Character Background:

There isn’t a lot known about Alex before he was found and taken in by Luarn who was the Royal Family’s Healer and Personal Mage when he was 10 when Luarn found the young fae alone and suffering from iron burns, it was at that point on Alex had been quite fascinated with what the fae called human magic and healing from on out.

From that time on, he took to it like a duck to water under Luarn’s teachings and even became Prince Link’s playmate, despite the age gap, and loved Link as a little brother. That was shattered when Cyam made his move on the castle that fateful night and helped his master/adoptive father in getting Link out of the castle. However, in the chaos, he had gotten separated from Luarn and Link, and by the time he had found his father, Luran was already dead and Link missing.

From then on, he threw himself into learning anything related to medicine, all the while, praying that Link had survived that night since he did not know Luran had cast before his death a spell that would disguise Link all this time. It was at that time, he heard whispers of a rebellion against Cyam and offered to be their healer, knowing if it came down to a fight, there were going to be injuries. His only wish is to find Link, to atone for not being there to help protect him.

I just thought of something sad on my way home tonight, while there are other survivors of that night, scattered as they are, or even just working for Cyam since that was the only job they knew, or has decent pay.

Alex is the only person left that is very close to Sky and knew what he was like on a personal level before things went down besides Sky's parents before their death.

Idk, maybe Vhan's weird tiefling biology will be useful here: my guy sits on the coals from the fire to stay warm (downside of high fire resistance? Always feel cold), eats egg shells and burned bread (delicious and cronchy!), can see easily in the dark (but bright daylight hurts his eyes a bit)... maybe stinky flowers are his vibe? Haha
