]

" Yes master" 84 said slightly confused, well the place was creepy but she didn't think it would be that interesting but she wasn't an explorer at least not yet so maybe she just didn't know. She quickly followed after Sebastian wondering what she should cook for dinner it had to be fast.

 

[Foxora]

Later, back at the outpost. Sebastian was already cataloging his findings and typing up a report to send up with the findings. Though his stomach wanted to to stop working and feed it right now.

 

[Karcen]

84 as soon as they were back at the outpost had gone to work, she needed to cook for her master and she knew just what to cook. Well she had an idea she had studied lost of different foods and found ones involving pasta, something that was common in certain parts of this world, could be done fast. So while the noodles boiled in water 84 worked on the sauce, which she added some of the meat that may not come from this world to it, the sauce was simple to make meat water and a packet of seasoning then you wait.

 

[Foxora]

Sebastian heaved a heavy sigh as he leaned back in his chair after sending off his report. "Finally..." he then was in thought... How odd that my sensors detected advance technology somewhere in those ruins... expeditions have been noted before I even arrived... perhaps it was one of ours.... If it was, why would it be all the way out there in a place that hasn't even been documented at... He placed an arm over his head. "Shouldn't even be thinking about it... should be getting up and going to the kitchen." He then brought himself to his feet and made his way toward the living room to get to the kitchen.

 

[Karcen]

" Ah you are just in time master" 84 said as she saw Sebastian coming. " The noodles and sauce have just finished cooking, though it seems there are many ways of serving it" 84 continued having found it could be done in so many ways that she didn't know which way her master would like it " So I have opted for self serve mix as much sauce with noodles as you like" She said.

 

[Foxora]

Sebastian smiled and chuckled "Sounds fine to me" as he patted her head and went to grab a bowl and fork "Smells good" he complimented as he got the amount of noodles and sauce that he would've wanted. then tried a taste.

 

[Karcen]

Really with the sauce being almost nothing more than add water and boil there was little way that one could screw it up and 84 had not messed it up she had even managed to not get any of herself in the meal so it would be the salty meal it was meant to be instead of a sweet alteration. 84 waited for Sebastian to comment on her latest meal she did like this cooking though she liked the idea of going places more at least this way she was useful.

 

[Foxora]

Sebastian swirled some of his noodles with his fork and slurped it up.... "Not bad work on it" he nodded. He made short work of the spaghetti in his bowl and had seconds before he finished eating. "That was pretty good, though there were other things you could've added into it, like parmesan or rather mozzerella. When it's self serve, you try to have all the options lined up for others." he gave her abit of a lecture not to criticize her but help her to think about all the possibilities in things.

 

[Karcen]

" Yes master" 84 said she hadn't read anything about most of these option in the tablet or maybe she hadn't seen it she had got to this section rather late and she may have not finished it she didn't really know she would have to check it latter. At least she hadn't screwed it up it was her first time and she had at least made it eatable so that was a plus. " I will make sure I remember next time. "

 

[Foxora]

He smiled and nodded. "Need some help with the clean up?" he asked her as he drank the rest of his drink form his glass.

 

[Karcen]

" no master I can clean up just fine by myself " She said making sure to not sound like she was telling her master no after failing him, but also tell him she didn't need his help as well she was just going to absorb most of the left overs then put the rest in the machines that would do the washing for her.

 

[Foxora]

He nodded "Well alright, if you say so" he got up. "I'll just grab some dessert and let you do your thing."

 

[Karcen]

" yes master" 84 said walking over to the stove and holding her hand out then plunging it into the left over noodles and seemingly just sucking them into herself then she repeated this with the sauce taking it into herself. She could digest solid food but it was rare for anyone to give them anything other than what they got at the brothel. Either way she took the now empty dishes into the washer and started it as the remains of the meal floated inside her rapidly vanishing as her body switched to a very active digestion.

 

[Foxora]

He had grabbed some cookies he had stashed in the pantry to see her pretty much it up all the leftover spaghetti stuff. "Wait... you can eat that?"

 

[Karcen]

" I can eat anything I can digest which includes a few things that aren't food, but yes I can eat food like anything else , even at the brothel we got normal food on big holidays they even closed the store down for those days I am not sure if you have anything similar to that" She said explaining something that had never come up during their talks as well 84 never thought she would be allowed to do more than clean up food which to her was just cleaning it up not eating to her.

 

[Foxora]

He tilted his head. holding his hand to his face. Oh My God.... I really did rob the cradle for no reason..... and now I can't stop even if I wanted to...." He banked his head against a wall.

 

[Karcen]

" is something wrong master" 84 asked seeing her master acting odd " Should I have cleaned up in a different way?" she asked thinking maybe that was why he had started to act a little odd, well lots of things about him were odd but he had been normal for awhile or as normal as he got for awhile now.

 

[Foxora]

...... after a while she shook his head, drooped and waved it off. "No... Your good.... If your able to clean with your body, then please do... I'm gonna take a shower then head to bed... See ya there when I'm done."

 

[Karcen]

" Yes master" 84 said she guessed he would take her after the shower as there was no way her body could stand up in a shower with all that water she would lose her bodies shape and basically die. There was little left for her to do but go tot he bedroom and wait for her master though she was unsure if he was feeling it today he had seemed odd after learning she could eat food.
