The Apprentice (Fox X Karcen)

[Karcen]

84 stirred a little but she was deep enough that she remained asleep. It had been a big few days and she had pushed herself to make her master happy, she needed a little rest after all she had just learned they were not alone and had done what every race dreams of once they learn about aliens and had slept with one and she was the first.

 

[Foxora]

He smiled and shook his head. He noticed she was in recliner, he pulled the chair into a more comfortable position for her pulled a spare blanket on her. "I'll be fine on my own this time. he headed out to get ready and left for his expedition.


The Next day.

 

[Karcen]

84 had studied and slept not really saying much but she had worked to wake up before her master the next day and had done so. She had already wanted to try how to cook and felt pancakes would be good for a first try . So now she stood mixing batter though apparently you needed syrup and butter to eat the pancakes and that was one of the few things missing.

 

[Foxora]

It wasn't long before Sebastian made his way out of the bedroom, smelling pancakes. "Something smells good" he yawned still in his Pajamas

 

[Karcen]

84 by this time had made a rather large stack of pancakes and had put butter on them, but she still lacked the syrup, so she made a substitution. She force her color to change to the same color as the syrup then she dripped bits of herself over the pancakes, Sebastian liked her flavor and well it was the correct color.


She then heard him approaching and started shifting her color's back though it took a little bit to do so and she most likely wouldn't fully change back by the time he got to the room " Yes master I wanted to try what I learned" She said loudly so Sebastian could hear her.

 

[Foxora]

He stepped in and looked at her. "Well it smells awesome... Hey you look different... not as blue as usual" he tilted hi head, but slowly his mind started to think, maybe he was just being too groggy and his vision isn't set up right yet.

 

[Karcen]

" Ah yes I changed my color to make sure I got veering right master" 84 said as the brown color finished vanishing and she was once again blue " We slimes can change our body color if we try, though this is my natural color if you wanted I could be any color you wanted " She said as she pulled out the chair for Sebastian the pile of pancakes almost steaming on the plate.

 

[Foxora]

He did have a thought about seeing her in his favorite color red... but decided that could be brought up another time, when he saw the pancakes and his stomach growled. "Aheh, We'll shelve that for another time. Waay too hungry right now" he took a seat "Thanks for all this by the way. Looks great" he waited no longer to cut a piece out and take a bite. "Mmm.... this is awesome! Not bad for a first time cook." He was more then eaher to have another bite. "Mmm, Gotta say, this syrup tastes different... but familiar..... abit fruity..." Ah well, he shrugged, it tastes delicious and thats all that mattered anyway.

 

[Karcen]

" Thank you master I tried my hardest" 84 said before the mention of the flavor came in and 84 was surprised that Sebastian didn't recognize it. Still at least he seemed happy about her cooking though it was a bit simple so there wasn't much to screw up.


" About the syrup you were out of it so I used a bit of my liquid in place of it " She explained though it was still the golden brown of syrup.

 

[Foxora]

He stopped mid bite... then looked back at her, mouth still full as he asked "For real?" he looked back at the pancakes

 

[Karcen]

84 nodded " I hope that you don't mind but they seemed to need syrup and that was the best I could do" She admitted though she knew it was still sweet so it might serve the same function even if it was a bit odd, for long as she had running water this kind of loss was nothing.

 

[Foxora]

..... He was quiet for awhile.... before she saw start eating the pancakes again. She couldn't see his face so he seemed like he was fine with it, but his mind was like This is weird, but dang it if it wasn't so delicious. Is she made of fruits and sugar or something? So good! He continued eating as his mind had a battle about whether or not to ask if this could be applied in other dishes. He decided not to ask in the end though.

 

[Karcen]

84 watched in silence as Sebastian seemed to think about eating then in the end he continued so she guessed he was ok with it though she would try to avoid having to use it again as outside of the bedroom it seemed Sebastian was slightly hesitant to eat her liquids.


" So what shall you be exploring today master?" she asked moving the topic away and onto a subject she really was interested in.

 

[Foxora]

He was quick to reply "Oh, I found out some old ruins in this part of the forest I haven't started yet. "I figured we could check it out today"

 

[Karcen]

" I would love to go" 84 said truly excited and it was obvious. She liked this stuff or rather she had heard about legends and like anyone given the chance she wanted to see them. Ruins she had been told were full of traps and treasures, it was an adventure. needless to say she was thinking about adventure not archeology.

 

[Foxora]

He smiled and patted her head. "then after I shower and get dressed, we'll pack up some gear and head on out."

 

[Karcen]

" yes master" 84 said happily glad that she would get to go, the ruins couldn't be too far so she didn't think she would need to make more food, but she did go to the wink and absorb more water letting herself grow just a little bit more or less packing an emergency drink and making sure she would be fine even if there wasn't much cover for her.

 

[Foxora]

Once he finished eating he proceeded to gear up in his normal outfit and waited for her at the door. "Alright! Lets go solve some mysteries!"

 

[Karcen]

" yes master" 84 said heading to the door her size bigger than she had been last time Sebastian had seen her. The reason would be obvious if one thought about it though why she did it might not be so easily apparent.

 

[Foxora]

Sebastian had to ask. "Sooo, why the size change?" He knew it wasn't time yet to feed her today. That much was for sure. He opened the door and went down the ladder.

 

[Karcen]

" Well I will constantly lose liquid so I took in some extra just in case there isn't much cover, and in case you get thirsty " 84 said having thought that would be apparent, though Sebastian being a alien might not think like that. 84 soon followed after Sebastian down the ladder.

 

[Foxora]

He could understand most of that, but the part about being thirsty... the only way he drank from her so far was.... his face got even redder. and he shook his thoughts to focus. "R-right, It's good to see your prepared" he said to her as he walked deeper into the forest, he placed a beacon to those ruins so he would track back there no problem.

 

[Karcen]

84 nodded and followed after her master happy to seemingly being praised for her forethought. Really she didn't think there was much to say on the trip there. She wondered what the ruins would be like she had only heard of old hidden ruins full or traps that were still mostly intact, they had to be to have their traps functioning.

 

[Foxora]

When they did arrive, The beacon they followed was a rather tall and thing pole. It's appearance betrayed how sturdy and tough it really was, as it should be since it would be placed in such unknown and perhaps hostile territory. "Alright... Now then... so much to explore around here." he looked around, then got a look at her.... Oh why not? He went up to her from behind, placing his hands on her hips, then bit down on her neck and proceeded to suck out some of her liquid. After such a long walk, having something so cool, refreshing and fruity was a welcomed thing for his mouth. He only drank a reccomended amount, He was trained well to know when to ration food and water.

 

[Karcen]

84 was surprised when Sebastian came up behind her she expected something but him drinking from her neck was not what she expected. Still it was a good place to drink from as it was open and easy to get to. Still she felt Sebastian only drink so much saving some for latter.


" So what do we do first master?' she asked looking at the ruined ruins which were nothing like what they had been when they had first been built.
